Hey guys! So is three months enough time for everyone to get caught up and watch the series finally? I've been wanting to update since last month on my birthday, May 3, but decided to give some people more time to get caught up. If you're still not caught up, then spoilers below. Hope you all enjoyed that finally as much as I did, my thoughts are at the very bottom. Thank you! And also I really needed a long beak. XD Most of you know I experienced something awful but I have been getting a lot better now. Or at least my anxiety isn't through the roof anymore and I don't bother my friends as much any more. XD. To those friends, I promise guys I'll be less anxious and thanks for putting up with me. Love you guys to death!
Ninjatana Warrior- Yeah… Webby is April. Who knew? But hey, I didn't mind it. What I did mind was that Huey SHOULD'VE BEEN THE ONE WHO FOUND THE PAPYRUS! NOT WEBBY! Seriously, it's Hueys season. I understand that he had to share it with Webby but that papyrus moment was too big to not give it to Huey.
Disney Boy - Good theory and you're like 40% correct. The only way they could get inside his mind is through the gems. And I do have a scene similar to the one you're talking about, Abigor being controlled and fighting Lena, but that's for a future chapter. I already gave Lizzette her story, now it's time for Abigor to have his story told. Like your ideas and sorry I couldn't talk to you for a while. I wasn't in the right mindset but I am feeling a lot better now. Looking forward to reading the articles you sent me!
Angelwings2002 - Awe thank you. I choose to take a three month hiatus for a mental health break and to let people catch up with the series too. So I'm happy you can wait because writing stories isn't easy! You have to have a strong passion for it. What did you think of the final episode?
Unknown - Thank you! I am a lot more sane now. XD I was an anxious mess! Jordan, Gabby, Chris, Christian, Shell, Claudia, Tiffany and Maria, if you're reading this, thanks for being the best of the best and caring so much about what I was feeling. You guys are the best and I adore you all! And yep! Ducktales has that happy effect! And I'm looking forward to the Darkwing Duck reboot too! I hope you enjoyed the final. Want to hear what you think of it. And yeah, every bully/villain has their story to tell. Honestly I'm having a blast creating a backstory for him. Because I get to torture and traumatize an innocent soul as much as I want! Just kidding! I'm a strong believer that people are bad because of some form of trauma and can change no matter how bad they are. As long as they put in the work to change and become a bit more open to others. Originally I was going to make Abigor a completely irredeemable jerk that lets himself become insane. And while that was the path I was going with, I decided around ch 20 that I should change that. Yes! Lena is #1 in knowing about change. She was created to be evil and destroy. Was created by a purely evil witch and still came out good. That's why I paired her up with Abigor. Boyd is cute either way! No matter what! And yeah, you'll see what I have planned for the two. Again, I'm a strong believer that anyone can change with the right people around you. And you'll see what happens to her. I'm not showing any mercy to her because hey, she still did some manipulative things in the beginning of this story. For a good reason yes but no one should go unpunished for their behaviour. And yes, no pressure! And I'm not sure, I can't hear anyone voicing him except for his original voice actor. Plus I'm not good with casting. If I was in the entertainment industry I would be in the screen writing or lighting area. And Poe will most likely be in the sequel. Not in this one.
Boss Teal - I love the Bufflone song from Silly Songs with Larry. It was the catchest one in my opinion. XD And I will say that Abigors character is partly inspired by someone close to me, Chris. He's gay and Abigor is what Chris would be if he was, well, the opposite.
Lilbree - Awe thank you. It means alot when people are happy from what I create. It's honestly one of the things that keeps me going in life. Making people happy. And I'm sure Ducktales has a special place in everyone's heart. I'll never forget the first day I was introduced to Ducktales. My mom was at a garage sale when I was like 8. She found a VHS tape of "The Lost Lamp" and screamed like a little girl. She handed me the movie and told me to hang onto it like my life depended on it. XD When we started to watch it my mom wouldn't stop fangirling over everything. The moment Launchpad showed up she just screamed at the top of her lungs saying how much she loves him. That day I was in love with Donald Duck and started a collection off of him. I have comics from the 1940s! So yeah, being the hard cord fan I am, it was easy to create a fanfiction on this show and throw in details of the original. And I adore creating new characters so I'm glad you're enjoying Lizzette and Abigor right now. I wasn't expecting someone to love them just yet. They're midway in their redemption arch but I'm glad to hear you love them! And thanks, that's flattering that you believe I'm good enough for Disney. Thank you!
