Chapter 9 - Friends Don't Leave Friends
Tower of Heaven, With Natsu's group
"Hey Natsu, Lucy gave me a couple of cards!" Happy spoke up.
Natsu grinned, "Sweet! Did she get me a Pikachu?" he asked.
"Not those kind of cards Natsu." Happy replied.
"Dark Magician?" Natsu asked.
Jaguar Man groaned loudly, "He means class cards you idiot!" she said before grabbing a card from Happy and slapping it onto Natsu.
Soon enough, Natsu was surrounded by energy before his attire was changed. He was shirtless and had various tattoos on his arms and carried two different weapons in each hand that were chained together. Natsu grinned as he felt a lot of strength coursing throughout his body.
"I'm fired up! Who is this guy!?" Natsu asked excitedly.
"It's Beowulf, a Berserker who killed giant monsters and a dragon right before he died from old age." Jaguar Man answered.
"Then this guy must be really tough! Come on guys!" Natsu said as he ran in a random direction.
With the other group, a few minutes later
After listening to Jellal's speech. Everyone was unsettled and rather afraid of how deranged Jellal had become. To force the Magic Council into firing an etherion cannon and act as if this was a game. Then suddenly, Sho surprised Erza by trapping her inside of a card with his magic.
"I won't let him lay a finger on her." Sho said.
"Let me out of here!" Erza demanded.
"I'll beat Jellal all by myself!" Sho claimed as he tried to run off on his own.
Only for Lucy to trap him in a magic cube, "No you won't. I don't want to be mean, but you aren't really strong enough to go on your own and your magic isn't good enough for combat. If you can't break through that cube, then you can't face Jellal on your own by running like an idiot." she said.
"You're wrong!" Sho claimed as he tried to bash down the cube with his shoulder.
"Sho, you need to listen to Lucy! If Jellal is working with dark forces, then no doubt he has his hands on servants who could easily defeat you without blinking." Erza stated.
Simon confirmed this, "She's right Sho, we only defeated Erza due to her shock and those heroic spirits Jellal has access to are very powerful." he said before Sho was restrained and had Erza removed from his possession.
"Magic Cancel!" Lucy casted as Erza was freed from her prison.
"Thank you Lucy." Erza said before the group had to formulate a plan.
From the looks of it, there was a limited amount of time before the council would open fire on the tower. So one of their goals was to obviously find Natsu and Happy. Especially since Natsu would most likely try to find and challenge Jellal to a fight. Another thing was trying to find an escape route since there were too many of them in the tower to begin with. So it would be much more difficult for everyone to escape when the time came to leave.
Leaving everyone to split up into individual groups.
With Lucy and Juvia
"Natsu!"
"Salamander!"

"Salamander!"
"Where is he? That sensitive hearing of his." Lucy said.
"Yes, just like Gajeel-kun." Juvia replied.
"Gajeel-kun huh?" Lucy asked.
"We're good friends and you should consider distancing yourself from Gray-sama." Juvia said as her jealousy would die hard.
Lucy groaned, "Juvia are you really going to force my hand?" she asked.
"If it means my beloved Gray-sama stays with me. Then it is all worth it." Juvia stated only for Lucy to raise her hand over the rain woman's head.
Suddenly Lucy hit Juvia on the head, "Grail chop!" she yelled as Juvia fell and nursed her head. "Juvia, I'm not gonna bother keeping up the charade. I. Do. Not. Like. Gray." she said in short words. "I prefer men who don't run around butt naked or break into other people's houses." she added.
"Well you're just jealous that Gray-sama groped me and not you." Juvia said as she cried anime tears as her head hurt badly.
Lucy made a face that lacked emotion, "First, that's just disturbing. Second, why would any girl be ok with some guy grabbing their ass?" she asked.
"He grabbed my breast, not my buttox Lucy." Juvia stated with a smirk.
Lucy's eyebrow twitched, "Then why would I try to steal a married man? If he grabbed your breast then you most likely accepted his hand in marriage." she replied.
Juvia was about to continue to argue when she blushed, "Marriage?" she asked.
"Juvia, it's an old law. I had to pick up on them when I wanted to become a mage." Lucy said as she entered lecture mode. "Basically back in the X640s or something, some prideful queen wanted to marry some dude who only liked women that were commoners since he was also a commoner. Instead one day, he was brought before the queen who wanted to seduce him and he tripped and grabbed her breasts." she explained.
Juvia blushed, "Oh my! Did he get executed or was this the beginning of love?" she asked hoping towards the latter.
"Well the guards wanted to kill him, but the queen made it a new law. Stating that grabbing of the breasts was a new method of proposing to a girl. It also got rid of a lot of perverts that way." Lucy explained as she didn't want to finish that story. "Though, the law technically states that the man can cancel his proposal if the girl or her guardian reject the man. That and the man has three days to grope the same girl." she added.
"But Gray-sama only grabbed one breast!" Juvia said sadly.
"Then he has about a week to cancel it by grabbing the same breast." Lucy replied as Juvia became happy again.
"Then that means Gray-sama are destined to be together! He grabbed my bosom over three weeks ago!" Juvia said excitedly as Lucy giggled.
"I guess you don't need to worry about other women since he belongs to you now." Lucy said as Juvia was daydreaming of her wedding day.
However the wedding bells going off in Juvia's head were replaced by the sounds of bad guitar playing. With Lucy, they looked at a water pipe and listened closely as the guitar playing got louder before a Gene Simmon's impersonator came down the water pipe.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! You ladies dig my music!?" Taka asked.
"I take it you're one of the three knights Jellal has mentioned?" Juvia asked.
"I am Vidaldus Taka! The wing of Trinity Raven!" Taka yelled as he kept playing on his electric guitar.
From there, the bad musician proceeded to manipulate his hair into attacking Lucy who avoided the attacks while Juvia literally phased through it. Which surprised Taka as Juvia explained that she can become water. Which further helped Juvia as she was able to surprise Taka with one of her spells.
"Water Lock!" Juvia casted as Taka was trapped in a bubble made of water.
However Taka broke out as his hair absorbed it, "Oh man, it's nice to give the hair a good wash." he said.
"How did you break my water lock?" Juvia asked with a surprised face.
"Oh that? My hair absorbs it like a sponge. Now then, which one of you ladies is going to be my succubus?" Taka asked.
Lucy chose not to stand around and wait for his next move, "Random Ball!" she yelled as Taka pointed at Juvia.
