After a defeated battle with the godhand instead of feasting on his corpse the apostle were too terrified of guts and send him to a new universe where he believes he is making a difference but in reality he isn't. Of course Guts is always a struggler… M for Berserk (RubyXGutsXCasca) Rewrite in progress!

1. When was peace so violent?

Rwby of Guts and Blood.

A/N hello everyone this is my revamp of Rwby a gusty world ( Now with proper title!) I've revamped the opening chapters because well they suck I've wanted to Rush past volume 1&2 to get to Volume 3 just for the Qrow vs Winter fight. ( yes I'll be honest that's primarily the reason that volume 1&2 are like 6 chapters long even if two is more dense) so I'm going back and adding more substance to them ( and revamping the rest of the work too as I'm kinda stuck on a writers block with the Invasion. But it's not abandoned

Also side not I'm not going to Revamp Idea of hope because let's be honest it's large enough already it's actually so large I can't edit it on my phone and my computer struggles to process it even. But I was able to do it so I call it a win.

Third thing is yes I will be expanding Ruby's story to the point she's not in a bubble like last time. ( yes this does mean we see Her "exploits" before Ruby and Guts get together.)

Last thing I swear I know before I said it was going to be a GutsX Ruby Story. That was before I knew Guts would go back in midland and Remeet Casca this story is now Truly GutsXRubyXCasca and will not change. Other pairings are YangXBlake, Weiss is undecided if you think of pairings please Pm me ( I don't think you can comment if you have already)

Note this is the first two chapters fused together and I have an entire plot now to fill the next "official" chapter with Guts and Ruby. I might add on more chapters to arc one but the arc will not end overlapping the previous planned chapter. So anytime from volume 2 forward is still fine to read ( you will be able to tell rewritten chapters by then having a title.)

Finally with that out of the way I give you

Of Guts and Blood: Chapter 1: Peace wasn't supposed to be so violent.

Chapter start

It was supposed to be peaceful.

He was finally supposed to have peace.

He was supposed to be left alone.

outside of the groups cottage in elf hime shared by his other travel companions, Guts stood before the spot the moonlight boy once occupied…

Now it was only occupied by Griffith.

"Griffith"

"Griffith"

"GRIFFITH!"

That guy…was spouting some nonsense about a feeling…and something about morning dew?

But it didn't matter the bastard was here and he would kill him! Casca was safe the others could hold there own.

The bastard was his this time!

He charged at Griffith sword raised

Only to slice right through him…

But not cleanly

No it's as if he wasn't even there.

He tried to swing again

And again

And again

Miss.

Miss.

Miss.

Guts panted falling to his knees as he tried to stand up and take another swing…

When he noticed a growing shadow around him

He looked up and noticed a fist falling down on him

Guts was too slow to react in time

Guts had died instantly…

Guts had died the worst way possible.

He'd let the beast get control of him charge headlong into a battle he knew he couldn't win…

But well…he always was able to pull out the worst in him…

Guts opened his eye and looked around… the place was covered in red faces he looked down and noticed he was missing all his stuff… in fact he was missing everything

He was naked… sitting in a lake of blood

His blood? No but blood none the less

To anyone else it was a nightmare but not to Guts as he stood up and waded out of the pool face set in stone he knew exactly where he was.

Qliphoth.

Specifically The eclipse…

Guts looked up and found a Hand posing in the sky a hand of faces

There was a bolt of lighting and suddenly there were 4 figures on the fingers of the hand most accurate to them there personality and Role.

Void, the Enforcer, The leader, on the Pointer finger.

Slant Whore of desire, Lust, Debatuary, on the ring finger

Conrad. Disease, pestilence, on the pinky

Ubik, the Talker, on the thumb.

"You've finally arrived!" Voids voice boomed

Guts looked around and noticed that around him hundreds of apostle's were surrounding him ready for a feast.

Still undeterred he turned back to The hand

And noticed there was one figure missing on the hand.

The middle finger…

"Is Griffith not joining us?" Guts asked

"Do not speak his name." Void boomed

Guts rolled his eyes

"Look at you standing there…your about to bare witness to an event that has been in the planning for eons."