GiddyReflections - Thank you, complements mean a bunch! And thoughts are below.
Guest - Yep! We can ship what we like. I mean it's not like we knew Webby was related to Scrooge right? I'm joining the Au part of the fandom. Where Webby isn't related to them because I already have a bunch of stuff that includes Dewey and Webby. No one should feel ashamed of their triplete x Webby ship. We can't predict the future right?
RANDOM - Ooooooof course it's the classic Cinderella rout. Love it! Nothing wrong with the classic right. I just hope Soph, Rebey and TG will see this one day.
Average Everyday Sane Psycho - It's ok! Things get buried in my inbox too. Sometimes there are things I wish would stay buried in my in box.
Ok! Here we go!
"Is she going to be ok?" Boyd watched in worry as Persephone took Lizzettes temperature. The queen of the underworld looked at the glass thermometer and shook her head disappointed.
"I'm afraid she has a fever. Strange really, she seemed just fine yesterday." The goddess commented as she placed an ice pack over the girl's head. Lizzette moaned in some pain, a few hot tears escaping her eye's. She let out a rough cough, covering her mouth under her blanket.
"Here." Boyd was quick to hand her a glass of water.
"Thank you." Lizzette said in a raspy voice. She gulped down on the water, trying not to hurt her sore throat.
"You most likely have a cold. It's best if you take a nap, just look at those eye bags. You look like death itself." Persephone pointed out. It was true, her eye's had dark circles around them and her eyelids were droopy. A mass amount of blush crossed over her face, almost taking over her white completion.
"I'll try to sleep, aunt." She coughed out, covering her mouth with the blanket again. The goddess nodded before standing up. She signaled for Boyd to follow her out of the room but before the robot could even get up, he felt a tug on his wrist, "Boyd, wait. I need to talk to you….. alone."
Lizzette looked over at her aunt, giving her a look that asked her if she could leave. Persephone gave a slow nod before closing the door.
"What's wrong? Are you uncomfortable? Mama Drake has some really great recipes that can help any kind of illn…."
"I need you to get Abigor for me." Lizzette coughed out, covering her mouth with her blanket.
"What's wrong?" Boyd took notice that she started to cough even harder once Persephone was gone. Lizzette let out some loud wheezing and gagging sounds worrying the robot boy even more. He got on his feet looking around for anything that might help but Lizzette just pulled him back on his seat.
"I'm not sure, but I haven't been able to sleep because of some nightmares." Lizzette relaxed her voice a bit, taking deep breaths to calm down her beating heart.
"Is that all?" Boyd asked, still feeling scared for her well being.
"No, every time I take a nap I get these dreams that don't feel like dreams. They feel like memories. Ever since I talked with Coral they've been happening. And I have a hint as to why," Lizzette pulled her blanket down to reveal she had a napkin in hand. Baby blue liquid filled her napkin causing fear to fill the boy.
"What is that?" Boyd tried to get a closer look but Lizzette covered it up as if she was ashamed.
"I don't know, it looks like one of my potions but I don't recognize this color. The thing is, my potions have side effects if the user drinks more than their body can handle." Lizzette explained.
"Like what?" Boyd had to know more even though he was feeling nervous.
"Different potions have different side effects. Like too much of a love potion might make someone love you to the point of death. They'll ignore their health for you. Truth one might make you say the truth in over exaggerated ways. So it's always safe to take potions in small doses. But this potion, it's new. I can't find out what it is or what side effects it might have. But I do know all potions have the same side effect, they can drain your heart dry from love if you drink too much. I'm either going crazy or this potion is some kind of memory erasing potion. I need Abigor because if anyone can tell me what happened, he can."
