After a defeated battle with the godhand instead of feasting on his corpse the apostle were too terrified of guts and send him to a new universe where he believes he is making a difference but in reality he isn't. (Prologue)

(2 days after the dock hiest)

Roman Torchwick made his way to an abandoned Warehouse with a suitcase of Dust. The very best of the stuff they did manage to steal both Crystalized and Powdered form.

He entered and found a single swinging light above a table

The idea was a simple dead drop, leave the case and leave then an hour later Roman would get a message from her about his next target.

His benefactor was really paranoid for some reason.

She'd all but cut contact with Roman Sense the night he robbed the Dust till Dawn.

He laid the case on the table and sighed

"How very disappointing,Roman." A female voice said behind him

Roman spun around schooled not expected this development

"Woah!" He sighed as he calmed down

"Well you were the ones who told me to work with the stupid mutts from the White Fang."

"I think he's just trying to cover his ass." A voice said to the women's left. But he couldn't tell as it was voice disguised

Apparently his benefactor had lackies of her own.

"Quiet." The women said as she stepped forward and lit a small fire in her hand although Roman didn't see any dust.

"Still the forces we provided you were adequate enough right?"

"If you count the amount I gathered to be successful then yeah. But only just.

"I think he's trying to cover his ass." The voice disguised said

Roman grit his teeth but his benefactor raised her hand.

"It's enough. Roman you've done quiet well anyway's you will continue to work with the White Fang. And we will ignore your failings tonight at the dock's I think that's understandable I'd it not Roman?" His benefactor said

Roman nodded after a pause

"… yes I believe that is fairly reasonable…Cinder." Roman said

As the women stepped forward into the light to reveal Cinder fall. a fair-skinned woman with ashen-black hair that covers her left eye. She has bright amber eyes.

She wears lipstick and violet eyeshadow. She wears a dark red, off-the-shoulders v-neck mini dress with yellow designs. There is a blue feather-like accessory on her right hip at the top of an open portion of her dress. The dress ends in an upside-down triangular tail in the back, ending just above the knees.

There is a quarter-circle shaped keyhole on the dress' upper back at the same height as her chest. The sleeves end in a triangle shape, which are wrapped or tied around her middle finger, with the gold designs of the sleeve taking over at the wrists. Her fingernails are painted dark red.

She wears black shorts underneath her dress, as well as a black choker on her neck. She has a gold loop earring with a black gem dangling from it on her right ear. She has dark, glass, high-heeled shoes and a jeweled anklet on her right leg.

On her upper back, in the keyhole of her dress, she has a black tattoo of what appears to be a pair of high heel shoes placed sole to sole, forming a heart shape inside.

Roman opened the case and stepped back allowing Cinder to see the contents And showed her the amount he had.

There were 3 small dust Crystal's the size of a pinky one Yellow. One Red and one Blue

And next to it was 3 canister's each 1/4th full of the same color dust as the Crystal's

They glowed vivid colors and nearly shined with otherworldly power. Cinder seemed mesmerized.

"This is…all of it?" Cinder asked

From behind her two lackies looked at each other worried.

"All that was from Grade A dust. Grade B and C stock is being processed." Roman said

"This is a quarter of what was demanded!" Cinder growled as she slammed the lid of the case down and started to walk away

"We'll give me subpar units and I'll give you substandard results! Look!" Roman said as he grabbed Cinders Shoulder and spun her around as she looked at Roman shocked at beaining manhandled. As Roman got up in her face "These kids I ran into were cream of the crop not failed Huntsman turned police either. And they had backup. It's kinda a wonder I got out alive at all." Roman said

"A few kids and a professional? Are you sure we can trust him?" Another voice asked again disguised but sounding more feminine somehow.

Cinder looked at Roman who looked at Cinder "the girl from before was there too." Roman said

Cinder snarled and threw off Romans arm.

"Mercury, Emerald prepare the transport I wish to talk to Roman alone."

"Does that mean I can take off this stupid Voice changer now?"

Cinder said nothing but glaired

The two looked at each other and left

Cinder turned to Roman

"Tell me exactly what happened." Cinder said

"It was a shitshow from the start…and that was before the Blackswordsman appeared." Roman said as he lit a cigar to calm his nerves before diving in to retell the tale.

