Written under the influence of depression (I won't elaborate why; it's not a chronic thing), mild hunger, and Led Zeppelin at quarter-to-eleven at night. I only wrote this to try and make myself feel better, so please don't flame it.

-I Think I Need A Hug-

Jynx sighed as she stared out the window, watching the rain falling steadily outside. The rain seemed like such a good backdrop to her mood… Her tail, brush-like and constantly on the move, rested listlessly on the floor. There was a slight droop to her normally twitchy cat ears not unnoticed by one of her six housemates behind her.

"Jynx?"Xemnas asked, concern in his voice. Anything that had the normally obnoxious Jynx quiet and depressed had to be serious. Jynx didn't turn, though her ears twitched slightly.

"Hello, Xemnas," she muttered, breath fogging the glass. Xemnas cocked his head.

"Something wrong?" he asked. Jynx shook her head slightly.

"Not really," she replied almost inaudibly. Xemnas sat beside her.

"Is this one of those things that men aren't supposed to understand about women?" he asked jokingly. Jynx smiled slightly.

"Maybe… it's just hard to tell sometimes," she said, turning towards him. Her tail swished sadly, curling up around her knees. She sighed again. "Wish Ace was here… she's the one person I don't sock when they hug me… I sorta feel like I could use a hug…"

She closed her eye. Xemnas smiled somewhat. He reached out and pulled her against him, hugging her tight. Her lone eye opened in surprise. Xemnas hugged her tighter for a moment, then released her.

"Feel better?" he asked, grinning.

Jynx smiled too. "Just a bit."

Xemnas flipped her cat ears around for a moment and walked away.

Still a bit blue, Jynx walked into the kitchen, hearing her stomach rumbling halfheartedly. She glanced up and raised an eyebrow.

Xemnas and Saïx stood by the wall, glued at the lips. Their hands were starting to wander.

"Of all the places…" Jynx grumbled, grinning, as she nicked the bag of chips and started to walk away. She paused and pulled a camera out of Hammerspace. She quickly took a few pictures and left the room.

As she was loading the pictures onto her computer, she paused.

"There's no way he didn't know I was there…" she began, pursuing a train of thought. "Aww! He let me see him making out with Saïx and take pictures on purpose!" Grinning broadly as she felt her spirits lift, she finished loading the pictures and picked up her newest H.P. Lovecraft book.

"I feel much better now!"

-End-

This was whipped together in fifteen-twenty minutes and there wasn't much point to it. But the initial purpose was served: I'm not so depressed. I just wish I had a bishie like Xemnas around to hug when I get depressed… oh well. Onward and upward! Hmm… those chips sound pretty good right now…