"You... what the hell!?" Taka asked as he duck out of the way. "You be shooting at guys with spells, you gonna die a lonely cat lady." he said making a tick mark appear on Lucy's forehead.
"I am choosing to ignore that." Lucy said she said as kept firing more spells. "Fire Storm!" she casted as Taka tried to keep playing his guitar to use his succubus spell only to get cooked to a crisp.
"Hey I said water is good for my hair! Not fire you crazy priest lady!" Taka said as he coughed up smoke before being shot by more random balls.
"I guess he didn't like that either." Juvia said as Taka collapsed on his back.
"No! Vivaldus!" said another voice that belonged to a servant that made himself visible. "Oh Vivaldus, you were truly one who was passionate about his music. Yet you have fallen when facing the opposition who chose scorn your talents. Never fear my master, for his majesty has blessed you with his mercy. Behold the power of enhancement combined with that of a feather belonging to a phoenix!" the servant spouted out.
"Lucy who is that?" Juvia asked.
Lucy glared at the servant, "Gilles de Rais, he's a disturbed man that's infatuated with another one of my servants." she said.
"Now resurrect Vidaldus Taka! Prove to his majesty that you are worthy of his blessing!" Gilles said as he tossed a feather over Taka's head which immediately burned.
Then suddenly, the musician had stood up as volatile energy surrounded his body. With a hue of gold and his eyes glowing white. Taka had become fully rejuvenated as his power had increased drastically.
"Ah yeah! Time for an encore ladies!" Taka shouted as he played his electric guitar and pushed his two opponents back with the soundwaves alone.
Lucy staggered at the feeling of the immense energy, "Juvia, I think we have even more trouble than we expected. Keep your guard up and stay close." she said as the water mage nodded.
Meanwhile with Simon and Gray
As the two continued their search, both felt a the entire floor shake. Gray sighed as he had a good idea of what caused the potential destruction.
"What was that?" Simon asked cautiously.
"Most likely Natsu. Hey Lancer, are you coming?" Gray asked as he turned to see a dark haired woman in purple tights.
"Very well." Scattach replied as she followed the two.
At the end of the hall, the trio found themselves in some weird room full of bird cages. Before long, Natsu appeared and he was riding on Fukuru who was flying violently before crashing into a cage. A few seconds later, Natsu ripped off Fukuru's jetpack and tossed the bird hybrid onto another cage before chasing after him.
"Justice will prevail Salamander!" Fukuru claimed before Natsu grabbed him in a headlock.
"I am the Son of Igneel! Best friend of Happy! Fire Dragon Slayer! A member of Fairy Tail and most importantly a member of Erza's family!" Natsu yelled as Fukuru turned blue. "I. AM. NATSU DRAGNEEL!" he yelled before slamming the bird man down.
Gray sighed, "Talk about overkill flame brain." he muttered.
"I'm not deaf you exhibitionist and I'm not blind enough to see that you didn't do anything!" Natsu yelled just as Happy came in while carrying Jaguar man in his arms.
"Looks like Natsu saved the day again." Happy said before putting the lancer down.
However before anyone could celebrate an early victory. Another servant had made themselves visible to the naked eye. This man was rather demonic looking and had a dark costume with a tail at the end. Scattach narrowed her eyes at the familiar looking servant and kept her lance out as she prepared to fight.
"Wow, for a bird man. He can't fly really good. It doesn't matter in the end, the big guy wants you to keep fighting." the man said before pulling out a feather and casting it' effects over Fukuru who quickly recovered and unleashed a powerful wave of magic.
"Justice does not surrender so easily!" Fukuru proclaimed as he the energy continued to emanate through his body.
"Ok, I am very confused." Natsu said.
"It's an enemy servant you idiot! We need to beat him now!" Jaguar Man said as she dashed at the servant along with Scattach.
The servant blocked both attacks and pushed them back, "It's been awhile teacher." he said to Scattach.
"You are no student of mine but a false dream conceived by a childish girl." Scattach replied as she continued her fight with Cu Chulainn Alter.
Cu Chulainn cracked his neck, "Well whatever, I'll be the one killing you both." he said as both lancers prepared themselves.
"You mess with the wrong kitty pal!" Jaguar Man said as she tried to land a kick on him.
Back with the others, Natsu got his weapons ready as Simon aimed with his eye and prepared to shoot at Fukuru. As for Gray, he pulled out Lucy's class card and activated it's power before taking on a form similar to Orion.
"Looks like you're wearing pants this time Stripper!" Natsu joked as Gray ignored the comment.
However their plans were derailed as a spear came in between all of them and a pink haired girl with a tail stood on the tip of the spear, "Behold, the fabulous and amazing singer, Elie!" the girl announced.
"Move civilian! I have three evil-doers to apprehend!" Fukuru ordered.
Elie scoffed, "You got your ass beat by a barbarian. Besides, you need me and everyone else's help for that blue haired guy to succeed!" she said.
"Hey what the hell are you supposed to be!? Some kind of lizard!?" Natsu asked as Elie looked offended.
"I am a dragon and an idol! Don't you dare mock me, I am Elizabeth Bathory!" Elizabeth replied before Natsu got excited.
"A dragon!? No way! Can you tell me where Igneel is!?" Natsu asked.
"What the hell is an Igneel?" Elizabeth asked with a confused expression.
"Gray you fight the bird guy! I'll make this lady tell me where Igneel is!" Natsu said as he tackled Elizabeth down and started free falling down.
"Salamander!" Simon called out only to avoid Fukuru's attack.
"Who! Who! Pay attention to your surroundings villain!" Fukuru warned as he engaged Simon.
Gray facepalmed at the stupidity, "Fine, it's just us for now Simon." he said before taking aim at Fukuru and continuing the fight.
With Erza
Galloping away on a horse, Erza hanged on tight to her Lancer class servant, "How far do you think Natsu made it?" the Lancer asked.
"I don't know Artoria, but knowing him. It's best to follow the first path of destruction we find." Erza answered before the horse took a sharp turn.
"Why are you turning?" Erza asked only to see a large slash appear and destroy the floor behind them.
Artoria stopped her horse and looked towards the sight of Ikaruga who was sheathing her blade, "We have an enemy in our sights." she said as they both got off of the horse.
"I will deal with her on my own!" Erza said exclaimed as she summoned a sword to her side and dashed at Ikaruga.
In a matter of a couple of strikes, Ikaruga had cut through Erza's armor and sword before sending her flying.
"That was my Mugetsu style." Ikaruga stated as Artoria ran to her master's side only to be pushed away.