"Ok, this is a lot to take in," Boyd tried to remain calm as he got on his feet and rushed his way to the door," I'll be back in a few hours!"
Lizzette gave a nod as she watched him leave her room. She was about to lay back down until Boyd opened her door again.
"Just wait right here!" He made sure to tell her. Before she could answer he closed the door again. Lizzette gave a small chuckle before placing her head back on the pillow. Only to sit back up when Boyd opened the door once again, "And keep breathing and hydrated! Mama Drake says dehydration can be dangerous."
"I'll keep that in mind." Lizzette agreed, allowing him to close the door again. Not even a second later he came back in with a cup and pitcher of water.
"Just call Persephone if you need anything ok?" He said in a slight panic.
"Boyd!" Lizzette was about to push him out of the door herself.
"Right! Get Abigor! I'll be back, I promise." Boyd finally ran off to accomplish his mission. He clumsily slammed his head against the closed door before opening it and leaving in a rush.
Lizzette rolled her eyes in amusement with a warm smile. She pulled her blanket closer and poured herself some water, until she let out a strong cough making her spill some of it. She grabbed her napkin and spat out the blue liquid that was inside her. Her smile died down and her eyes began to water as she saw how much liquid came out.
How much did I drink? Is it enough to… I can't think that way. Abigor will tell me what happened.
The terrified girl thought to herself. She couldn't believe this was happening, if it's as bad as she thinks it is then she might as well say some last words.
Other Side
"The mansion?" Gandra looked out of the car window. She had to drive Goldie and Louie to wherever Goldie told her to, but she wasn't expecting Goldie to guide her to Scrooge Mcducks. Mansion.
"So, what was the point of kidnapping me if you're just going to return me?" Louie glanced over at Goldie, his chin resting on the window ledge.
"I didn't kidnap you," Goldie tied her blond hair into a tight bun, "I simply picked you up, took you away from your family for reasons important to me."
"Right," Louie rolled his eyes before sitting back and asking, "Why are we here?"
"If my prediction is right, certain items seem to jog our memories. Gems or headphones, what if the same applies to your uncle Scrooge and the rest of the family?"
"So we're just going to go in and show them items?" Gandra asked, a little nervous. Ok very nervous, not only is she the one suffering with the most detailed visions but she's never been to the mansion before. Or has she?
Gandra swore she saw a vision flash at the very corner of her eye. Where the mansion was at, she got a quick glance of a vision at night. Her and another brown duck stood at the stairs and talked, a pair of metal bars in her hands while the duck was inside a gizmo suit. Gandra snapped her gaze back down at the steering wheel, her heart beginning to race once more.
"That's what I'm talking about!" Goldie chimed in excitement and slammed her hand onto Gandras shoulder. The chicken jumped from the sudden contact and let out a loud scream.
"Don't do that!" Gandra told her but Goldie wasn't fazed.
"You just had another vision didn't you?" The golden haired duck smiled ear to ear. Gandra wanted to deny it but knew right away that she couldn't hide it anymore. The more visions she got, the jumpier she got. She placed her forehead on the wheel in distress giving Goldie her answer, "The mansion triggered another vision. We have to go in there now."
"Look lady, Uncle Scrooge will happily let me in the mansion, but he might want you out. And Gandra too since she's a little-" Louie made a circle over his ear to signal she was crazy.
"Oh please," Goldie laughed off his statement, "He'll let me in one way or another."
"How?" Gandra mumbled in both fear and confusion.
Ten minutes later and Goldie had crashed a window open with a tree branch.
"Easy, we invite ourselves in." Goldie crawled in with ease.
"I can't tell if you're the crazy one or if this one is the crazy one." Louie commented. Gandra helped him through the window while Goldie pulled him in.