"But first… a feast." Void said

Guts looked around and noticed none of the apostle's move. They were riveted in place…

Riveteted in fear.

This angered void

"Even in this glorious moment you need to ruin everything

How does it feel? To put fear into the unfearing?

It must make you feel powerful?

But your not and you will learn just how insignificant you really are,

You will learn that you are in fact nothing…

As chaos folds around you, you will do nothing,

As death happens before you, you will not save them because you can't

As your victories crumble around you, you will feel every anguish. Every torment, every pain…

For eternity

This is your fate presented to you…for trying to play god…

And it will drive you insane." Void announced as he raised one of his inhuman like long hands from under his cloak holding a black ball. Which he threw at Guts feet.

The hole swollowed him up as he started to fall into the black

Falling

Falling

"Aahhhhhhhhhhh-oomph!"

Guts landed on a pile of snow. Well he assumed. After all snow was cold and white…and he was laying in something cold and white…

Guts sat up… he noticed trees… he noticed a light in the tree line.

'Civilization?' Guts though?

He picked himself up and started to move towards the light…

Then moving faster and faster into a full sprint.

He was running off of adrenaline now mind moving at a thousand miles a minute.

He needed shelter, he needed warmth otherwise he'd freeze to death out here.

Guts was so focused on following the light he didn't notice he himself being stocked…

Guts after what felt like a mile of running had found the "civilization" he saw…

Namely a lone shack with a candle in the window…

Guts feet hurt… his entire body shivered

God he was cold!

He took a step towards the Shelter

When he suddenly tripped

No not tripped

Something knocked him down…

Guts heard growling behind him

'Sounds like a wolf of some kind…' guts reasoned

Guts in an instant flipped on his back to get a look at the creature.

Only to be stunned

"What the fuc-." Guts asked as the Monster roared

However it wasn't any sort of monster

Guts reconized it

Four legs like a wolf. Other wolf like features

Triangle muzzle.

Although there were several Bone plates attached to it on the outside like rudimentary armor.

But that didn't matter Guts still recognize it

It was the beast of darkness.

He looked around knowing that this time Guts wouldn't survive the encounter if he lunged at him.

The only thing he could find however was a rotten stick.

'I smell your fear…embrace it…let out your darkness.' The beast said

Guts and the beast had a standoff

'If you won't embrace it…then I will drag it out of you!' The beast roared as it lunged at Guts

Guts reacted throwing himself to the left as the beast crashed into the snowbank

Guts grabbed the stick and spun around knowing the beast despite crashing into the ground would still be right on top of him.

He was right.

Guts saw the stick Smack against the beasts neck making him stumble

But not defeated.

Guts now armed looked to see his safety behind him

'To far I'd never make it.' Guts thought

Guts looked back gritting his teeth 'I have to end this fast. I can't be stuck fighting an apostle-like monster in the snow, I'll die.' He looked at his weapon

'It seems i have only enough for one or two good swings…I'll have to make it count…' Guts stared at The beast.

The beast kicked off of the ground and lunged at Guts

Guts reacted on instinct as he threw the stick above his head and on the beast!

Only for it to give in and snap in two halfway!

'Fuck!' Guts swore to himself as the beast kept charging head butting Guts in the stomach sending him on the ground.

Guts looked up as The beast staired at him about to charge.

Guts got ready to dodge but found it unnecessary as a shot rang out hitting the beast in the shoulder making it stumble and pause. Roaring in anger about being interrupted.

The beast locked eyes on Guts and charged again

"Fuck!" Guts could have sworn he heard someone say

Suddenly a Large sword land inbetween Guts and the beast.

Guts noticed the blade was several triangles attached to each other in several sections. And a massive amount of gears along the handle Guts didn't care it was a sword, he lunged for the sword before he even heard the voice again him say "wait."

Guts grabbed the sword and lunged noticed the blade was lighter than expected as he launched off his feet and dragged the blade across the neck of the beast of darkness. Severing the head.

And like that Guts physical manifestation of the beast of darkness was slain. As he laid on the ground it had a few last words to say to Guts.

'Don't think this is over…'

Guts felt the effects instantly feeling lighter and happier than he has in years.

Suddenly a crunch of snow was heard Behind Guts as he turned around and leveled the blade at the stranger.