"Erza, you must think this through properly." Artoria suggested.
"I can do this! Heaven's Wheel!" Erza called out as she requipped and flew into the air before launching a barrage of swords at Ikaruga.
The pink haired woman smirked as she kept slashing enough to the point that each sword shattered. A moment later, Erza's armor had also been destroyed and she had requipped into her Flame Empress armor.
"My sword can cut through just about everything. Including your shameless armor." Ikaruga said taunting at Erza's revealing choice of clothing.
However it was a matter of time until that armor was destroyed as well. Along with most of the room that they were in. With Ikaruga still looking neat and clean without having so much as a scratch from all the intense swordplay. However Artoria finally stepped in as she had wished to avoid her master from further making a fool of herself.
"I am your opponent now." Artoria said as she drew Rhongomyniad to her hands.
Ikaruga smirked at her new opponent, "Hopefully you are more open minded unlike that barbarian. Though that could change seeing as I have defeated her with ease." she said as Erza stumbled up and looked angry.
Artoria quickly took a step back before dashing at Ikaruga at full speed. The pink haired woman continued to smile as she recited a poem while clashing blades. In a matter of moments she sent Artoria flying back only for the blonde woman to land on her knee. As you can imagine, her armor had also been destroyed and revealed her well endowed body along with a scratch on the side of her cheek.
"I suppose there is a difference in fighting with a spear rather than a sword." Ikaruga said before Artoria wiped away the hair that covered her eyesight.
"Unlike my Saber form or master, I am not one to dwell on regrets. I fight and learn from my mistakes when I make them." Artoria said before Ikaruga grunted and fell on her hands before coughing up blood.
"H-How?" Ikaruga stuttered before falling on her face.
"I know I am not invincible and knew my armor would collapse. Whether it be made with rust from debris or crafted by the gods. My armor will shatter at some point, but that's where I learn." Artoria said before turning to Erza. "You Erza Scarlet, are not focused and believe you can fix everything." she said.
"But I can! As I always done!" Erza claimed.
Artoria shook her head, "No my master, you only rule with fear and force. You lost the earlier battle because your heart was weak. No amount of armor can protect your heart and that is why it shattered every time. You must learn to break the grip that your fear has on you in order to strengthen your heart." she said as Erza's eyes started to water.
Before long, the former King of Knights hugged the redhead in a motherly embrace.
"You cannot close off your emotions to the world. I learned you can only ruin yourself and others that way." Artoria said before Erza hugged her back and started to sob on her chest.
"I just don't want to be alone again. I don't want anyone or myself to suffer ever again." Erza said as Artoria stroked the young woman's hair.
However the touching scene was broken by an unwanted guest.
"Revolting." both of them turned to see a blond servant in dark armor walking towards Ikaruga. "My disgusting counterpart rebirths as a lancer and she speaks as if she is a saint. You pretend that your failures make you powerful when in fact you use false wisdom to hide it." she claimed.
Artoria glared at her Alter Ego counterpart, "As if the embodiment of hatred would know any better. If I am foolish, you are no better than I or my Saber counterpart." she said as Artoria Alter dragged Ikaruga by the back of her hair.
"Stand up wench! You have still have purpose and until then, you will not be disposed of!" Artoria Alter said as she placed a feather over Ikaruga's face and started to fulfill her with more immentant energy.
Thus reviving the woman and prepared her for another fight, "I suppose I allowed myself to be too clumsy. I should congratulate you Lancer, one of those strikes was not you missing my body when in fact, you were pulling back your weapon after continuously striking me in the chest." she said as she unleashed the power surrounding her body.
"Erza are you ready? Neither of them will give us a chance to rest." Artoria warned as Erza nodded.
"Yes, I am ready now! I will not be weak!" Erza exclaimed as she changed into her Japanese cloth
Ikaruga chuckled, "Cloth? After losing several of your armors? You believe you can still win with mere cloth alone?" she asked.
"It's not the cloth, but the strength of my heart! And I will defeat you this time!" Erza said as she was now prepared for the onslaught.
Back with Lucy and Juvia
"Lucy-san, what do we do about zombies?" Juvia asked nervously.
"Well normally I would use a potion but only Ventus... nevermind! We're not fighting a zombie Juvia! But we need to be careful, that thing looked like a Phoenix Down but it's modified." Lucy replied.
Gilles blinked twice, "Phoenix Down? How dare you assume that his majesty would use such a cheap feather from overpriced poultry!?" he said zealously.
"Hey bro! No need to get so angry! We got a show!" Taka said as his sonic waves became more powerful and pushed the two girls back.
"I think we need some backup. Artemis, I could really use some help now!" Lucy said as a bright golden light came out.
In it's place came out a white haired woman with blue eyes and a teddy bear on her shoulder, "Did you need something?" she asked before getting hit by the sonic blast.
"I could use your help dealing with the caster." Lucy said as Artemis quickly recovered.
"Oh my, if you summoned Atalanta instead. The poor girl would have thrown a hissy fit." Artemis commented as Gilles started shooting projectiled spells from his spellbook.
"Who is she talking about?" Juvia asked only for Lucy to put a shield wall around her to block the attack.
Lucy sighed, "I'll explain later." she said as she started shooting several arks at Taka who kept laughing.
"I got you ladies now!" Taka said in a cocky tone as he kept absorbing Juvia's attacks.
Juvia started putting a plan together as she realized her magic attack were futile, "Lucy, I think this man's power is only boosted. I don't believe anything has changed such as his ability to absorb my water." she said as Lucy nodded.
"I think I got it, Juvia try unleashing a great orb of water." Juvia did as she was told which prompted the next stage in Lucy's plan. "Fire Storm!" she yelled out as the two elements created a giant amount of steam.
"Oh man! I can't see anything through this fog!" Taka yelled as he tried play his guitar louder thinking as if it could help.
"I cannot see anything either! Such cowardly tactics false maiden! How dare you!?" Gilles yelled only to find himself trapped in several pillars of ice. "What is this!?" he asked as he tried to break free only to be shot up with several arrows with a final one landing on his head.
"That's enough out of you child murderer!" Artemis said as Gilles cried out in pain before being reduced to a stone. Artemis picked it up and ran to Lucy and Juvia's position, "I'm glad that Icicle Castle of Lucy's worked." she said as she saw Taka's defeat.
"Water Lock!" Juvia said as she trapped Taka again.
"We done this a hundred times lady! I just need to..." Taka was interrupted as Lucy electrocuted him.
