Ssssooooooo, I think it's time I opened up about what happened to me. As far as you all know, I experienced something traumatizing and got sick. So here's the story.

I got Covid one day and was scared. But I recovered and was happy. A week later, I moved in with someone (I'm keeping him a secret so if he reads this, he won't get mad at me) because I didn't want him to be alone during covid….. He isn't the easiest man to get along with. A week into living with him and I got sick right away from all the stress and pressure. Any examples? In summary, if I wasn't perfect he would hit me, slap me, ect. Even if I flipped the tortilla the way he didn't like he would slap my hands. It became so unbearable that I started to get sick. I couldn't eat, sleep, or even breathe. My heart/chest/throat would tighten and I couldn't breath. I went from weighing 145 pounds to 115 in a week and a half. I took painkillers but I would throw those up too. I became weak and would black out. I was in denial and told myself "This has nothing to do with him." And blamed it on Covid or anything else. Yes I'm ashamed that I wanted to convince myself that and still am. It got so bad that I was sure I was going to die. I had to say some last words to everyone. But after speaking to friends and family that he said to never talk to, they told me the same thing: get out or I will die. So I left him and moved back with my mom. I stopped throwing up my food and gagging around late March, early April. I was finally at a healthy weight in June or July. I went to the hospital where they gave me medication and a diet to follow. Still following that diet today. Am I any better? 80% yes. I still feel my throat and chest tighten to which the doctors recommend seeing a therapist for panic attacks/anxiety. I'm also sad that I lost friends because of this. Around three. But hey, life goes on. If there's a message I can send to anyone after this experience, don't feel like you owe anyone anything. I moved in with him thinking I owed him. He was always controling/sexest/homophobic/ but I thought he needed someone to love him. So I went back thinking I owed him my love. Now not only am I paying the price, but my little brother as well. But you know what, I made mistakes, and I will own them. I take responsibility for making the stupidest decision in my life. I will never let anyone push me or my brother around like that again. And I'm lucky my brother feels the same.

As a thank you to all my readers/fans/friends, here are the sneak peeks to the next chapter AND future works. Along with some deleted scenes. You will be surprised how many scenes I had to cut out.

Sneak Peeks

"Ok, so now that mom is calmed down and promised to not tell Webby about the proposal, shall we go back to the living room and hear the rest of the story?" Dewey flopped onto the chair.

"Give Beakley a few more minutes of rest, besides the lights aren't on yet." Louie reminded them.

"Speaking of which, why is it taking so long to fix the lights?" Huey thought out loud.

Up on the roof, a certain scientist was hanging off the edge, holding onto dear life while his co-workers held onto the rope and screamed at each other.

"I told you to check if it was secured!" Gyro felt like he was drowning when all the rain water fell down the slope of the roof and onto his face.

"It was secured!" Gandra answered back, "You're just too heaveeeeey!"

In a blink of an eye, the raven haired scientist slipped and fell down the slope as well. Leaving no one but Fenton and Scrooge to hold onto the rope.

"Blather blather skite," Fenton mumbled to himself as he tried to lock his arm on the rope.

########

"Ok ok, slow down Laloo," the group heard Boyd talk on the phone in the hall, "The plane got delayed, that much I know, but what happened? And why is Lizzette screaming?"

"That's Abigor, honey," Lizzettes voice was on speaker, "Someone took his wheelchair just because they were tired."

"You think just because I'm bound to a chair I'm weak?" Abigors voice boomed on the speaker as if he was right next to it, "You man child! Get off!"

The sound of Abigors anger was followed by a loud scream of pain.

"He got it back." Lizzette commented as if it was nothing.

"Stupid guy. If his feet hurt that much he should've sat on the floor." Abigors voice mumbled in frustration.

######

"Hey don't look at me." Louie looked at his siblings, "As far as Goldie told me, we're in some reality where our lives are perfect."

"Uh huh," Dewey looked at his green brother as if he grew a second head. Dewey leaned to Huey; a hand over his beak and spoke in a loud whisper, "Do you think Uncle Scrooge will pay for a therapist?"

#######

"Where are they keeping Violet?" Lena walked across the halls with Abigor behind her. Abigor swore he was going to tackle this girl. She was walking around this mansion as if she owned the place. There's dangerous gem demons walking around yet she acts like she doesn't care.

"Can you at least keep your voice down?" Abigor made a harsh whisper. Lena just gave a low growl in response. She was tired of running, hiding and stalling. Time to take action is here and she isn't waiting another second for 'the perfect moment'.

"Look, this place is crawling with evil. We need to stay hidden without attracting attention-" Abigors plead was interrupted by his worst nightmare.

"Who are you?" Gyros' voice boomed across the hall. Abigor flinched in fear but tried to hide it. He couldn't show weakness, not now. Things were heating up and he had to take action. His hands sparked with flames, warming up for a fight. Only….

A loud crash was heard along with a slamming door. Abigor looked at the hall the voice came from and saw Lena had used her powers to throw him in the closet.

"Huh." Abigor was impressed. Lena stomped her way to the closest door. Not wanting to lose sight of the girl, and figuring he would be safer, Abigor stayed close behind.

#######

Wasting no time, Boyd ran back into the house, nearly knocking down Persephone.

"Whoa, where's the fire?" The lady asked, concerned about the robot's jitters.

"Nothing," Boyd was too quick to answer. He remembered how Lizzette didn't want to worry anyone but his forced smile was a dead give away, "Just….. happy to be back and see Izzy again. "

The lady raised an eyebrow at the boy's horrible attempt to lie. Placing a fist on her hip she said, "Then may you tell me why Izzy is throwing up in the bathroom?"

