At the Marufuji Apartment
When Judai arrived at the Marufuji's apartment he was amazed to see how beautiful, neat, and clean their apartment is. It is a modern deluxe apartment decorated with all modern furnitures, home decors and the apartment has all the essentials.
As he entered the apartments, opposite to the main entrance door there is a huge shoe cupboard attached to the wall where the brothers store all of their shoes, as he soon as he entered Judai removed his shoes a long with the brothers and walked thorugh the hallway, he saw the apartment main area has open plan kitchen living room area, and the living room area also has a bar area but the brothers don't drink alcohol or any intoxicant drinks so they decorate the bar area with some home decors along with their family, childhood, and teenage photos, including the ones they took with their dear friends at Duel Academy. Judai remembered he took many group photos with them and his other friends back when they were in school and he was glad to see that they kept two group photos they took with him one was a group photo taken during Ryo's graduation party which consist of him, the Marufuji brothers, Misawa, Chazz, Fubuki and Asuka standing outside the Obelisk Blue boys dorm and all of them smiling for the camera and that photo was taken by Chronos, and the other one was the group photo he took with Sho, Asuka, Fubuki, Rei, Kenzen, Chazz, Johan, Jim and O'Brien outside the main school building which was taken during his final year just a week after the transfer students came, and he also smiled when he saw a photo of 2 year old Ryo carrying a newborn Sho in his arms which he find it adorable, and a group photo of Ryo, with his best friends Yusuke and Fubuki taken during their 1st year 10 years ago. The brothers don't mind Judai looking at their pictures since he's their long term most trusted friend. Their kitchen is equipped with all modern latest microwave and cookware facilities.
The apartment also has 2 balcony's, a laundry room, a servant bedroom with attached bathroom which they use it as a store room where they store unwanted things and other items they don't use it anymore and plan to give it for donation to charity organizations they are patron of, a large dueling room which stores all the latest dueling equipments and they use that room to practice their duels for their upcoming matches and they also use that room as their office, a dining room area which the brothers only use when they invite their friends or relatives for a meal or party at their home, while most of the time they eat their meals together at their kitchens highland table, 3 bedrooms with attached bathrooms. Ryo and Sho sleep in separate bedrooms while another extra bedroom is for the guests to use whenever they come to stay with them such as their friends or relatives.
The brothers live in Domino, while their native hometown where their parents live is few hours away from Domino, but they still see them every week. During weekends if the brothers don't have hectic schedules during weekdays, they would often spend the weekends and holiday seasons at their parents house. If they couldn't make it to their parents house during weekends due to hectic schedules their parents would travel to Domino and visit them.
Ryo's parents gifted him this apartment when he turned 18, and he moved in after he graduated, and after Sho graduated he allowed his younger brother to move in with him.
Ryo was about to direct Judai to guest bedroom but Sho allowed him to sleep with him since he missed being Judai's roommate.
Sho's bedroom is also decorated with modern furnitures, he has a king-sized bed, a walking closest where he stores all of his clothes and travel luggages, attached bathroom, mini couch, a vanity table with mirror attached to it where he keeps his cosmetic products which consist of his perfumes and skincare products, comb and hair brush, and also a large TV attached to wall where he used to play his videogames and PlayStation while he use the TV in living room to watch his entertainment and worldly news.
Both mens changed into their comfy PJs and decide to stay up all night and play video games after coming from party similar to what they did during their school days during Fridays and Saturdays where they would be awake along with Chummley and play video games together if they don't have classes in the morning.
At Pro League with Chazz just few days after the reunion party
Chazz Princeton has became the Ojama King of the Pro League. He was the only Duelist known to have mastered all of the Ojama's strategies, while other Duelist discarded them as worthless cards. He had used their strategies skillfully in Pro and along with his other power based cards, successfully rose his way to the top ranked Duelist of any Pro League.
At times he felt he still had a way to go to rival Edo Pheonix and even to some extent the Marufuji brothers, even though he constantly believed Sho to be a useless amateur during their days in Duel Academy, now he made sure to congratulate Sho's sucess, with the short Duelist mutually praising Chazz.
Today, Chazz was completing his another Pro Leauge Duel. His opponent had a Baby Dragon on his field, stuck in attack mode, after his direct attack attempt failed.
Chazz had infernal Incienerator in play and with his effect, held 3000 Attack points.
