The Marquee was being packed inside the duel arena as DA alumni get to witness the rematch of the century. Many students including Judai and Ryo's former classmates who were there to witness their graduation match seven years ago are eager to know the outcome of Duel Academy's 2 former top Duelist.
Many former students were rooting for both of them and choose to not to pick sides just like they did during their graduation duel 7 years ago including their friends and Sho, who just wanted to see these two give it their all like the last tcouple of times.
"So who do you think will win?" Yusuke asked to Fubuki as they were watching the duel above with the others in sideline.
"This duel is a unpredictable one, after we disappeared Ryo became the Kaiser and the only one apart from us who could give him a challenge is Judai-kun. The last time they dueled their match ended in a draw". Fubuki stated.
"I hope Aniki is ready. I''ve seen Kaiser-senpai back in action since he charged back into battle and he's tough as ever". Kenzen stated.
"Aniki stands a chance now, but there's no telling if Ni-san has news cunning tricks up his selvees". Sho added.
Duel with Judai and Ryo
"Duel". Both Duelist shout in unison as they begin and they both have 4000 LP
Turn 1: Judai
"I can't believe it's been 7 years since our final full duel. We did duel one other time, but that was just to cheer me up. Kaiser is very tough and strong, but I'm no pushover either". Judai thought.
"I''ll go first". Judai declared as he drew his card.
"Knowing Judai, he''ll always Fusion in his 1st turn. That would be smart considering the hand I have in store for him". Ryo thought
"I activate my Double Fusion card! By paying 500 LP, I can Fusion Summon twice!" Judai exclaimed. Judai's LP dropped from 4000 to 3500
"Fusion Summoned twice ?". Ryo asked
"That's right! First I fuse Elemntal Hero Sparksman and Clayman in my hand and summon Elemental Hero Thunder Giant (2400/1500) !". Judai exclaimed.
"Next is Elemental Heroes Bubbleman and Burstinatrix for my Elemental Hero Steam Healer (1800/1000)!"
"Two Fusion Monsters right off the bat!" Rei exclaimed.
"I''ll set one card face down and end my turn." Judai declared
"Your still ahead of me in Fusion and excited department, impressive". Ryo stated sarcastically.
"Well of course I am, after all I am dueling the best rival I ever had". Judai replied.
"I say the same thing to you, I never thought that a Slifer Red would give me the best duel in my life". Ryo explained.
"This won't be like the graduation duel, and this time the victory will be mine". Judai vowed to defeat him.
"I always expect more from you Judai, but defeating me isn't a piece of cake". Ryo stated strongly
Turn 2: Ryo
"It my turn". Ryo declared
"I "'ll activate Polymerization! This card lets me fuse together 2 Cyber Dragons in my hand to form Cyber Twin Dragon! (2800/2100)". Ryo exclaimed.
"What! I thought you gave your deck to Sho ans started using a new deck, but it looks like your still using your own deck". Judai thought Ryo would be using a new deck, since he already entrusted his Cyber End and CyberDark deck to Sho 5 years ago. He was surprised but still glad to see Ryo using Cyber End Dragon.
"Sho still has my original deck, and I was planning to start up with a new deck, but when I made a comeback to Pro and started my league 3 years ago, Pegasus-san gave me a copy of my Cyber End deck and he also advised me that it's better I stick to Cyber End deck rather than trying a new one, because they suit me prefectly." Ryo explained
"But I am glad your using your own deck, since I am familiar with your deck I can fina a way to kick your ass". Judai stated with a chuckle.
"I hope you haven't forgotten his effect Judai, my Cyber Twin Dragon can attack twice in one turn". Ryo explained.
"Off course I still remember". Judai stated.
"Now Cyber Twin Dragon attack his Steam Healer with Double Strident Blaze!" Ryo commanded.
"I activate Negate Attack! This card cancels your attack and ends the Battle Phase!" Judai explained.
"Nice move, but my Cyber Twin Dragon remains the powerhouse in the field. I set one card face down and end my turn". Ryo stated
Turn 3: Judai
"I activate Pot of Greed which let me draw 2 more cards". Judai explained. He then grabbed 2 more cards and looked at them with a smirk.