"Shock Stinger!" Lucy yelled out as Taka was shocked into unconsciousness.
Juvia giggled, "I'm glad I could put my fake rivalry aside Lucy. Combination attacks are fun." she said as they moved past Taka's unconscious body.
"Lucy, a new servant for you. Though I think you might want to keep it locked away deep in the throne of heroes. Atalanta might go insane if she sees him if Saber Gilles can't contain him." Artemis said as Lucy absorbed Caster Gilles into her body.
"Thanks Artemis, you want to stick around or do you want to go back?" Lucy asked.
The Goddess of the Hunt smiled, "I wouldn't mind stretching my legs." she said with a nod and followed her master.
With Gray's group
As Natsu went back engaging Fukuru with help from Jaguar Man.
"Hoot! Justice will prevail! Now that I... AHH!" the power boost didn't help seeing as Natsu had back up with him in the form a divine being inside a human woman wearing a cat costume.
"Let's get him Happy, cat lady!" Natsu said as he slashed at Fukuru's chest.
"HOOT!" Fukuru cried out before Happy tossed a watermelon at his head. "Who tosses a watermelon at someone's head? This is a waste of food hoot!" he said before Jaguar Man got the drop on him.
"Jaguar Kick!" she cried out as she dropped her heel onto the avian man's head.
"Hoot... villains... unfair... handicap match... tap... out." Fukuru said before all three kicked him while he was down. "Time out! Time out!" Fukuru pleaded before Happy started to repeatedly jump on his head.
Back with Cu Chulainn, the Berserker did well when dealing with his teacher. As well as Simon who he continued to find whenever the man disappeared and was able to withstand his eye blasts. Which left Gray having to adjust to his servant form. For some reason Orion's class card felt foreign compared to when he was King Leonidas.
'I swear it better not be some irony because Leonidas was naked too.' Gray thought as he felt his mana running around the course of his body and affecting his vision. Just as tried to combine his Ice Make with his arrows, the arrows fired off into random directions and blew up, "Oh crap!" he said just as Cu Chulainn proceeded to punch him in the face.
"Remember he's not your only opponent!" Scattach warned as attacked the Berserker from behind.
As Gray recovered from the heavy hit. He started to have a better understanding of the power that coursed through him. He knew he needed to adjust to an Archer's skill set but not while changing completely into another person. Gray wasn't an idiot... well not a complete idiot at the very least. Like Natsu, he needed to learn from experience despite both ignoring the fact that they enjoy overdoing things. In this case, he started to get a better grip of the servant's potential.
(Fate Stay Night OST - Souls To Fight)
So while Cu Chulainn was applying a high amount of pressure against Scattach. He ran at the Berserker with his crossbow aimed at his back. Cu managed to push Scattach away in time as he ran at Gray at full speed. Sadly, the ice mage was unaware of his opponents skill, Protection from Arrows, which was able to block out most of the arrows and reduce the damage of the few that managed to hit him. However that didn't stop Gray as he managed to avoid being hit by the spear and finally land a hit on Cu that made him skid back.
Cu wiped his lip as a small cut appeared after being hit. However that didn't stop him from try to pierce Gray who avoided each attack until being hit in the abdomen. Cu grinned until Gray grabbed him by the back of the hood and kept him there with his enhanced strength before repeatedly hitting him with his free hand. Scattach stood back and carefully planned out the next attack with Simon as Gray and Cu had reduced their battle to a battle of brute force.
While Cu was sure he was taking a bit too much damage with Gray's enhanced strength. Gray in return was running low on energy as he chose to kick Cu away and use all his might to rip out Gae Bolg from his abdomen before freezing up the wound. Not taking a chance to further recover himself, he fired several more arrows that Cu continued to block. Only giving him enough time to use his ice to make two durable hammers made of ice.
Upon recovering his spear, Cu once more raced towards Gray in attempt to end his life again. While too focused to see that Gray's hammers blocked the spear's assault on him. Gray used his opponent's poor tactics and managed to hold down Cu's spear and arms. Then proceeding to freeze them into the floor below them. The ice proved to be enough to restrain Cu long enough to allow Simon and Scattach to attack.
"Good work Fullbuster!" Simon complimented as he made everything around Cu go dark.
Now blind and restrained, Cu did his best to escape his predicament only to be surprised by something else. A large gate had appeared over the Berserker as Scattach appeared.
"Brace yourselves boys. For this, is the Gate of Skye!" Scattach invoked as Cu started to be pulled into the gate.
"I refuse!" Cu stated as he broke free of his icy restraints and was about to strike at Scattach who was wide open.
Gray had other plans as tackled Cu and started pushing him towards the vortex that came from the gate. He then had to endure Cu's beating that he was given as he continued to resist being sent into the seemingly endless void that awaited him. For Gray, hope was not lost as something else had entered his mind. Something that would strengthen him and defeat this monster.
"Artemis Hagnós!" Gray called out as he felt soft arms wrapping themselves around his neck and giving him the strength finally send Cu away and finally defeating him.
Leaving nothing but a fragment for Lucy to collect. Before anyone could celebrate, Gray immediately realized who was on his back.
"You did it Gray-sama my beloved!" Juvia cheered as she gave him a deep kiss on the cheek.

"JUVIA!?" Gray asked in a shocked tone.
Juvia's response to what she had believed to be a greeting was to continue kissing his cheek affectionately just as Lucy arrived.
"I guess instead of Artemis Hagnós: Moon Goddess' Innocent Affections. Gray summoned, Juvia Hagnós: Rain Woman's Innocent Affections." Lucy joked as Gray tried to pry Juvia off of him.
"This isn't funny!" Gray said as Juvia refused to let go of him.
Lucy shook her head as she picked up Cu Chulainn Alter's fragment and absorbed it. All the while noticing that Jaguar Man was tapping an unconscious Fukuru with her paw shaped staff. That only made her fearful as Natsu and Happy were nowhere near her. That only made the blond girl put a hand on her forehead and sigh.
"Where is the Salamander? He was just here?" Simon asked as he looked around.
"I have no clairvoyance, but I can tell that he is most likely going after this Jellal person." Scattach said.
"Leave it to Natsu to keep finding his next fight." Gray said as he finally pried off Juvia.
"I should go after him. At the very least get Erza too and Medusa's sisters." Lucy said as she spread out her wings. "The rest of you guys should get to the boat as soon as possible." she said as Scattach, Artemis and Jaguar Man followed her.