At Beacon ( present day)

When Ruby got back to the dorm everyone was asleep or at least getting in the process of falling asleep, so Ruby quietly climbed up to her bed but still seeing as she was too horny to sleep she started sexting Guts at night.

Little_red: Hey.

Guts responded

Black_Beast: Yes Ruby?

Little_red: sorry if your trying to sleep I'm just quiet horny and I'm not sure I can make it for the night.

Team RWBY and JNPR sat in the cafeteria eating and relaxing as they tried to unwind from the semester break

It was an exhausting week for both Team RWBY and JNPR. They had spent the entire Break non stop training. Not that they minded it. But really for now they just wanted to relax and have a day to themselves

Until there leader showed up

With a big white binder with…was that Red crayon?

Ruby, gave an enormous heave, slams a binder onto the table, catching everyone off guard. On the cover of the binder is written "Vytal Festival Activities, Property of Weiss Schnee". This has been hastily crossed out with a red Crayon, and with the same crayon, a new title, "Best Day Ever Activities", has been written underneath.

Ruby stood up and cleared her throat, She gestures to everyone at the table. "Sisters... friends... Weiss."

Weiss huffed "Hey!"

Ruby smiled and looked around "Four score and seven minutes ago, I had a dream."

Yang nodded to Blake "This ought to be good.

Ruby kept going unaffected by the peanut gallery "A dream that one day, the four of us will come together, as a team, and have the most fun anyone has ever had... ever!"

Weiss snapped connecting the Dots as to where the binder came from "Did you steal my binder?"

Ruby makes "peace" signs with both hands. And mutters "I am not a crook."

Blake sighed looking up from her meal "What are you talking about?"

Ruby points to Blake "I'm talking about kicking off the semester with a bang!"

Yang grins "I always kick my semesters off with a Yang! Eh? Guys? Am I right?"

No one laughed and Ruby had a tentative look questioning if it would be alright to slap Yang.

At full speed.

Fortunately an apple is tossed at Yang and hits her in the face. She glares at Nora.

Nora groaned not liking the pun

"Boooooooooooooooo!"

Ruby sighed trying to get back on track "Look guys, it's been a good two weeks and between more exchange students arriving and the tournament at the end of the year, our second semester is going to be great! But, classes start back up tomorrow! Which is why I've taken the time to schedule a series of wonderful events for us today."

Weiss sighed "I don't know whether to be proud or scared of what you have in store."

Yang, still glaring at Nora, picks up the apple and tosses it across the room. Unfortunately it missed Nora and hit another student as Nora was giggling. Yang looked shocked and tried to ignore her actions and focus on Ruby

Blake sighed "I don't know. I think I might sit this one out. Honestly for the two weeks we've just been constantly training. And while I don't regret it at all. I'm just ready to relax and unwind."

Weiss nods "I agree but Sit out or not, I think that however we spend this last day, we should do it as a team!"

Nora, shouting positively at something that Ruby tried desperately to ingnore

Weiss stood up "I for one think that... Weiss however was interrupted by a pie landing on her face.

Yang looked shocked as she thought

'Oh shit, it's the consequences of my actions staring me right at the face.'

Ruby crouched down trying to analyze where the wayward Food had come from.

Blake just looked across the Table.

Nora the one who threw the pie, sits down and points at Ren who has his head in his palm. Pyrrha's hand is over her mouth trying to hide her giggles and Jaune simply sits staring wide-eyed while covering his ear with his palm.

Outside the cafeteria, Sun Wukong and Neptune Vasilias are walking together as Sun relates the events which took place before the start of semester break

Neptune nodded, grinning at his best firend "Man, that's harsh."

Sun talked excitingly "I know, we were fighting side by side. She was super fast and I threw a banana at the guy, which sounds gross, but it was awesome."

Neptune nodded "Nice!"

Sun smiled "Right? And the best part is, she's a Faunus. But that's a secret, okay?"

Neptune nodded again "Got it."

Sun leans in close in order to stress the importance of this secret. "And not a, "I'm gonna go tell Scarlet the second Sun turns his back secret", I'm talking secret secret."