All he saw was a man in his 30's with slick back hair a grey suit and red cloak attached with black pants. He raised his arms up in a 'chill friendly'

"Woah kid I'm not going to hurt you." He said as he took a tentative step forward

Guts let out a scowl making the man stop.

The man let out sigh and closed his eyes when he opened them Guts saw he only had compassion in them

Guts curiously lowered the weapon slightly as the Man reached up to his shoulders and unhooked his Cloak.

"Here!" He said as he tossed it to Guts which he caught

"Tie that around you. No need for you to freeze yourself to death." The man said

Guts dropped his sword and wrapped the man's cloak around him.

"If you want to the cabins open with a fire roaring you can warm yourself up." He said as he thumbed the Cabin Guts was running to before

Guts looked at him cautiously not sure if the man was trying to get him in a vulnerable position. But no matter if so he'd be ready for it.

Still though Guts was getting cold.

Reluctantly he made his way into the Cabin leaving the weapon behind in favor of wrapping the cloak around him more.

The man watched him go in before he looked back at the monster corpse

"How was there a grimm of that size and was never spotted on Patch, I'll probably never know. Now how the kid was able to kill it. Especially so easily however. That I'm going to find out." He said as he headed inside

He walked in and found Guts sitting by the fire

The man shook his head "you know the lights right here you know?" He said as he flipped the light switch by the door

He would never get over the look of shock plastered on the kids face

'Jeez it's as if the kid was living in the woods his whole life…he'd probably have to be introduced to electricity. And other modern technology…' the man rolled eyes fortunately it wasn't his problem.

"Listen the name is Qrow…" he said Trying to start up a conversation

Unfortunately The kid didn't bite

Qrow sighed 'this is going to be harder than I thought.'

"Look I'm going to get you some clothes then I'll start making some food you clearly are hungry." He said as he walked down the hall.

"You can put my sword in the corner by the Chair over there." He said as he walked away.

Guts just kept looking at the fire…

Eventually Qrow came back and tossed Guts some new clothes and started working on Food for the both of them.

It was a simple stew but both ate it eagerly

Especially Guts

Qrow sighed clearly he wasn't getting anywhere by just waiting for the kid to open up

"Look kid I'm not going to hurt you." Qrow started

"Will you cut that out?" Guts said glaring at Qrow

Qrow raised his hands above his head "oh joy you can speak I was thinking for a while now you were mute." He said

Guts looked away

"…there isn't much to say…" he said

"You could start with your name." Qrow prompted

"…Guts" he said reluctantly.

"Weird name but I'm not one to judge…" Qrow said

"Yeah, seeing as you're named after a bird. It' is kinda fitting though." Guts said

Qrow raised an eyebrow

"Are you calling me dumb?" He asked

"No just unobservent…I mean why are you still calling me a kid we're about the same age." Guts said

Qrow laughed at that

"Buddy! I don't know if you hit your head but i have two nieces about your age. You look like a normal 16 year old to me."

Guts was shocked and looked over to a window and saw his reflection

Qrow was right. He looked like he did before when he was 16…back in the 100 years war…

Back before…

…Griffith…

"Hey hey kid. You ok?" Qrow asked teaching across the table and placing a hand on Guts sholder

Guts reacted instantly throwing Qrow off and spinning around on him

"DON'T TOUCH ME!"

Qrow stood shocked at the sudden 180 Guts did.

He especially didn't like the expression Guts was giving him now

He looked like a wounded animal…

And Qrow could tell

These wounds ran deep…

'What the hell have I gotten myself into.' Qrow though

Qrow slowly sat down across the table moving slow as not to aggravate Guts

"It's ok…" Qrow said calmly

Guts scoffed

"What I'm wondering about Is how you were able to kill that Grimm." Qrow said

"Grimm?" Guts asked

Qrow looked confused 'did this kid not know?'

"The beast you slayed with my sword." Qrow said

Guts nodded in understanding.

"I…have experience with hunting Monsters…"

"Are you a huntsman?" Qrow asked

"A what?" Guts asked

"That's a no then…" Qrow sighed

"Whatever it is, I'm good at hunting whatever that thing was… I'm probably going to be doing it anyways…" Guts said

He stood up

"Thanks for the meal." As he started to walk towards the door.