"Juvia-san, ask Lucy to summon me again. We can go on double dates with our hubbies!" Artemis told her.
Juvia smiled as she waved goodbye to the goddess, "Yes I will let you friend Lucy know!" she said.
Gray looked a bit surprised, "Friend Lucy? I thought you called her love rival?" he asked.
Juvia giggled as she shoved Gray's face into her chest, "She can't be a love rival if she can't claim you Gray-sama." she said as Gray suddenly felt fearful.
Back with Erza
Artoria Lancer found herself pitted against her darker version of Saber. Which forced Erza to return to fighting Ikaruga on her own. With having already been defeated by her several times and losing several sets of armor due to her stubbornness from before. Which left the red haired mage to take Artoria's words to heart and strengthen her heart. Which meant no longer hiding behind armor as if the cold metal they were made from was invincible from the world.
So with every strike, every slash at her skin, every blade and scrap of armor being ripped apart. Erza had finally had that concept of how to defeat opponent. So with one last requip, Erza had appeared wearing nothing but red hakama pants and bandages that covered her chastity with two swords in her arms.
"Cloth? If your armor failed, what good will simple cloth do?" Ikaruga taunted as her new power flared to a higher level.
Erza gripped her swords as tightly as possible. Ikaruga was a capable swordswoman and despite her enhancement. She was toying with Erza, almost as if her mind and switched between harming her intentionally and just trying to embarass her. Maybe there was a slight bit of sadism going on through the pink haired woman's mind.
So putting aside all her thoughts. Erza strengthened her mind rather than her body. Rather than focusing on defeating Ikaruga, she focus on HOW to defeat Ikaruga. With one last strike, Ikaruga and Erza had once more crossed blades.
"Urk!" Erza grunted as she still felt the impact of the attack as Ikaruga landed on her feet.
Ikaruga kept her smirk plastered on her face. However the look of pleasure turned to one of pain as Ikaruga coughed up blood as several tears in her kimono had appeared before she collapsed.
"You've done well my master!" Lancer Artoria congratulated as continued to battle it with Artoria Alter.
"Useless, I do not see why his majesty put his faith in a sellsword." Alter stated she pushed Lancer away.
"Hey Artoria, do you need help as well? Or is your heart strong enough?" Erza asked with a bright smile.
Lancer smiled back as she felt proud of her temporary master, "Two strong hearts are greater than one black heart." she said as Alter sneered.
With Natsu
"Uh Natsu, why didn't we stop and wait for Lucy? Or at least help Gray and everyone else?" Happy asked knowing Natsu enjoyed his fights.
"Happy as much as I'd like to upstage the ice princess. There was a chance he called dibs. You know that I hate that icicle prick, but you have to respect dibs no matter how much you want to be a part of that fight." Natsu said as he continued making his up the tower.
Only to be stopped by a brand new enemy. Looking up, they saw a pink haired girl in a somewhat revealing outfit with wings and a tail as she twirled her lance around.
"You've made a big mistake. For now you will face the most beautiful, the most strongest, the most skilled, Elizabeth Bathory!" said the pink haired girl.
Natsu and Happy just stared at her in silence as Elizabeth performed a series of slips and poses with her lance. After about a couple minutes of watching the girl acting like she's a cheerleader. The two continued to stare at her in silence as if they entered a trance where they began contemplating the meaning of life. Elizabeth was a different story, she assumed that they were mocking her by just staring instead of clapping and praising her as she expected them to.
"You've done it now! Face your punishment for insulting the next big teen idol!" Elizabeth said as she kept spinning her lance around before smacking herself in her head and tripping down the stairs and stopping in front of Natsu and Happy.
As she stood up, the two finally smiled and started clapping, "Bravo!" the praised.
"YOU AREN'T SUPPOSED TO CLAP NOW!" Elizabeth yelled as she adjusted her hair and lance. "Now then, fight me with all your might. For I..." she was interrupted with a punch to the face.
"You got this Natsu!" Happy cheered on as Natsu proceeded to consistently punch Elizabeth's face.
Elizabeth whined as she tried pushing him off of her, "Hey I wasn't ready!" she whined as Natsu continued punching her while she was on ground.
"Dibs!" Natsu yelled.
Elizabeth looked beyond confused at what the dragon slayer had just said, "What are you claiming dibs on?" she asked.
"My fight!" Natsu said as he punched her right in the nose.
Elizabeth proceeded to whimper loudly as she held her nose, "You broke my nose! Wahhh! You mean bully!" she whined.
"Hey stop crying and fight me!" Natsu said as he was about to punch her only for Happy to stop him.
"Natsu stop bullying her!" Happy exclaimed.
"WHAT!? I am not bullying her! She's clearly faking it!" Natsu said as he pointed to Elizabeth who was covered in bruises and tears.
Instead Happy put his hands on his hips and glared at Natsu, "You're a bully!" he said.
"She's faking it!" Natsu claimed.
It was a half truth, as Elizabeth managed to bash him on the head with her lance. As Natsu fell down, Elizabeth proceeded to repeatedly hit him like he was a dead horse.
"STUPID PINK SPIKEY HEADED POORLY DRESSED FREAK! YOU RUINED MY FACE! HOW CAN A PRODUCER HIRE ME IF I LOOK LIKE THIS!?" Elizabeth yelled as she kept whaling on Natsu with her lance.
"I TOLD YOU SHE WAS FAKING!" Natsu exclaimed as Happy was unsure of who to believe.
With Erza
After finishing up the battle with Artoria Alter and keeping her fragment for safe keeping. Erza raced up to the top of the tower with Lancer by her side and found her blue haired childhood friend. Jellal Fernandes sat on his throne as if he were an evil overlord that you read about in some fantasy novel. Just staring at Erza and her servant as if he had predicted every move she had taken like a prodigy playing a game of chess.
"Welcome Erza, it's been a while hasn't it?" Jellal greeted.
"Jellal, this insanity has to end now." Erza demanded as she pointed one of her swords at him.
Jellal laughed as if this was all a game to him, "What you call insanity." he began to say as he stood up. "I call salvation. For now that you're here, Zeref will return to the world of the living." he said unable to change Erza's beliefs.
"Tampering with life and death is no joke. Especially when it involves the life of someone who create more destruction than good." Artoria spoke up only to hear a familiar giggle in the background.
Artoria and Erza and turned their attention towards a female servant that came from behind Jellal's chair. This servant was a woman in a black and blue outfit with a white overcoat and scepter in hand. Her face was concealed by a black veil with a black crown sitting on her head. Artoria narrowed her ice and had Rhongomyniad ready for battle.
