'Everyone here is... unique?' I thought as I stayed seated while we waited on two students to arrive. 'Starting from seat one, Yuga Aoyama. He gives off the impression that he's gay with how he talks, but that could be due to his quirk being flashy and he wants to make an example out of it. Seat two, Mina Ashido. She is a slime like girl, meaning that her quirk just might be the same. Seat four, Tsuyu Asui. Judging by her appearance, she's just like a frog. Seat four, Tenya Ida. He looks like the kind of guy to take charge of the situation, but with his name, he also comes from that family of hero's, or I'm mistaken, which is rare. Seat five isn't here yet. Seat six, is me. Seat seven, Denkai Kaminari, with the black streak of lightning in his hair, its safe to say that his quirk is related. Seat eight, Eijiro Kirishima. With his talk on manliness, his quirk has to be either a strength quirk or a defense quirk, possibly both. Seat nine, Koji Koda. I actually don't know what to think of when it comes to his quirk. Seat ten, Rikido Sato. Judging by the cookies he brought for everyone, he has a food based quirk, so far, no idea what it is. Seat eleven, Mezo Shoji. He has multiple arms, six in total, and has a mysterious aura about him. Seat twelve, Kyoka Jiro. She has headphone jacks for earlobes so its possible she has a sound based quirk. Seat thirteen, Hanta Sero. His elbows are a weird shape so its hard to tell what his quirk is at the moment. Seat fourteen, Fumikage Tokoyami. He did stiffen up when he looked my way, meaning that he is an animal mutation with something else added on as well, he too gives off a mysterious aura. Seat fifteen, Shoto Todoroki. He was one of the ones who were recommended just like me, he is also the son of Endeavor, meaning that he has fire, but he only showed off his ice half and none of the fire, showing the talent that he has. Seat sixteen, Toru Hagakure. She's invisible. Seat seventeen, Katsuki Bakugo. He's a hot head and with the aura he is giving off, I don't like him very much as he gives off more of a villan aura than hero. Seat eighteen is missing as well. Seat nineteen, Minoru Mineta. His hair is funny looing. Finally, seat twenty, Momo Yaoyoroza. She was also one of the ones who were recommended to join this school, and her quirk is creation. She's smart as she needs to know everything down to it molecular component to make it.'
"Take your feet off of that desk now!" I heard, with me looking over at Ida as he was at Bakugo's desk.
'I think I'll give everyone nicknames!' I thought with a smile. 'Lets see... Aoyama is Fake it till you make it- no, too long. Sparkles? Skittles! Ashido... Slime is too obvious... Pinky? Pink Slime? Plime? Pime? None of those really sound good so... I'll just go with Pinky. Tsuyu shall be Tsu because Tsu. Kaminari is Bolt like the dog from that movie. Kirishima is Red because of his hair. Shoji is Mystery. Jiro is... Earjack? Sero is smiley because he cant stop smiling the same with me. Toru is Vanish. Bakugo is Meanie. Tenya is Control Freak. Koda is... mountain head? Tokoyami is bird or should it be Roster? He looks like a roster. Shoto, half 'n' half. Mineta is Grape Juice. Yaoyoroza is Yomama, she gives off a mother like aura so that's why and her name is a little too hard to say.'
"Its the first day and you're already disrespecting school property you Cretan!" Ida said, with me blinking as they were still on this conversation.
"You're kidding me right? Your old school put a stick up your ass or were you born with it!?" Bakugo taunted, with me knowing that the names I had given them had been correct.
"Also, someone's at the door." I said, looking over at the kid who was hiding at the doorway, with me waving at them with a smile.
"Its him." Ida said, with me blinking as I didn't know who this kid was, but by the reactions of others it appeared that he had made a great impression on others, and that was what I was going to call him.
Impressionist.
"Uh, Hi!" He said, looking up at the ceiling as he was nervous.
