Hitsugaya flared up, looking at the blood on Hinamori's hands. He
released Hyourinmaru with a flourish and slung it at Ichimaru, rage
controlling his blows. How dare Ichimaru hurt Momo!
Ichimaru grinned, dodging Hitsugaya's blows easily. He released his zanpakutou, and immediately called out Shinsou's true name. Aimaru Shinsou. A simple name, just like his own. Hitsugaya didn't know what hit him.
Hitsugaya woke up with a groan. "You okay?" he heard someone ask him.
"I've been better."
He sat up, and realized he was in a fourth squad bed...but why was Ichimaru sitting in bed next to him?