"She's what?" If Boyd had blood to drain, his face would've gone pale.

Inside her room, Boyd ran in to see the bathroom door was wide open. The girl laying on the ground having trouble breathing.

"It's getting worse?" Boyd ran in and helped her sit up. He nearly pulled his hands away when he felt how hot her skin was. He wrapped his arm around her back and picked her up. She was like a lifeless rag doll, head hung low and arms dangling on her sides. He placed her back on her bed where she looked almost lifeless.

"Can you say something?" Boyd gasped.

"Something isn't right." Lizzette mumbbled and tried to get up. Boyd sweetly pushed her back in bed, making sure she didn't hurt herself, "I feel like there's a hole. In my brain, my memories. Something isn't whole."

######

"Okokokokok," Della pressed her ear against the bathroom door, making sure the bird couldn't hear them, "The moment we're at the surface we jump him."

"That's crazy, we need to run." Donald tried to tell his twin.

"Run? You would think you're tired of running," Della was confused by his words, "We have done nothing but run. We've been hiding for seven years. It's time for action."

"No, it's time to run. Running from a fight you know you can't win isn't cowardly, it's smart." Donald argued back.

"We have to fight." Della raised her voice a bit.

"We have to run." Donald matched her tone.

"Fight!" Della raised her voice over his.

"Run!" Donald tried to top her voice.

"Fight!" Della didn't back down.

"Run!" Donald felt the same as her.

At the front, the bird in gold was looking at the bathroom door with nothing but confusion.

######

"Hey!" Boyd chimed as he kicked open Lizzettes door. He came running back in with a robot arm full of books. Robot arm full meaning he had at least 6 feet of books around his arms, "I found some family albums in the training area. They were next to the trophies."

"Hmm?" Lizzette slowly emerged from her blankets. Boyd opened up his arms, letting the pile of books land on the ground. The books caused a mini earthquake, nearly knocking Lizzette off her bed.

"You said you feel like something's missing, right," Boyd scavenged through the family picture books, "Maybe these will help jog your memory?"

######

"For all we know, they could've gotten on a plane!" Daisy ran out of the plane and checked inside the house.

"Oh no, not my boys," Della felt like her heart was about to explode from all the stress. The gem is missing, the girls are missing, and now the boys are missing, "I think I'm going to be sick."

Della sat down on the wing of Kits plane. Donald was almost running out of nails to bite. Just give him like 2 more minutes and he'll be biting his own flesh. Then he froze when a thought hit him.

"The chips." he whispers.

"What?" Della picked up her head and looked at her brother.

"The chips!" Donald repeated even louder. He rushed into the house boat and started to open every drawer on site. Della followed him into the kitchen and ducked any flying iteams he tossed her way.

"Donald, why are you looking for chips at a time like this?" Della complained, "The boys could be in danger."

"Not that kind of chips," Donald finally found his phone. He opened it up to an app he had hidden in some folders, "Tracking chips!"

"Tracking huh?" Della repeated, confused.

"I had tracking chips inserted into the boys' heads when they were born!"

"You chipped the boys?" Della was more than surprised by Donalds parenting.

"I'll be able to find them in this app," Doanld impatiently typed in the boys' names in his phone app.

"You chiped the boys?" Della again repeated from shock.

"I chipped them cause I love them ok!" Donald snapped from all the pressure.

"Well what are you waiting for? Where are they?" Della urged him. She pressed herself against Donald and looked at his phone. It took a while until they heard three dings.

Hubert Duck found, Dewford Duck found, Llewellyn Duck found.

"Haha! Yes! It works," Donald held his phone to his heart. His happiness couldn't be shattered now.

Location Scotland at the Loch Ness Lake

"Scotland?" Donald repeated and looked at his phone in shock, "What the hey are the boys doing in Scotland?"

"Who cares, mommy's coming babies!" Della rushed out of the boat and headed to the sun chaser.

"Uncle Donald is also coming!" Donald followed.

# ########

"Do you see them?" Della pressed her face against the taxi window.

"Not yet Miss D," Launchpad took a sharp turn making the adults fall to one side of the taxi.

"How am I supposed to find the kids if we're constantly being tossed around like this!" Doanld angrily opened the window above the taxi and stuck his upper body out.

"What are you doing?" Della asked.

"There's mountains and hills here, I need to see if they're above us in any way," Doanld responded.

#####

"Donald it's freezing out there," Della tried to tell him, "Come in."

"N..n….not until we ff...ff… fi d the boys," Doanld shivered from the cold winds, "The boys are probably freezing in this night. We have to kee…."

"STOP THE TAXI!" A loud shriek suddenly pierced their ears like knives. A loud crash was heard and Launchpad slammed on the brakes. The force was enough to knock Donald off the taxi and onto the ground.

"What gives!" He complained. He got on his feet, fists ready for a fight. On the hood of the car, Lizzette had thrown herself on the shield with a frightened face.

"Lizzette?" Della hopped out of the taxi more than confused to see her in Scotland, "What's going on?"

"What's going on? Your sons are being chased by an evil wizard who wants to destroy Clan Mcduck, there's stone zombies of ourselves trying to kill us, Webby sprained her wrist, we're lost, separated, cold, and I lost all signal in my stupid phone! That's what's going on!"

"The boys? Are they close by?" Donald asked in a hurry.

"Yeah of course they are. Just up this hill. Take the road for one more mile and….." Lizzette was dragged into the taxi by both Donald and Della.

"Tell us on the way!" They said.

#######

"I swear this beeping is gonna drive me insane!" Dewey smacked his head repeatedly. Soon, the group heard a loud honking sound coming to them.