"Hey wait!" Qrow called as he ran after him

"You don't have to leave right away. Stay for the night. Besides…do you have any idea where you are anyways?"

Guts froze with his hand on the doorknob

'Damn!' Guts hated to admit it but Qrow was right. He had no weapons no gear, no idea where he was. The local fanua or anything he'd need to survive. Honestly he got damn lucky running into him.

Guts let go of the handle

"Fine. I'll stay but I want a sword to defend myself with." Guts said

Qrow nodded "ok that's fare I can see what I can do. A longsword would do good for you." Qrow said

"No greatsword." Guts said

"Greatsword kid I don't think you could lift it?" Qrow said

"I lifted yours just fine." Guts said

'He did, even with the aura lock which is impressive as it doubles the weight making it less likely to be stolen.' Qrow thought

"Alright I'll accept these terms. So long as you stay and tell me your story…" Qrow said

Guts shrugged "don't expect much I'm not much of a talker…"

Later that night Qrow sat in his room by his desk talking on his scroll to Ozpin

In the next room over Guts laid on the bed, tense, while Qrow didn't make any advances on him it didn't mean he wouldn't try…

"I'm telling you Oz the kid is just strange…" Guts heard Qrow's muffled voice

'Oz?' Guts thought as he sat up he looked over to his Pillow and pulled out a Chiefs knife he swiped from the kitchen before going to bed and quietily going to Qrow's room

Guts pushed open the Door and saw Qrow hunched over the desk

"I don't know what to tell you I know what I saw." He said

Qrow looked over his shoulder when he heard the Door open

"Gotta go…yeah it's the kid. Bye." He said as he put the scroll down

"What's up kid can't sleep?" Qrow asked

"Do you always talk to yourself?" Guts asked

"I wasn't talking to myself." Qrow

"There is no one here and your talking…so yeah you kinda were." Guts said

"No I wasn't I-…oh crap you don't know what scrolls are." Qrow said

Guts tilted his eyebrow in confusion but said nothing

Qrow spun around to explain the invention to Guts

"It's a way for us to talk to other people across long distances." Qrow explained

"Is this more of eletrysity?" Guts asked

"Electricity…and…it's a byproduct." Qrow said

Guts nodded not believing him but also not thinking he was lying either

"I'm courious why you named them off of rolled up piles of papers." Guts said

"Piles of paper kid, are you okay?" Qrow asked

'First not knowing about Grimm, then not knowing about Huntsman, What's next this kid believes he's from a different universe?'

Guts obliged "would you believe me if I said I might have come from a different universe?"

Qrow tried to meld his head with the desk.

"Just fucking great." 'Curse his luck.' He thought

"Who were you talking to?" Guts asked as he crossed the room

"My boss." Qrow said looking up as his aura healed the injury his head sustained.

"…about me?" Guts asked inquisitively

Qrow looked at Guts out of the corner of his eye

"Your quiet observant." He said

Guts scoffed "I had to be if I wanted to live."

"Yes about you…the situation here is complicated, and we don't know where you fit into it. I'm not trying to judge you it's just-."

"Security is of utmost importance…" Guts said

Qrow was shocked but nodded

"Yeah…" he said

Guts nodded "I understand. Talk to your, Oz… I'm going to bed." Guts said as he left

Qrow watched him go and noticed he was holding the kitchen knife

'He's quiet paranoid…' Qrow though as he called Ozpin again

"Hey Oz, yeah it's me again…the kid caught me…inquisitive fella…listen so…"

Guts got into his room and fell asleep.

The next day Guys woke up and Sat up.

"Hey." A voice said to his left

Guts reacted instantly as he grabbed the Cheifs knife and threw it at the voice.

"WOAH!" Qrow ducked down as the knife was lodged directly where his head was.

Qrow looked at the knife in shock as Guts looked at Qrow in shock

The message was clear

Don't sneak up on Guts.