'Yep, Impressionist it is!' I thought as I smiled even more. 'Its impossible to tell what kind of quirk he has at the moment, but his hair is funny looking!' I thought while holding in a laugh.
"Good morning, my name is Tenya Ida!" Ida said as he started approaching Impressionist like a machine.
"Yeah, I know!" The Impressionist said, making Ida stop in his tracks. "I'm Izuku Midoriya, its super nice to meet you!" He said as he started to calm down.
"Midoriya... you realized there was something more to the practical exams, didn't you?" Ida asked, with me knowing he was talking about the enemy defeat score points and the rescue score points.
It was a test of heroism and all of the Pro Hero's who are here watched everything that happened. Hero's are more than people who have super powers, but are people who save people in their times of need. Makes me think of the feeling I am always feeling, the feeling I get from Toga. The hero's told me that they found her and told them that she was perfectly fine. But I know better than that as its a constant strain on her and because its a strain on her its a strain on me as well. She wasn't smiling, she was hurting.
"You must be very perceptive, and I completely misjudge you. I admit, as a student you are far superior to me!" Ida said, pointing both hands at him at chest level while looking away from him with a strained look on his face.
"Hey, I recognize that messed up hair." I heard from out in the hall, but I couldn't tell who it was and it was most likely our last member of the class. "Falling Boy!" She said, with me changing his nickname to Falling Boy as Impressionist was a bit too long and it gave some insight to his quirk, or at least I thought it did as I couldn't tell still.
'So, Falling Boy, he must of jumped or flew up some how. Maybe its a muscle quirk only in his legs or he can only fly for so long? For him to have a muscle quirk in his legs only he would have to be able to kick super hard. But if he can fly, what kid of side effect could he have that would send him falling?' I thought with a smile.
"If you're just here to make friends then you can pack up your stuff now." A new but older voice spoke, with me tilting my head as I was curious on who he was. "It was most likely our teacher, which made things even more interesting. "Welcome to UA's Hero Course." He said as I leaned as far left as I could to see what he looked like, but couldn't see him due to Ida, Izuku and the girl. Seeing them back up, I got a better look at him, with me recognizing him.
The Eraser Hero, Eraser Head.
"It took you eight seconds for you to quiet down, that's not going to work." He said, with me sitting right once more. "Time is precious, rational students would understand that." He said, with me smiling as he was right, time was precious. Seeing him look at the rest of us, his eyes landed on me. "Hello, my name is Shoto Aizawa, your teacher." He said, shocking them as they had yet to figure it out. "Also, Dakota, while you're here you are to keep on this blind fold at all times, you know why." He said, with me nodding as he tossed a Black Blind fold my way, with me putting it on right away, turning everything black for me. "Right, lets get to it. Put these on and head outside." I heard, with me hearing something getting dropped onto my desk, most likely whatever it was that he wanted us to wear.
Later
"What, a quirk assessment test!?" Everyone questioned as we stood outside waiting to be told what to do.
"But orientation, we're going to miss it!" The girl, Ochaco Uraraka, said, sounding saddened about the news.
"If you want to make the big leagues then you cant waist time on pointless ceremonies." Aizawa said, with me agreeing with him but the thing was that I didn't want to make it into the big leagues, I just wanted to make everyone smile! "Here at UA, we're not tethered to traditions." He said, with me placing my hands behind my head. "That means I get to run my class however I see fit." He said, making all of us uneasy. "You've been taking standardized tests most of your lives, but you never got to use your quirks in physical exams before." He said, with me smiling as that was true, we all had to hold back due to this. "The country is still trying to pretend we're all created equal and by not letting those with most power excel. Its not rational. One day the ministry of education will learn." He said, with me placing my arms back down. "Bakugo, you managed to get the most points in the entrance exam. What was your farthest distance throw with a softball when you were in junior high?"
"Sixty seven meters I think." He answered, with me wondering what it would be now that we could use our quirks.