"So can you guess which card I am going to use?. Judai asked to Kaiser smugly
"Oh no! you are going to use De-Fusion!. Ryo exlcaimed
"That's right! I''ll use it to send your Cyber Twin Dragon back to your Extra Deck!. Judai stated.
"Now, I activate Thunder Giant's effect! I can discard one card and destroy a monster on the field with lower attack points. Now Thunder Giant attack him directly".
"Not so fast Judai! I activate my Attack Reflector Unit. This card allows me to sacrifice my Cyber Dragon in order to bring out from Cyber Barrier Dragon from my deck". Ryo explained.
"Damm it! I thought I would take the lead, but as usual you never hold back". Judai cursed and complained. "Guess I will end my turn". He added
Turn 4: Ryo
"Its my turn, I activate Pot of Greed as wel. I will draw twice more". Ryo explained as he drew twice and smirked at his cards.
"I must admit you are cunning and good at tricking , but I am no fool. I sacrifice Cyber Barrier Dragon in order to bring out my third Cyber Dragon". Ryo stated
"I then activate Cybernetic Fusion Support! This card allows me to banish monsters from my hand, graveyard of my field in order to Fusion Summon a Machine-Type monster. Next I am going to pay half of my LP. Ryo's LP dropped from 4000 to 2000
"I banish 3 Cyber Dragons to summon Cyber End Dragpn"
"Oh man! Kenzen exclaimed
"Now Aniki is in disadvantage!" Sho added
"As usual you are very good Kaiser, and always surpass my expectations". Judai complimented Ryo with a smile.
"You better show me everything you got on your next turn", Ryo urged him.
"Now Cyber End Dragon attack his Steam Healer with Super Strident Blaze!. Ryo commanded
"Not so fast, I activate Necro Gardna's effect from my graveyard. By banishing it I can negate your attack". Judai explained.
Ryo growled as Cyber End attack faded from existence.
"I thought Judai would be finished but he managed to survive". Yusuke stated.
"Horray Aniki". Kenzen cheered.
"I will set one card face down and end my turn". Ryo declared
Turn 5: Judai
" I draw, I activate Card or Sanctity. We both draw till we his 6 cards each".
Both Duelist drew took they had 6 cards in their new hands.
" I then summon Neo-Spacian Grand Mole!" Judai declared
" Now Grand Mole attack Cyber End Dragon". Judai commanded
"I won't let you win so easily! I activate Mystic Wok! This card lets me sacrifice Cyber End Dragon in order to gain LP equal to its ATK". Ryo explained as his LP increased form 2000 to 6000
"You will need those extra LP for this! Thunder Gaint and Steam Healer attack Kaiser directley! Judai explained
Ryo screamed as Steam Healer blasted him backwards and his LP dropped from 6000 to 1800
" I see! Ryo knew if Cyber End Dragon would''ve been sent to his Extra Deck, he would lose and that's why he activates Mystic Work to gain some LP". Fubuki stated.
"Its also in the graveyard which means Judai-sama will be in trouble if Ryo-sama brings it back". Rei added
"I set 2 cards face down and end my turn". Judai declared.
Turn 7: Ryo
" I must admit Judai you have some good unpredictable combo but this duel is far from being over.". Ryo complimented Judai
I draw, I activate Lightning Vortez! By discarding one card all monsters on your field are done". Ryo explained
"I now summon Cyber Phoenix (1200/1600) to the field!"
"Now Cyber Phoenix attack Judai directly". Ryo commanded.
Judai screamed as he was blasted and flying backwards. His LP dropped from 3500 to 2300.
"I end my turn". Ryo declared
Turn 8: Judai
" I draw, I summon Elemental Hero Neos Aluis (1900/1300)
"Now Neos Aluis attack Cyber Phoenix". Judai commanded
Ryo growled as his LP dropped from 1800 to 1100.
"When Cyber Phoenix is destroyed, I can draw one card". Ryo explained as he drew a card.
"I end my turn Judai declared.
Turn 9: Ryo
Ryo drew another card making his hand limit five and he smirked while looking at it.
