A/N: This isn't anything new, I just found a half written story and decided to post it as a drabble. It's from the Demon-verse and I know that universe has at least few fans out there… like… three... the rest of you can tag along if you want to… ;)

Demon Parents… again!

"Why am I not pregnant yet!?" Robin growled in frustration, glaring at the one who he assumed was to blame for this unfertilized state, namely Slade.

"It's not from the lack of trying, Love, you know that," the king of the demon realm said in a placating tone.

"I know that! My ass knows that too, trust me," Robin snorted. "Don't look so smug! Not when you haven't done your job!" he added.

At that moment the door to Red's and Speedy's bedroom opened and they came out, beaming, followed by a green female demon.

"We're pregnant!" Red X announced.

"I'm pregnant, you only helped," Speedy sniffed but couldn't stop smiling.

"Congratulations!" Slade boomed.

"Yeah, congrats. Red, maybe you can show your boss how it's done," Robin muttered, but then smiled at Speedy. "Sorry, just moody. I'm happy for you."

"You'll be knocked up in no time too, trust me," Speedy chuckled. "Healer Green, thank you."

"Don't mention it. Could you now leave me alone? You've been demanding for me to come here and see if you are pregnant almost every day for a month."

"Actually, could you-?" Robin started.

"You're not pregnant, my Queen," the woman sighed.

"But is there's anything I can do to make it happen already?" the young looking man asked.

The woman looked at him flatly. "Copulate," she answered before turning and stalking away, back to the portal which would take her home.

Robin sighed and then turned towards his husband. "Well, you heard her," he said. "Come along."

"No," the demon told him firmly.

"Excuse me?" Robin wasn't used to being turned down. Ever.

"Your obsession has been going on long enough. If the fates want it, it will happen. Have patience."

Robin's eyes narrowed. "You will fuck me, and you will fuck me now."

When Slade pulled him close Robin grinned triumphantly, only to stop when the demon only kissed his forehead. "I'll be back tonight, Love," the man said lovingly but firmly. "Red, I know you might want to celebrate, but I need you below."

"…. I might need him below too," Speedy muttered, and the poor, black-skinned demon looked very torn for a moment, before the archer made a 'just go' gesture.

Robin frowned deeply after his husband until Speedy threw a friendly arm around his neck.

"Come on, give the guy a break. Let him have the driver's seat for once, huh?"

"He's the fricking king of the demon world, his whole life is a driver's seat," Robin snorted.

"Well, not since he married you."

"What are you talking about?" Robin exclaimed.

"Man, you know I love you, right?"

"… Right…?" the dark-haired man replied, suspiciously.

"Well, after Scion was born you went a bit into overdrive trying to prove that you were this big, tough MAN and not a little mommy in a frilly house dress. Maybe you're not getting pregnant because you're the one fucking Slade?"

"I'm NOT!" Robin spluttered. "Urgh, just the thought…"

"Great, then at least let him feel like he's topping as well. Can't be good for a guy's testosterone to be bossed around all the time. You're a badass, Rob, we all know it, but tone it down around Slade or he's gonna spend even more time down in the realm than he already is."

Robin took a few steps away from Speedy, breaking free from the friendly embrace.

"Hey man, I'm sorry-" the redhead started. "That was a bit too harsh, I just-"

"I… I need some time alone," Robin stated numbly and turned on his heel, heading towards his and Slade's private chambers.

When the demon lord returned home that night, it was to a rather somber husband who was curled up in bed. Once Robin heard him enter the younger man stood up and greeted his husband with a kiss like he usually did.

"You look sad. Are you still upset?" Slade asked, a bit guardedly.

"No… not about that, anyway," Robin sighed. "Angel?"

"Yes?"

"Have I been…? I mean, have you felt…? Am I…?"

"You need to complete a question for me to answer it," the demon reminded him.

"I'm just not sure what to ask."

Robin noticed that the demon looked at him in the familiar 'humans are weird' way and chuckled shortly before growing serious again.

"Slade, have you been avoiding me?"

"Are you sure that was the question you meant to ask, because I don't understand," Slade said.

"Have I been a bit… pushy? Do you feel like I'm trying to make all the decisions up here? Is that why you're away a lot, where you feel more in control?"

"You are pushy-"

"Dammit, I knew it!" Robin started, but then his shoulders where caught before he stomp away in anger and disappointment.

"I wanted a queen. I wanted my equal. I wanted someone who knew how to give orders. A leader, remember?" the demon said fairly.

"Yes, but… has it become too much?"

"Once you stepped down as the official leader of the Teen Titans to become more like a mentor I noticed that you seemed to feel the need to… display more. Be more dominant, if you wish. I understand."

"I've been told before that I can get annoying like that…" Robin sighed, remember his old Titan days. "I'm sorry."

"Do you resent being my wife and Scions mother? Do you ever regret it?"

