VIPER POV
"WE'RE THROUGH"!
That was the last thing I heard from Mike before he left the barracks. Those last two words alone were enough to overwhelm me, enough to make me slither back into my room slowly. All I could do was just sit there, trying my hardest not to let my emotions get the better of me. Unfortunatley, they did as I felt a few tears run down my face, knowing that this was all my fault. I went too far this time and paid the price. However, the argument hadn't gone unnoticed as I heard a knock at my door.
"Come in". I spoke, clearing my eyes quickly and looking as calm as I could.
The door opened and in stepped Po. He seemed to be wearing an apologetic look on his face.
"Hey Viper. I... kind of overheard what just happened. I mean I wasn't listening in on purpose or anything like that, just I was in the kitchen... eating and... you know".
"Don't worry about me Po. I'll be fine. It's just that Mike broke up with me".
"I know, I heard". I glared at Po for a second, who looked the other way, unable to look me in the eye. A few seconds later he turned back round. "Maybe it would help if you talked about it"?
Deciding to follow Po's advice, I talked to him about the moment Mike had arrived up to the point he had left. When I spoke about the argument over the box of chocolate, Po seemed to frown, almost like he was hiding something. As I finished the story, Po began to act differently. He began to speak nervously as he backed out of the room.
"Well that was a good story... but uhhhh... I've got to go and... do that thing... at the place... Ya know, I mean it's not like I have anything to do with your story. Which I don't. hehe... Bye"! He disappeared from my view.
Po may be the dragon warrior, but he's a terrible liar. He's hiding something from me and I'm going to find out what! I slithered out of my room, trying to find the panda again.

MIKE POV
I think this is now the fourth time I've been knocked out within the last month alone. Keep going and I'm going to end up with brain damage. As I woke from my forced sleep, I immediatley found myself to be chained up to a damp stone wall. The first thing I did was pointlessly struggle against the chains, hoping that I would by some miracle escape. My efforts proved to be in vain. This time, I looked around to get a better understanding of my surroundings. The room was empty and circular. The only thing that I could see was a wooden door on the opposite side of where I was being held. And as if by my look alone, the door opened. Standing on the other side was, of course, Yinshen. Looking quite proud of herself. I only watched as she walked up to me, not bothering to say anything.
"I thought you were meant to kill me". I finally spoke up after a minute of silence from both of us.
"I never said such a thing if you remember our little... catch up in the alleyway".
"You might as well explain the story. Why am I chained up"?
"Because I told her to". Came a new voice.
I took my eyes off of Yinshen and to the doorway. I watched as a gorilla walked in, wearing a crimson chestplate and metal plating covering his legs and hips. His face was old a wrinkly looking and had grey fur. On his back hung a huge iron hammer with a circular base. Behind him walked in another two smaller black fur gorillas with grey spiked helmets, one holding a two hand axe and the other one had a ball and chain being dragged into the hard floor with every step it took. The middle one, the grey furred gorilla stepped forward, walking on his knuckles until his ugly head was a foot from mine. I calmly turn to Yinshen. "Your boss I presume"? Yinshen said nothing in return.
"So, you're the runt who helps defend the town of peace"? The grey gorilla spoke causing me to face him again. He then procedded to look me over. "You wouldn't even make a decent meal for my guards". He laughed. "It's an insult to me, is what you are. If that old red panda Shifu thinks you a worthy to serve under anyones rule. Perhaps now he will pay for his mistake once I owe him and his miserable students a visit". He grunted.
My eyes went wide for a second.
"...Shifu's a red panda"? I asked kind of missing the main point of the gorillas sentence.
"Yes, what of it"?
"Nothing it's just that I always thought he was a raccoon was all".
I was interrupted as I looked behind to see the two bodyguards snorting in laughter at my comment. I don't know why because it wasn't very funny what I said. Maybe these guys aren't as smart as their leader. However.
"SILENCE YOU MAGGOTS"! Boomed the grey gorilla, turning round ferociously to the two guards, silencing them with his words. He then rounded back to me, taking a step back.
"Perhaps I should introduce myself. I am Fennu (Means "wrath" in Chinese). Chieftain of the gorilla Shadow clan. And the soon to be destroyer of the town you protect".
"What? You want to destroy the valley of piece"? I asked, not understanding this guys motives.
"Call it a thirst for vengeance if you must. But I call it justice. Taking the law into my own hands to rid China of the furious five, and worst of all, the accursed dragon warrior"! He snarled angrily upon mentioning the Po's title.
"I don't understand. For what reason would you want to destroy the Dragon warrior"? I pressed on. My question seemed to calm the guy down as he seemed more sad than angry all of a sudden.
"I was once the captain of the personal guard to the peacock ruler of Gonmen City. My master was bent on ruling China and had taken precautions to prevent any setbacks. One of those precautions were to kill any Pandas we came across".
My mind suddenly jolted back to the first few days I had met Po. How I broke down and he told me that he had lost his family as well. Was this one of the guys responsible for making Po an orphan? Fennu continued.
"Thirty years we waited, and time begun to slowly overtake me. But being promised to be made warlord of all China by the rightful emperor of China was enough to keep me patient. And when the day finally came, it was taken away by the one panda we saw as a joke"!
Fennu lost himself to anger and ripped the large hammer off of his back and slammed it into the wall next to me with enough force to rip through even a tanks armor plating. When he removed the hammer from the wall, there was nothing left but a gigantic hole into the next room which looked similar to the one I was in.
"I lost some of my best warriors that day, going down with the ships they were on".
Fennu spoke again, barely catching my attention. His snarling making me grow more nervous. "But now after two long years, I will end that damned panda and all who dare stand between him and myself"!
"So all of this is over you not getting what you wanted"? I summed up, raising an eye. "And I thought my little sister was a spoiled brat".
"Watch your tongue lest you want me to rip it out for you"! Fennu raged, his face turning so red from anger it was as though a giant tomato had sprouted a hairy body.
I kept silent. I wasn't keen on finding out if this guy carried out his threats. Fennu turned to his guards and barked once to them. Both guards nodded and left. Fennu was quick to follow but Yinshen stayed at my side. Before leaving, Fennu looked back at me with a nasty grin.
"Don't get too comfortable python. I still have a use for you before this days end"!
The doors slammed shut. I turned to Yinshen. "Your boss seems to have a bit of an attitude". I mocked.
"He may be a hothead but at least he's giving me a roof over my head for the time being". Yinshen replied, walking from my side to the front of me.
"And you're willing to let Fennu destroy the valley of peace for that"? I asked shocked.
"If you knew what I had to deal with these last few weeks, you would understand why I would let him".
"I doubt that. Murderer". Finally I wiped that stupid smirk off of her face. But only for a few seconds.
"You talk the talk Mike. But"-
Yinshen pulled a key around her neck and began to unlock the padlock keeping the chains in place. "Let's see if you can walk the walk".
The chain was undone. Freeing me. The both of us circled each other.
"You're either very confident or very stupid to have done that". I challenged. "I can easily just defeat you and escape".
"Oh come Mike, what's life without a little risk? Besides, those doors are the only exit and they're barred off with heavy beams so I can be as confident as I want".
"Then I'll take you hostage and threaten to crush you until your bones break"! I threatened, hoping she wouldn't realize I was bluffing.
"I doubt that. You're too much of the goody goody type to do something so despicable". "Then come and find out". "With pleasure". Yinshen leapt at me with her fist raised, ready to strike me in the head.