"Says the "perfect" king. Tell me little sister, how many kingdoms have you watched burn?" asked the veiled servant.
"Who is that?" Erza whispered.
"Morgan Le Fay, a dangerous sorceress from my era and Mordred's birth mother. Who happens to be my elder half sister." Artoria answered as Erza almost vomited. "Is something wrong?" she asked.
Erza nodded, "Lucy told me you were Mordred's father, so if she's her mother. Then just... HOW!?" Erza asked as she was disgusted.
"It's a very disturbing story Erza. You see, despite being King. The role is naturally meant for a male, so not even my spouse was aware that I was a woman and with help from Merlin I..."
Morgan interrupted the unimportant explanation as she tapped her scepter onto the floor several times, "Enough! There is no time for such trivial matters." she said.
"How is the fact that you procreated with your sister a trivial matter?" Erza asked.
"I will not explain myself. Master, if you will." Morgan said as she turned to Jellal who slammed his hands onto the floor.
Erza and Artoria soon found themselves surrounded by a glowing magic seal on the floor under them. They proceeded to fall to their knees and feel as if a heavy weight landed on their backs. Leaving them immobilized as they felt their magic slowly reducing itself by half.
"What is this?" Erza asked as she started to feel pain.
"As I said dear Erza, it is salvation." Jellal stated as he looked up at the sky and noticed that the ethirion was about to hit the tower.
Morgan however felt unsettled, 'While I do not question the emperor. I do question the people that submit to him.' she thought as the entire tower was hit by the Magic Council's weapon.
With Lucy
The Holy Maiden started to panic as she realized the whole tower was hit and started to worry if everyone else managed to get to the boat. only to soon realize that the whole tower was transformed into a giant lacrima crystal. It was bizarre, but she couldn't place all her attention on the phenomenon until after she finds Natsu and Erza. Luckily she found the former and was carrying a servant on his back.
"Put me down you stupid overgrown lizard!" Elizabeth yelled as she kept banging her fists onto Natsu's back.
"After we beat Jellal, save Erza then find Lucy. I will put you down and you can join her soul or wherever Lucy keeps putting you guys!" Natsu argued.
"Who the heck is Lucy!?" Elizabeth asked as Lucy made her presence known. "Stella?" she asked.
"I go by Lucy now, Elizabeth." Lucy answered.
Elizabeth then bursted into tears as she tried to grab onto Lucy, "Stella! This mean guy beat me up and ruined my face! Now no one is going to hire me and make me a famous idol singer!" she cried.
Lucy sighed as she patted Elizabeth's head, "There there, I'll take you inside and you can rest there." she said as she absorbed Elizabeth.
"Wow what an annoying kid." Natsu said as Happy nodded.
"This coming from the guy who wanted a dragon servant. Especially after you abused second dragon servant I've come across in this lifetime." Lucy said as Natsu and Happy looked shocked.
As they thought more about it, Elizabeth did have scaly wings and a tail, "Natsu you dummy! You finally had a dragon and you beat her up like a bully!" Happy yelled.
"I did not bully her! Also, how was I supposed to know!?" Natsu asked.
"That doesn't matter right now guys. We need to save Erza since Jellal is still going to use her as a sacrifice for Zeref!" Lucy exclaimed as Natsu and Happy stopped fighting and followed Lucy up the stairs.
Back with Erza
Erza was shocked by what she had witnessed. She expected to perish along with Jellal once the etherion hit the tower. Instead, the whole tower became a giant lacrima crystal and Jellal had expected it. He was several steps ahead of her. Erza had initially believed Jellal to have developed some sort of insanity or was just suicidal when he was waiting for the etherion to fire like a child would would wait for the ice cream man to arrive.
"I can tell you're shocked Erza. I'm sure you have lots of questions. Such as, why didn't we die? Or why is the entire tower turned into a lacrima? You're a smart girl, but not smart enough." Jellal stated arrogantly.
"What is this?" Artoria asked as she managed to stand up.
"This little sister, is a way to power up the tower and to complete our goals." Morgan stated as Artoria glared at her.
"Impossible, I've done my research! You could gather up every mage in the entire continent and the R-system would never be able to power up!" Erza claimed.
Jellal continued to chuckle at how Naive Erza looked to him, "And why else do you think I had this tower turned into a lacrima Erza? Do you think isolation made me stupid? I know very well that the tower was incapable of storing magic the first time." he explained.
"So you turned the entire tower into a container." Artoria spoke up.
"Correct." Jellal confirmed.
Erza grunted as she stood up on her own, "Artoria, how much magic do you have left?" she asked her servant.
Artoria sighed, "Not enough to summon my mount and even with every drop I have. I wouldn't be able to use my Noble Phantasm." she answered as Morgan started to approach her.
The witch from Camelot giggled behind her veil, "Look at you two. Reduced to almost nothing. No armor can protect you and no allies to fight beside you." she said. "It's ironic isn't it? Brings back so many memories don't you think?" she asked.
"Erza is never alone when she's with Fairy Tail!" Natsu yelled as he revealed himself and jumped over Morgan. "Fire Dragon Iron Fist!" he yelled as Morgan jumped back and avoided the fire coated fist.
"Natsu!" Erza said in surprise.
"Don't forget us!" Lucy spoke up as she appeared along with Happy.
"Lucy! Happy!" Erza also said in surprise.
"Natsu, you'll need this! Firestorm!" Lucy casted as Natsu devoured the giant wave of flames.
Natsu chuckled as he pounded his fire coated fists together, "Now I'm fired up!" he said excitedly.
Jellal chuckled as he clapped his hands together, "I don't think you're in a real position to fight back." he said.
"And why is that?" Lucy asked.
Morgan snapped her fingers and revealed several minions of Mateus who came out of the shadows. Along with Stheno and Euryale who were still tied up and struggling. Lucy also noticed that they were wearing strange collars. Most likely a way to nullify their access thier magic and preventing them from escaping.
"Crap, Medusa's sisters are still in trouble!" Lucy said as Natsu growled.
"And I think it's best you hand over my sacrifice. Only if you don't wish to keep the Gorgon separated from her sisters any longer." Jellal said using the knowledge Mateus gave him.
Lucy clutched her chest as she could sense Medusa wishing to break free, 'I'm not good with these kinds of situations.' she thought as even Natsu hesitated.