Neptune reeled back shocked Sun was in his face "Whoa, chill out, man, okay? I got it." Before whispering "I got it!"

Sun scoffs "You better." As they walked past the windows into the cafeteria they are unaware as food splatters into the panes as students run around. At one point, another Student is splattered into the window. "I just don't want to screw this up, you know? The people here are the coolest! No offense to you guys."

Neptune nods "None taken."

Sun smiled "They're just in here. I'm really excited for you to meet them. So be cool, okay? You're gonna be cool, right?"

Neptune sloughed almost offended before he posted with a poster smile "Dude."

Neptune's teeth gleam as he smiles. Despite the fact the sun is on the other side of him.

Sun nods "Good point."

Sun and Neptune enter the cafeteria where students are heard screaming. And running for there lives out the doors

A Beacon Student screams "Food fight!"

Sun and Neptune just stand there shocked, the latter of whom is looking quite worried.

Nora's laugh echoes across the cafeteria "Ahahahaha!"

Team JNPR are shown to be standing atop a tower of tables stacked in a ramshackle manner. As a table fort

Nora taunts there foe in a sing-song voice "I'm queen of the castle! I'm queen of the castle!"

Ruby Stomps her foot on a table which knocks up a plate as she catches a milk carton that was on said plate and pointing at Team JNPR. With her free hand "Justice will be swift! Justice will be painful!" Ruby crushes a carton of milk in her hand and discarded it "It will be delicious!"

Team RWBY jumped Raising their fists simultaneously. In a battle cheep "Yeah!"

Nora scoffs "Off with their heads!" She orders

Nora jumps down from the top of her tower, and the food fight begins. As Jaune and Pyrrha start chucking melons at there foes

Ruby analyzing the situation in a second doesn't hesitate to bark out orders "Yang! Turkey!"

Yang rushed forward and rolls over to the turkeys which were on the ground and sticks her fists inside them, proceeding to block and punch the melons as they speed toward her.

The fighting is evenly matched with each team member being faced with there equivalent opponent.

Ruby stayed in the back commanding her team.

Even then she knew her team was losing.

The throught didn't cross her mind at the time but Ruby had realized the fight had gone too far.

And then I got worse as Nora who was using a melon hammer at the time knocked Weiss back into a pillar. At force.

Ruby grit her teeth as she barely recognized it. No, she hardly saw it.

Ruby, knowing it must've been bad Rushed over to her injured teammate.

The impact knocked her out but fortunately Ruby caught her in her arms.

"Weiss, Weiss! Don't leave me! Nooo!"

Ruby screamed as the pillar Weiss hit collapsed around them. Scattering more food

The fighting resumes, as Yang charges forward to avenge her teammate. And then Yang went flying through the roof.

'Yeah this had gotten out of hand'

She had thought her scream would be a signal that it's time to stop.

But they kept going.

Ruby had to do something

To that end Ruby ended it as she charged forward with her fully powered semblance as JNPR slammed against a cracked wall painted with soda and food. Team JNPR slides off the wall, leaving only their outlines. As Ruby landed unharned

Sun smiled and looked to his teammate "I love these guys.

Unfortunately Neptune is drenched with soda and is not pleased. The doors behind them is kicked open open and Glynda enters the room Guts following next to her Glynda face shifts to growling as she accessed the damage. She proceeds to use telekinesis to re-organize the room.

However if Glynda was angry Guts was ready to Draw dragonslayer and go a few round.

He was Livid!

Glynda who had finished cleaning addressed the students "children, please." she adjusts her glasses. "Do not play with your food!"

Guts snapped a look over to her 'That's it THATS ALL SHE SAYS STUDENTS COULD HAVE BEEN INJURED OR KILLED AND SHE JUST SAYS THAT?!' Guts thought.

Nora burps aloud as both Team JNPR and Team RWBY try and fail to compose themselves. A screaming Yang then crashes from the ceiling into one of the tables. Glynda grumbles. Ozpin approaches and places a hand on her shoulder.

"Let it go." He said calmly

Glynda sighs and released the tense up pressure "They're supposed to be the defenders of the world."

Ozpin nods "And they will be, but right now they're still why not let them play the part? After all it's not a role they'll have forever."