Qrow sighed "I've made breakfast for you downstairs. After that we can figure out about a weapon and equipment." He said

"I thought you wanted to keep an eye on me?" Guts asked

"I am. But my boss wants to test you…says that you might qualify for this "special program" Qrow said

Guts narrowed his eyes

"Is he government?" Guts asked

"He's a headmaster, school professor." Qrow said

Guts sighed… "very well." He said as he got up and dressed Qrow left the room

Guts came down to the kitchen with the knife and put it away in the block

Qrow stood by the counter "sit and eat there will be plenty of time for us to talk after." Qrow said

Guts sat down and ate the food, it was a simple pile of eggs.

"So first question. Why do you believe that your from a different universe?" Qrow asked

"…Are these questions important?" Guts asked

"There to help validate your story." Qrow nodded

Guts sighed

"Several factors. Apart from the fact that the monsters I've fought are far weaker than what I'm use to, the fact you have electricity… or the Weapon's. And I know for a fact I've never heard of a place called Remnant… and I doubt you've heard a place called midland." Guts explained

Qrow shook his head "can't say that I have."

Guts sat back "next question." He said just eager to get this over with and have his own weapon again.

"Can you tell me what caused you to come to our world?" Qrow asked

Guts scoffed "I'm not sure you'd believe me." He said

Qrow leaned forward "try."

Guts sighed "…spiteful demons with an unknown goal, cursed me slaughtered all my firends and branded my soul to be hunted for the rest of my days. Myself and my lover were the only ones to survive and have been on the run ever since." Guts said

Qrow sat down in shock

"Woah…" he said

"That's the simplest version and not nightmares inducing." Guts said

Qrow nodded

"Any other questions?" Guts asked

"Not at the moment…" Qrow said

Guts nodded and stood up before heading to the fireplace

Qrow looked down at Guts

"The monster's you faced in your world…how tough were they?" Qrow asked

"Enough to kill at least 50 of your Grimm in one punch." Guts said seriously

Qrow didn't believe him as he scoffed "ok ok… I'm sure they were tough but you don't have to exaggerate that much." He said as he took a sip from his flask on his hip

Guts didn't say anything as he looked back at the fire.

"When am I going to get my sword?" He asked

Qrow looked down at Guts from his drink and put his flask away.

"I Um let me send this information to Oz, then we will see what he says."

"Don't mention how I got here. I'm sure he won't believe it." Guts said

Qrow rolled his eyes "to be fare I'm not sure I believe it but ok in that case what do I say?"

"Say I took a Drunk stroll in the woods and you came upon me." Guts said

Qrow nodded "seems reasonable enough. And would make you still skilled to fight that well drunk." Qrow said

He nodded and headed upstairs to tell Ozpin as Guts kept looking at the fire.

While Qrow was talking Guts happened to come across some rudimentary armor. A solid Chestplate and crotch strap, bracers and Greaves.

Qrow came down "I've gotten the go ahead to allow you to get a Weapon-oh." Qrow paused as he saw the armor

Guts looked back at Qrow confused

"…What?" He asked

Qrow shook his head "it's nothing. Stay here ill come back with a Weapon for you to try out." He said as he left

Outside the Cabin Qrow leaned against the door he sighed and took a swig of alcohol "of course he found my trophy stash." He muttered as he walked away.

Unknown to Qrow this was the start of a long week.

The amount of times that Qrow had to go back to the local blacksmith. To get a new sword for Guts to try out was flat out ridiculous.

Qrow was fortunately able to shell out the money but even then he was reaching into deep pockets for it.

Everytime Guts had the same response

"I feel like I'm going to snap it."

Or

"This is to light to do any damage."

By the end of the week the snow started to dry up Qrow was annoyed

The blacksmith looked up here was a valuable costumer he's given him more money in a week then he had the entire last year working here.

"Qrow what can I do for ya." The man said by the forge

"Greatsword." He said slapping the money down

"Kid didn't like the last one either huh?" He asked

Qrow shook his head "give me the heaviest one you got." Qrow said tired

"Are you sure?" The blacksmith asked

"I just want this over with." Qrow sighed

The end of the day the sword was ready as Qrow had to drag it back to his cabin to give it to Guts

Qrow found Guts outside as he stood beside a tree smacking one of the heavier swords against one of the lighter ones against the tree

Guts swung and broke the lighter blade in one hit.

