With The Gang At Island
The group of friends had spread themselves across the whole estate of Duel Academy to protect it with their Duel Disks and deck should Nightshroud or Trueman return.
Damon was in the forest, searching everywhere for anyone or anything unusual. Asuka and Sorano had woken Belowski and the sleepy Duelist surveyed and took in charge in guarding the roof of the Academy looking over the view to search for any intruders. He was very vigilant after hearing that Chronos was defeated and outcast into the World of Darkness.
Asuka had asked Junko and Momoe to guard over the Abandoned Dorm. They agreed so as long as they did not have to enter the area. Both ladies were quite terrified even now of the area.
"We will be okay?" Junko asked.
"S-sure". Momoe replied in a stutter.
Junko was not convinced as Momoe's response sounded more like a question to herself than a word of encouragement. Fubuki however had encouraged both of them with kisses on each hand like a vilant gentleman, but he also warned them to not go inside under any circumstances.
Now that everyone else had arrived, Asuka and Ryo left Judai. Ryo, Fubuki, Yusuke and Honest took over from Ayukawa and help Sorano guard the Blue dorm while she returned to the nursing room to watch over sick students.
Asuka had returned to Principal's office and began do some office work Samejima left her behind while also keeping an eye on entire island through CCTV
Sho and Kenzen watched with Judai on all sides of the Academy's main building, encircling it slowly and surveying the areas with care and caution.
O'Brien and Johan were guarding the Slifer Red Dorm, and Sartyr guarded the Ra Yellow Dorm, Tome returned to her cardshop and cooking for the staff, guards and students.
Judai was wishing that Chazz and Rei were there too, but there was nothing more to be done but to hope for the best. But even after an hour had passed, no-one had seemed to notice the mysterious Object in the sky. The object was travelling to Earth from clearly somewhere far away and although no-one had noticed it, there was no dout that it was heading their way.
At Duelist Kingdom
Meanwhile Samejima was at the Duelist Kingdom. He had been greeted respectfully by Maximillion Pegasus' bodyguard and was escorted into the castle.
Samejima was asked to take a seat in a comfy guest room.
Pegasus was having a online investor Zoom meeting with Seto Kaiba.
As the two business rivals taunt each other, Croquet entered.
"Pardon me sir". He said, "But there is a visitor sir. Principal Samejima . He said its a matter of urgent emergency".
Pegasus sighed. "All right Kaiba Boy I have an urgent meeting with your Chancellor from Duel Academy we better disscus this next time".
"I guess having a meeting with a dweeb like you is just a waste of my time". Kaiba snarled as he ended the meeting,
After that Pegasus turned away and followed Croquet to the guest room where Samejima was passing the time, admiring many portraits across the room. They were of the champion Duelist's around the world that had gained Peagasus admiration, interest and respect. Such as Yugi Muto, Marik Ishtar, Joey Wheeler, Mai Kujaku and including some of Samejima's former students Edo Phoenix, Johan Anderson, Chazz Princeton, Ryo Marufuji and Sho Marufuji.
"My dear Principal Samejima" Pegasus greeted cheerfully as he approached and shook his visitor warmly by the hand, "To what do I owe this pleasure of a vistation?".
"I am afraid its neither a pleasure or passing visit, Pegasus-san". Samejima said dimly, "I am here due to a catastrophe that has recently occurred at Duel Academy."
Peagasus frowned at once. "Perhaps we should sit down to discus this news you are here to reveal".
Samejima and Pegasus took a seat, and Samejima told him all about invasion by Trueman, the returns of Darkness and Chronos' defeat.
"Judai Yuki, Ryo Marufuji, and my successor Asuka Tenjoin are currently protecting the school and they're gathering allies as we speak to face of against any further invasions". Samejima concluded darkly.
Pegasus had listened calmly and was rather full of disdain as he remembered the annoying but determined Chronos and knowing he was trapped in the World of Darkness.
"And you recommend to take further action, Principal?" He asked,
"Indeed". Samejima affirmed.
"Well, before we can do so, there is one another person who needs to be a part of this meeting, Superintendent Kagemaru. Although, I am uncertain if he is still alive. And therefore, the new superintendent will need to be informed all the same."
"Kagemaru is still our Superintendent". Samejima said but his face now wore a foreboding expression which made Pegasus uneasy.
"What is it?" Pegasus asked.
"Before I came to Duelist Kingdom, I went to Kagemaru's retirement home to invite him to this meeting"..
"And?"
"He's gone missing from the home, he's been gone for two days before and that could be around the time Darkness was making its move". Samejima explained.
"Are you saying that Darkness has captured Kagemaru?" Pegasus asked urgently.