"I activate Time Fusion to remove from play one card in my hand and Special Summon Cyber End Dragon, from my Fusion Deck during my next standby phase, ignoring its summoning conditions, but Cyber End Dragon will be unable to attack during this turn".
"Oh No! Judai recoiled
"Oh Yes, this is a callback to our duel 7 years ago". Ryo reminded him
"I end my turn". Ryo declared
Turn 10: Judai
"I set 1 cards facedown and end my turn".
Turn 11: Ryo
"I draw Power Bond. I then activate De-Fusion to return Cyber End Dragon to the Fusion Deck and Special Summon my 3 Cyber Dragons (2100/1600 each) from my graveyard in Attack mode. I then activates Power Bond to fuse my 3 Cyber Dragons together and Fusion Summon Cyber End Dragon (4000/2800) in Attack mode, Due to the effect of Power Bond, the original ATK of Cyber End Dragon is doubled (Cyber End Dragon 4000 to 8000/2800), but I will take damage equal to the original ATK of Cyber End Dragon at end of my turn". Ryo explained
"Now Cyber End Dragon attacks your Elemental Hero Neos Aluis". Ryo commanded
"I won't allow it. I activate Neos Guard!. This card allows me to send one Neo-Spacian from my hand to the graveyard and I can negate your attack!"
"Well it's not a missed opurtunity, I will end my turn". Ryo declared
Turn 12: Judai
Kaiser is always tough, I guess it's impossible for me to defeat him. Judai thought. His eyes then went green and orange as Yubel appeared next to him.
"You shouldn't give up hope Judai. Kaiser has you trapped down, but there is always a way out of this". Yubel assured.
"I am uncertain what I can do Yubel. I could attack and make him waste his last card, but that monster would be destroyed". Judai explained
"Just think with what you have in your hand and let the plan flow as it may". Yubel instructed as she disappear
"I now sacrifice all the monsters I have in my field".
"What!" Ryo exclaimed in shock
" I draw Elemntal Hero Sparksman. I then activates Fusion Recovery to add Polymerization and Elemental Hero Burstinatrix from my graveyard to my hand. I then Normal Summons Elemental Hero Burstinatrix (1200/800) in Attack mode. Next I activates Miracle Fusion to remove from play Burstinatric and Elemental Hero Avian from my field and graveyard in order to Fusion Summon Elemental Hero Flame Wingman (2100/1200) in Attack mode".
"I then activates Polymerization to fuse Flame Wingman with Sparksman in order to Fusion Summon Elemental Hero Shining Flare Wingman (2500/2100) in Attack mode. Due to the effect of Shining Flare Wingman, it gains 300 ATK for every Elemntal Hero in my graveyard.".
"Now Elemental Hero Shining Flare Wingman attack and destroy Cyber End Dragon". Judai commanded
Ryo cried as his LP dropped from 1100 to 200
"No Way!" Ryo exclaimed in shock.
"I am not done yet, Kaiser thanks for this killer duel, now Flarme Wingman attacks you directly and end this duel". Judai commanded.
Ryo smiled as he can't believe Judai managed to beat him this time. He has grown so much since they last flight and he is proud of Judai
"Judai has always surpassed me, well done Judai". Ryo muttered and he lowered his head as the blast smash into him and he was flying backwards as his LP dropped to 0.
"I can't believe Aniki managed to beat Ni-san!" Sho exclaimed. "Hooray Aniki good job".
Everyone was shocked at the outcome but eventually cheered.
The monsters disappeared as Judai headed over to Ryo. Ryo groaned as he sat up and Judai stood before him.
"Gotcha that was a fun duel Kaiser". Judai said with a wink as he did his usual pose.
"Indeed It is". Ryo stated with a chuckle and he was glad Judai is back to his old self and started to enjoy dueling once again.
Judai offered Ryo his hand and the former Kaiser gracefully accept his offer as he stood up.
"I can't believe I finally got to beat you!" Judai exclaimed.
"Judai thank you so much for giving be the best duel, It certainly is spectacular".
"However we are tied. You defeat me once and I've won one. Our next duel will settle the score". Judai explained.
"I am looking forward to it". Ryo stated.
Judai smiled big as he finally defeated Ryo after all this time. This isn't the the end of them as they knew they will have a rematch again in near future.
