Tender
He heard the sound of his family sleeping their breathing patterns were practically memorized by him.
He had remained awake on several nights, long before any of this happened.
But now he remained awake for a different purpose, he wasn't lusting over Leonardo or being angry at the world.
It had been a quiet a few moths since they had gotten together, and something utterly amazing had happened to them.
Leo slept curled closely to his mate his head pressed against his mate's chest.
Raph hands trailed over Leo's body feeling old scars and his green skin.
He smiled as he eyed his sleeping lover.
Leo murmured something under his breath before opening his eyes and looking up at raph.
"What's wrong?" he asked blurry eyed.
"Nothtin, go back to sleep." He said softly laying his forehead against Leonardo's. "You need the sleep for both of ya"
Leo nodded numbly before closing his eyes once again falling back asleep.
Raph smiled once again rubbing his hand over his mates rounded belly.
Raph couldn't help but feel pride. Inside of Leo was his child. Their child.
What would they name it?
What would it be?
Male or female?
These thought plagued him at night when he lay in bed.
Would their child be like Leonardo responsible, a born leader, some who hid their emotions? tried too hard to care for others.
Would their child be like him? A hot headed, rash, a fighter who hid behind their anger.
Raph sighed lightly a soft smile came over his features.
He knew no matter what the child was like he would love it, so would Leo, they could never not love their child.
He closed his eyes finally falling asleep his body relaxed as leo curled his arms around him.
