Hogwarts Online-Chapter1-Connected

Sitting in the great hall on the first day of a new term there was excitement in the air. Friends were greeting friends telling each other all the exciting things they had done over the break. At the end of the Gryffendor table sat a group of three fifteen year olds, the first was a girl with curley brown hair and honey colered eyes. The next was a tall lanky boy with fire red hair and freckles. The last but certantily more famous of the three was a boy with jet-black hair fierce emerald eyes but his most striking feature was a tiny lighting-bolt scar on his forhead.
In the midst of all this conversation there was a sudden call for silence which was quickly granted. At the front of the hall was a long staff table in the center of it there stood the headmaster of the school Albus Dulmbledore. Once he was sure that there was compleate silence he began his tradtional start of term speech.
"Welcome to another year at Hogwarts! Before we all become to befudled by our delicous feast I have something rather serious that needs to be disscussed. As I am sure you are all aware Voldermort is rising in power again and because we want to make this school year as safe as possiable we have decided that all classes will be taken using the muggle form of entertainment the internet. For those of you that do not know this means you will be using computers to take your classes instead of sitting in classrooms. This is due to the fact that we want to reduce the chance of an attack on a large nnumber of students in the classrooms. The way this will be done is that you will attend all your classes in the privacey of your own bed using what is called a laptop. each of you will be given a name to use while on these computers. There is a postive thing for all you in additon to using the computers for school you will also be allowed to converse with other students within the school on your free time. Now without any further ado I say let's all dig in!"
At This, the hall burst into a fury of conversation. At the Grffendor table Ron looked dumbstruck.
"What's a campuder?" Harry couldn't help but laugh Hermione looked as if she wanted to hit him for asking such a question.
"Oh really Ronald! A computer is a muggle form of entertainment you can get online and comunicate with anyone in the world, but suspect they are going to make it so that we can only talk to people inside Hogwarts."
She turned to Harry and said "isn't this exciting Harry I can hardly wait to begin classes!" With that she bounded out of her seat, "Where you going 'Mione?" Harry said with a slight smile. She looked at him as if he shouldn't have had asked
"To the Libray to start studying of course" and with that she was gone.
Meanwhile down at the other end of the table sat Ginny Weasly, She too was as excited as Hermione but for different reasons. "This is going to make it easier for us to meet boys without the pressure.." she said to her friend Susan who just sat there shaking her head at the yougest Weasley.
At the Slytherin table Draco Malfoy was saying to Crabbe "Do you realize what this means this school has compleatly gone to the dogs wait until my father hears about this!"
Luna Lovegood was sitting alone at end of the Ravenclaw table, thinking to herself "At least people won't be able to see me so maybe they won't make fun of me now"
It seemed as if everyone had a different opinon but little they know that pretty soon they would be connected by more then just the internet.
