Hey everyone! What's up!?

So back with another Sonic and Tails story, but unlike the last one I did, this one will be even more hard for Sonic of course… I actually got this idea while I was writing the last Sonic and Tails story, like what if Eggman did capture Tails and used him against Sonic?

Well, here's the story now, so I hope you enjoy!

Chapter 1: A New Plan

Sonic the Hedgehog was currently running through a maze, busting his way through badniks as they tried to shoot at the speeding hedgehog, but to no avail as Sonic was of course way too fast for them. Sonic got news of Eggman's appearance and went ahead and well… It was a trap to get him to come to the evil human scientist, but he wasn't quite alone…

"Oh great…" Sonic said as up ahead was a dead end, the hedgehog slowing down and coming to a stop, turning his back against the wall blocking his way as a great many badniks were right in front of him as one of them produced a loudspeaker.

"End of the line for you Sonic, any last words?" The voice of Eggman sounded.

"Yeah, you should tell your robots to keep a look above." Sonic smirked.

"What are you talking about?" Eggman angrily asked, confused as there was suddenly the sound of a plane's engine from above.

"A little late buddy, but I wouldn't have it any other way…" Sonic smiled as above in the skies was Tails in the Tornado, diving down as he performed a strafing run with the Tornado's machine guns.

The badniks began to return fire, but Tails expertly dodged the incoming flak as he came back around for another run.

"Bombs away!" Tails shouted as a couple of missiles were released before rocketing and hitting in the center of the mass of badniks, reducing them to scrap metal. "Sonic, grab on!" Tails called down as he got lower, firing off a grapple cable for Sonic to hold as what few badniks remained tried to grab Sonic.

"Later Eggman, I got a plane to catch!" Sonic said as he grabbed the end of the cable, Tails rolling the cable back up and bringing Sonic abroad as the blue hedgehog took his usual position on top of the wing in front of the cockpit.

"So?" Tails giving Sonic a sly smile.

"A little late buddy, but points for dramatic timing." Sonic giving Tails praise as the two flew away. "Seriously, thanks for the save, always happy you got my back pal."

"Anytime Sonic, I'll follow or save you no matter what." Tails promised as the two headed back to Restoration HQ, having won the day and leaving behind a big mess for an angry Eggman to clean up.

"That damm rodent and his foxy friend!" Eggman angrily slamming his fists into a control panel.

"Doctor, reports are coming in that over 90 percent of the robots present there were destroyed." Cubot informed the angry scientist, who of course didn't want to hear this at the moment.

"Don't you think I am aware of that!" Eggman shouted. "Even when he barely has any backup, that rodent wins!"

"Maybe we need to build more powerful robots sir." Orbot suggested as Eggman had calmed down a little and returned to his screen, looking through the footage of the fight, stopping at the time Tails came to the rescue, more specifically at how the hedgehog and fox interacted with each other…

"No… We don't need more powerful robots… I have the perfect idea on how to bring that rodent down…" Eggman evilly smiled. "It's time to kidnap a little fox…"

Meanwhile Sonic and Tails arrived back at Restoration HQ to the relief of everyone there as the Tornado made its landing next to the building as the pair were met by a couple of their friends, who were of course happy to see the hedgehog and fox back.

"So glad you guys came back, Amy almost sent Whisper and I to go after you two." Tangle's hand meeting Sonic's in a firm hold.

"Well nothing we couldn't handle by ourselves." Tails shrugged his shoulders.

"Amy will want to see you two right away." Tangle informed the pair as Sonic and Tails nodded their heads before heading inside, to where Amy was in the main command center of the building.

As expected the female hedgehog came running froward to give Sonic a big hug, happy to see him okay.

"I was worried when I heard the news Sonic, you okay?" Amy asked.

"Thanks to Tails, yes, nothing can save this dynamic duo, right pal?" Sonic turning to his sidekick.

"Right, there were a lot of badniks, but Sonic and I took care of most of them Eggman sent, this will surely set Eggman back, so we can relax for a little and be ready for his next move." Tails confirmed.

"That's good news, hopefully you two are right, I could sure use a break…" Amy sighed. "Anyway, since you two did a good job, I guess there's nothing for you to do now."

"Well I'll stay Amy, you never know when you need me." Sonic smiled. "What about you Tails?"

"I think I'll head to my workshop, work on my gadgets." Tails requested. "If you need me Sonic, I'll come flying in with the Tornado again." Tails told Sonic as the fox headed back out, climbing into his biplane as he took off into the sky and headed to his peaceful workshop as the sun began to set, Tails yawning as he grew a little tired.

Figuring that maybe it was actually better to get some sleep as his workshop came into view, Tails landed the Tornado down on the short runway next to his workshop, parking it in the hangar. As Tails shut the engine down, he got out and went inside, eager to lay down and sleep, opening the door and was about to turn on the lights…

Only as Tails was about to reach for the switch, something suddenly came crashing into his head, throwing him backwards and knocking him out cold. If Tails could see, he would have seen that Eggman's robot assistants Cubot and Orbot had knocked him out as the two robots quickly tied up the fox before he could potentially wake up.

"Get the boss on." Orbot told Cubot as Cubot took out a screen, turning it on to reveal the human scientist.

"Well?" Eggman asked, anxiously waiting for the news as Cubot turned the screen to Tails. "Excellent, bring him to me before he has a chance to wake up, Sonic will definitely be surprised when I do what I have in store for this one here…" Eggman laughed as he now had Sonic's own sidekick captive.
