"Can we go in now?" Pyra asked one of the doctors. As the Aegis blade was becoming impatient from waiting so long. As some of the others were as well.
From what they heard everything went well in the room. But they all wanted to see the baby themselves. Pyra especially being excited.
But the doctor was t having it. He said he would only let them have visitors when the mother and father were ready. And when Pyra asked the doctor again. His response was the same as before.
"Sorry. But only when the mother is ready." The doctor stated adjusting her glasses. "Until then your going to have to wait longer."
"Fine." Pyra nodded as she sat next to Mythra. Who was on her phone mainly.
"Don't worry Pyra. They said everything's fine." Mythra turned and told Pyra as the fire blade nodded.
"I know. But I can't wait any longer!" Pyra whispered. "I'm so excited! Babies are so cute!"
"I do agree with you on that." Mythra smiled. As she scrolled threw images on her phone.
Suddenly another doctor came out of the hospital room where Nia gave birth. As he smiled.
"They're both ready for you." He said as he walked back to do his other doctor duties.
"Oi. Let's go." Morag said to Brighid as the blue blade nodded.
Rex and Nia's friends got up from their chairs as they walked to the hospital room. While Mario and Luigi stayed behind.
"Say Mario, shouldn't we a go in with a them?" Luigi asked tapping his brother's shoulder.
"Nah. Let's a let them have their moment." Mario said. As he opened a food magazine. And came across Gordon Ramsey yelling at a chef because they made terrible pasta. The man's really good at his job.
Meanwhile...
"Oh. His hands are so tiny." Nia squealed a little as Ethan was grasping her finger with his hand. "I don't wanna take my blimey eyes off him."
"Neither do I." Rex said. Smiling down as he slightly touched one of Ethan's Gormott ears. "Oi. He's so cute."
"Yeah." Nia said. When suddenly, Ethan opened his eyes slowly as he yawned. When he then looked up at Rex and Nia. Both his parents smiling at him.
"Hey there buddy. We're your mom and dad." Rex said giving him a wave. "We love you so blimey much."
After Rex said that. Ethan giggled as he reached up to touch his father's face and then his mother's face. Making Rex and Nia smile more.
"Aww. Are you happy Ethan? Are you hungry?" Nia asked as she slightly lifted down her nightgown. And put Ethan close to her chest as she began to breastfeed her baby.
Nia happily fed Ethan as he sucked on her breast drinking her milk. As Rex pet Ethan's little ears.
Rex then glanced a little at the front of Nia's nightgown. But before he could get a better look. Nia glared at him.
"Oi! No looking!" Nia whispered as Rex nodded turning his head.
Rex then looked back as he asked Nia. "Can I drink a little?"
Nia raised an eyebrow and shook her head. "Blimey no! This milk is for Ethan and Ethan only!"
"S-sorry. Only joking." Rex said blushing as he rubbed the back of his head.
Nia's expression turned into a smile as she continued to breastfeed Ethan. Making sure he was fed what he wanted.
When suddenly the others came in.
"Hi. Doctor said we could come in." Mythra stated as Nia stopped breastfeeding Ethan. Mythra then looked down at the baby. "Is that. Your child."
"Yep. Pretty cute ain't he?" Rex asked. As the entire group looked down at Nia and Ethan.
"Oi. Any of wanna hold him?" Nia asked. As Pyra put her hand up.
"Sure." Nia handed Ethan to Pyra carefully and gently. As Pyra cradled him in her arms.
Pyra slowly rocked Ethan as the baby was sucking his thumb. While Mythra watched Pyra cradle him.
"Careful. Don't drop him. Be careful." Mythra said as Pyra stared at Mythra.
"I'm being careful." Pyra said as she then turned to Mythra. "Would you like to hold him?"
"W-what?" Mythra asked. "Are you sure?"
Pyra turned to Nia and Rex. Who both smiled and nodded.
Mythra shook as Pyra carefully put Ethan in her arms.
As you could probably tell, Mythra was very uncomfortable holding Ethan. As a sweat drop fell from her forehead. As she looked worried and shook as she continued to hold the baby.
Ethan giggled as he smiled at the blade who was holding him. As he reached out to her.
"No, no, no, please don't touch me." Mythra whispered. As she shook her head. But since Ethan was a newborn he couldn't exactly understand the other form of the Aegis.
As Ethan then touched Mythra's face, she screamed.
"Ahhhhh!!!" Mythra screamed as Ethan continued to cry. Mythra then put Ethan into Pyra's arms as she crouched down and covered her face. As the others could barely see that it was very red.
"M-Mythra?" Pyra asked as Ethan continued to laugh. Waving his tiny hands around.
