Enjoying the amount of time they spent together is what makes Amy's week, complete. Reading together, watching movies, even dining with a spontaneous academic discussions. They both new that there something special between them a level of understanding not needed to be said but only to be felt and enjoyed. This stimulating connection between them is enough for her. After all, she only want a friend and with Sheldon she found one and 5 others she smiled with this thought.
"Amy" Sheldon caught her in her thoughts. "Hmm" answering while poking her salad thinking that her life is where she wanted it to be since she was 12 only 20 years later.
"Do you ever think we can be something more?" He continued while pretending to poke his food. "What do you mean?" setting down her utensils and directing her attention to him. "Maybe like Leonard and Penny does? Only you know… stable."
She slightly chuckled to the statement he made "I don't know Sheldon, I like what we have now. There's a level of understanding that we both give importance to."
"Yeah maybe you're right, but aren't you curious though?" She looked at him quizzically… where is this conversation going? "Of course, I am after all intimacy is a form connection that we share with other people. That others now may throw away so easily" "Like Penny?"… yeah like Penny. But he didn't need that confirmation
"You shouldn't talk to your friends like that." Even if it's true Penny is her friend now and friends should back up each other. Atleast to the books they did that. "It's true though" Sheldon snorts.
"Are you going with something pitching this kind of topic? It's the second time you brought this subject" She brought her attention to her unfinished plate. It was not Sheldon character to joke on this. Given his Christian childhood this topic is considered as taboo and he held unto those values dearly. She also find it weird that the idea of two them engaging in coitus even burst out of him last week. Even if it's bazzinga moment.
"Caught that one huh?" He is flustered now. "You're not that hard to read, you are acting on a textbook basis of anxiety. Where are you going with this?" He didn't answered again and still continued to pretend his interested in what's his eating. Then it dawned on her. Last week line wasn't a joke at all. She just need a clarification.
"You want to engage in one then?" He looked at her scandalized but nodded. "You find someone interesting then?" She teases after all it quite fun seeing Sheldon this way. "Yeah, she might not into me though" If she wasn't a biologist she might get offended because he blatantly assumed something she's feeling her but her biology background isn't failing her. She clearly know what he is attempting. She decided to play along. After all, two can play this.
"Really? Who wouldn't want you? I bet even their mothers are pinning over you" Sheldon smiled at her compliment but derisively snorts. He knew what she mean. "I gave her mother a wrong impression"
"You needed her mother permission to take her to bed? Are you planning to marry this woman?" She chuckled at the thought.
"Of course. It is a practice and a covenant by two people in marital conditions" That stopped her. What?
"What?" she burst out her thought. "Oh you think I don't know what you're doing do you?" He is chuckling on her reaction. Amy admitted that caught her of guard. She laughed eventually and Sheldon joined her. That's the connection she's taking about. They might not get what others are talking about but when they are alone they caught these kind of innuendos easily.
"So what do you think?" Sheldon continued. She's quite surprised he didn't dropped this yet. "Well, I'm not sure. Biologically I think it is a must to experience. But several people experience states that engaging in that type of activity might severe the prior bond they created." Penny has this relationship with Leonard, would it be wise to repeat this experience between the two of them? And she bet that between them she'll be more into him than he'll ever be into her.
He sighed "Think of everything we might gained though." He insist. Interesting she thought. "This requires attraction between to people. Sexual tension even. It may need a certain moment" Biologically speaking this is true. The lion impresses the lioness to engage in one. Peacock even lures their mate using their tail. It may take a lot of work, and to be honest. She wanted to be pursued.
"You want romance then? Of course you do" Sheldon teases her. She rolled her eyes. Duh!
"It may take a lot out of your boundaries. I don't know if you're up to that especially with your aversion to people." She states, her curiosity will not get the best of her. She wanted to respect his boundaries and she respected his quirks at all. After all, she's neurotic as well.
"Of course I already considered it I wouldn't take this conversation with you if I haven't" Sheldon stood up and starts cleaning up their table. This is one of the reasons she admired this relationship. It feels marital to her. They worked like a team every time. Sheldon knew how to appreciate order, she does to. Pondering this as she also stand up to put the left over in the containers while Sheldon is washing the dishes. She might've been lost to her thoughts cause once she regained them she found themselves in the sofa sitting while Sheldon also streams for the program they want to watch.
"Formula 1 Documentary might be interesting" She suggested "You like racing?" Sheldon looked intrigued "What you think only boys like fast cars?" She liked the drivers as well but he didn't need to know that. Raising his eyebrows he ignored her suggestion. Sheldon knew men are quite attractive in racing. She smiled at this, his display of jealousy with her sometimes makes a knot in her stomach. It's evasive but also very assertive.
He grabbed her hand tugged her closely. Their face only inches away with each other and sensually whisper "I want to watch the boring ones so we can continue to the discussion you left me hanging earlier."
She knew he was challenging her. For some reason she felt it irked something inside him. The act of her talking back to him dilated his pupils and make his eyes darker. Admittedly she found this attractive. She gathered her composure and raise her eyebrows leaning away.
"I don't even know if you're serious about that. I wanted to clarify if we were gonna do this. We will do it all the way. Also, this thing is only between us yet." His hands moved to the small on her back and he tugged her closer. Almost straddling him.
"Privately Intimate? Hmmm I always admired that" Sheldon started to nibble hear ear while talking. They didn't even kissed yet. This is too fast too soon? But those thoughts also get lost when he started to suck the back of her ear.
Whimpering Amy blurted out "We need to talk how to act to each other in front of our friends after this. They might knew what were up to if we acted like cats spooked and to be honest we kinda are if caught" He stopped abruptly and looked at her chuckling. " I always knew you are a lot like me. I never thought how much though. I got it covered Amy. Just trust me" and then he met her lips hungrily.
Amy felt it. That electrifying connection they always have. The spark and the tension. The intensity of how much he felt about her and so was her feeling about him. She thought maybe this may be onto something good. Just maybe she could put her worries aside just for a little bit and just trust Sheldon. After all, he did excel at everything. And by the way he fondles her breast above her clothes. He really do excel.
Straddling fully to him she tugged his head and kissed him back also grinding slightly. Oh this is really good.