"Right, try doing it with your quirk." Aizawa said, with me getting pumped by the thought of it. "Anything goes, just stay in the circle." I heard, followed by footsteps. "Go on, you're wasting our time." He said, with me wondering what was going to happen.
"Alright man, you asked for it." Bakugo said, sounding a bit cocky.
Hearing a boom, I covered my ears as I wasn't expecting an explosion to come out of a throw. "All of you need to know your maximum capabilities, its the most rational way of finding out your potential as a Pro Hero's." Aizawa said, getting surprised sounds from everyone but me as I didn't know what happened or what he did.
"Seven hundred and five meters, are you kidding me?" Kaminari said, with me knowing what all the excitement was about now, making me grin as that was impressive.
"I want to go, that sounds like fun!" Ashido said in excitement
"This is what I'm talking about, using our quirks as much as we want!" Sero added with joy.
"So this looks fun, huh?" Aizawa questioned, making me lose my smile at the tone he had just given us. It was a serious dark tone, like he had seen the horror's of life and came back alive. He probably did or something like that. "You have three years here to become a hero. You think its going to be all games and play time? Idiots. Today you will engage in eight physical tests to gage your potential. Whoever comes in last has none, and will be expelled immediately." He said, shocking me at his words as I didn't expect to lose a classmate this soon, or ever really. "Like I said, I get to decide how this class runs! Understand!?" He questioned, with me getting angry at his words. "If that's a problem, then you can head home right now!" He challenged, with me gripping my fists in anger.
"That doesn't sound fair to me." I said, gaining his attention. "Yes, this is your class and you have the right to teach it the way you see fit. But, you are over looking a small detail." I said, crossing my arms. "Without students to be taught here at UA Academy, even if you expel them for no reason, and one as stupid as this, the school will lose funding in the process, hurting hits reputation. Yes, it can be argued that this is a secondary test to enter, but you still have the students from the other classes that need to or would take said test as you called it. If they don't take this test and stay, who's to stop the ones who were expelled from suing UA for unfair treatment? To put it simple, if everyone failed, that would mean that this school has failed its students and doesn't care about the hero program in a whole, but a quarter." I said, knowing I was getting under his skin due to him tisking. "You, Mr. Aizawa, only see the bad in people you first meet, and I understand this due to your history as the Eraser Hero, but you must also see the good that is inside them. No matter who they are, there is still good inside them, you just have to reach deep within and pull them out. This also goes for you. I don't know what happened to make you this way, but please take it into consideration that we are more than just kids who want to be hero's, we are students who are still kids doing our best to become hero's."
"Are you done?" Aizawa questioned, sounding annoyed, making me puff my cheeks out but nodded. "Good, and while I do see your point, and you see mine, let me add more onto the subject. You said that it wasn't fair, but neither are natural disasters, power hungry villain's, and catastrophic accidents that wipe out whole cities. The world is full of unfairness, its a hero's job to combat that unfairness. If you're going to go pro, you're going to have to push yourself to the brink. For the next three years UA will throw one hardship after another at you. So go beyond, Plus Ultra Style." He said, where I wasn't sure if I had gotten through to him or not. "It was fair game that you all passed the entrance exam, yes, I admit that. So, show me that it was no mistake that you are here, and depending on your score, last or not, you may or may not leave." He said, making me smile as I did actually get through to him. "Now then, we're just wasting time by talking, let the games begin." He said, with me nodding as this should be fun.
Test 1: 50 Meter Dash
"Runners, on your mark!" The Robot at the end said as I was guided over to the spot and faced forward. Hopping up and down, I started feeling lighter with each time I touched the ground. Phantom, one of my signature moves. By jumping up and down, and dragging out the noise so that the sound of my feet tapping on the ground isn't heard until after my feet leave ground. "Ready! Bang!"
Once the sound lag was at its fullest, I shot forward, producing a sonic boom. Because I moved faster than the eye can see, I wasn't sure if the robot caught me as I reached the end. According to my calculations, the time it would take to travel 50 meters while moving faster than one can blink, I should of scored 0.000000167 seconds. But, I had to let the bot say otherwise.
