Walking out of my room, I made my way over to the living room, where I looked around the corner and saw my dad. He was in a wheelchair, one bad leg, one bad arm. He was watching TV, his back to me. "Dad?" I called out, with him turning to look at me with a glair, with me hiding behind the corner even more so that I could hide. "T-todays the day!" I said, with him narrowing his eyes at me. "Y-you know... the UA sports festival?" I reminded, with him scoffing at that and looking back at the TV. "W-will you be going?"

"No, now piss off!" He said, with me looking down and going back the way I came.

I didn't go back to my room, instead, I walked over to my sister's room. Knocking on it, the door opened on its own, not closed in the slightest. My sister was standing behind a fake head with its brain exposed, two needles in each hand. She was covered up like a surgen would be when they would be doing surgery, the only difference being that her mask had two hands covering one another on it. Her hair was darker than mine, way darker, almost pitch black.

She looked up at me, a board expression on her face as she looked at me. "What is it, can't you see that I am in the middle of something?" She asked, standing perfectly still.

"Um... UA's festival is today... are you-"

"No, now close the door, but leave it slightly open!" She ordered, with me nodding and doing just that.

"She may be younger than me, but she sure is bossy." I said, nearly running to the last room.

Once there, I knocked on it, with it opening not long after. "Oh, my dear brother starts the UA festival today!" My brother said, hugging the crap out of me, with me returning the hug.

"Yep, that's me!" I said, having a hard time talking by the strength of the hug.

Breaking it, my brother backed away, showing me that he also had black hair like my sister, but was extremely long, much like Midnight. "I spoke to Aunt Nemuri on the phone not long ago, she wants you to head over there straight away once you are dressed!" He said, with me nodding, but then I tilted my head at him.

"Will you be going to the UA sports festival?" I asked, with him giving me a thumbs up.

"You can count on me! I will drag our family out of this house, even if its the last thing I do!" He said, making me smile at his words. "I know mom couldn't be here to see this, but I know that she would be proud!" He said, with me nodding at his words.

"Then I will head over to Aunt Nemuri's right away!" I said, giving him a salute, with him doing the same.

"Gods speed!" He said, with me running down the hall towards the door.

"No running in the house!" Dad called out, with me speed walking instead.

I have only one parent, but he is sick. My father has GBS, Guillain-Barre-Syndrome. It shuts down one's nervous system. My father used to be a cop, even without a quirk. On patrol, he met mom and it was how they started dating. Mom was also quirkless, so the chance of any of us having a quirk were slim to none. After a few years, Dad couldn't look at us, saying that we looked too much like her and he shut us out. Andrew took it upon him to take moms and dads place, and he did with a little help from Aunt Nemuri after he was diagnosed with GBS.

My brother, Andrew, is always cheerful, no matter what. When he makes a mistake, he doesn't get angry, when someone makes a mess, he doesn't get angry. We later found out that he was incapable of anger, but all other emotions were still there. He was tall, twice my age and loved his hair. I still remember him freaking out when someone touches it. He doesn't get angry, he just screams, runs and then starts brushing it one hundred times. He says that it helps him cope with being unable to get angry, which is funny at times.

My twin sister, Sammantha, may not have a quirk, but she works harder than anyone in the house. She has been working hard at trying to reverse everything that has been going on with dad, to ensure that he doesn't die. She was barley born when mom died, they had to cut her out to insure she survived, and survived she did. I'm glad she did, because it would feel like I was missing someone close to me. She didn't apply to UA, but PASA, better known as Private Aichi Symbiosis Academy. It isn't a hero school, but a normal one like my middle school days.

My Aunt Nemuri on the other hand, is a special person in our family. She is both a teacher and a hero, who works at UA. Her hero name?

Midnight.

Later

"Aw, man!" Mina said from next to me while I was doing my stretches.

"Everyone will be in uniform, and even if we could, it wouldn't be fair to the others who don't have costumes." I answered, knowing that with gear like Bakugo's would destroy everyone before they could start.

"I wonder what they have set up for us?" Sato said nervously, with me looking at his direction as I knew but couldn't say.

"No matter what they have, we must preserver." Tokoyami said, with me nodding and going back to my stretches, up until the door busted open.