"I think I've endured your complaining for too long. I hear it too," Lena shook her head trying to get rid of the sound in her head. In a split second, lights filled the night atmosphere and a taxi car came flying in from the platform shaped rock they were sitting in front of.

Right on the top, holding into the taxi sign for dear life was their uncle Donald. The taxi crashed on a nearby tree, surprisingly it didn't crash sooner.

"Launchpad?" Dewey knew that crash anywhere.

"Boys?" Della kicked open her door.

"Mom!" Dewey ran up to her and embraced her in a hug.

"Oh I was so worried!" Della planted kisses all over his muddy face.

"Mom, I'm ok," Dewey laughed.

"Dewey!" Donald pulled Dewey into his arms and twirled him around.

########

"I'm gonna throw up! Then I'm gonna die," Abigor tried to hold in his lunch. The log kept rolling down the rocky hill. Smacking every rock in sight and flying in the air everytime it did.

"Stupid, beeping!" Huey was still hitting the back of his head on the log.

"Taxi!" Violet noticed a flash of light in the hole ahead of them. Before the boys could process what she said, the log came crashing onto the back of the taxi. The force was enough to nearly push the yellow car off the ledge. But it was enough to knock both Donald and Dewey off the top of the taxi.

"Hey, I'm supposed to be the crasher, not the crashee," Launchpad hopped out of the taxi.

( so the premise is Donald is tracking down the boys separately and they can hear the beeping. I can't go any further since if I do I'll go into spoiler territory.)

####### Deleted scenes from Don't Back Down Again ########

Unnamed Butler

So this is the scene where Webby first meets Lizzette at the fencing match. It's a little different because you'll see Lizzette was much more cold hearted than I attended along with her submissive butler who has no name. Think of Pacifica from Gravity Falls. The reason I took it off is because Lizzette is supposed to have abandonment issues along with trust issues. And treasurers what her mom taught her even after abandoning her. So having a butler was kinda… less lonely. She's supposed to only have Abigor and no one else until she meets Boyd. Yes I could've had her abuse her butler but that seemed too far.

"Hi I'm Webby!" The girl took off her helmet. A smile that made everyone who knows her feel warm. She reached out her hand to shake but the other girl just stood as stiff as a statue. Helmet masqueradeing her face, but even then you can tell by her stiff posture that she was not happy. The other girl slapped Webbys hand away with her sword causing the pink loving girl to squeak in surprise. The mysterious girl turned around and made her way to the water table.

"Ok?" Webby felt confused by the girl's actions. Feeling thirsty herself, she walked up to the water table as well.

"Please stay 6 feet away from Miss Quakolous." A dark colored dog blocked Webbys way. He was much bigger and fierce looking.

"Sorry I-"

"Butler!" The girl demanded his attention. The butler, as if he was a robot, spun around at great speed.

"Yes master Lizzette?" He bowed.

"I can handle this thank you." The so-called Lizzette said. She pulled off her helmet, revealing her face to Webby.

"Yes master." The butler stepped aside so Webby could face the girl. Webby nearly gasped when she took in the sight. Lizzette was a spitting image of her. The only difference were her blue eyes and black spot over her left eye.

"Stop gawking," Lizzette smirked, "You must be the great Vanderquak?"

"Huh?" Webby shook off her shock, "Oh! Yes! I am!"

"Nice," Lizzetts smile faded away. She took a cup and tossed it to Webby, "Want some water?"

"That would be great." Webby nodded her head in excitement. Before anything could happen, Webby heard the barrel of water crash and splash all over.

"Oops." Lizzette gasped as if this little act was an accident, "Sorry."

Meeting Abigor

So this is how we were supposed to meet Abigor. Helping Duckworth with decorating the mansion for Webbys birthday. The reason I took it off, I like introducing characters like him in a more mysterious way. Having Abigor meet the triplets in a formal way just didn't feel right. He's isolated, closed off, protective, uses his need to help others as a shield for his own need to be helped. I needed him to meet them in a way they didn't know it's him. Also, he was too perfect and nice. I needed the cousins to be very flawed. As a way to make people wonder how they were before they became jerks…. also it's easier to make a redemption arc for them if they start off flawed. XD It's a little cheat of mine.

"Abigor!" Webby was running back and forth, doing her best to find her boyfriend. Dewey was still at the door frame, beak wide open and eyes as big as saucers.

"Is he ok?" Louie whispered to Huey. Huey shrugged his shoulders before waving his hand in front of Dewey. Not a single response. Not even his pupils dilated.

"Take it easy kid," they heard an unfamiliar voice. A black and white duck appeared behind Dewey, his eye's a flaming blue. He had a smile as charming as him, eye's hidden behind his messy hair and just as well built as the triplets. The duck placed his fingers under Dewey's beak, closing it for him, "You just might catch a bug."

"There you are!" Webby tackled her boyfriend, nearly launching him off the stairs. Abigor happily picked Webby up and twirled her around. Without even looking behind him, Dewey's beak opened up again.

"Should we call Uncle Scrooge?" Louie thought out loud, wondering why Dewey was so shocked.

A few minutes later, Dewey found himself handing decorations to a guy who looked like he was carved by the Greek gods themselves. Abigor let out a low and amused chuckle seeing Dewey's beak was still hanging open.

"You broke your beak or something?" Abigor teased as he took the box of streamers from the blue triplets hands.

"I-I-" nothing was coming out of Dewey. He watched as Abigor climbed up the ladder, his fit physique making it ever so easy for him to hold onto a box and climb at the same time.

"You must Dewey," Abigor tried to make some small talk.

"You know me?" Dewey neatly blushes when Abigor said his name.