"0.01 seconds!" I heard, with me glaring at it as it started from the hundredth place.
'I'll have to accept it for now, even if it is a cheep robot.' I thought with a smile as I looked back at my running partner, seeing Uraraka was still quite a ways away.
Test 2: Grip Strength
"Squeeze this." Aizawa said as he place the griping machine in my hand. Giving it a squeeze, it beeped. "Six hundred eighty three." He said, making me smile at my strength.
Test 3: Standing Long Jump
Standing still, I jumped as far as I could. Once I landed, I didn't feel any sand, with me getting grabbed and dragged away, with me hearing cheers soon after, making me cheer as well.
Test 4: Repeated Side Steps
"This is fun!" I said, jumping side to side like a rabbit, smiling the entire time.
"THIS ISN'T A GAME?!" Aizawa yelled in annoyance, making me laugh even more.
Test 5: Ball Throw
Being placed in the circle, a ball was placed in my hand. "You better get used to being blind quick, I don't want to do this the entire time you're here." Aizawa said, making me laugh at his words as he was right about that. "Throw." He said, stepping away from me by the sound of his footsteps.
"Okay!" I said, getting into position. How to Throw a Baseball. For any baseball pitcher, learning how to throw a baseball faster will greatly increase your effectiveness. While increasing your pitching velocity is not the only quality necessary for a great pitcher, it is one of the most important. At the end of the day, the same things that will make you a pitcher with more velocity are the things that make you a great pitcher. This is in the same method on throwing this ball as far as I could possibly throw it.
Many people have heard that "your power comes from your legs," and while this is partially true, it doesn't tell the whole story. Your legs generate a lot of power, yes, but it only helps your throw if you can transmit that power through the bottom up. Accordingly, powerful throwers know that they must focus on their entire body to throw well.
First: Plant your left foot in front of your body.
Second: Point your shoulders in line with the target, because I have no target to see, or one at all, I'm just hoping for the best.
Third: Bring the ball behind you.
Fourth: Push off the back foot as you start to throw!
Fifth: Rotate your hips and shoulders towards the target!
Sixth: Release as the ball passes your head!
Hearing a boom soon after I had let the ball go, I felt the wind get pushed back towards me, making me smirk as I knew that it was a good throw. Hearing a beep after a few moments, I looked over at it. "Seven hundred twenty." Aizawa said, shocking everyone and impressing myself as I had beat Bakugo. "Honestly, I thought you would of thrown further." He said, shocking me at his words. "But whatever, next up, Uraraka." He said, with me walking in the direction of where the footsteps came from.
As I walked, I held my hand out and waited for someone to grab it. Once I touched someone, their shoulder, I turned around and faced where I had came from. After a good bit, there was a beep, followed by everyone screaming. "INFINITY!?" They said, shocking me as I thought that I would of gotten first, but was proven wrong. She used her quirk to make it weightless and tossed it into space.
'Her quirk is amazing, she has potential.' I thought with a smile while placing my hands behind my back.
"Midoriya." Aizawa said, with me hearing them stepping forward forward.
'So far, he's had the lowest scores of all of us. I think that this was the person that Aizawa was targeting. From the whispers of the others, it was clear that he had made a great impression on them, but with no clue on his quirk, it was impossible to tell what it was that made him special. What was the mystory of the boy known as Izuku Midoriya?' I thought, smiling at the thought. Hearing something to the right of me, and away from everyone else, I looked over in that direction and waved like a mad man before focusing back on what was in front of me, even though I couldn't see.
"If Midoriya doesn't shape up soon, he's the one who's going home." Ida said, with me nodding as his points were low.
"Of course he is, he's a quirkless loser?!" Bakugo yelled, shocking me at the news he just spilled.
"Quirkless? So that's the mystery." I said as I looked at him then back at Midoriya.
