Chapter 09 Telling the kids

Info: Nora, Miguel, Yolonda, Daisy (Linnie's sister) and Linnie belong to MilkyWayGalaxy4567, including the Anti-'s of them. I did ask for permission and they said yes.

The next morning Linnie woke up, he felt confused because his mobile phone was suddenly ringing right beside his bed.

"Hu?" Linnie questioned confused.

He held his phone but didn't recognise the number, so he just hit answer and held his phone to his ear.

"Um... good morning?" Linnie questioned.

"Good morning Mr Cosma. Here is Miguel Fairywrinkle... I was wondering if we could meet up today and talk about a few more things. My wife is away and I'm feeling bored already. And I got the day off thank god." Miguel's voice rang through the phone.

Linnie smiled a bit. "Um sure Mr Fairywrinkle. Let me just get washed and dressed and I'll see you at your house, ok?"

"Thanks, Mr Cosma. I'll see you for breakfast; if that's ok with you? My treat. See you in a bit." Miguel replied.

Linnie beamed a bit, got quickly washed and dressed and no two minutes later he was at the Fairywrinkle estate. Linnie looked around the massive building quite impressed. It was a huge difference from the two-bedroom apartment he was currently living in.

Linnie rang the doorbell and Yolonda suddenly appeared at the door, all decked out and dressed in a dark purple dress and shall. Linnie sometimes wondered if she'd even have an outside lover like how Miguel had with his wife, but it didn't bother him.

"Oh morning Cosma, Miguel is inside. Have a good day you two." Yolonda said and was gone just as quick.

"Good day to you too," Linnie replied, waving goodbye to Miguel's wife.

"Mr Cosma, is that you?" Miguel called out from the inside, "I'm in the kitchen."

Linnie entered the kitchen and looked quite surprised, Miguel was over the stove and flipping eggs, making bacon, sausages, baked beans and mushrooms for breakfast. His stomach was already swelling up with the growing baby inside of him and Linnie chuckled a bit at the appearance.

"I hope you've also brought some appetite along Linnie." Miguel smiled. "Yolonda doesn't really like my cooking."

Linnie found the plates and put two on a countertop, Miguel shared the meal between the two and they sat together at the table eating. Miguel pulled a face every now and then and Linnie looked at his 'friend' a little worried.

"Miguel, you ok? Or is something wrong with the baby?" Linnie inquired.

"The baby is doing just fine. Allowed me to sleep all night through and as I got up, washed, dressed and cooked it was lying calmly inside and I almost forgot about it. But as I looked at the green garden I thought of you again and since then the baby has been using my stomach as a punching bag, demanding I call you over. Heck, now it's lying nice and still inside of me and hasn't budged since we sat down," Miguel complained.

Linnie looked down and felt his heart hurt him-

"OWWW calm down you little cheek." Miguel suddenly spoke up again, feeling the baby kicking him hard again. "Ouch. Yes, yes I know he's here. Ouch."

Linnie giggled, Miguel looked bugged off and lightly pushed against his stomach, earning him a kick back again. Miguel then smiled and grabbed Linnie's hand, making him kneel in front of the larger man and feel the baby inside of him.

"That's so amazing," Linnie beamed, feeling every kick the kid made, "Calm down darling. I'm very excited when I can see you as a fully born baby too."

After the two men, more Linnie than Miguel, gushing over the baby moving so much in his stomach, they finished breakfast together and Miguel decided to get to the point as to why he had to call him over.

"Well Linnie, the reason I called you over is to ask you: Should we inform: Cosmo, Wanda, Darren, Chelse, and Blonda about the baby too? It's been bugging me for a while now. They are each individual our children via our own spouses, and this is technically all of their half-siblings, but I'm unsure how they all will react. What do you think?" Miguel asked.

Linnie froze, he sat on the couch and thought about it a while, Miguel sat upright and waited for Mr Cosma's reply. Linnie felt very unsure, for he knew he wasn't really really close with any of his kids. Heck since becoming a Fairy again he has hardly spoken to any of them.

"I think it would be a good idea... only I'm not sure what their reactions would be." Linnie said, "I haven't really been in much contact with Cosmo, Darren or Chelse since becoming a Fairy again."

Miguel nodded his head, "You've had other things to worry about... like trying to support your wife a lot?"