"The only crazy thing here is this blasted world." Goldie placed the young boy down and helped Gandra in, "So here's the plan, look around the mansion and search for anything that might cause some triggers. And don't get caught!"
"Oh I'm sure Uncle Scrooge won't notice the shattered window." Louie pointed out sarcastically.
"Not if we move fast enough. Gandra, westside. Louie east side. Me north side. Got it?" Goldie asked. Louie opened his mouth to say one more thing but Goldie interrupted him, "Perfect! Let's roll!"
"Wait I-" Louie tried to say something but Goldie was gone. The young boy looked up at Gandra but she just shrugged.
"I guess we're going with this plan." She said before walking away. Louie let out a sigh of defeat and went the way Goldie told him to.
Submarine
It was the afternoon and still no sign of Dewey. Della was looking down at a map while trying to keep her head up. She rested her elbows on the table and placed her head on the palms of her hands. Her eyes were droopy and heavy; she could barely keep them awake.
"Don't worry Dewey," Della yawned out, "We'll find you in time."
Donald was sitting on the other side of the table feeling sorry for his sister. She was trying so hard to not fall asleep but it wasn't good for her to stress herself out. No parent should lose their kid, let alone lose one to a maniac witch. The sailor looked down at his hands where he held a journal tight. If Daisy was telling the truth then this journal should have all the answers.
Gems? Other side? Imposters?
Donald thought to himself. Hr had already read half of the journal and was as terrified as his wife. It was so easy for Magica and Merlock to over take the family. Took them some years yes but he had to hand it to them, this plan was carefully thought out. He got up from his seat and made his way to the restroom.
"Again?" The blue bird noticed.
"That's like the 5th time in the past 90 minutes. Are you feeling ok Donald?" Della asked, still half awake.
"Yes," Donald answered slightly too quickly. Thankfully his body language remained the same and nothing too noticeable happened, "Just feeling sick to the stomach from worrying so much."
"Oh Donald," The blue bird signed with what seemed like empathy for the sailor, "I promise you we will find your kid in no time. Trust me on that."
Donald didn't give a reaction or an answer. He just walked into the restroom and made sure it was locked. He opened up the journal again and started where he stopped off.
"Once phase one is complete, the gems must be replaced with blood gems. These will take time to over take the body but once they do there is no way of reversing it. The one being consumed will remain on the other side until the day they die." Donald read the journal to himself, making sure his voice was low. He didn't want anyone to hear him, not even Della. He wanted to know everything before telling her. Page by page, he read every word carefully. Making sure he didn't leave out a single detail.
"Phase two began the moment we got Deweys blood. We can now creat blood stones for the triplets…" Donald kept reading. With every word he read his heart sunk lower and lower. He could feel his hands begin to shake but he kept himself steady enough to read. Merlock, Magica, gems, he didn't know how much more he could take until he fainted from shock. At the very last few pages, he took a deep breath in, preparing himself for the worst. His eyes scanned across the pages, taking in all the words. Only this time, his eyes began to grow while his pupils shrink in fear.
"Your brother is behaving rather….. Out of character wouldn't you say?" The bluebird asked the mother. Della let out another yawn before looking his way.
"Donald is Donald, he always gets over protective of the ones he loves." Della answered, still a little drowsy. She got out of her seat and made her way to the restroom door, "Wonder what's taking him so long."
She gave a light knock to the metal door as she called his name. Nothing but silence. Confused, Della gave another knock but a tad bit harder this time.
"Donald? You ok?" Della asked, pressing her ear against the door. The door suddenly opened letting gravity make her fall in. Donald closed the door and shoved the journal to his sister.
"Look at the journal." Donald mumbled as quietly as he could. He couldn't let the blue bird in gold colored clothing hear him.
"Donald are you-" Della tried to make sure her brother was sane but Donald shoved the journal closer to her.
"Check the journal." He said in a more worried and scared tone. Della glanced at the journal Donald was placing in her hands and nothing but confusion filled her mind.
