A/N: This goes with my story 'Legend ofthe Mystics'. Basically, it is a look into the history of the Draconians. As soon as my story is finished, I hope to add a bit more to this.

The History of the Ancient City of Shino and the Draconian Mystics
During the time of Atlantis, the Draconian people were many. Their cities were vast and their knowledge was far more superior than much of todays. A testament to their love of knowledge and learning was the great floating city Shino.
Shino was built at the request of a group of Draconians known as Mystics. The Mystics were healers and teachers, who praticed magic. They had wanted a place where they could research and practice their magic without interfernce. Three members of the three ruling families of the Mystics took the request and blueprints to the Council of Atlantis.
The request was granted and within four years Shino was finished. It was circular in shape and was kept in the air by levi-stones and repulsor lifts powered by energists. It floated in the air above Atlantis, and if the Mystics desired, it could easily be moved. The city was a quarter of the size of Atlantis itself, but was very capable of supporting the people who lived there.
In the very center of the city was a castle like structure of white marble walls and black roofing. This building was where the Mystics studied and taught magic. Scattered around Shino were the homes of those who worked for the Mystics, and those who just chose to make the new city their home. The city was also graced by many large gardens, the best of which was the one that encircled the magic research school. Farms and industries of all sorts also rested on this self-sufficient city.
For thousands of years peace reigned among the unified people of Alantis. However, this peace was soon to be destroyed, shattered , torn by a horrid internal conflict. This conflict was known by many names, but the name most well known was 'The Atlantian Destiny War'. As one can imagine, this conflict began when certain members of the Atlantian goverment authorized the funding of the Destiny project.
The Draconians were studying how to make a beings will into energy. This was done by building a machine known as the Fate Alteration Device. The machine was designed, as the name implies, to alter a beings "fate" by allowing their deepest desires to be granted by a simple wish, or the intervention of another person. What many people did not realize was their free will was being taken from them by allowing another person to completely control their decisions.
For two years the Mystics petitioned the Council of Atlantis to drop the program but to no avail. In the end, the teachers of magic succeeded. The council was greatly angered over the act and launched an assualt against the people of Shino. The civil war that occured ended in the destruction of the Draconian civilization and the birth of another world- Gaea.