Linnie nodded his head and looked down, "I don't even know how they would react. Most likely shocked, horrified and maybe even disgusted. And the same might be for Cassia and Poof."

"True... but unless you want to hide this baby from them forever or even move to an entirely different universe they would question you where suddenly your baby comes from. And I don't mean the literal sense with birds and bees crap. I mean, where you actually got the baby from." Miguel sighed. "Damn I wish it wasn't so complicated."

Linnie got closer to Miguel and embraced him, rubbing over the much larger Fairy and warming him up with that simple hug.

"I'm sorry it is Miguel, you're right. But better now than never." Linnie smiled a bit. "I could inform my side of the children and you do yours? Then we can tell them together if you wish."

Miguel agreed, "Sure. Got nothing better to do."

They finished breakfast and agreed to do it after work in a few hours. Linnie sent all his children the invitation letters (including Wanda reading the same as Cosmo) and Miguel sent his children the letter too. Miguel then poofed himself to the junkyard again and Linnie back to the Kindergarten.

A few hours after work, Linnie and Miguel meet up again at Miguel's estate again.

Cosmo, Wanda, Poof, and Cassia came a few minutes later, followed by Darren and Blonda. The children looked at one another pretty bored as they were led in and everyone was in the living room.

Nora came five minutes later and Yolanda arrived as well, after going on an expensive clothes shopping spree. Both women had to take the last chairs in the living room as Miguel decided to sit next to Linnie on the couch, looking down and feeling a little sad.

"So... father you called us all together. What happened? And why do Nora and Linnie have to be here too if it's just about our family?" Wanda began asking.

Cosmo clutched a small silver flask in his hand and quickly hid it in his back pocket. Linnie looked a little heartbroken knowing his son would be on a downward spiral like Nora was and still is.

Miguel couldn't bring a word out, so he and Linnie sat next to one another and Linnie rubbed his back once more, trying to reassure him that he'd be there for him if things would suddenly go south.

"Because it's not quite just about the Fairywrinkles dear." Miguel sighed, tears falling, "It's about the Fairywrinkles... and Cosma's combined."

Nora gave him an ice-cold glare, Linnie's wings flared up and absorbed all the negativity Nora was trying to propel upon Miguel, Miguel blinked and looked up, seeing Linnie defend him.

"One word from you dear," Linnie sneered darkly glaring at his wife, "And I'll propel you out of the door so fast, you'd not know where up and down is anymore."

"Miguel should have just killed that thing then this would have been over much faster." Nora snapped.

"Wait." Blonda said, raising her hand, "Kill what? Who? What's going on guys?"

Cosmo, Wanda, Darren, Chelsea and Poof all looked just as confused, facing Nora. Who just pointed at Miguel.

"I'm not saying it. It's your problem Fairywrinkle. Not mine." She snapped again. "So go on, tell them."

Miguel sighed and nodded his head, "Guy's... I'm pregnant again. And Nora is the biological mother of the Fairy baby."

The children looked shocked, Cosmo, Wanda, Poof and Chelsea all looked like they had been punched. Blonda and Schnozmore don't look like they'd give a damn.

"So what." Blonda asked, painting her nails, "You got knocked up by a Cosma. Just abort the thing and let go of the past."

Wanda rolled her eyes at her sister's stupidity, "Looking at dad, I'm doubting he is still in his early stages Blonda. So no an abortion can't happen. For reasons we don't need to explain."

"Thank you, dear." Miguel sighed rolling his eyes.

"So..." Cosmo began, looking unsure at his 'father-in-law', "Will it be a boy or girl?"

Linnie blinked, true he still didn't know the answer either. He too looked at Miguel excited to finally find out. But Miguel still looked sad.

"Even though I've taken regular scans, the baby is still lying in odd positions, so I can't tell what gender it is. Only one thing is sure, the baby is there, alive, has a heartbeat and its magic is developing." Miguel sighed. "So, so far it's all good."

Cosmo looked at Linnie confused as he was the one who seemed the happiest out of all the Fairies in the room.

"Dad, what have you got to do with it? Other than mum getting him pregnant?" Cosmo asked.

Linnie smiled, "Well, your mother and Miguel being the biological parents, Mr Fairywrinkle had agreed with me that I may adopt the baby from them once it's born."