"That could be possible". Samejima said grimly.
Pegasus was deeply worried. "Then we have alternative but to take it head on with this Darkness being. And this time, we must ensure he is destroyed for good.".
Samejima nod.
"You can't hold a negative mood, Principal Samejima", Pegasus said shrewdly, "That sort of emotion is what Darkness feels".
Samejima agreed and soon he and Pegasus began to discuss what could be done about the upcoming threats ahead.
With Trueman Somewhere In the Dark.
Trueman has given orders to Darkness's latest prisoner and sent him off when Darkness's voice entered his mind once more.
"An occurrence outside of my design is about to occur at Duel Academy". He growled.
"What do you wish to do about it, sir?" Trueman asked.
"You will return to the Academy". Darkness said demandingly, "And you will locate the source of this abomination in my plans and confine it until I weild it into my Darkness energy".
"Yes, sir". Trueman assured obediently.
With That Trueman dematerialised into Darkness particles and scattered along his way back to Academy.
With Judai and Gang
Judai was talking of gaining more allies out of older and more sstronger students at the Academy, but that decision would be down to Asuka and Samejima upon his return.
"I am not even sure if I want to endanger the students". Judai said worriedly.
"They're already in danger, Aniki". Sho said, "And we are the only ones in the way of them and Darkness".
Before Judai could add on the discussion, Kenzen called out, "Look above to your west, Judai-aniki!"
Judai and Sho looked upwards to their left and saw the object above. It seemed to them like a meteorite flying across the sky downwards, headed directly to the island.
"Its going to crash on us!" Sho cried.
"Darkness!" Judai ccried.
"Run you two!" Kenzen yelled.
The other guards could see the object ahead too.
"Come on!" O'Brien commanded, and he and Johan rushed over.
Junko and Momoe watched in horrar
"What is that?" Sorano cried.
"Could be a meteorite". Fubuki muttered.
"It could be Darkness! I better get going and you guys stay here". Yusuke said as he saw the metorite object.
"I will be going with you?" Ryo insist and when there is a situation like this he is eager to get into action rather than staying in sideline.
Both the 25 year old men and Honest rush to Judai leaving Fubuki and Sorano alone to guard the Obelisk Dorm.
Asuka also saw it and she immediately left the main building and rushed to help Judai.
Fubuki was prayerful that his sister and best friends were safe.
The object was in a distinct Collison course with the Academy. Judai could see Yubel, Winged Kuriboh, Neos, and other Heroes and Neo-Spacians gathering to sheild him, Sho and Kenzen when-
CRASH!
The object landed in the grounds between the forest and the Academy, but it was too close for comfort.
"What is that?" Sho asked nervously.
"Negative in knowledge, Marufuji-Senpai". Kenzen replied.
Asuka, Ryo, Johan, Yusuke, and O'Brien appeared.
"You guys are at least safe!" Johan called.
"What was that meteor?" Asuka asked,
"Likely one of Darkness's tricks" O"Brien said cooly,
"There's only one way to find out". Judai said and he cautiously went to where the object crashed landed
"Be Careful!" Sho and Asuka called together.
Judai reached the specific area and surveyed the damaged ground with care. In sight, there was a 12 foot hole in the ground and he clambered into it,but didn't climb down for the ground was burning hot from the impact of the fallen object, so he dropped, blowing his hands. Right at the centre of the hole, he saw something shining.
"What is this?" He thought.
"It appears to be a useful weapon". Banner said observantly.
"We can sense it". Yubel said, then she placed her hand over the object and a sensation came between them and it stopped smoking. The ground became damp and dang again.
"I cooled the temperature. It is safe to claim it". Yubel said.
Judai scrubbed away some dirt to fully expose the shiny object that crashed. To his suprise, it was a Duel Monster's card, a Spell Card and it had the image of Polymerization card, only brighter and more elegant and stronger than even Super Polymerization.
"A Fusion card?" He exclaimed.
"Take hold of it and let's re-emerge". Yubel cried, "I sense Darkness again!"
Judai didn't need telling twice. He pocketed the card and then he quickly climbed out of the city and the more he was in and raced back to others.
"Someone is coming!" He yelled, "Get Ready".
Duel with Trueman and Judai
As everyone with him primed their Duel Disks and slotted their decks in place, the Darkness particles appeared before them and reassembled into the forms of Trueman again.
"You!" Judai snarled. His eyes were very angry. In fact, they were starting to resemble Haou again much to Yubel's delight.
"I have returned for that card in your pocket, Judai Yuki!" Trueman said stretching his hand out expectantly.