"Isn't this the journal Daisy-"
"Yes it is now, read it." Donald tried to tell her again. Still confused, Della slowly opened the journal to the first page and began to read.
"We found him!" They heard the bluebird cry out. Della didn't even read the first sentence. The moment she heard those words she gasped and placed the journal back in Donalds arms and ran out. She ran next to the blue bird and looked down at his navigation.
"Dewey Duck should be in some underwater caves near Egypt." The blue bird cheerfully told her. Della couldn't help but let out a squeal of excitement. She hopped up and down barely able to contain it.
"Can't this thing go any faster?" Della was about to take the steering wheel but the blue bird playfully shoved her off and laughed.
"Get some sleep dear Della, you and your brother had a rough night. I'll wake you up when we make it." He assured the lady. Della gave an excited nod and ran back to Donald.
"Isn't this great! Dewey is so close and we'll finally be able to face Magica once and for all! Can't wait until I see my-" Della took notice at Donalds worried face right away. Her smile and gleaming eyes slowly dialed down. She didn't understand why her brother looked so horrified at the news. Before she could even ask him what's wrong, Donald grabbed her hand and placed the journal in it. He glanced over at the bluebird to make sure he wasn't looking. Della was even more confused, wondering why the journal was so important. Donald placed his hand on his sister's shoulder, bringing himself a bit closer to her.
"Be careful." He whispered. Dellas heart began to race when she realized this meant they were in trouble.
Underworld
"He's gone?" Lena slammed her hands against her face and paced back and forth. The two made it back to where Louie should be, but to their horror, Louie was no longer there. Lena could feel herself becoming angrier and her heart pounding against her chest from all the anger she felt, "Of course he's gone! Why wouldn't he be?"
"This doesn't make sense. Why would uncle Zeus take Louie?" Abigor was just as panicked as the girl was. He stood frozen in his spot trying to process everything.
"What do you mean this doesn't make sense? You were the one who gave all the details to him. You were the one that said if he can help he'll get his revenge on Scrooge. Of course he would take Louie! Come on!" Lena grabbed Abigor by the back collar of his jacket and dragged him behind her.
"Come where?" Abigor asked, surprised by Lenas strength.
"We're going to ask your uncle Hades to send us where Boyd is. He's going to fly us back to Duckburg and I'm about to beat myself some parasite gems at the mansion! Or so help me, I will die trying!" Lena was stomping her way while Abigor loosened up his jacket so he would stop choking from the girl's grasp.
"What use will beating them do?" Abigor asked, slipping out of his jacket.
"I don't know and I don't care! I'm tired of these mind games and it's about time we took action!" Lena had clearly made up her mind and she was determined to accomplish her decision. Abigor ran up in front of her and held up his hands to stop her.
"These gems are dangerous. They're strong, they're sneaky and tricksters..." Lena threw his own jacket to his face and walked past him.
"So am I!" She declared, her voice echoing in the caves. Abigor clumsily followed her out of the caves, nervous at what she said she was going to do. Can she really fight these gems? Is she willing to? Lena made it to the main room where the doors out of the Underworld should be, "Can you call your uncle?"
"I can, but I need to make sure this is something you really want to do because….."
"Does it look like I have any doubt?" Lena snapped at him. Abigor was getting tired of this girl being so stubborn.
"These gems are powerful beings. They can break you down emotionally and mentally, heck, I'm surprised they haven't gotten to you."
"I know what I'm up against. I faced my shadow aunt, I faced rolling rock balls in an abandoned metro train, I faced being trapped in the shadow realm for months! I swear my life is a curse sometimes! So when I say I'm willing to fight these gem things, I am willing to fight no matter what." Lena raised her voice clearly from frustration. It was Abigors turn to shrink in her presents as her eyes glowed purple from her magic. He didn't need to keep asking anymore, she was certain she would do this.
"Ok, I'll get my uncle Hades to tell us where Boyd is." Abigor assured her.
"No need, I'm right here." As if on cue, Boyd flew down behind the duo.