"Now I Have nullified your attacks with my Ojama's who paid the price!" Chazz yelled, "I shall now avenge them with this blazing assault! Infernal Incienerator, destroy that Dragon!"
Infernal Incienerator wiped out the Baby Dragon as well as the opponents remaining 2500 L.P. and Chazz won.
"And as expected the victory is our raising Ojama King Chazz Princeton, our on-going champion!" Shouted the commentator.
Many of his fans in stadium were dressed in Ojama and Chazz T-shirts were shouting "Chazz It Up!" which was the same catchphrase, back from Duel Academy that Chazz still loved to hear even now. Waving to his dozens fans, Chazz departed from the duel stadium and went to his make up room and removed his clothes to take a shower. As he was showering he felt something was missing and he still needs to achieve what he wants at all cost.
After he finished showering, he grabbed the towel from the rack and gently dried his body and hair. After a shower he did his body care routine applying his body lotion all over his body, and then began to apply his body spray and deodorant in both of his armpits, and got himself dressed in fresh cleaned professional suit, gelled his hair and sprayed some perfume all over his cloths..
After freshening himself he drank a very posh coffee, he looked in his mirror to see if his outfit was still on just the right way, but he saw something in the mirror from the corner of his eyes. It was a dark figure dressed in black cloaks that looked inhuman but very familiar.
Chazz blinked and confronted the spot in the mirror that he thought he had seen the figure from, but the dark vision had vanished.
"I must be hallucinating". Shrugged Chazz.
But little did he know just how far from a imagination witness and as Chazz turned his back to prepare for yet another duel, the vision reformed in the mirror for a moment and then vanished.
At the Marufuji's Apartment
Ryo is in the kitchen making some coffee, while Sho and Judai were resting together at the living room. they continue to talk about their life stories, and Sho showed strong jealously that not only Judai got to duel Yugi Muto but also fought alongside him.
"Why couldn't it be me? he moaned
Judai was highly amused. "Maybe you'll get a chance one day, Sho!" he said, though he had doubts personally.
Sho appreciated the kind words and felt encouraged.
"Ni-san is the coffee ready? Hurry up and come Chazz's duel will begin within 5 min".
Ryo came from the kitchen holding a tray and carefully handed Sho and Judai their coffee, after that he placed the tray in coffee table and took his one at last and sat down in a coach.
"Wow Kaiser your coffee is delicious I didn't know you can make tasty coffee" Judai complimented after taking his 1st sip.
"Are you serious"? Ryo asked with a doubt. "To be honest I don't feel that much taste whenever I make my own food let alone my coffee, but Sho makes better than me"
"But it still taste good Ni-san, your cooking skills have improved since last year, you know mom says that if we make our own food we can't feel the taste, but others can, and that's the reason you don't feel any taste when you make your own coffee" Sho said
"Yeah she did say that, but it's weird we can't feel taste when we cook our own food while others can" Ryo added.
"Why don't you two hire a servant" Judai interjected f
"To be honest, we can't trust them" Sho said.
"That's right we do household chores together and sometimes our parents comes to help us, and the reason we distrust them is because they come to steal so many of our valuable stuffs". Ryo explained.
"Really that's horrible! What did they steal from you two? Judai asked
"He stole Ni-sans valuable wrist watch our parents gifted him on his 18th birthday, and my expensive Doseir perfume I bought from my 1st salary, and after we found out we fired that servant, but we still decided to let him keep our valuable belongings ".
"When did this happen?" Judai asked
"About 2 years ago" Ryo replied.
They later watched Chazz's duel live on TV. Judai noticed vast improvements on Chazz's strategies that revolved around his power based monsters, and most particularly, his Ojama monsters, whose monsters looked as chirpy as ever.
"Chazz is amazing. Wish I could have a rematch with him at the reunion party!" sighed Judai.
"He has grown a lot stronger ever since he entered the league, and even came close to defeating me" Ryo replied while chuckling a bit.
"Bet you'd win Aniki" Sho replied supportingly.
"Thanks Sho" laughed Judai.
At Pro League with Chazz
Chazz had completed his round of duels. He was full of pride.
"Did we do good, boss?" asked Ojama Yellow curiously
"Aren't we the best?" asked Ojama Black.
"We wiped everyone out!" boasted Ojama Green.
"Yes, but that last duel nearly cost me thanks to you 3 wimps!" snapped Chazz.