"I have to agree with Glynda here Oz what they did was negligent. People could have gotten hurt. Ozpin your students were in danger." Guts growled.

Oz sighed he hated to admit it but Guts was right and they did need to learn "very well, I'll leave you to team RWBY and JNPR's punishment."

Guts nodded as he walked up and stood over the teens.

Ruby seeing Guts saunters up to him

"Hey did you like how the fight ended?" She asked cheerfully.

Guts glared at Ruby livid as half his face was hidden in shadow his eyes were jagged. making her gulp as she realized how angry he is at them.

"What you did was negligent, stupid and incredibly irresponsible, and you endangered countless lives. I am very very disappointed in your behavior." Guts said

Guts saw Ruby wince at every point he made and the last point made her wither

However Guts wasn't done as he looked over to Team JNPR.

"Both of you." He said looking to Ruby and Jaune.

"Sir I-." Pyrrha stood up to defend her boyfriend but Jaune cut her off

"No he's right. I should have done better it was my job to keep Nora under control." Jaune said

Guts nodded

"Now with that out of the way the real reason I was coming here to speak to you." Guts said

The two teams looked up

"General Ironwood has just entered Vale space. He will arrive in two hours. In that time you are to get showered and changed and be present in the headmaster's office to greet the general. And if I hear of any incident occurring before then there will be hell to pay, am I clear?" Guts said keeping his anger clear in his voice but not shouting but still firm.

Both teams nodded ridgedly "yes sir." They said

Guts nodded "very well your dismissed." He said as he turned around

He walked to Sun and Neptune and apologized while Team RWBY and JNPR took the walk of shame to there dorm to get cleaned.

In an old warehouse, the White Fang are moving crates as Emerald and Mercury enter.

Roman turned around and smiled "Oh, look! She sent the kids again! This is turning out just like the divorce!" Roman said as he approached the two from behind and wraps his arms around them in a group hug.

Emerald shivered in disgust and threw Roman off her "Spare us the thought of you procreating."

Emerald and Mercury pull away from Roman. As he walked in between them to get back to his mounted map.

"That was a joke." Roman produces a piece of paper.

"And this... just might tell me where you two have been all day."

Emerald looked down shocked "What!? Agh…"

Roman curtsied "I'm a professional, sweetheart. Pay attention, maybe you'll learn something." As he Holds up the piece of paper to look at it Roman narrowed his eyes "Why do you have this address?" He questioned

Emerald steped firward pointing aquisitory "Wouldn't you like to know?"

Roman steped in unafraid "Yeah, I would. Now where have you been all day?"

Mercury steped in with a smug smile "Cleaning up your problems. One of them, at least."

Roman growled knowing they went behind his back "I had that under control."

Mercury shrugged "Two packed bags and a ticket out of Vale said otherwise."

Roman raised his cane prepared for a backhand "Listen, you little punk. If it were up to me, then I would take you and your little street rat friend here and…"

A sudden voice echos across the Wearhouse "Do what, Roman?"

Cinder appears on a platform above them. She steps onto an automated lift, riding it down to their level.

Roman laughs nervously and lowers his cane "I'd, uh... not kill them?"

Emerald turns and looked excitedly "Cinder!"

Cinder strode forward "I thought I made it clear that you would eliminate the would-be runaway."

Roman sighed knowing he was caught "I was going to…"

Emerald steped in to throw Roman under the bus "He was going to escape to Vacuo! Mercury and I decided to take it upon ourselves to kill the rat."

Mercury liked to Emerald "I think he was some sort of cat, actually."

Emerald chuckled "What? Like a puma?"

Mercury smiling at there banter said "Yeah, there ya go."

Cinder interrupted there chat "Quiet. Did I not specifically instruct you two to keep your hands clean while in Vale?"

As Cinder speaks, Roman points a finger at the pair while laughing in agreement.

Emerald looked down "I just thought…"

Roman uses his fingers to mime having a slit throat.

Cinder narrowed her eyes " Don't think... obey."

Emerald nodded apologetically "Yes ma'am. It won't happen again."

Cinder turned back to Roman "And you. Why wasn't this job done sooner?" She asked

Roman, points to his right, then to his left, then behind him. "Uh..? Eh..? Eh..? EHHHHH! Sorry if I've been busy stealing every speck of Dust in the Kingdom!"