Guts scoffed and tossed the lighter on the ground

"Hey!" Qrow snapped

Guts turned around as Qrow dropped the Heavy sword on the Ground by his feet with a loud Bang reverberated across the ground

"That's the heaviest he could make it…I swear the damn thing is unwieldy." Qrow said

'The kid can't even lift it.' Qrow said as looked at him

Guts stuck the sword he was just using leaning against the tree. As he walked over to the fallen blade and grabbed it and lifted it up skyward easily

Qrow's Jaw dropped

Guts pivoted on his heels and with all his might swung it against the sword

A mighty clang was heard as the blades meet

The lighter blade snapped before Guts drove the heavier one thought the tree and out the back as the tree fell and crashed on the other side

Guts examined the blade for damage findings it satisfactory he hummed "it'll do." As he walked away

Qrow was still trying to pick his jaw up off the ground as Guts walked away.

Once Qrow got his thoughts in order it was to late to test Guts so they are dinner and went to bed

They will have their fight, first thing tomorrow.

The next day both men got up and unknown to the other both were eager for the battle ahead

Qrow was anxious 'from what I've seen this man is nothing to be messed with. I have to be careful.'

Guts on he other hand was eager 'it's been too long since I've swung my sword despite it only being a week, maybe two… I'm very eager to put this new sword to the test… it's not dragonslayer. But I guess this is the best I'm going to get.'

Finally after breakfast the two stood outside of the cabin Guts in his rudimentary armor

Something that worried Guts

"Look kid, if you don't want to fight it's fine, it's just that it's not much of a resume for my boss. Anyone can cut down a tree. But it's different from fighting an opponent that moves." Qrow said

Guts looked unsure.

"Look what's the matter kid?" Qrow asked

"It's just I don't want to hurt you, your not wearing any armor, I could kill you." Guts said

Qrow looked in understanding 'right, no knowledge of Aura.'

Qrow shook his head "don't worry about that. There is this thing called aura. It acts as a defense mechanism that allows us to defend against attacks. Simply put just fight, I'll be able to take it."

Guts looked unsure but sighed "very well…" he said as he Dropped his visor on his helmet he scavenged from Qrow's trophies looking reminiscent of his open visor helm from before he met Griffith.

Guts lowered his stance facing his body towards Qrow leaning slightly forward his Sword braced on his right shoulder,

Qrow brought his sword out and flaunted it towards Guts.

Guts was unimpressed and staired coldly at Qrow

Suddenly Guts jumped off his feet and charged at Qrow

"ARGH!"

"Woah!" Qrow snapped as he jumped back dancing on the balls of his feet to get away as Guts Slammed his blade on the ground.

Qrow landed in a crouch to brace his knees. As he looked at Guts shocked

'That power!' Qrow thought in awe. He stood up trying to act cool.

"Hmm seems I need to actually consider this to be a fight to the death if I am to survive." Qrow said

Guts narrowed his eyes as Qrow charged at him.

'3…2…1.' Guts though as he Swung and parried Qrow's Lunge upwards at the time both of his feet left the ground sending Qrow Skyward

Qrow looked down in awe as the ground got further away.

'That Strength!' Qrow thought his mind abuzz.

However Qrow had no time for thought as Guts reared his blade upwards and attempted to Stab him between the legs as he fell back down

Qrow was just lucky to parry that avoid getting skewered as he landed on Solid ground.

'That skill!' Qrow thought as he scanned Gut's actions looking for any weaknesses he was broadcasting.

He wasn't he wasn't tired…he wasn't angry…he looked like a statue

'This man could be our greatest asset or our worst enemy.' Qrow thought finally understanding the gravity of the situation.

Qrow stood up

"Ok then…my turn…" Qrow said as he charged at Guts

Guts waited as Qrow approached Qrow smirked

'He thinks I'm going to fall for a faint like that again!' Qrow thought

As he got closer Guts swung trying to cut off Qrow's knees but the man jumped over the cut and landed behind him

Guts and Qrow's Swords interlocked

"Your pretty good." Qrow said

"I must admit you impressed me as well." Guts said

"Oh only impressed?" Qrow asked

"Well your not weak so that's a plus." Guts said as he headbutted Qrow making him grab his head and stumble back

"Argh!"