"Sorry! boss!" shrieked the Ojama's clutching each other in fear of their masters stubbornness.
"You will be if you fail me again!" retorted Chazz.
Crying the Ojamas withdrew into their cards. Chazz sat down in his seat and after 5 min, started to feel bad.
"Maybe I'm being hard on them". he said.
"Not at all... said a deep sinister voice.
"Huh? Who said that?!" Shouted Chazz jumping out of his seat. He was alone in his make-up room. There was no one else in there with him.
But then a memory returned to him. The dark face he saw in the coroner of his eyes...in the mirror...
Chazz turned his head towards the mirror and saw without any doubt, the dark figure, form...the dark being that was Darkness!
"Y-you?" cried Chazz
"Calm yourself, Chazz Princeton" said Darkness coldly, "I am here to help!"
"H-help?!" asked Chazz, turning pale, "Last time we met, you trapped me and my friends in the World of Darkness, leaving me nothing but my worst nightmares, memories, and fears."
"I want to see your endurance and you passed the test" said Darkness.
"I d-d-did?" stuttered Chazz.
"Indeed". continued Darkness, "And for that honour, I wish to award you. I know you fear defeat. So I wish to free you of such fears. I know the Duelist who truly sets you on the path to humiliation is Judai Yuki!"
Chazz shuddered. Darkness was right. "Your point being?" he snapped, unafraid of the consequences of the back chatting towards the embodiment of the human races darkness.
Darkness replied, "My point is to give you the chance, to defeat and end your struggles with that Dropout Boy Judai once and for all."
Chazz's eyes widened.
"Why would you do that?" he demanded
"My reasons are confidential. Lets just say you impress me, and I give rewards to those who please me".
Chazz stayed still. He was highly doubtful of Darkness's purpose, but he was also strongly tempted by his opportunity to finally defeat Judai.
"And I know a way for you to truly defeat Judai". said Darkness.
Chazz lost his sense at once.
"Tell Me how!" He shouted almost begging.
"You must vanquish those Ojamas of yours. Discard them, banish them from your deck and from your life!". Commanded Darkness.
Chazz was shocked. "But I am the Ojama King! Those guys have made my name!"
"But as you yourself said, you were nearly failed by those ridiculous brats!" said Darkness intimidatingly, "Their time has passed. You need only victory, join forces with me!"
Chazz was once again alone in his make-up room, pale in his black suit.
Somewhere in the streets of Domino with Chazz
Chazz stood outside. It was windy evening. He was thinking of his encounter with Darkness. He was strongly conflicted. He knew Darkness couldn't be trusted. He knew that he and Judai were more friends now ,and that he was a top Pro Duelist anyway...but then...
He thought of how many times Judai had humiliated him, never looked remorseful for getting him hated and ridiculed by his former friends, made him look useless in TV, defeated him leading to him being disowned by his own brothers and worst of all...of how his cherry happy was always made Asuka Tenjouin look at him in the way Chazz looked at her and longer for her to look at him in the same way...But she never did because of Judai.
And Chazz remembered Darkness saying that Ojamas were holding him back from finally wining a duel against Judai.
Chazz fished out his Ojamas from his deck and their spirits appeared forth from them.
"You wanted us boss?" asked Ojama Yellow gleefully.
Chazz looked at him with disgust. "No, and I never needed to either".
"Huh?" gasped Ojama Green, "What do you mean boss?"
Chazz grinned. "I mean you have fun your course and I no longer require your annoying says it skills!"
"Boss, no!" cried Ojama Black.
"Please Boss!". Sobbed Yellow and Green
"Goodbye losers!" shouted Chazz over their whining and he threw them high into the windy air.
"We will be back, boss!" Cried Ojama Yellow, "You need us! You"ll see!"
And the 3 Ojama brothers were gone, carried away by the harsh winds.
The Chazz's eyes went blank. He stood absolutely emotionless and motionless. Behind him was Darkness'a shadow. He was laughing.
"So Chazz, you made the foolish choice of taking my advice...but the right choice for me! Now I will fill your heart with so much darkness, you will become my full new vessel and with your help...I shall spread darkness across the world once more. Judai Yuki, the second reign of Darkness will soon be upon us...and you can do nothing this time, the victory shall be mine this time!" And he cackled loudly, and Chazz walked home...under Darkness's distant control.