"What does Darkness plan to do with this card Trueman?Why did it land at Duel Academy? If he needs you to collect it, why would he position it where it would fail into my hands? Was this all a trap?" Judai snapped interrogatively.
"Its not a part of the Darkness Design for the planet". Trueman replied.
"You mean...Darkness is not behind this?" Ryo asked.
"That is correct, but it will soon be a contribution to cursed Darkness". Trueman said, "Hand it over, or I shall take it and send anyone who opposes me to the World of Darkness".
"No". Judai said simply.
"You dare stand against me, Judai Yuki?" Trueman taunted, "After what you witnessed before? Your friend of the light fell against me, the Darkness!".
"You are merely a pawn of Mr Darkness, and we together, can easily handle you!". Judai replied, "I challenge you to a duel Trueman!".
And to make himself clear Judai set his LP to 4000 as his eyes turned into Haou.
"You're a fool!" Trueman cackled and his Darkness Duel Disk morphed into shape and his own LP set to 4000.
"Duel".
Turn 1 Judai
"I will start!: Judai said, "I summon Elemental Hero Sparkmen (1600 ATK) in attack mode!"
Trueman was far from impressed.
"Your weakling Hero won't last a turn in the Darkness". He howled.
"We'll see about that" Judai said as he set two cards face down to end his turn.
Turn 2 Trueman
"Yes, we will!" Trueman snarled, and he drew a card.
Judai waited forebodingly.
"I summon Zure, Kinght of Dark World in Attack mode". Trueman grinned as his Dark World minion took the stand with 1800 ATK, "And I will combine it with my Equip Spell, Axe of Despair to give it an extra 1000 ATK.
Zure gained to 2800 ATK
"I attack your Sparkman with my Dark Monster!" Trueman yelled.
Zure leered in for the offensive.
"Not so fast. I activate my Trap, Hero Barrier!" Judai reacted. "It stops your attack should I control an Elemental Hero!".
Trueman sneered. "A mere delay in the inevitable. Just like your worthless Chronos, you will eventually fall to my deck and into the Darkness! I end my turn".
Turn 3 Judai
Judai was angry at the mocking of Chronos and planned to use everything he had in his next turn. And so with that, he drew his card.
"I activate E- Emergency Call!" He declared, "It allows me to add an Elemental Hero to my hand! And I choose Elemental Hero Avian. Next I activate Polymerization! Now I fuse Avian and Sparkman, as well as Elemental Hero Bubbleman in my hand to Fusion Summon Elemental Hero Tempest!"
Tempest appeared with 2800 ATK, equel to that of Zure.
Trueman smirked. "Strong as that monster appears, it's ATK only flash head to head with Zure".
"Not once I activate my second facedown, H-Heated Heart!" Judai replied, "With this Spell, Tempest gains 500 ATK, making him 3300 and strong enough to defeat Zure. And for my next move, I activate O-Oversoul, which lets me Special Summon back my Sparkman! Now Tempest, attack Zure!"
Tempest did so and with a blast Trueman's LP became 3500.
"Its not over yet" Sparkman attack him directly!" Judai ordered.
Sparkman charged into Trueman reducing his LP to 1900.
"Half of Trueman'a LP are gone". Sho cheered.
Kenzen snorted "More than half!"
Asuka frowned. "But that only means that Trueman will become more dangerous and vigilant". She said grimly.
Trueman smirked as Judai set a face down to end his turn.
Turn 4 Trueman
"I draw, and I activate Monster Reborn. I summon back Zure and Tribute it to summon Meteor Dragon in defense mode".
Meteor Dragon appeared and Judai knew what Trueman was planning next.
"I activate Pot of Greed in order to draw two more cards!" Trueman added as he drew and he grinned darkly much like he did before defeating Chronos
Judai and his friends watched with Bates breath.
"I drew Red Eyes Black Dragon and Polymerization!" growled Trueman, "I use the matter to fuse Red Eyes and Meteror Dragon and I Fusion Summon Meteor !"
The ferocious dragon appeared once again with 3500 ATK stronger than either of Judai's E-Heroes..
"Next I activate the last card in my hand...Darkness's Dark Matter!" Trueman cackled.
"Not again!" Judall Asuka, and Sho cried in unison and horrar.
"Now Meteor gains Attack equal to the strongest Fusion Material such as my Red Eyes. So it gains 2400 extra points making it a grand total of 5900!".
Meteor practically towered over both of Judai's monster.
"If Trueman attack Aniki's Sparkman, it's over!". Sho muttered in misery.
"I attack Sparkman with my Dragon!" Trueman laugh evily.
"GOODBYE JUDAI YUKI!"