The elder Gorgon sisters won't die permanently, but Lucy wasn't the type to see torture. Though every time they were technically "killed", they would experience death as if it were the end of their existence. Not only that, but the minions of Mateus could easily escape and keep the hostages to themselves. The only person who came up with an idea was Erza as she stepped forward.
"You don't need to hide behind hostages like a coward Jellal! Because I'm right here to give myself up!" Erza said as she dropped her swords.
"Erza think this through!" Artoria said only to be ignored.
"One life for two is a good exchange Artoria." Erza replied as a strange red marking started to appear over her body.
"Good choice... but not for you." Jellal said as the minions started to run off with the Gorgons.
Lucy gasped as she let Medusa run out on her own, "I'll save them!" Medusa yelled only to be hit by an ice pillar from Morgan.
Morgan raised her finger and shook it, "If you wish to save your sisters. You must get through me." she said only for summon two more servants.
In the meanwhile, Natsu punched Jellal in the head while he was briefly distracted. So while Natsu kept the blue haired dark mage distracted, Lucy spread her wings and flew to Medusa's side. Morgan narrowed her eyes as she wouldn't have the chance to continue blocking Medusa's path as the two servants were from her era during Artoria's reign as King. None other than the loyal lapdogs Percival and Tristan with Artoria slowly making her way to their side.
"A little injured don't you think my king?" Tristan asked as he gripped his bow.
"I can still fight." Artoria said.
"How touching, it makes me sick." Morgan said as she slammed her staff down and unleashed several blocks of ice at them.
The Knights of camelot all took cover as they avoided the many ice projectiles aimed for them. Tristan fought back by pulling on the strings on his bow and unleashing waves of sounds in the shape of arrows towards Morgan. The witch tried to block them with a single ice barrier only to be reminded of her foe's attack style. While the omnidirectional attack did land, the trio was surprised to see Morgan handling the attacks with ease. It was strange to them as a Caster was naturally the worst servant to take a direct hit.
However after Percival managed to surprise Morgan by summoning his mount and trying to pierce her with his spear. The Holy Knight of the Dove found himself shocked to see that he was floating in mid air as Morgan blocked the attack with the palm of her hand. He was then sent flying back and crashing into Tristan.
"This isn't good, I don't Morgan is a Caster. At least not a normal one." Artoria said as Morgan unleashed a powerful blast upon the,
However Lucy quickly blocked the attack by unleashing her own barrier, "Artoria, place your hands on my back. I can lend you some mana to recover some of your strength since Erza is still stunned." he said as the Lancer nodded and did as she was told.
Morgan scowled at Lucy's interruption, "Leave it up to fairy impostor to challenge the Fairy Queen." she said.
"Morgan, I know you have daddy issues and all, but I really do not need your sass." Lucy said before unleashing a blinding flash of light to distract Morgan.
Seeing her opening, Lucy proceeded to follow Medusa who had already started chasing the minions to save her sisters. However before Lucy left the room, she quickly pulled out a class card and tossed it to Happy who was checking on Erza.
"Happy, give that to Natsu if he gets into trouble!" Lucy yelled.
Happy gasped as he saw who the card was based on, "But Lucy this is..." he tried to say only to be interrupted.
"Just this one time! He better not destroy the whole tower!" Lucy warned as she started flying after Medusa.
"Aye sir!" Happy said as he watched Natsu's fight with Jellal.
With Natsu
Natsu's overwhelming strength proved to Jellal that he was quite the capable fighter. Especially since Beowulf's class card gave him a buff land more damage. However this was his undoing as Jellal caught Natsu off guard as the dragon slayer started to get cocky. Thus he was able to to use his Heavenly Body magic and countered Natsu's attacks. Thus the pink haired mage was sent crashing away.
"Is that all you have Natsu Dragneel?" Jellal taunted as Natsu growled. "Take this! Meteor!" he yelled as he was coated in golden magic that increased his strength and speed.
Natsu lacked the speed to dodge his attacks and while Beowulf's class card gave him greater endurance, his agility was hindered. So at the very least, the hit wasn't too bad.
"You forgot one big fact Jellal." Natsu said as he quickly recovered.
"And what would that be?" Jellal asked curiously.
Natsu grinned as he raised Naegling over his head, "Fairy Tail is best known for it's destruction!" he exclaimed as he slammed the club down on the floor with his enhanced strength.
Jellal immediately realized what Natsu meant and was shocked by the tremendous strength as they started falling down to the next floor. The blue haired mage started to get angry as he realized that Natsu knew he could stop his plans by destroying the tower. Despite its size, there was no doubt that someone like Natsu Dragneel had the potential to make all his work meaningless by shattering the entire tower as if it were made of glass. It didn't help he had the power of a lost historical figure known for using his fists whenever possible.
"You think this is enough? I can tell you right now..." Jellal was interrupted as Natsu gathered up his magic.
"Grendel Buster!" Natsu yelled as he charged at Jellal was too surprised to dodge the attack.
Using Beowulf's noble phantasm, Natsu used as much power as the class card could give him to unleash Beowulf's original strength. Doing so caused him to shatter Hrunting and Naegling and leaving him with only his fists. It felt more natural for Natsu anyways, seeing as he landed many devastating blows to Jellal's body as he kept destroying the tower by using Jellal as a punching bag.
Jellal did manage to break free and land a punch on Natsu's face. However that only made him skid back about an inch before Natsu grabbed Jellal by the wrist and snapped it before punching Jellal in the gut. Jellal briefly lowered his head as he clutched his abdomen which gave Natsu the chance to drop his elbow on to the back of Jellal's head and made his face crash into the floor. Not giving Jellal so much time as to breath, Natsu lifted him up by the head and slammed him against the wall.
"Are you done yet?" Natsu asked only for Jellal to kick him away and continue to punch him back with his magic. Natsu took a step back as wiped his lip, "I guess not." Natsu said as he landed a clothesline on Jellal before landing a final blow to his foe's face.
Believing the battle to have ended in his favor. Natsu fell back in exhaustion as he cancelled out his class card. However, he was unaware of how much of a sore loser Erza's childhood friend could be. Jellal refused to stay down and started reaching for something in his pocket to give him another chance to win this fight.
With Lucy and Medusa
Thanks to Natsu's display of overusing his power. The minions sent by Mateus were unable to make it too far with Stheno and Euryale. They also started cursing their luck as Medusa had finally caught up to them. It didn't help that the woman was in a state of hatred as she lunged at one the minions and repeatedly stabbed one of them to death with her dagger before tossing her chain and wrapping it around the throat of another minion.