"Everyone, get your game faces on, we're entering the arena soon!" Ida said, with me taking it that he was the one who came bursting through the door.

"Midoriya." I heard Todoroki, with me bending down and touching my toes without bending my knees. I knew this had gained everyone's attention, because Icey Hot wasnt one to walk up to someone and question them. "From an objective standpoint, I think it is clear that I am stronger than you." He said, with me standing up straight as I knew what this was. "However, you have All Might in your corner helping you out." He said, with me tilting my head as it was strange that All Might would be helping him out, but it was also obvious as they had the same quirk in a way. "I'm not here to pry about what is going on about you two, but know that I will beat you, and Dakota." He said, with me pointing at myself.

"Me?" I asked, not knowing that I was also in this conversation. "I don't plan on going to round three, just the first two." I said, with everyone looking at me. "UA's sports festival usually consists of three stages. The first two are your normal sports but boosted up to make it more interesting for the people. The third stage is one on one combat, with some twists here and there. Because I would easily win, and let's face it, I would as I can counter all of you as most of you know, I don't plan to go past stage two to make it more interesting down the line. Not only that, but when we get out license, we will go up against other schools and that will cause more problems for us down the line." I said, knowing everyone was looking at me. "Don't show off everything, because it gives the enemy an advantage." I said, stretching my arms out.

"You've really thought that far ahead?" Momo asked, with me nodding. "I never thought of it like that, and it would indeed make everything harder for everyone seeing as the sports festival is broadcasted live." Momo said, with everyone looking around at the others, thinking about what to do about everything.

"All of the other courses, they are coming for us." Deku said, with me looking in his direction. "To hold back, is to lose our spot. Sure, you, Todoroki and Bakugo are the strongest people here, but that doesn't give you the right to hold back against us. So, you can hold back, but once you lose your spot in the 1A, that is on you." Deku said, with me shrugging my shoulders.

"If they get far in the sports festival, then they deserve to be in the hero course." I said, with him looking at me. "Sir Nighteye, All Might's previous sidekick, can see into the future. He doesn't have a strength or super powerful ability, it was his hard work that got him where he is, not his quirk. If they deserve it, then they better work for it." I said, walking over to him, flipping out my walking stick and using it to help me reach him. Once I hit his foot, I stopped. "Don't think that just because I'm backing out at stage three, that it means that I'm holding back. No, I will beat the first two stages with flying colors." I said, with me holding my hand out to him. "I expect great things from you, everyone." I said, smiling at him as he shook my hand.

Later

"Hey, make some noise rabid sports fans!" I heard Present Mic, with me following behind Momo and Shoji, with us walking down the hall. I wasnt wearing my blindfold, as I was given permission from Aizawa himself that I could remove it for now. "Get those cameras ready because we are going to bring you sports festival history guarantee! I only got one question before we start this show, are you ready!?" Present Mic yelled, with us coming to a stop at the entrance.

"How do think this is going to go down?" I asked, with Momo looking at me.

"Honestly, I couldn't tell you." She said, looking forward.

"If I'm going to be honest, I would say that more than half of us are nervous." Shoji said, with me nodding as that was a good point.

Even I was nervous, but deep down, I could feel Toga's excitement. Was she watching from somewhere? Did she know what was going on? Or... was she out killing someone else. Her emotions ran wild inside me, and I had a feeling that she could feel my emotions as well. It was maddening at times, but it was still calming down over time.

"Let me hear you scream as our students make their way to the main stage!" Present Mic called out, with us walking once more. "This first group doesn't need any introduction. You know this first group for withstanding a villain attack, dazzling your TV's with solid gold skills. The hero course students of Class 1A!" Present Mic yelled, with me looking around.

"Momo, Shoji." I said, with them looking at me. "I wish you both the best of luck, everyone really." I said, looking at the civilian section and seeing my family. My dad looked board, my sister was reading her book, and my brother was waving like a madman, making me smile and wave at them in turn.

"And they may not be getting as much screen time, but this next group is still full of talent. Welcome Hero course class 1B!" He said, with me looking over at class 1B for the first time.

The first one has long black hair, spiked upwards and backward to his left, and rounded gray eyes, tilted inwards. He is wearing a wide, zigzag patterned headband around his forehead, pulled down quite low, to keep his hair out of his eyes.