"H-he touched me! I could've hurt him! Or dropped him! Ohh this is so embarrassing!" Mythra said as the others laughed.
"Is Mythra Mythra okay?" Tora asked patting Mythra on the back.
Rex and Nia both laughed at Mythra's embarrassment. As the others continued to laugh.
Nia then stopped laughing as she looked at Ethan. "Oi. Does anyone else wanna hold him?"
Later...
It was now 9:00 at night. As the others exited the hospital. Along with Mario and Luigi.
Nia had to stay at the hospital for a few nights. To let her rest after giving birth. And to make sure Ethan was safe and healthy.
Everyone had a chance to hold and see Ethan. Rex didn't know at first if it was safe for anyone else to hold Ethan after Mythra freaked out. But Nia let the others hold him.
Brighid was the most expressive when she held Ethan. She was currently him and rocking him like he was their own baby. She was able to rock Ethan to sleep. Smiling the whole time.
That smile then faded away when Morag asked the blue blade when they would be having a child. Brighid then didn't say anything else for the rest of the time at the hospital. She didn't even bat an eye at her driver Morag.
Rex asked if he could stay at the hospital for the night with Nia. The doctors agreed and let him. But only if he slept on the floor of the room. Rex didn't mind of mind. As he and his group slept on the grasslands slot during their journey.
The group then entered Luigi's bus as they were ready to go back to the manor. As Pyra and Mythra were about to get on the bus. Mario put his hand out.
"Wait. Pyra, a Mythra." Mario said. "You two can a ride back in a my car."
"Reason why?" Mythra asked the Italian plumber.
"You two have a joined smash." Mario smiled. "Plus Luigi's a bus is a pretty packed. Would you two a mind?"
"Not at all. I would like to talk to Mythra." Pyra said. As Mythra looked up and glanced at her Fire counterpart.
"Okie dokie. Let's a go." Mario said as he entered his car and started it. As Pyra opened the back door and got in. As Mythra followed in. Pyra closed the door as Mario backed out his car. And began to duct back.
Mario put on headphones as music kept him awake on car trips. Meaning now that he was wearing headphones he couldn't hear the two blades in the back.
Mythra was looking out the window. As Pyra slightly glanced at Mythra. Pyra showing a Lon of worry, while Mythra showing a look implying that she didn't care.
That's when Pyra broke the silence.
"So. Do you wanna. Talk about what happened?" Pyra asked. As Mythra perked her eyes up and turned to Pyra.
"About. What exactly?" Mythra asked.
"You know. The way you acted when you were holding Ethan." Pyra frowned at her. "And when he touched your face."
Mythra rolled her eyes and blushed. "I just. Didn't want to drop him. Simple as that."
"You didn't feel comfortable holding him. Did you?" Pyra asked as Mythra ignored her. "Mythra come on. What's the reason why?"
Mythra sighed and shook her head. "It felt. It felt like it was my child."
Pyra raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"
"It's weird. But I felt like, I was holding my own child." Mythra explained. "And it, made me uncomfortable."
"I do understand what you mean." Pyra nodded. "But why? Why did it make you feel uncomfortable?"
"Because, because I don't like. I, I don't feel good around children." Mythra said. "I could never imagine having children. Ever."
"Mythra, do you not want children in the future?" Pyra asked showing concern.
"No, I'm a Blade. I don't want children. I would be too much for me." Mythra admitted. As Pyra then turned her expression from concern to sadness.
"Not even, with me?" Pyra asked. Causing Mythra to widen her eyes a little. "You wouldn't want to ever have children with me?"
"Well. Pyra. I love you. But, it's not like I want children." Mythra said. "Why?"
"Because I thought we would have children in the future." Pyra said. It's true, the Aegis Fire blade always wanted to have kids with Mythra in the future. When the two got married at some point. It seems Mythra and Pyra had different opinions on having children though.
"Wait. Your serious?" Mythra asked turning to Pyra as she showed a look of concern to her Fire counterpart. "You. Actually wanted to have children in the future?"
"Mythra. After finding out the Blades like Nia can be pregnant. I always thought it would be exciting to have a child of my own." Pyra said. "To teach them things, to raise another life. I just thought it would be nice."
"Oh. Well, I'm sorry to hear that." Mythra said. "I feel very bad for Nia and Rex. There gonna have to deal with that little guy now."
"Mythra!" Pyra exclaimed. "How could you-"
"Just saying, if I was Nia, I'd probably get an abortion." Mythra said spitefully as Pyra gained an expression of shock and fear.
"MYTHRA!!! WHAT A TERRIBLE THING TO SAY!!" Pyra exclaimed. Yelling at her counterpart. "You know that's not an easy decision for people!"