"Boyd! Yes! We need you to take us back to Uncle Scrooge's mansion. We need to get those gems and destroy them before the plan can go any further." Lena explained. Boyd's happy expression soon melted into a worried one. Lena didn't seem pleased with this, her mind immediately thinking the worst.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"Lizzette needs Abigor right now." Boyd revealed. Lena let out a rough sigh, her hands slapping over her forehead.
"We need to go back now. Can't she wait?" She asked with some desperation.
"Lizzette is sick. She's coughing up blue liquid and she needs Abigor help." Boyd said. The moment he did, Abigirs eyes widen in fear.
"She coughing up blue liquid?" He asked in shock. Boyd looked back at him in worry and nodded. Abigors face began to show nothing but fear. He brought hus his hand up to his teeth and bit down from how nervous he was feeling, "I need to help her."
"You need to come with me to bring back everyone and end Magica. That's how we can help her." Lena tried to tell him.
"No, you don't understand. She shouldn't be coughing up the potions, that's a bad sign." Abigor tried to explain, "She could be sick, or worse."
"What are you going to do about it? It was her choice to take that potion." Lena asked, getting annoyed and more desperate. She needed help rescuing her friends, she couldn't just let him leave her alone. Not now when things were getting so serious.
"She's in this situation because of me. I have to help her." Abigor was about to leave but Lena held onto his arm.
"Isn't stopping those gems and Magica more important? If we stop them then we can help Lizzette," Lena tried to explain. She didn't want to come out as selfish but the fear of losing everyone she ever knew and loved began to get to her mind, "We can focus solely on Lizzette once the bigger issue is done."
Abigor looked back at Boyd who seemed just as worried for Lizzette as he did. Lena was right, Magica and Merlock were the main reason they were in this mess, they were the bigger threat. But he couldn't leave Lizzette alone, sick and weak. He felt Lena tug onto his arm again, trying to convince him to leave with her. Abigors body tensed, words echoing in his mind.
Be a man. I'm just a kid. Be a man. I'm just a kid…..
"Abigor, we need to go, come on!" Lena was getting more desperate as the seconds went by. The boy snapped out of his thoughts and looked at the crying girl that was desperately pulling onto him, "You know these gems better than I do and I can't do this alone. You want to redeem yourself and prove you're not a coward, now's the chance."
"Ok!" Abigor finally made his decision. He looked back at Boyd with a worried look on his face, "Boyd take us back to Duckburg and once you drop us off, go to Lizzette. Tell her I couldn't make it, ok?"
Boyd felt hurt when he decided on this. He wasn't there when his cousin started feeling sick or when she started to cough out blue liquid. Feeling sad at his choice, Boyd gave a weak nod.
"Perfect, let's go." Lena pulled onto Abigors arm so he could lead the way. The three ran off, hoping they could still make it in time before Magicas plan advanced more.
Abigor on the other hand, was feeling his heart sink deeper in his stomach. Was he making the right choice? Is this the type of man his mother always wanted?
"You must be Lucas." A lady at the door of a mansion greeted a young boy. A duck no older than 14 looked up at the lady, holding a small bouquet of peonies in his hands. He was very neat and posh. His red plaid shirt tucked neatly into his shorts. Black hair ruffled against his forehead and his brown feathers smoothed out.
"Laloo, my name is Laloo." The young duck politely corrected her. He handed the lady the flowers which she gladly took. A wide smile across her beak as she looked down at the duck with a warm smile.
"Lucas sounds more masculine." She comments in a kind tone. She stepped aside for Laloo to come in, "So Lucas, you here to see Lizzette?"
"She's in Duckburg today?" Laloo's dark eyes lit up in happiness.
"Oh yes, she should be up in the guest room. She's visiting for the weekend." The lady handed Laloo a few flowers and gave him a wink, "Don't be shy, she loves flowers."
"Thank you Mrs. Quakopoulos." Laloo smiled as he took the few flowers she gave him and left.