The second one is a young man of medium height with dark, shaggy hair, and dark eyes, which are rather thin and lazy-looking. He seems to have a modest athletic build, the same as most of his classmates, and a slight tan.

The third is a tall, slender young man with pale yellow-green skin and a bright, fluffy green mohawk. His dark green eyes are pointed downwards to the center of his face, and two hooked blades jut out from either of his cheeks. He has no visible nose, and the shape of his head resembles that of praying mantis with mandibles.

The fourth is a tall young man with fluffy white hair and black eyes, which are long and thin in shape. His most prominent feature is his pitch-black skin, its an unusual color, most likely due to the Quirk he possesses.

The fifth is a girl of medium height and has a slim build. She has teal eyes and long orange hair that she tied into a high ponytail on the left side of her head. Her bangs are split into three clumps around her eyes, and some of her hair sticks up in large tufts at the top of her head.

The sixth is a young girl with shoulder-length, bob-shaped hair, side-swept to her right with some shorter strands hanging above her eyes. She has fair skin, an athletic build, cerulean eyes, and she's usually seen wearing a neutral expression on her face.

The seventh is a short girl of a rather thin build, with honey brown hair, curved inwards in a mushroom-shaped bob that reaches just below her narrow shoulders. She has a long fringe that completely covers her eyes, hiding most of her face, and her mouth is notably large.

The eighth was someone I knew from my previous school, her name is Ibara. She is of medium height with green, thorn-covered vines for hair, one set wrapped around her forehead a couple of times in the shape of a cross. Because of her Quirk, she can grow them at will but she likes to keep her vines at a reasonably manageable length: just above her waist. Her eyes are squinted and dark green with long lower eyelashes.

The ninth is a tall young man with a very beastly appearance. He has shaggy, brown, hair, covering most of his body. He has sharp teeth and his large jaw sticks out a fair amount, with two of his lower canines poking upwards from between his lips. He also wears small, rectangular glasses with thick black lenses.

The tenth is a chubby young man of average height, with short, ice-blue hair and a round face. He has large, wide eyes with small pupils, seems a little sheepish; his eyebrows are also pointed upwards.

The eleventh is a short girl with a round face and a short equine muzzle, her face framed by thick, wavy blonde hair which reaches halfway down her back, some shorter bangs hanging down her forehead. Her eyes are large and round, Prussian blue in color, and she has a pair of tall, lyre-shaped pale tan horns on her head. Her calves are notably rounded, shaped similarly to those of a horse, and she has brown hooves for feet, and a short horse tail poking out from the end of her tailbone.

The twelfth is a young man with short brown hair, spiked up at odd angles on his head. His eyes are oval-shaped, along with his large pupils.

The thirteenth is a young man with quite long, chin length, messy gray hair which is rather peculiar in that it never seems to change shape, and black eyes which are tilted dramatically inwards, each lined with a very thick, jagged, tan-colored substance, which are presumably his eyelashes. He doesn't appear to have any notable eyebrows, and, like Eijiro Kirishima, he has rows of sharp, pointed teeth.

The fourteenth was Setsuna, also a recommended student. She is of average height who has surprisingly large, upturned dusky green eyes with long lower eyelashes, and notably long and pointed teeth. Her hair is a dark moss green, collectively reaching just below her shoulders aside from a short clump that hangs in the center of her forehead, and it grows wavier and thinner the lower down it gets.

The fifteenth is a very short young man with fair skin and a blank, pale-white speech bubble as a head and neck.

The sixteenth is Juzo, also a recommended student. He is pale-skinned with angular eyes, mid-length spiked hair of beige color, a flat nose and small eyebrows. His most unusual feature is his teeth, which sit on the outside of his skin. He has no discernible lips, giving him a skull-like appearance, though this is not related to his Quirk in any readily apparent way.

The seventeenth is a tall young man who is large and muscular in stature, possessing very wide shoulders in comparison to his slender waist and unusually sizeable hands. His skin is a yellow straw-like color, and his head is shaped somewhat like a glue-dispenser with a lappet on top, along with seven "eye-holes" on his face.