"So what? It's what I would do. Not saying Nia had to." Mythra said. As she rolled her eyes. "Why are you getting so mad?"
"Because. Because. Urgh!" Pyra grunted clenching her fists. "Why do you hate children so much?!"
"Why are you such an annoying bitch?!" Mythra yelled back at Pyra.
"I'm not a bitch! Your just really mean!" Pyra yelled.
"And your too nice! Your gross too!" Mythra exclaimed as the two were now glaring at each other.
"Oh so I'm the one with a problem?!" Pyra pushed Mythra. Causing Mythra to push her back.
"Yes you are!" Mythra yelled. As the two kept arguing with each other. When they stopped as they felt the car stop.
"Okay, we're a back." Mario told the two. As he parked his car and got out to the mansion.
Pyra and Mythra nodded as they exited Mario's car and went back into the mansion.
When suddenly, Pyra accidentally bumped into Mythra's side.
"Hey! Watch it Pyra." Mythra grunted.
"You watch it Mythra." Pyra whispered furiously.
Mythra then glared at Pyra and elbow bumped her. Which caused Pyra to push Mythra a little.
And when you thought it was over. Mythra punched Pyra right in the face.
The two then pushed against each other as they started fighting. Punching, hitting, pushing each other. When a crowd gathered around the two blades.
"I hate you Mythra!!"
"I hate you too Pyra!!"
"PYRA!!! MYTHRA!!! WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING?!"
Pyra and Mythra stopped fighting as they looked up as they saw Master Hand. Both covered in dirt marks and scratches. As Pyra was on top of Mythra.
"What in the world are you two doing?!" Master Hand demanded. "No fighting allowed outside of Smash battles unless you are training or a danger is lurking! Both of you, in my office, now."
Pyra and Mythra got up as they both glared at each other. And followed Master Hand. As the people in the crowd whispered to each other.
Later...
Master Hand was floating in the hallway on the way to his office. As Pyra and Mythra we're following him. Both still covered in dirt marks from their fight.
The door to Master Hand's office opened as he floated in. "Follow me you two."
"This is all your fault Mythra." Pyra whispered to her counterpart.
"Shut it." Mythra whispered back. As the two entered Master Hand's office.
It was a nice office. Nice wood desk, a cot nearby, good painted white walls, and a picture of Crazy Hand on the wall.
Master Hand got behind his desk as Pyra and Mythra stood there.
"Sit down." Master Hand said. As Pyra and Mythra sat in the two chairs in front of Master Hand's desk.
Pyra and Mythra sat on the chairs in silence. Both looking worried as they glanced around the office. Nervous and somewhat scared of Master Hand.
"I'm disappointed in you two." Master Hand spoke. "I thought you two were better than this. Why did you two start a fight?"
"She started it." Pyra said causing Mythra to turn to the fire Aegis.
"No I didn't!" Mythra said.
"Enough. Why did you two start that fight?"
"Fine." Pyra explained. "So, we were at the hospital today, Nia went into labor. After she gave birth she let us hold the baby. And Mythra freaked out. Then..."
Pyra explained everything to Master Hand. About how Nythra freaked out and was scared when she was holding him and when he touched her face. And about the argument the two blades had in Mario's car on the way home. And how they started a fight with each other.
And Master Hand's response, was interesting.
"Hmm. I see, I see. People tend to get into arguments a lot. Especially with that subject and other things. However I don't understand why you two started a fight." Master Hand said. "I have no choice but to punish you two for this. However you are new residents, and it made the fans happy. So I'll give you an easy punishment."
Pyra and Mythra sighed of relief.
"You two must stay in your rooms for a week. And you have to clean both bathrooms after Taco night." Master Hand said as Pyra and Mythra showed faces of disgust.
"Ewwwwwwww!" They both said.
Looks like Pyra and Mythra should be more careful not to make their fights physical.
Meanwhile...
Nia was currently lying in a hospital bed. Resting.
While Rex was sitting on the floor of the room. Leaning against the wall. The doctors said they needed to check Ethan to make sure he was a healthy baby and nothing was wrong with him.
The doctors told Rex that Nia could leave the hospital in a few days. She just needed lots of rest. Mainly because giving birth is very painful.
When the doctors asked Rex what Nia liked to eat. She told them that fish and cookies were her favorite. As they nodded and agreed to give her those foods if she ever requested them.
Rex looked up at Nia, who was sound asleep. Eyes closed and fast asleep.
Rex smiled. He couldn't wait until they could leave the hospital and be with Ethan.
So Rex closed his eyes, and fell asleep.
There we are!!! Another chapter!! Hopefully Pyra and Mythra can figure out their arguments. Nia and Rex will also be returning back to the manor. Both of them are also excited!!