"Webby talks about you guys a lot," once he was done hanging up the streamers, he let the empty box fall, placing his hands firmly on the sides of the ladder, and let himself slide down the ladder. The loud thud as he landed was nearly enough to knock Dewey off his feet, "And I mean a lot."

"Uh huh," Dewey gulped as he watched Abigor swipe his messy hair away from his eyes. Piercing and flaming blue eyes with black splotches decorating around them. Dewey finally shook off his shock and nervously laughed, "I'm sorry, I'm staring. I just never imagined Webby with a boyfriend before."

"Haha, is that why you're shocked?" Abigor gleefully punched Deweys shoulder, "Webby is a great woman. You have to be crazy to not want a date with her."

"Yeah….. yeah!" Dewey felt a sting of pain in his chest but ignored it. There was no reason to feel this, "And you're….. a massive amount of masculinity."

Dewey slammed his hand over his beak when he said this. Was he jealous of Abigor? Or something else?

Sneak peeks to future works.

My story "Don't Back Down Again" is almost done. Like 15 chapters left. So I've been working on the after stories. The after stories are supposed to be a small squeal to my story as a way to fix any loose ends. There's three.

Never Forgive or forget

The Mcduck kids decide to have a sleepover as a way to relax. Things tend to get out of control when Boyd invites Lizzette, someone Lena hasn't forgiven to and most likely never will.

###

"Nope!" Lena slammed the door shut.

"Lena!" Webby was shocked at the sudden reaction.

"I'm not about to let that little devil in this room." Lena dusted her hands and took a seat next to Violet and Webby.

"Did you forget everything that happened?" Webby tried to remind her best friend.

"So her cousin is at the hospital and she risked her life to save us. You expect me to feel sorry for her and forgive that love demon?" Lena scoffed.

"I can still hear you." Lizzette called out from behind the door.

"Good!" Lena replied harshly, "Who even invited her?"

"I did!" Boyd chimed ever so innocently. He hopped out of the attic with the boxes.

"Boyd," Lena complained as she let herself flop back on the bed. She grabbed a pillow and let it fall over her face to hide her distress, "Why?"

"Lizzette isn't all that bad," Boyd handed the boxes to Huey, "We hung out for a few days before she left for Cape Suzette."

"That was like two months ago. How are you two still close?" Lena said, her voice muffled from the pillow.

"Messaging." She heard Boyd's voice right next to her. Lena peeked out from under the pillow to see Boyd showing her pages and pages worth of messages between him and Lizzette, "She's a really interesting girl. Witty, confident, kind-"

"Kind." Lena chuckled.

###

"Ok ok ok, so what if she's sick, and her cousin is at the hospital, and her mom left her, and she has abandonment issues….. It's not our problem. She shouldn't have placed an attack on the Mcduck family in the first place." Lena argued.

"Are you forgetting about your roots Lena?" Webby reminded her. These words caused the shadow girl's eyes to widen before shutting them tight.

"That's not fair Webby, I actually took responsibility for my actions and did what I could to make things right." Lena replied back.

"Which is exactly what Lizzette is doing." Webby gently told her. She didn't want to add more fire to her anger but she also couldn't let her best friend contradict herself.

"Yeah? Like what?" Lena scoffed.

"She did risk her life to save Violet from Magica and helped save our family. Plus she helped us find the final piece of the talisman. She's also here right now with everyone and I say she's pretty much taking responsibility for her actions by being here to make amends. Facing her past and fears….. Like you." Webby said in her usual kind tone.

"Hmm….." Lena was clearly not liking this, but she had to give credit to Webby, she has a point. Lena felt stuck, like she had to choose something but she didn't even know what it was she had to choose. Everyone just welcomed the same girl that used a love potion on Huey and Webby. The same girl that worked for Magica and manipulated them all. But then again, Lizzette did have this whole other side to her that Boyd really seemed to like. And Webby does have a point about Lizzette.

"Lena, you don't have to forgive her if you can't bring yourself to do so," Webby broke her train of thoughts, "But it would be mature of you to at least appreciate her efforts. As for trusting her, you don't have to either. But Lizzette clearly means a lot to Boyd and we can all trust Boyd with our lives. So why not trust in Boyd's judgment instead?"

######

Lizzette

"I just did something unexpected,"

Lizzette was just as frozen in shock as Lena.

"Something bad?

Something new?"

Lena just stood there, eye's widened and a crooked smile she struggled to keep on. Her arms were still wide open for that one hug that Webby waited for.

"I'm not perfectly perfect

But it's beautiful

And it's me…"

Lizzette looked away from the mess, not caring her silky pjs were ruined. Her blue eyes went off in a daze.

"What else can I do?"

The girl wandered off, leaving Lena hanging.

Lena

"Bring it in, bring it in, good talk!"

Lena desperately walked behind her, trying to get that darn hug.

Bring it in, bring it in,"

Lizzette

"What else can I do?"

Lizzette was hypnotized by her own thoughts all while Lena followed. Her eye's nearly twitching from annoyance. Near a door, Lena placed her hand on the door nobs.

Lena

Let's walk!

She opened them only to see it was pouring. She shut the doors again and faced Lizzette, arms still open.

"Bring it in, bring it in."

Lizzette walked past her and slammed the doors open, walking into the rain.

"Free hugs!"

Lenas eye twitched when she realized she had to walk out in the rain after her.

"Bring it in, bring it in!"

Hesitantly, Lena ran after Lizzette, trying to catch up to her.

######

Secrets and Lies

Boyd has been acting strange and oddly sad for the past few months. No one knows why, except maybe Lizzetts childhood friend.

"He's rather nice." Lena commented on the duck as she ate her popcorn.