The eighteenth is a young man of average height with slick blond hair, which gets shorter the further down his head it goes, styled so that it's parted to the right, his bangs left hanging over his right eye. His irises are a periwinkle blue, his pupils white and his eyes are shaped so that they're slanting downwards towards the far sides of his face, usually left half-closed, this, along with his signature smirk and head tilt, giving him a rather contemptuous look.

The nineteenth has chin-length, pale gray hair, parted to the left, hanging down over her eye and obscuring the majority of the left side of her face. She has dark bags under her blue eyes, and a small mouth with full lips. Her hands are held up as high as her elbows, with her hands draped down, this gesture being somewhat connotative of a ghost. At the same time, I couldn't help but think both spooky and cute, followed by a wave of deja vu.

The last one has lightly tanned skin and black hair, reaching roughly down to his shoulders, which he wears in a low braid. His eyes are shaped like those of a reptile, and his irises are notably small.

"Next us, General studies classes C, D and E!" Present Mic said, with me looking at them, with me only seeing one interesting person amongst them. He is a young man with messy, indigo-colored hair that flares out in large tufts around his head and notably straight teeth. His eyes are purple with white pupils, and are thin and somewhat triangular in shape, pointing downward, with no visible eyelashes. They're usually half-closed, and he has very dark eye bags underneath them.

'The way that some of our classmates are looking at him, tells me that he is the one that declared war against us. I was out talking with Midnight at the time, so I didn't get to hear what he said.' I thought, looking over at the others.

"Support course, F, G and H!" Present Mic said, with me looking at them, seeing that some of them were wearing gear, and I knew it was fine because Support course was allowed to use said items if the built them. The one that stood out the most is a reasonably short girl with quite a mature build. She has salmon pink hair, which is shoulder-length, which is styled into thick dreadlocks and side-swept to her right. Her eyes are wide and sloped upwards with some notably long upper eyelashes, their irises green-yellow with a cross in the center, making them look somewhat like scope lenses. "And finally business course, I, J and K!" Present Mic said, with me looking forward as we came to a stop.

"Now the introductory begin!" Midnight said, with me seeing that she was wearing her hero costume. The boys were excited, as well as the male audience, the females on the other hand, not so much but hey, its who she is.

"She could at least show some modesty." Momo said, with me smiling at that.

"I guess, but its who she is, its hard to change that." I said, with her nodding her head with a face palm.

"Silence!" Midnight said, swinging her arm out. "Now for our pledge, Katsuki Bakugo!" She said, with me looking at him, seeing that the ones around him were shocked at that bit of news.

Watching him walk towards the stand that Midnight was on, everyone was talking amongst themselves, with me placing my hands behind my back as I waited for him to start, then peeked over at that ghost girl, with me seeing her look my way for a second and then looking forward, which I did the same. "I just want to say, I'm going to win!" Bakugo said into the mic, getting everyone angry.

'Idiot.' I thought as I shook my head as everyone yelled at him. Looking up at the stands, I saw my father had gained some interest from his small speech. He was always one to declare something like that back in the day, so seeing him gain some interest was an accomplishment.

"Without further ado, its time for us to get started!" Midnight said, with me looking at her, seeing that Bakugo had already stepped down and was about to announce the first stage. "This is where you start feeling the pain, the first faithful game of the festival!" She said, with a screen popping up, with it showing us what we were about to do. "What could it be?" She asked, looking at it, with me rolling my neck as I already knew that it was an Obstacle Race.

"Momo, team up on the first course?" I asked, with her looking at me with a raised eyebrow.

"Why, its not like we can work together?" She asked, with me looking at her.

"You already know how powerful I am and can get us through this with ease. I don't plan to get first, I plan to get somewhere around ten or so. Its only temporary, I would say the third obstacle is free game from there." I said, with her raising an eyebrow at me.

"Why stop there?" She questioned, then got a thoughtful expression on her face. "Wait, what you said earlier, that's why!" She said, with me nodding. She smirked at that. "Fine, the first two obstacles we work together, then after that, we go our separate ways." She said, with me nodding and holding my hand out, with her shaking it.

We made our way towards the doorway, with me knowing that Todoroki would try to freeze everyone in place. "Are you ready?" I asked, wrapping an arm around Momos waist, with her wrapping hers around my shoulders.

"Yeah!" She said, both of us smirking at our team up opportunity.

"BEGIN!" Midnight yelled, and just like that.