"What? No! Never! I love you, I love our son! Sure, it was a bit weird getting pregnant when I didn't know I could, and it was difficult to deal with, but I wouldn't have wanted to do it again unless I had gotten over it, right?"

"I guess so, and I'm glad to hear it. It was really all I wanted to hear." Slade pulled him close and kissed the top of his head again.

"I'll pipe down about getting pregnant. You're right. if it happens, it happens," Robin said, nuzzling into the much larger body. "With all the kids gone all weekend, though… it felt like the right time."

"The nest feels empty, doesn't it?" Slade chuckled. "My son going to a human college… strange times…"

"Well, he and Whim are only there looking. We don't have to say goodbye until autumn," Robin said, clenching the man's fur cape as he said the last words. He could feel tense too.

"With a portal they will only be a step away," the demon soothed them both.

"We could keep Whim here," Robin grinned. "He'll be lucky to get into a college at all with his grades, so maybe we shouldn't allow them to live together? That would bring Scion back to us most weekends, if not more."

"We've already had this argument with them; do you want to have it again?" Slade sighed. "Red and Speedy supports Whim in finding a job and we agreed to help them find an apartment close to the college Scion chooses… if we go back on our word-" he continued.

"No, no, we can't… I know we can't, it's just… tempting."

"I know. We won't lose them, though, and we know that our son will be too busy becoming a lawyer to cause any trouble. That's more than Red and Speedy knows… They are letting Joy go off to Paris for a year!"

"Well, Fluke is a nightmare hunter's apprentice, I think that's pretty dangerous too," Robin grinned. "And Lucky is heading off to college as well… I have no idea how he could get a full football scholarship without actually breaking any bones…"

"Luck?" Slade smiled.

"Most likely," Robin laughed. "I love you," he added, his blue eyes soft. "It's been a long day, how about ending it in the bath? I promise not to seduce you."

"Well, we won't be disturbed by having someone with an existential crises knocking on our door, so why not?" the man chuckled. "Although about the seduction… you could at least try."

Because of the demon's size the tub was as big and deep as a small pool. They didn't use it too often, saving it for special occasions when a shower just wouldn't do. They let out a collective sigh as they sank down into the water on either side of the sunken tub. After relaxing with closed eyes for a moment, Robin left his, shallower, side and took a few swim strokes to reach Slade. There he straddled the blue skinned creature he called his husband and sighed happily again as he leaned into the demon's chest.

"I love this," he purred. "I'm sorry I've been a bit of a bitch."

"I barely noticed. Although sometimes I have fantasized about taking you over my knee," the demon admitted.

"I'm pretty sure that would be domestic abuse," Robin pointed out.

"And we both know you would enjoy it."

The hero groaned and wriggled a bit in confirmation. "I hate to admit it, but I kinda like that you can do whatever you wanted to me if you choose to," he said. "And at the same time I know you would never ever hurt me… I guess that's why I can take out my frustration on you," he added with a self loathing groan. "I'm such a douche bag."

"Please don't badmouth my queen or I have to beat you up," the demon rumbled playfully.

Robin laughed and raised his head for a kiss. "You'll always be my king," he whispered, just before their lips met.

Two weeks later Healer Green got to give her queen the good news.

"Congratulations," she smiled. "Very early days, but congratulati-UFF!"

After Robin stopped hugging her he flew into Slade's arms and peppered the demon's face with kisses until the man looked quite bothered about being treated like this in front of a subject.

"There, there, maybe you should go tell Speedy?" the man suggested after a while.

"You might want to wait a little bit-" the healer suggested, but she was ignored.

After telling his friends the news they stared at each other.

"We're doing this again…" Robin suddenly realized.

"Oh dear god…" Speedy whispered. "Are we insane?"

"We must be! We're going to be parents again! We're going to have to go through everything again!"

"I bet you get twins this time," Speedy grinned teasingly.

"Shut your mouth! Then I hope you get six kids!" Robin shot back.

"Not again!" Speedy groaned.

"Last time you only got four. Four. Will you ever learn to count them?"

"Are you sure? Seems like more…"

"Just four. Promise."

"Well. Can't be that many this time, can it?"

"Of course not," Robin fibbed. "Everything is just gonna be smooth sailing this time, isn't it?"

"Yeah, I mean now we know what we're in for," Speedy nodded.

They looked at each other again.

"Ice cream on the couch?" Robin suggested.

"Hell yes," Speedy concurred.

And so the future mothers decided to celebrate/sympathize with each other for the next two hours by sitting on the couch, with blankets, eating ice cream and binge-watching their latest favorite TV-show. Live was good. Probably.

The End.

A/N: Well, that was it. Was meant to be a full story, but then I already had that other m-preg so it got a bit much. Thought demon-verse lovers still would appreciate to read this, anyway.

EDIT: Robin was, because of brain-fart, talking to Red in the end. Been writing too much "The General's New Bride" and the only part I wrote now for this story was that last scene and...yes. That happened. Edited and forgotten. ;)