"Adopt. You couldn't take care of our other three children Linnie, so what makes you think you can take charge of this brat?" Nora snapped again.

Before Linnie could reply, Yolanda stood up, furious all over again. "Mrs Cosma shut your goddam mouth this instant! I believe that Linnie can take care of the kid. Miguel himself has seen photographs from Linnie that he already has set up the baby's nursery and it looks really good Mr Cosma. Good job."

Linnie smiled a bit, got his phone out and showed the kids the nursery, they all smiled and nodded their heads in agreement that Linnie had a good taste in kids' rooms.

But before Nora could but in again, Yolonda poofed her mouth shut and continued.

"From all four of us 'adults' sorry kids I'm not going to include you in the count, Linnie has had more love, affection and devotion for that one kid in his pinky than you'd ever have in your entire system, Nora!" Yolonda snapped again.

"Gah!" Miguel groaned, leaning forward, "Linnie please."

Linnie blinked, he quickly waved his wand so he and Miguel were sitting next to one another. Linnie's wings stretched out even further and curled around Miguel and his stomach tightly. Yolonda blinked and turned quickly to her husband, she didn't realize her's and Nora's negative affections were even affecting her husband and the baby.

Miguel bent over and the tiny baby was kicking up a storm. Suddenly he had an idea, grabbing Linnie he waved his wand and the two vanished from the spot.

Nora and Yolonda blinked, now what?

Miguel and Linnie were now in Miguel's office, Miguel had poofed them both on his couch and he was still in a lot of pain.

Linnie looked down ashamed, "Sorry that Nora has so many negative emotions towards the child Miguel. I didn't mean for you to suffer so much pain."

Miguel just lay down and groaned more, "Just, sit next to me again, please. And feel my stomach once more."

Linnie blushed, he did as Miguel asked and Miguel felt the warmth and pure love flowing from Linnie's eyes, through his hands and towards the baby. Firm kicks were already coming and the little baby was squirming like an eel inside of Miguel.

The shorter Fairy leaned back and relished Linnie's love for the baby, the baby was also loving the warmth as a sign it didn't kick as hard anymore and was getting a bit warmer.

"It's just always amazing," Linnie beamed, "Watching small Fairy babies develop. The most beautiful proportion between a body and its fetus."

Miguel chuckled a bit, "I find pregnancies just a lot of work. Pain and most of all during birth will the pain get ten times worse. But I hope this birth will flow normally and with a lot less pain than my first pregnancy."

Linnie blinked, "You mean as you had the twins Blonda and Wanda?"

"Correct. I was in so much pain during their delivery, that it took me two days to recover from their birth. But I'm still glad they've developed to be successful and beautiful women each." Miguel smiled.

"I agree with you. You've done, wonderful with those. I just wish at times I could have been there to raise my kids. Before the accident." Linnie sighed, sounding sad.

Miguel sighed again, "Don't worry about it Linnie, you've shown me and the others you know what to do should the baby attack you accidentally. And I believe you that you won't turn your back on the kid."

Linnie smiled, "I promise I won't M-"

"Please be quiet for a bit, I don't mean to irritate you but I just need some silence." Miguel sighed, closing his eyes.

Linnie nodded his head, Miguel lay even further back, still feeling Linnie's warmth through his stomach and he breathed calmly. The baby inside was also calming down and Miguel could finally think clearly.

He sadly now knew his wife and Blonda were both against the baby, including Nora. Cosmo, Schnozmore and Wanda seem to be for the kid as is Linnie. It was just so confusing how some can be against a living breathing being and others for.

Miguel knew where he stood by it: He was against the baby. He didn't want a reminder of the child to remind him that he had sex with a different person that wasn't his wife. But he knew Linnie wanted the child desperately.

Miguel was suddenly brought back to the now time as Linnie got up and walked out of the room.

'No Linnie, please come back. What's now wrong?' Miguel questioned.

Linnie left the room and headed to the kitchen, he got two cups of milk and walked them back to Miguel, it has been a few hours now and Miguel hasn't had a drink for a while.

"Sorry Miguel, you just seem dehydrated for a while. Here." Linnie smiled.

Miguel sat upright and accepted the drink, Linnie had his and they relaxed further. Once more Miguel felt the love Linnie had for the baby just by his quiet jesters towards his own health.