Their only saving grace was that Lucy didn't trust her Avenger form enough to let her run free. The last thing these poor souls needed was a giant lamia running after them.
"Medusa watch out!" the Rider class servant moved out of the way as one of the minions casted a medium sized fireball at her.
Using her opening, Medusa lifted her restrained victim and tossed them at the fire caster. She then turned her attention to one of the minions that was carrying Euryale over his back who was struggling in her binds. Medusa proceeded to make her way over the various minions before reaching the unarmed minion and tossing her dagger at his chest. Euryale started mumbling through the gag around her mouth as Medusa calmly removed it.
"Watch out!" Euryale warned as Medusa turned to see a larger minion with trying to slam a warhammer on her.
Medusa clutched her older sister in her arms and braced for the hit. Only to be surprised by the sight of Taurus' arrival who shoved the large minion out of the way. She then spotted that Cancer had also appeared and saved Stheno from her bindings. After dropping Stheno off with her sisters and freeing Euryale from her bindings, Cancer made a gesture as if he was on a phone.
"Call me if any of you want a change in style." Cancer said before helping Lucy finish off the remaining minions.
And Taurus decided that his vices needed a voice, "And call me when the twins grow a big pair, moo!" he said lecherously only for Medusa to bonk him on the head.
"Such filth will not be allowed to touch my sisters who are the perfect goddesses!" Medusa roared into the cow man's face.
"Pardon my words ma'am!" Taurus replied fearfully as he went back to helping Lucy.
Stheno giggled at her sister's antics, "Even when we're separated, you are still the same Medusa." she said before she and Euryale were engulfed in a tearful hug.
"Someone's cuddly today." Euryale said as she stroked Medusa's hair.
"I missed you both." Medusa said tearfully as Stheno rolled her eyes.
"We did too little sister. Though Stheno is just trying to act all high and mighty as she didn't want to say anything sweet."
Lucy smiled at the reunion of family. All the while wondering if Ventus, Shirou and Arthur are at a safe distance from the tower before the etherion had hit the tower.
Outside the tower
"Report." Mateus ordered.
A loyal minion of Mateus took a knee and bowed his head, "Your majesty, the tower has turned into lacrima but not before Lady Stella's family, friends and that treacherous Vincent made it safely away from the tower." he said.
"And the members of Trinity Raven?" Mateus asked.
"Our scouts reported that they are indeed alive and trying to escape. It's strange seeing as Fukuru was seen without his jetpack and needed to use a dingy to escape with his teammates." the minion answered.

Mateus frowned, "I'm assuming they are not heading towards my location?" he asked.
"No your majesty." the minion answered as he could feel the deadly pressure leaking off of the former emperor of Palamecia.
"Bring me those deserters. If I can find any use of them once I strip them of their free will. They will be executed at dawn." Mateus ordered as he did his best to keep composure.
The scared minion nodded as he stood up, "Right away your majesty." he said as he was about walk away.
"Also, do make sure that Ultear contacts me right away. Seeing as our pawn is more than likely to fail. I do not wish to see another capable mage deserting her post." Mateus said as he stood up and summoned his staff. "Ikaruga will be the example Ultear will need to learn from." he said as he walked off on his own.
The minion shivered as he understood the message he was given. He couldn't help but to fear his emperor more than he respected the man. Sure Emperor Mateus wasn't a pushover or weakling when he was killed during his first lifetime. However it couldn't be helped that his restored magic made him feel more like a devil incarnate that would crush anyone who dared argue his words.
All of which Mateus considered to be law.

Back with Natsu
Despite his near victory over Jellal, Natsu found himself being the loser of a one sided fight. As Jellal had regained his strength and vitality by taking a strange pill. It must have had similar effects as what the members of Trinity Raven were given in order to continue fighting. Only this time Jellal wasn't a pushover and Natsu was all alone for his fight. For a brief moment, Happy thought this was the end of Natsu as Jellal charged up a giant amount of Heavenly Body magic and prepared to launch it at Natsu.
Only for Erza to get in the way and use herself as a shield.
"Stop this Jellal! If you hit me, you'll lose your sacrifice and you won't be able to revive Zeref!" Erza threatened as Jellal frowned for a moment before chuckling to himself.
As it turned to full blown laughter, Jellal continued to charge up his magic, "It doesn't matter now Erza. As I can use anyone as a sacrifice for Zeref now! For your life no longer matters!" he said as he unleashed his devastating attack.
As Erza closed her eyes and prepared to give away her life for her Natsu, who deep down she loved like a younger brother, Simon appeared. Hoping to protect the childhood friend he had come to love. Hoping to throw away his life just so she would live. For a brief moment, Erza saw this and immediately remembered Rob's death for when he sacrificed his own life so Erza and the other slaves could escape. The might Titania of Fairy Tail began to cry as another important person in her life would die for her.
However, there was one important thing... Natsu didn't like to see his big sister cry.
So once the explosion hit a target. Jellal was shocked by the sight of who was hit.
Erza rubbed her eyes to confirm what she was real.
Simon refused to blink as he feared what was in front of him was merely an illusion.
Happy... he was grinning at a good job done right.
"Impossible!" Jellal exclaimed.
"You must have a bad memory Jellal. Because you keep forgetting who I am!" Natsu said as he stood tall with barely a scratch.

How did Natsu survive you might ask? Happy had given him the class card for one of the strongest servants. Karna, the son of the Sun Deity Surya. What no one outside of Happy and Natsu knew was that Natsu now obtained a skill that greatly weakened Jellal's attacks and in a way, his chance at winning.

Now it was Natsu's turn to laugh, "That's because of the power of my friendship with Erza! And you made the big mistake of making her cry Jellal!" he answered.
"That and you have almost invincible armor Natsu." Happy spoke up.
"You're not helping Happy!" Natsu replied now feeling frustrated by his best friend who killed the moment.
Kavacha and Kundala, the golden armor and golden earrings of Karna both make up anti unit Noble Phantasm that Natsu can use on himself. Unlike Erza's Flame Empress Armor which reduces all fire type of damage by half. Kavacha and Kundala protect Natsu from all types of attacks by reducing the damage by a tenth. Sure the attack still hurt greatly, but the armor was more than enough to withstand the hit. It helped that Natsu still had his strong will to keep fighting.
"Anyways, if you're going to keep getting up. Then I'll go down punching until I drag you down with me! You lose here Jellal!" Natsu promised as he pointed his staff at Jellal further proclaiming that this fight will end in his victory.