VIPER POV
Po was quick on his feet when he wanted to be. I had searched almost all of the Jade palace and the town and still there was no sign of him. Then again, the only place I have yet to check was the barracks. I hoped he would be there as it was starting to get late. I made my way to the barracks and checked Po's room first and knocked. I heard the shuffling of feet on the other side.
"Uhhh... Noone home". I could only sigh at Po's childish answer.
"Po, please open the door. I'd like to talk to you". I replied calmly.
I only needed to wait a few seconds as the door creaked open and Po stuck his head round the door.
"Oh, hey Viper. whazzup? Just uh... warming up for... for sleeping. Yeah so... better get some sleep ya know"?
I just continued to stare, uninterested in what Po had said. But with each second that passed, Po's face began to get more and more flustered until.
"ALRIGHT! I admit it! I persuaded Mike to buy you that big box of chocolates to help you guys out on your date! But I didn't mean for you two to fight and break up, I swear"!
I blinked twice before speaking. "You mean that you're the reason Mike broke up with me"? I asked sadly.
"basically... yeah". Po said, lowering his head.
"...We'll talk about this later. Right now I need to find Mike". I then zoomed off out of the barracks, hoping there was still time to fix this!

MIKE POV
Damn, I can see what she meant earlier when she said "I won't go easy on you next time". Her skills had almost tripled and putting it simply, I was close to getting my butt kicked. A lot of her moves had struck home and I had a few bruises along part of my body. However my injuries were not in vain as Yinshen had a fair number of her own caused by yours truly.
"Good thing you're not afraid to hit girls". Yinshen spoke for the first time since before the fight had began, ten minutes ago. "I want this fight to last as long as possible".
I attacked immediately, aiming for her legs and nearly received a kick in the head for it if I hadn't turned in time. I raced up her and delivered a strong headbutt to her skull until she got a good grip of me and began to spin me around like a rope until I was dizzy. The next thing I knew, my head was slammed into the ground, followed by being stepped on. Before any of us could act, the door opened.
"It is ti- WHAT IS GOING ON"!? Yelled Fennu. Making the both of us face him.
"Just training is all Master Fennu". Yinshen replied, letting the rest of my body drop to the ground. Fennu glared at Yinshen a little before scoffing.
"Disgraceful creature". I didn't know whether he meant me or Yinshen. "Since you're already freed from your bonds python, you're coming with me".
"Where to"?
"The Valley of Peace of course".
"What? why are we going there so soon"?
"I never told you? You're nothing but leverage. An exchange for the dragon warrior"!
"What makes you think they'll accept an offer like that"?
"Either they agree". Fennu tapped his iron hammer. "Or I will literally crush your skull like an acorn". He grinned.

Another chapter already? I'm really moving through the chapters quickly :)
So now I've decided to bring in the main villain for the story, Fennu. A gorilla chieftain who once served under Lord Shen from Kung Fu Panda 2. More will be mentioned on his back story later on in the next chapter so threat not if there are some things you are unclear of about him.
On a different note, by tomorrow morning, this entire story will likely receive over 5000 views! I cannot express my gratitude to you guys, you are awesome for getting me so far and pushing me to continue writing! So here's a promise. If this story manages to get over 11000 views, I will write a second story. After this one is finished of course ^^ So keep going lads, I believe in you ;D Cheerio!