"NOOO!" Judai's friends cried.
Yubel and Banner looked at Judai and he nodded.
"I activate my Trap, Hero's Guard! Now my Sparkman won't be destroyed by your attack and if I banish Avian from my graveyard, my damage is halved!".
Judai still felt an impact from the attack and it blasted him into the air and into the hole he found the card in.
"Judai!" Everyone cried in unison.
Judai was in pain but was healed slightly by Yubel.
"Rise, Judai, you must win this, my love Haou!" She murmmered affectionately.
Judai did so as his LP fell to 1850 and heard Trueman shout.
"I activate another ability of Darkness's Dark Matter. If my power induced Dragon attacks a monster and the monster remains after damage calculation, then I can deal that monsters ATK as damage to you!"
Judai cursed in fury as more damage surrounded him and some earth collapsed on him, but he struggled out of the hole as his LP dropped rapidly to 250.
"I activate my Trap's other effect. Once it saves my Sparkman, I can draw an additional card".
Judai did and found Elemental Hero Neos. Judai was happy to see him but then he saw something else. On top of his deck was a scrap of paper.
"I end my turn". Trueman sneered satisfactory.
Turn 5 Judai
Judai knew this too card had to be the one that fell down to the earth. He knew now that he had to depend on this card to win but he saw a piece of writing on the scrap of the paper which read in capitals: DON'T LOSE THIS CARD!
Judai realized someone had meant for him or someone else to find this card and so he knew this was the card that help him turn the tables on Truman.
"I draw and you're going down Trueman!" He yelled and took a look at the card: Miracle Dimension Fusion. After reading it, Judai smiled.
"Its over, Trueman!" Judai called, "I activate the Spell, Miracle Dimension Fusion!"
"WHAT" Trueman cried.
"With this Spell card, I can Fusion Summon using cards from anywhere my field, my graveyard, my deck, my hand or even cards that were banished! Now I fuse my Elemental HERO Avian that was banished and my Neos in my hand! I Fusion Summon my newest Fusion Monster Elemental Dimension Hero Avian Neos!"
And from the sky came a strong wind and then a huge new Hero appeared with wings as light as the wind itself and muscles that controlled the air.
"What is that?" Trueman cried.
"My new monster has 3000 ATK and that's not all. It's ability blows away any opposing monster on the field!"
"Impossible!" Trueman cried as his Meteor was destroyed by the strong forces of Elemental Dimension Hero Avian Neo's wings of the wind. Now Trueman's field was empty.
"Now for the denouement!" Judai shouted, "Avian Neos, attack him directly!"
The attack wiped out Trueman's 1900 remaining LP to 0
Trueman was for once very weak, the light was the paleness in his face as the attack rained upon him, but his horror stricken face was replaced with insane cackles of laughter.
"HAHAHAHA!:
Judai and his friends watched as the attack collided with him but as it took effect upon him, Trueman yelled in his laughter, "You'd think it's over!
"Darkness still remains and shall prevail over light ! I was just a servant and only one of them! This is only the beginning, Judai Yuki! And your own Darkness is waiting in the shadows! Hahahana-Yaaaargh!"
Trueman was split into his Darkness particles but the sheer force of light from the attack turned them into dust and then atoms and then they were completely wiped out. Trueman vanished.
Avian Neos faded as the duel ended.
Sho, Kenzen, Asuka, Johan, O'Brien, Ryo, and Yusuke cheered at Judai's victory and the sound of those cheers rang out and resonated across the entire estate.
Fubiki was filled with joy of the sound of his sister's cheer, and was glad to see Yusuke and Ryo are safe as well. Junko and Momoe were relieved that the supposed meteorite did not cause any evil or certain doom in its wake.
But as the cheers sounded on, Judai was not happy, nor was Yubel. She was concerned at Trueman's last words and Judai was fearful of who else was to come up against him. But then something else dasked in his mind. He observed the writing on the paper that came with the card that saved him and his friends and destroyed the servant of Darkness. Someone clearly did not want him to lose this card and it seemed vital to the wars ahead. As Judai's eyes became his own once again, he placed Miracle Dimension Fusion into his deck and the Duel Spirits in his deck seemed to shine with it.
"I will not let you down". He spoke up to the sky, towards the sender of the card, "Who are you".
Somewhere with Darkness
"Trueman is defeated but this isn't his end and my plans shall remain intact. The card and the individual that destroyed him may be a threat and an abomination...But it matters not, Darkness will prevail and I have more than enough servants now".
And as he sai this, Darkness seemed to resonate and grow in his own darkness.
"Now to make things more interesting, and more deadly!" He sneered quietly.