"He's my boyfriend." Lizzette chimed happily. The second she said this everyone heard a loud spit take and loud coughing.

"So….. That's why?" Huey was drowning in his soda, Louie trying to pat his back to help him breath while Dewey sat in disgust from how drenched he was.

"That's why, what?" Violet handed Dewey some napkins.

"Nothing ….. nothing." Huey tried to regain his breath.

No wonder Boyd didn't want to come hang out, Huey thought to himself, This also explains why he's been acting so sad for the last two months. Poor guy, he's been hiding his heart break that long?

###

"Ok, that's it, no more beating around the bush," Louie jumped onto Boyd's bed and uncovered the boy's face, "Talk to me, Uncle Louie McDuck is here to help."

"There's nothing to say." Boyd pulled the blanket back over his head.

"Awe come on buddy," Dewey laid down next to the robot and patted his back, "We all know you're experiencing your first heartbreak. It happens to all of us. I got rejected by this girl years ago and let me tell you, it felt like a slap to the face."

"You were in the 1st grade and that girl was a guy with long hair who slapped you." Huey clarified.

"It was a cute guy." Dewey shrugged like it was no big deal.

"It's not the rejection that hurts." Boyd mumbled from underneath his blanket. He shifted so his face was closer to his pillow.

"Then what is it?" Huey asked him, genuinely curious as to why his friend is so upset.

"I- I can't say…. It's stupid. I'm stupid." The triplets gasped at this. Boyd never talked like this before.

"Whoa whoa whoa," Louie pulled the blanket all the way off to reveal Boyd hadn't gotten out of his pajamas, "Such foul language from such a beautiful soul, don't you think."

Louie's attempt to lighten the mood failed when Boyd looked up at him with sadness.

"I don't have a soul, I'm worthless." Boyd pulled a pillow over his head surprising the tripletes. The brothers glanced at each other in complete shock. He was clearly going through something much harsher than rejection.

###

"Whoa!" Dewey's eye's glimmered in amazement as he watched everyone train. The ninja dressed duck was teleporting like there was no tomorrow all while the owl continually sprouted wood from the ground. Each branch attempted to grab the duck but it was no use, the duck kept slipping away. A large piece of wood in the shape of a tube busted out of the ground and arched it way down towards the duck. The wood formed a face of some kind of creature you can only imagine. It opened its mouth as it dived down on the duck, consuming him in one bite. The owls team cheered, thinking she won this training battle. The celebration was short-lived when they all heard the sound of knives swinging in the air. The wooden tube began to crack and shake from some kind if pressuer. Faster than Dewey can blink, the duck sliced away the wood, sending it flying all over the battlefield. Before the owl girl could react, the duck teleported behind her and grabbed her shoulders. Again, faster than anyone can see, he teleported to the very edge of the battlefield and swung the girl out of line, gaining him a win. The area was filled with cheers from the ducks team mates and everyone else that was rooting for him.

Angel chuckled before letting out a loud cheer for the winner, "Unbeatable as always Ninja!"

The duck glanced over at Angel and Dewey. The blue triplete had his beak hitting the floor and his eyes wide open in amazement. The duck laughed, feeling flattered by Deweys amazement before waving back to show appreciation.

"That was awesome!" Dewey squealed, "Are we really going to get our own powers? When do we get them? How do we get them? Do we choose? Do we pick our costumes? Oh oh! Can we pick hero names? Like names that we can go by during the competitions?"

"Easy Dew Drop," Angel laughed at the boy's excitement, "Each competitor gets a piece of the gods tainia granting them any power they want. That's how we get powers. Today and tomorrow are the days we get to pick what powers we want and what team we are competing for. Since the family reunion is only three months away, that's how long you and the others will have to train. So you may want to pick a power l-"

"Dance!" Dewey said all of a sudden.

"What?" Angel was taken back by Deweys enthusiasm.

"Dance! I want that power!" Dewey repeated. Angel eyed the boy like he just said the dumbest thing ever. Nearly fell to the ground laughing.

"I think music is more your style." Angel was able to get out between laughs.

###

"That's not going unpunished." Lena angrily pulled out her cell phone and marched into the plane and to her seat.

"Who are you calling?" Louie was just as angry and sat down next to her.

"Hang on," Lena tapped her fingers on the armrest, impatiently waiting for someone to answer. Soon her eyes lit up when she heard someone call, "Hey, how are ya? Out of the hospital yet?... Perfect! Ok, so what if I told you your cousin is being manipulated and lied to right now by her childhood friend?"

Louie's eyes widened when he realized just who she called up.

"Yep, that's the one. Let me send you a video shall I?" Lenas tone was full of sarcasm and rage at this point.

#######

The longest one. At least six chapters or ten. It's also my favorite because I got to insert Duck Tale authors into this one. Katie and Dalek being a few. As a thank you for always supporting me. Hope any author who is in this story feels like I did you justice!

"Let the Games Begin!"

The family reunion is finally here after being delayed multiple times. Many are entering to compete in The Battle of the Gods. The Mcducks are excited to represent the Goddess of Love, until the games start getting too intense. Competitors are letting personal grudges take over to the point where people might actually get hurt or worse.

###

"Abigor and I were really close when we were kids, but I still have bonds with other cousins, you know." Lizzette said plainly as they walked across the beach.

"Really? You always talked about Abigor. What other cousins are you close to?" Webby asked in her usual cheery tone.

"Lizzette?" Everyone heard an even more cheerier tone from a distance. In the crowd they could see an orange colorful bird jumping up and down. With each jump getting him closer to them.