Linnie left one more time and got him some chocolate biscuits too. Miguel chuckled and rolled his eyes.

"I'm not a baby Linnie." He sighed, waving his wand for some more milk.

Linnie smiled, "Baby, young kid, teenager or adult, biscuits taste delicious and can make one feel better. Believe me."

"True." Miguel sighed enjoying the treat brought by his friend.

Miguel sighed and he and the baby felt much better now that they've calmed down from all the negative emotions outside. In fact, Linnie's huge positive emotion towards them was making Miguel smile and the baby also approved of it, by giving Miguel soft and calmer kicks inside of him, as if the kid was swimming.

Miguel finished the biscuits and milk, he nodded and Linnie and he headed back to the family.

As Linnie and Miguel got back, the 'kids' were still sitting in their chairs whiles Yollonda and Nora were shooting one another death glares of the coldest proportions.

"Ah you're back, you ok Miguel?" Yolanda asked, after seeing the men return.

Miguel sighed and rubbed a hand over his hair, "Yes, sorry dear. Just... all the coldness has stressed the baby out a lot and it and I needed a bit of a time out. But we're fine."

Cosmo decided to speak up, "We've seen the nursery now dad and is it me or are the clothes actually from my older sister Chelsea? I remember seeing as I was a kid baby photo of her wearing these."

Linnie giggles a bit, "Yes Cosmo you're right. But I had asked her first if I could use them and she allows me."

"That's very good." Wanda smiled, "Poof and Cassia would then have a playmate to play with too."

Miguel blinked and looked at Linnie, he too looked shocked at Wanda's suggestion.

"I... I... I'm not too certain about that Wanda. This baby is after all their half-uncle or aunt." Linnie trembled a bit. "Also... the baby would be still too young to even sit upright once it's born. So they would have to wait a few weeks until it can stand on its own two feet and wings, realistically speaking."

"Oh, no way!" Nora spoke up again.

Almost everyone rolled their eyes that she'd but up again.

"That baby's magic may not be able to be worked on you 'dear'," Nora snapped, glaring at Linnie, "Yes Miguel told me of his visit to your home, but what if that thing would attack Poof and Cassia? They are still young children themselves."

Linnie sighed, "Poof, Cassia, you both have learned of defence magic against other creatures' magic, right?"

Poof smiled, "Sure have. And we both passed the classes grandpa, Linnie."

"Thank you, you see 'dear', I believe Poof and Cassie can defend themselves against the baby's uncontrolled magic. Plus I can still keep an eye on them playing to make sure the baby won't try and turn them into things they are not." Linnie pointed out.

Cosmo beamed, "Thanks, dad. We could discuss time ideas after the birth of the child."

Linnie nodded his head. Miguel leaned back and sighed, Yolonda looked at her husband and saw he was almost dropping to sleep. She faced everyone.

"Ok, now that all that has been sorted do you all have any more questions about what's going on?" Yolonda asked.

Everyone shook their heads, and everything was understood. Yolonda waved her wand and opened the door.

"Ok, then have a safe trip home everyone and we might see you after the baby is born. Thanks for coming." Yolonda smiled. "Miguel you're off to bed now. You're tired."

Miguel nodded his head, the family left back to their own homes, Linnie quickly cleaned for Miguel and Yolonda their lounge up from everyone's visit and flew home himself.

Miguel and Yolonda flew side by side to their bedroom, they changed into their night clothes and lay in bed together. Miguel facing the window at the side of his bed and Yolonda hugging her husband from the back, her hands resting on his swelling stomach.

"It's really strange, and I still wanna kick myself for it." Miguel sighed, breaking the silence.

Yolonda sighed, "Darling, please don't stress too much about it."

"Not quite that dear. Just how this whole love thing works." Miguel blushed, "I know I slept with Nora and she's the biological mother of the baby as I am the bio father. However, Linnie has more love to fill the father and mother role of the baby that it's just strange... Somehow... I have a feeling this baby will fill a hole that was once in Linnie's own mind."

"Maybe. Now go to sleep, please." Yolonda said worried, "You will need all your energy for the birth soon."

Miguel nodded, he and Yolonda wrapped their arms once more around each other and fell fast asleep.

Quanktumspirit: "Maybe... no I'll leave that bit for the next chapter. Please review."