Once he was out of sight, she looked down at the peonies. Her warm smile never fading as she gracefully walked into the kitchen. Making her way to the counter near the sink. Down below she stepped on a pedal opening up a trash can and let go of the flowers. She dusted her hands and made sure to wash them thoroughly.
In Lizzettes room, the girl was laughing and giving Laloo a tight hug.
"I'll make sure to leave these in Abigors room." Lizzette told Laloo as she placed the flowers in a vase.
"Where is Abigor?" The young boy asked, adjusting his circle glasses after Lizzette nearly knocked them down from the hug.
"Training with his dad. We can wait for him out in the garden, his lesson should be over in half an hour." Lizzette explained.
Inside a training room, Abigor was struggling to use his fire against his own father.
"Come on kid!" His dad shouted as he threw a punch. Abigor swiftly stepped aside and threw a fiery punch against his dad. The older duck blocked his move and pushed his son to the ground.
"You really expect to be a man when you can't even create your flames to burn my feathers?" His father gave an amused chuckle.
"Hey, I just turned 14 a week ago. Uncle Hades barely gave me the ember." Abigor got back on his feet while making sure his ember was still around his neck. He smiled back at his father who seemed just as amused, "Besides, I'm not used to controlling my fire. I'm scared I might hurt someone or myself."
"Well your formation was horrendous." The lady came into the training room and walked up to the two males. She glared at both of them, making Abigor shrink in fear. He never liked it when his mother gave that icey look. He should be used to it by now for how often she holds that look. Her bright blue eyes observed her son from head to toe, "How can your father make a man out of something so, oh what's the word? Cowardice?"
"Bridgette, he did fine. He just needs to learn how to heat up his fire and control it." His father tried to defend their son but the moment Bridgett raised her hand he shut his beak.
"Thanatos, my dearest husband, you must be honest with Abigor. Communication is the key, you know." Bridgette said in her usual kind tone.
"Yes dear." Thanato sighed. He placed his hands in his pockets and stepped back to let his wife do the work. He didn't want to argue with her, she usually took control of many situations and he trusted her with that control.
"Now Abigor, the truth hurts, but you must hear this." Bridgette kneeled a bit to be at her son's eye level. Unlike her, Abigors blue eyes were calm and soothing to look at, "You must learn to be strong not just physically but menatlly. Show no fear and throw your fire around like it's the last thing you'll ever do. Destroy any obstacles that may be in your way until you finally reach that goal and protect those close to you! That's what being a man is all about."
"I don't want to hurt anyone, mother." Abigors eyes softened as hers got even colder. She maintained a soft smile though and spoke in a kind tone.
"Don't think of it as something bad, some people deserve to be hurt. Now, put on a brave face for me, please baby?" Bridgette said in a gentle tone. Abigor glanced at his father who simply shrugged. He looked back at his mother and gave a firm nod. Bridgette's smile grew even more as she took a few steps back and looked at her husband.
"Don't hold back." She told him but Thanatos gave an unknowing look as she slowly made it past him.
"Hun, I can't. He's just a kid. He shouldn't be going through any rough training-"
"I said, don't hold back." She glanced slightly back at him, her piercing blue eyes nearly enough to freeze him in fear, "Remember Thanatos, I'm sick of arguing with you about this."
The man let out a loud sigh and looked down at his son. His comforting dark eyes went from soft to as cold as his wifes, "Ready son?"
Abigor didn't answer. He just gulped down hard as he looked up at the giant of a man he called his father. He got in a fighting position all while his mother walked closer to the door. The second Bridgette placed her hand on the knob she heard the first punch get thrown. The sounds of her son struggling to keep up with his dad was music. To her, this meant that Abigor was being pushed to his limits. Getting stronger with every hit his father threw.
Later that day, Bridgette watched a limousine come past the gates from her room. The sun was setting and the sky was becoming darker. She had a frown on her face as she watched her son and niece hop out. In his hand Abigor was holding onto a piece of paper. Abigor looked back inside the limo where Laloo was and seemed happy. Like the happiest boy alive in fact. The mother shook her head at this before her husband interrupted her thoughts.