"Lizzette, it's really her!" The bird cheered at the top of his lungs. He jumped over the entire crowd like a cartoon character on a trampoline. Each jump got higher until he was right above them.

"Lizzette!" The bird zoomed right past them smashing himself onto a giant rock in the sand.

"Oh!... Is he ok?" Huey cringed at the sight. As if nothing happened, the orange and yellow bird peeled away from the rock as if he was a sticker. The strange physics freaked out some of the teens except for Lizzette.

"Cartoon logic, you always did want that power." Lizzette laughed before being tackled into a hug.

"Are we seriously going to die here?" Louie shouted in terror. He felt his hand slip away from Webbys and could feel himself getting sucked deeper into the crowd. People were getting tossed out of line making them out of the race. It was crazy, people kept shoving everyone out of bounce, many flew over him and some even slipped past him making him feel extremely uncomfortable.

"Excuse me Mr!" He felt a young white duck squeeze past him. He nearly tripped from how small this girl was. She slipped past everyone as if she was made of liquid.

"Kate!" A brown dog that was flying over the crowd looked down at her, "You know you can travel underground?"

"Oh! Thanks Gabby." Katie waved to the dog that was clearly in her team. In a blink of an eye, the Katie girl transformed her body into water and she sank into the dirt below. Louie couldn't help but look in amazement. So many descendants of Greek gods and their friends were gifted with powers he's never even heard of.

###

"Whoa!" The white duck Katie ran into the dorm's living room and slammed her backpack onto the couch, "Team Demeter makes it past the Elimination Race!"

"Team Demeter! Team Demeter! Team Demeter!" The rest of her team came in cheering. Webby took a peak past the kitchen door to see the team that was coming in.

"Pop open some grape juice! Mama needs her night juice to celebrate!" The tan wolf laughed as she slammed open the kitchen doors, knocking Webby off her feet. The pink dressed girl shook off the pain before standing back up.

"Hey Rebey! We need to unpack first." The chubby dog opened the door again, knocking Webby back off her feet.

"Just a minute Gabby!" Rebey pulled out a bottle from the fridge and popped open the cord with a swipe of her palm, "Let's celebrate our win, why don't we?"

"Can we at least be respectful to the other teams that are staying in the dorms this time?" Gabby pinched the bridge of her nose in disappointment when she noticed the bubbling drink spilling out of the bottle. Rebey looked down at her bottle before flinching in surprise.

"Oop! Sorry." Rebey stepped over the puddle of juice she spilled before placing the bottle inside the sink.

"Who's cleaning this up?" Huey felt slightly intimidated by the team's loud enthusiasm.

"Sorry." Gabby groaned as she grabbed a towel from the counter, "Some of our team members can get a little reckless."

With that, Gabby snatched the bottle out of Rebeys hands and replaced it with the towel.

"Hey! Let's have a little fun tonight. We all made it to the next round against hundreds! Starting Monday we're going to be competing in the Battle of the Gods!" Rebey let out a rough cheer as she jumped down to clean the spill.

"I like to keep the dorms clean this time." Gabby glared down at the girl.

"So, team Demeter huh?" Louie confidently walked up to the lady and leaned on the counter, "I hear you guys are the big shot here?"

"We won the Battle of the Gods four years in a row." A black duck appeared right behind him. Louie let out a loud squeak of fear before coughing behind his arm.

"Four years?" Louie cleared his throat of any cracks. He didn't even notice there was a brown and black dog next to the duck. Her curly hair held into a loose bun. The black duck gave a smirk and nod. He wore mostly black clothing with two long swords behind his back forming an X.

"The names Ninja." The guy held out his hand for a shake. Louie took the hand shake and looked at the guy questionably.

"Ninja? Like the Japanese ninja guys?" He asked.

"Yep, it's a nickname." Ninja let out a low giggle. Louie felt a little intimidated by the guy's presents. Just from the way he quietly showed up out of nowhere.

"So, you want to tell me your real name." Louie asked hopefully.

"Nope." Ninja winked playfully before walking away. The brown and black dog, who looked like she was about to explode from excitement, grabbed Louie's hand and shook it so hard he swore his wrist was about to be torn off.

"Salutations my friend! The names Mimi and I just wanted to welcome you and your team into the dorm rooms!" She chimed without letting go of his hand. Louie had to pull his hand away before he could lose it.

"Hi?" He wasn't sure how to respond to this hyper girl.

"Mimi, help me unpack!" Ninja called out.

"Ok!" The excited girl ran off.

"Don't mind them." A dark brown duck walked up to Louie. He shyly put out his hand for a hand shake as well to which Louie took. This guy had a lighter and kinder feel to him. Brown eyes behind some thick glasses and black hair over his forehead, "Christopher, but you can call me Chris."

"Louie." The rich duck felt more comfortable with this guy.

"Don't feel intimidated by us please." A small green hummingbird appeared behind him. This one also had a cute and kind feel to her. Gold round glasses over her warm brown eyes, "Some of our teammates are just over confident about our four year winning streak."

"You guys must be pretty amazing to win four times in a row?" Lena walked into the conversation.

"I wouldn't say amazing." Chris blushed from the compliment.

"No, we're out standing!" The little hummingbird cheerfully clapped her hands in excitement, "Not anyone can say they have a winning streak! If things go well for us this year, it'll be our fifth win. The most any single team has ever won in a row!"

"Easy Jo, we gotta remain humble remember," a golden retriever, much bigger than the girl, placed his hands over her shoulders. The little hummingbird calmed down a bit before backing into the dog's embrace behind her. The dog reached out for a handshake from the two ducks, "The names Christian, captain of our team. This little lady is the co-captain, Jocabed, Jo for short."