Qrow would never be able to explain it but in that one moment he felt his entire soul scream out to him 'JUMP LEFT!'

Qrow did so and a loud boom was head as Qrow looked over

And noticed a small crater where Qrow once stood

Guts could have killed him had he not moved

Qrow jumped back as Guts countuned the pressure to attack Qrow who was literarily near shiting himself in fear

'Motherfucker!' Qrow hissed as he hid behind a tree

'Wait can't he cut trees?' Qrow thought

Suddenly there as a crack as Qrow looked down to his waists and found the tip of the sword buried in the tree stump

Suddenly Ruby and her blanket was lifted up and deposited onto her bunk. By a glyph from Wiess.

"Well that was effective." Yang said

"Now who's getting the other beds?" Blake asked

Suddenly there was a knock on the door as Yang took off her top and answered the door before Weiss could tell her not to

"Um can I help you?" Yang asked

On the other side was Guts standing there "I'm yea two things one I'm just the room next door I was wondering what the noise was about." Guts said not noticing She was topless.

"See I told you you were being too loud Yang AND PUT A SHIRT ON!" Weiss screamed

"Ok ok so the rooms are not sound proof my bad!" Yang huffed as she put on her tank top again

"And the second thing?" Blake asked

"Oh yea. Well during the entrance exam my sword broke and I need to have it repaired?"

From under the sheets a pair of silver eyes bore themselves at the door.

"Oh no now you've done it?" Yang murmured.

"Can't you fix it yourself?" Weiss asked

"I was never taught how." Guts said shrugging

Weiss was about to explode about how he couldn't not know about taking care of his own weapon when Ruby shot out of the bed and appeared under his nose. In her pajamas with a glare.

"So you broke your sword because of recklessness and your looking for someone to help fix it huh?" Ruby asked almost angry like.

Yang was floored while the others were shocked Yang had expected her to go hyper at the chance to look at a new weapon but instead she was chewing into the guy for…on second thought no that made perfect sense.

Guts smiled at her "yea I guess I am do you think you can help me?" Guts asked

'Damn him for being cute!' Ruby thought as her hormones exploded wanting to get fucked again this time by Guts. But she held it down and sighed

Ruby crossed her arms and huffed "fine I guess but you owe me!" She said as she walked over to the bed and pulled the thumb grip of crescent rose back to reveal a Philips head screwdriver. She planned on cashing in her "favor." When she needed to

'Maybe I can get him to kiss me?' Ruby thought as she stood up

Before she walked out of the room she turned to the girls "I'll be back with Guts to access the damage. To his weapon you girls get to bed we have class tomorrow." She said as she walked off.

They made there way to the blacksmith forge as they walked Guts noticed they got closer and closer. But he pretended not to notice.

As they entered Ruby's eyes lit up like jewels before they focused on there task and turned to Guts looking at them through steel.

"Alright show me your weapon." Ruby said

Guts reached over and produced the two broken pieces of the sword. And held them out

He was suprised that Ruby was able to hold onto the blade without commenting on the weight.

Ruby let out a whimper as she looked as if someone kicked a puppy in front of her.

"What has he done to you?" Ruby said as she gripped both pieces of the blade and realized something.

"Wait a second I don't feel any of your aura in this blade." She said

"Huh?" Guts asked

Ruby looked at Guts like he had a second head.

"Are you telling me you fought Grimm with a run of the mill, off the shelf sword?" Ruby asked not knowing either to be in awe or enraged.

"Are you telling me there is a difference?" Guts asked

Ruby's rant died on her lips as her anger shifted from one of rage to one of shock.

He didn't know.

Ruby facepalmed sighed into her hand and began to explain.

"Ok, simply put grimm "blood" is acidic to most metals meaning unless protected by some means the metal will grow weaker and weaker each Grimm killed. In order to prevent this many huntsman infuse there auras into the metal they craft their weapons out of. This protects the metal much like your aura protects you in a fight." Ruby said

"Ok That makes sense." Guts nodded

"Good. Now there are other techniques that cultures have used before they unlocked their aura however this is usually a coating that needs to be reapplied and is less consistent than the Aura method. The other thing about it is that infusing your aura to the weapon you gain an innate understanding with the weapon. Aura is the extension of one's soul. So by coating it with your aura your weapon becomes part of you." Ruby said

Guts nodded.