"He has a quirk!" Ida said, adding more to the story. "Did you not hear what he did in the entrance exam?" Ida questioned, with me shaking my head as I didn't hear.
After a bit, it was still silent, with me leaning towards Ida. "What happened, has he thrown it yet?" I asked as I couldn't tell and it was taking a while.
"You... erased my quirk!" Midoriya said, with me knowing what happened now.
'So... his quirk is dangerous to the point that Aizawa erased his quirk.' I thought with a frown. 'Just what is his quirk?' I thought as I rubbed my chin in thought.
"I wonder if our teacher gave him some advice." Ida said, with me knowing that wasn't the case. He wanted to break his spirit for some reason, and it wasn't right.
"Probably told him to start packing." Bakugo said, with me shaking my head.
"That's probably the case, both of you. Yet, the mystery is what makes him special that Aizawa would erase his quirk only and not the others?" I said, with me getting a hum from Ida. After another minute or so, there was another boom, with me hearing gasps from everyone. 'So, he has a strength based quirk, but the fact that Bakugo said that he didn't have one makes it even more interesting. Was there history between the two or not?'
"He threw it over seven hundred meters!" Kaminari said, with me smiling at his accomplishment.
"Nice, he's finally showing us his true power?!" Uraraka cheered, with me nodding as there was more to him than meets the eye.
"But his finger appears to be broken now, just like in the exam. His quirk is very odd." Ida added, with me raising an eyebrow at the news.
"It wasn't a very pretty throw." Aoyama said, with me shaking my head at his comment.
"HEY!?" I heard, knowing that Bakugo was pissed. "DEKU YOU BASTARD, TELL ME HOW YOU DID THAT OR YOU'RE DEAD!?" He yelled, making me sigh as she blasted his self towards Midoriya, and by the nickname, proved my theory that they knew each other before hand.
"Stand down!" Aizawa said, with me knowing he had stopped Bakugo from going off. "It would be wise to keep me from using my quirk so much! It gives me serious dry eye!" He said, making me face palm at his weakness. "Whoever's next, go!" He called out, with Uraraka moving over to talk to Midoriya.
Test 6: Sit Up's
"I don't think I've ever had someone spot me while I did sit ups before." I told Tsuyu as she held my feet.
"Really? At my old school, it was common!" She said, with me humming in thought as I thought about what other schools were like.
Test 7: Seated Toe-Touch
"Wow, you're REALLY flexible!?" Tsuyu said as my head was between my legs while I reached all the way forward, touching the ground with ease.
Test 8: Long Distance run
"First place!" I said, having already reached Aizawa as soon as he said go, with him hitting me upside the head, making me laugh at his actions.
Later
"Alright, time to give you your results." Aizawa said as we all gathered up together. "I've ranked you from best to worst." He said, with me curious on if Midoriya was getting kicked out or not. "You should probably have a good idea on your standing already. I'll just pull up the whole list, its not worth going over each and every individual score." He said, with me hearing a beep, with me guessing he was showing us our scores. "Congrats, no one is going home." He said, with me smiling as he did make it, and now he had the chance to become a hero. "It was a rational motivator to make sure that you all give it your all on the test!" He said, with me knowing he was lying to us. "That's it, we're done for the day!" He said, where I heard him walking away.
"Can I take off my blind fold?!" I questioned, curious if I needed it now or not.
"No, that's your personal training, but only on school grounds!" He called back, making me groan as this was going to get annoying. "Pick up a syllabus from the class, read it over before tomorrow morning!" He said, with me hearing the others walking away, with me groaning as everyone was already gone, meaning I had to find my own way back to class.

AN
There's the next chapter. If you're wondering why he is blind folded, its to make him less over powered. His greatest strength is his eyes, that that away and he's weakened down a bit. That and I wanted to add some comedy into his character other than animals being terrified of him and making him cry his eyes out. I cant wait for a chapter where he hangs out with Koji, that's going to be fun.
IF you see him as a Mary Sue, so be it.
Anyways, Happy Holiday's