"Laloo is a good boy," Thanatos told her as he placed his hands on her shoulders. He gave her a peck on her cheek but she remained still like ice, "He seems to make Abigor really happy too."
"Abigor doesn't need someone like Lucas in his life. He's only known him for 7 months. And besides, Lucas is moving to St Canard this month. Good thing too, that way he'll finally get away from our son."
"What do you have against Laloo? He's never done anything to you?" Thanatos tried to tell his wife, his voice genuinely curious.
"He's filling Abigors head with useless information and stupid emotions. Acting like a child and being emotional towards him. If we want Abigor to advance and fully fill his role in this family he has to stop hanging around that Lucas kid."
"Are we sure it's Abigors well-being we're talking about here?" Thanatos tried to clear up. His wife shot him a sharp look that made him flinch as if he was stabbed. He let go of her shoulders and took a seat on the bed, "Laloo is good for Abigor. I know you may not think so but this could be a great opportunity for Abigor to explore a side to him he's never explored before."
"There's nothing for him to explore," Brigette mumbled under her breath, "He can't fall for something like this and ruin his role as the future man of this family."
"Laloo won't make Abigor less of a man-" Thanatos tried to tell her but she gave another moan of annoyance. Her body tensed for a quick moment before melting into a more relaxed position. She slowly looked over at her husband and took a seat next to him. Letting her hand ruffle his hair with a kind smile.
"I'm not arguing this with you. I want you to trust me on this and let me shape our son into the man I know he can be. Can you respect that decision? Please?"
Thanatos let out a deep sigh and glanced out the window. He didn't want to upset his son, but he respected his wife too much. He looked deep in her eye's and gave a firm nod, confirming he trusted her completely.
"Good decision." Brigette smiled and placed a kiss on his forehead.
I'm hoping you're all liking this story because we're already passing the midway point! I estimated this story should be 50 chapters at max. So 20 left if everything goes well. And if anything feels like a loose end, I'll most likely be doing a one shot about it. Any scenes or concept that I deleted here will have its own focus in a one shot when this story is done. For example, I originally had the Greek Gods family reunion in the story but it got cut off because it seemed too random to have some competitions arch in the story when the plot is starting to pick up. Then a sleepover involving Lizzette trying to win over the teens' trust. All these deleted scenes and concepts will have their own separate chapter when this story is done. So the adventure isn't ending within 20 chapters alone!
So my thoughts on the final! It was great! I loved it! We got to see the original three fight one more time, Launchpad had his epic moment in the most Launchpad way. XD Crashing the Gizmo suit. And the fact the Gizmo suit has a mind of its own "Eh, good enough." XD And I love Fenton and Drake. Fenton is such a super romantic and I love it! He wanted to save everyone, but Gandra never left his mind and that's just super cute in my eyes! Then we have Drake being the show off, child like spirit idiot he is. XD This dude is such a good friend to Fenton and loves Fenton to the point where he refuses to believe he's GizmoDuck! Drake! Why? Just why?! It's hard to believe Fenton is GizmoDuck but it's easy to believe Launchpad is GizmoDuck? Please oh please tell me this will be a running gag in the Darkwing Duck reboot! Please! Drake in that denial stage. Basically! I love his interactions with Fenton! I'm in love with these two and screamed when they worked together! Now what I didn't like was that Webby is Scrooge's daughter. To me, that felt unnecessary. Scrooge was already a father figure to her so making her his biological daughter didn't seem necessary. It didn't change anything for me because they already had that relationship. Also I think Huey should've been the one who got the papyrus. He's a direct descendent of Scrooge and, no offense Huey I love you, easy target for Bradford. Like Bradford had Huey in his evil manipulative grasp and had him convinced he was good! Huey was right there for the taking and Bradford just wants him to talk to Webby? You're just complicating things for yourself! But other than those two things I adored them finally!
See you guys later!