"I see that makes sense. So first how do we make a new weapon?" Guts asked

"Wait you don't want to remake this one?" Ruby asked

Guts shrugged "as you said I didn't infuse my aura into it so it's just a lump of metal. However I have an idea what we can do with it but first a new sword. Besides. That sword doesn't feel right sense I unlocked my aura I need a new one." Guts said

Ok I guess I can help you out what are your thoughts?" Ruby asked

"First it has to be a greatsword. Two it has to be heavy. I've always grown up with swords too big for me so that's what I'm use to." Guts said

Ruby nodded sure it was weird, but if it's what he was used to who was she to argue.

"Third, it must be able to slay a dragon." Guts said

"Ok what about mecha-shift and guns?" Ruby asked

"Huh?" Guts asked

"Many huntsmen have their weapons change from a melee weapon to a range weapon. Example my weapon Crescent Rose is a high impact sniper rifle mixed with a scythe." Ruby said

Guts shook his head "no transformation. Just a basic sword… however… I'd like to make a metal gauntlet that I can change into an arm cannon." Guts said

Ruby smiled that seemed to be a very interesting weapon indeed.

"Alright I think I got it now, what are we going to do with the broken weapon?" Ruby asked

"Well I was thinking of a belt of throwing knives that I can throw and then pull them back towards me." Guts said

Now that was a creative weapon.

"Ok, that seems quite doable, with some gravity dust." Ruby said

Guts nodded and got to work as he picked out the metal Ruby walked him through the process. And in the time there became a good black smith.

He finished each of the throwing knives and handed them off to Ruby for her to put the gravity dust in.

While he was doing that she was also planning Guts arm cannon. And the Dragonslayer v2. Using her semblance to do all three tasks at once.

Guts was shocked that he got his new gear by the end of the hour.

Finally it was test fitting time.

Guts strapped the belt of throwing knives over his armor as Ruby gave him a purple ring. "This is the gravity dust, you throw a knife then push some aura through the ring and the knife will return to the ring just remember to catch the knife." Ruby said

Guts threw a knife into the wall It dug into the wall and he activated the ring and the knife shot back to him he caught it.

"Thanks." Guts said as he sheathed the knife.

Ruby nodded impressed with his inate ability to use dust

Ruby gave Guts a silver metal gauntlet like any normal battle armor.

"So the gauntlet is simply you have all range of motion with your fingers and just drop your hand down and a one shot cannon blast will shoot out." Ruby said

Guts smiled as he tested it unloaded it felt just like it was before but even easier because he had the use of his hand.

"What sort of dust do you recommend using?" Guts asked

"Well you didn't give me a caliber size so I just bored a hole in." Ruby said

Guts looked down and true to her word the hole was there enough for about a fist.

"It's enough, thanks." Guts said as he stood up

"Wait wait don't forget the grand reveal!" Ruby said as she shoved Guts back in the chair something that she'd later comment confused her and made her blush had she been paying attention.

However she wasn't and sighed

"And finally." Ruby said as she went over to hand the sword to guts but it was too heavy. " Well here's the sword, ugh! Ooh Um it's actually too heavy for me to pick up now." Would you?" She asked Guts cutely

Guts walked over and grabbed the handle. Pushing some Aura into it he lifted it up making the cloth covering it drop away.

It felt like he was made to hold it. It was heavy but not overly so…

Guts didn't know how but somehow she perfectly replicated the Dragonslayer, it's thickness, it's weight. Everything.

"It's Perfect." Guts said as he shouldered the Dragonslayer over his armor.

Ruby smiled while Guts asked for a stupidly simple design. It clearly suited him. He looked like he had been using it for years.

"That's great. Well you can tell me how it feels tomorrow. I'm off to bed. I have class in the morning night Guts

"Night Ruby." Guts said as he headed back to the dorm and fell asleep.

I hope you liked the new danger I added to Ruby's libido trust me it's gonna come into play a lot.
