To say Hellboy was anxious would be an understatement. Right after he, Abe, Liz, and Johann quit the B.P.R.D., he found that not only was he going to be a father, but he was going to have twins. At first, he was ecstatic when he heard the news, but the more he thought about it, the more it worried him.
"I hope they have a better life than I ever had." Hellboy thought to himself.
Hellboy, Liz, and Abe moved to New Zealand, while Johann found work at a different organization. The reason why they chose New Zealand is because it was where Abe's favorite movie series, The Lord of the Rings, was filmed. The three found a medium sized house that was surrounded by a wide, open field. It was exactly what Hellboy wanted. Clean air, green hills, a yard with lots of room to grow in, and zero people in sight.
"It's perfect." said Hellboy.
After a few days of settling in, Hellboy thought his worries about his children would soon disappear. But he was wrong. Very incorrect. Instead, his worries only increased. All he thought about was the worst possible outcomes in the situation. He tried to distract himself from these thoughts by reading a book, fixing up the house, and even doing the dishes, but nothing worked.
While walking around the living room, Hellboy thought of other ways to relieve his stress. He started to feel a bit hot, so he decided to take off his shirt. When he did this, he began to calm down. This got Hellboy thinking.
"Maybe if I take off more clothes, I might be able to relax. Hell, if that's the case, maybe I should go full commando. It's not like I live in a populated area." Hellboy thought to himself.
Hellboy then took of his boots and socks, exposing his blood red feet. He wiggled his toes for a few seconds, before removing his pants. The last piece of clothing on his body was a white jockstrap. He thought about taking it off, but he chose to keep it on for now.
"I'll just take it off later." said Hellboy.
Since Liz and Abe were off at a local market, Hellboy took the opportunity to go outside and get some fresh air.
Hope you enjoyed this first chapter. I've always been a fan of the original Hellboy movies and it's a shame the 3rd one got canned. I know there's a reboot, but I like to pretend that it doesn't exist. Also, I decided to change Hellboy's feet from cloven hooves to normal 5 toed feet, because the hooves just looked weird to me.