"Hi!" Jo gave an excited wave.

"Don't forget about Katie." The white female duck hopped to their side. She grabbed Lenas hand without her even putting her hand out and violently shook it, "Team Aphroducky huh? Can't wait to compete against you guys. You know, Team Aphroducky hasn't won the Battle of the Gods in over 100 years?"

"What? Why?" Louie was taken back by the news. Lizzette was super talented and won many competitions outside of The Battle of the Gods. Surely the descendents of Aphroducky were powerful.

"I think it might have to do something with the fact that Aphroduckys powers aren't as powerful. Don't get me wrong, she's gorgeous and stunning but…. her powers aren't very useful for competitions so the team captain is usually the first to lose making the team lose."

"Making the team lose? As if the team doesn't have a leader hence they fall, right?" Louie cleared up causing a nod from Katie.

"Well that's going to change today!" Dewey slammed his arm against the table next to them. The microwave still firmly placed over his head, "Lizzette is a great team leader and super skilled with an even superer team behind her."

"You have….. a little…" Katie pointed at her head and looked at the microwaved headed duck in confusion.

"Again?" Webby whined from behind before pulling Dewey back.

"I wouldn't expect much from Lizzette. The girl's talented but this is her first Battle of the Gods so your team isn't expected to get far." A pale white duck with black highlights in her hair walked by them.

"Look who's talking," Rebey laughed as she tossed the towel into the sink, "Christian was a first timer too and he won without a problem…. thanks to us of course. The most amazing team!"

"Yeah but I was trained by my family, who competed by the way, since I was a kid. So I knew what to do and expect as team leader. Lizzette is brand new, if I can give any advice to her it is to remain open to suggestions, communication, and stay flexible." Christian explained.

"Talk, communicate, flex flex flex, nothing hard, Lizzette can handle it," Rebey was clearly drinking way too much of her grape juice. She leaned against the counter where Violet was sitting and looked at her. Rebeys eye's half open and drooping , "You're a cute one. Seeing you at tonight's party?"

"What?" Violet scooted away from the girl.

"Party, celebration party actually," The white duck with black highlights pulled Rebey aside and had her lean on her, "We have one after every Elimination Race to celebrate the teams that made it."

"Party!" Dewey's voice echoed in happiness from inside the microwave.

"Stop moving." Katie held the blue triplet against the table as Webby pulled onto the microwave.

###

"So every team has a captain and co-captain huh?" Violet was intrigued by the game's concept.

"Usually," Lizzette focused more on her streches than what Violet was trying to strategize. Violet looked down at the duck and noticed she was extremely nervous.

"Who's the co-captain of this team?" She asked. Lizzette stood up straight, without even looking at the hummingbird. She let out a loud sigh before speaking.

"Co-captain is optional… Abigor and I always wanted to be captain and co captain but….." Lizzette didn't need to say more, Violet understood.

"I see….. so about the other teams, how powerful are they?" Violet asked.

###

"Why Violet? Why did you ask?" Dewey cried out, tears nearly falling from fear.

"Don't you think that's enough teasing?" Jo looked at her partner, a small smile forming. Christian didn't say a thing, with just a wave of his hand he summoned another root from the ground and slammed it against Dewey. Christian smiled as he slid his hand to the side making the root slam Dewey against a tree and trap him.

"Maybe it is time to take out the big guns. Do you mind?" Christian happily looked over at her. Jo shook her head in excitement and clapped her hands. The ground began to shake, letting vines crawl out as if they were arms, letting out the same plant creation Louie fought. Only it appeared a whole lot bigger than the last time Louie faced it.

"Not this again." Lena lightly complained. The plant creature raised it's dirt first in the air and let it fall towards them. Lena formed a shield around her and Violet, blocking the hit. The force was so strong it nearly knocked the shadow girl off her feet.

"And Winnie said this is only her second biggest creation!" Violet tried to speak over the loud slamming sounds.

"Man, that's a strong shield." Jo calmly commented before jumping up in excitement. She cuffed her hands over mouth and shouted, "Harder! Hit it harder!"

The creature seemed to understand her. This time it raised both fists and slammed them down together. Lena and Violet screamed when the hit caused a large crack in the shield.

"No you don't!" A familiar voice cried out. While the plant creature had it's fists down, it felt a sudden weight on it's wrists. Once again, they had turned into gold.

"How did he get past-" Christian looked around for the green triplet until one of his teammates came in.

"So sorry!" Katie jumped into the flower platform still in her water from, "He slipped past us by turning Sophie into gold."

"She's gold?" Jo gasped.

"Ninja is half gold as well. I only escaped because-" Katie got interrupted.

"Thought you could run!" Louie jumped up and tried to tackle Katie. The girl let out a squeak of fear before letting herself sink into the ground in her water form. Louie fell onto his shoulder, wincing in pain, "Dang it! I hate it when she does that!"

"Planta!" Jo yelled out to her plant creation. In a split second, the plant creature stretched out one of it's vines to attack Louie. Thinking fast, Louie rolled away from the vine and the moment the vine hit the platform he grabbed it. In seconds the vine turned to gold, making the creature stuck again.

"Thought you get the best of me again?" Louie stood up with an expression filled with determination.

"Again?" Jo tilted her head in confusion.

"Yeah, again," Louie kept his guard up but the girl wasn't understanding him. She continued to hold a bewildered expression, making him sigh, "You faced me on the fist round?"

The co captain tilted her head to the otherside, trying to remember him.

"You beat me up?... You broke my arm!" Louie raised his right arm in some anger, "I had to go to the nurse's office for them to use some god magic, I don't know what to call it, to fix it!"

