"You could just give him a call."
"I don't think so, Joe. He almost took my head! A guy doesn't get over that too quickly."
"A guy? Sure. But a friend…"
Richie groaned and flopped down on the bed. "You goin' all 'afterschool special' on me?"
"Don't worry, kid, I'll leave all that for when you see MacLeod again."
"If I see him again."
"Sure. Just do me a favor and keep that head firmly attached in the meantime, ok?"
"Don't worry," Richie said, glancing over at the figure stretched beside him. "I've been getting some help with that lately."