"Did I?" Jo covered her mouth with both hands and gasped, "I'm so sorry!"

Louie just looked at the girl in confusion, does she have short term memory loss?

"I'm seriously one of the few people that can-'' before Louie could finish, he was slammed by a root Christian summoned from the ground.

"He gets distracted kinda easily." Christian noticed. Jo happily nodded yes, happy she was able to distract Louie long enough. He was the main threat to their team..

###

"I hate this!" Louie tried to keep his balance but the room kept on spinning and spinning. Throwing his whole team around as if they were inside a washer machine.

"Where's the target?!" Dewey tried to reach out for the violin but the room again shook and made the violin fall down the stairs.

"Violet!" Lena cried out for her sister, still trying to make her way across the room. Soon, a chair swiped past her, making her lose balance and slide away.

"I can't even tell where I am!" The team heard Violet's voice but couldn't find her.

"Why didn't any of us choose an agility power?" Huey kept running away from all the falling debri until the room turned to it's right. He leaned to the open doors beneath him and fell right in. He was now inside what looked like a basement.

"The target!" Violet was at the corner, pointing at the target that was nailed to the wall above them.

"How are we supposed to get that?" Huey was in a panic and couldn't think.

"I got this!" They heard Gosalyn cheer as if nothing was wrong. In a blink of an eye, a rubber ball slammed against the target making the room stop spinning. The ball bounced off the walls multiple times before returning to it's red haired owner.

"So happy I chose a strength related power!" Gosalyn laughed and fist bumped the air.

###

"How have we made it this far? I don't know!" Louie cried out, "I just want the rooms to stop changing every second!"

"Nothing in the room beyond this wall either." Violet came back through the wall. She looked just as disappointed as the rest of her team.

"What if we wait for another team to come our way?" Boyd suggests, "They might know a way out of the labyrinth?"

"Last thing we're doing is teaming up with any other team," Lizzette said, "You saw what happened. Apollo's team nearly lost when they tried to team up with Zeus's team."

"True," Lena lightly hit the wall with the back of her head, "So what should we do?"

"I'll check the room below." Violet said before jumping through the wall below them.

"We can't keep relying on Violet to check every room. We have to come up with a strategy." Huey was tired of going in circles.

"Hueys right, we're just wasting time checking every room." Louie agreed.

"And who knows what Violet will find." Webby thought.

"What do you mean by that?" Dewey asked. As if in cue, the team heard Violet scream from the room below.

"Vi!" Lena panicked. She laid down and placed her ear against the floor, "What's happening?!"

###

"So you're telling me there's someone out there actually trying to hurt us?" Mimi was nervously pacing back and forth.

"Someone? There's more than one person," Huey concluded, "Every team had their captain or co captain hurt to the point where they couldn't continue the games. That takes more than one person."

"Ok but who would do that? You saw how messed up the Apollo team was. The captain can't even walk properly. He's too scared to continue the games!" Lizzette was just as scared as everyone.

"Which is probably what they want," Huey said, "Whoever is attacking the teams either has a grudge against them or is trying to win by default."

She swore her hand was going to need to be amputated from the lack of blood flow. He held onto her hand even tighter from the excitement he felt.

"Ummm….." Lena winced a bit from pain.

"I didn't hear a no!" Winston cheered and finally released her hand. He threw his arm over the girl and pulled her in close, nearly cheek to cheek. "They're not single, none of them." Lizzette already knew the look her cousin was giving.

"You know I like competition." Lofn giggled, her eyes still glued on the team.

"First of all, gross," Lizzette snapped her cousin's attention back to her, "Second of all, none of them are going to fall for your tricks."

"Easy Dylan," Coral threw her muddy uniform into the laundry shoot, slamming the metal door to let out her frustration, "As much as I wanted to win, we have to admit, team Demeater won the round fair."

"How did they even get first place!" Dylan slammed open the metal door and shoved his laundry, the large pile getting stuck at the door. He stared at the stuck clothes for a moment before punching it in hopes to get it down, "The illusions knocked over half the competitors out. Yet they stayed in the game!"

"They aren't on a winning streak for nothing," Coral picked up some of his clothes that were stuck and let them fall in little by little, "The best option is to analyse them and strategize our next move. That way we can stand a better chance at-"

"I know I'm right!" Angel interrupted him, anger starting to take over. When he realized he was getting loud, Angel cleared his throat before speaking calmly again, "I know what's right and wrong. Her black choker with a white skull, the way her rings and bracelets were connected with chains, and the dark make up she wore, it gave her a very intimidating look. And her height and well built structure was helping with that image.

"Very?" Shizu said in her monotone voice.

"Never mind." Dewey shook it off right away. She was only a few inches shorter than him and yet her piercing eyes were enough to scare him off.

Last but not least,

Laloo

"Webby no!" Abigor pushed onto his wheels even faster but the strong girl wasn't letting go.

"I thought you talked to him already?" Webby was somehow managing to keep Abigor from rolling away.

"Webby, I respect and love you, but let go!" Abigor was ready to launch himself off his wheelchair, the wheels spinning even faster, leaving tire tracks on the floor.

"Abigor? Is that you?" The moment the voice hit his ears, Abigor froze in time. His voice was so much deeper and mature. He nearly fainted from the feelings that were building on his chest.

"You must be Laloo!" Webby chimed while still holding onto Abigor, "Abigor talked about you almost all morning today."

"Really?" Abigor heard his voice chuckle. He sounded so kind as always. In a second, hid heart jumped when he felt someone's hand on his shoulder, "Abigor? It's been a while-"

In a blink of an eye, Abigor used his flames to give him a boost and out of Webbys hands. The two watched as the boy rode off.