Mercury snarked back "You're an inspiration to every punk with a gun and a ski mask." Emerald laughs at the remark. Making him smike.

Roman scoffed "Look around, kid. I've got this town running scared! Police camping out at every corner, Dust prices through the roof, and we're sitting pretty on an old warehouse with more Dust crystals, vials, and rounds than we know what to do with! Speaking of which, if you guys wouldn't mind filling me in on your grand master plan, it might actually make my next string of robberies go a little smoother!" He emphasizes the last word by clenching his fist.

Cinder approaches Roman. "Oh, Roman. Have a little faith." As She places her hand on his face. " You'll know what you need when you need to know it." Roman seems entranced, but then looks away with a grunt. " Besides, we're done with Dust." (She begins to walk away. Mercury and emerald following.

Roman was confused "O-okay, then what now?"

Cinder smiled "We're moving. Have the White Fang clear out this building. I'll send you details and coordinates tonight."

Roman raised an eyebrow "Coordinates?"

"We're proceeding to phase 2." Cinder said

Roman thought for a second before saying

"Wait…what about The Blackswordsmen?"

Mercury scoffed slouching "this fairy tale again?"

Roman clinched his fist for not being taken seriously

"He's real!" He said

Mercury sighed "no he's not! He's a kids tale to get toddlers to behave!"

"Listen punk there's power in that name. And I've seen his face he's real." Roman said

"Enough. Mercury Emerald get the Transport ready. I'd like to speak to Roman alone.

After a moment Cinder sighs "ive confirmed with my contact who takes history Very seriously they have never heard of the Blackswordsmen. and they suspect if he did live he died long ago." Cinder said

Roman growled "he is real I've met him."

"forget about him Roman he is of no consequence to our plan." Cinder said as she walked away.

"But what about that giant?" Roman asked

"Giant?" Cinder asked turning around this was the first she heard of a giant.

"Roman…what happened the night at the Dock?" She hissed.

Later that day. Guts entered his dorm sighing as he tossed his scroll on the bed and sat at his desk. Now he had to think about what he was going to do to punish team RWBY.

While both teams were responsible for endangering lives. Jaune owned up to his responsibility.

And Ruby he had to admit ended the fight quickly before anyone could actually be hurt bad.

It just sucked that it took Weiss being knocked out cold for Ruby to realized that.

He had to get Ruby to learn to think ahead.

But he didn't know how.

He can't punish them by training they have started to enjoy it to much now.

And he didn't want to endanger them either.

There's a knock on Guts door he answers it

"Hello- Ruby?!" Guts asked

Outside is Ruby looking down she looked like she'd been crying.

"C-can I come in?" She asked

"Guts opens the door wider and Ruby steps in

"Is…is there a reason you were ingnoring me?" She asked

Guts looked confused "what are you talking about?" He asked

"I've been texting you." Ruby said sniffling.

Guts shook his head as he padded his pockets and found them empty

He looked back and found his scroll on the bed.

"Oh sorry about that. I didn't hear it go off." He said as he checked the messages

Hey love…I'm sorry about what happened can you forgive me?

Love can you txt me back so I know your not angry at me?

Guts please.

Guts sighed as he closed his scroll he was so focused on how to punishment RWBY for there negligence he hadn't noticed the texts. Also the Bed muffled the noise so it was near impossible to hear.

"Ruby I'm sorry it want my intention to leave you unread." Guts said

Ruby looked up hopeful

"So…your not angry at me?" She asked

Guts shook his head "no, disappointment yes, but not angry. You understand what you did was dangerous. And you could have killed several people."

Ruby nodded as she stepped forward tentatively

Guts grabbed her and embraced her into a hug as they fell on the bed.

Ruby found her face into Guts neck and started to cry.

Guts just sat there and waited for Ruby to let it out.

Finally she stopped and got up to gather her team and head up to the headmaster's office.

when she left Guts got a text from Ozpin

"Send a message to teams RWBY and JNPR Ironwood is here." -Oz

Guts did just that sending a group chat to team RWBY and JNPR to meet at Ozpin office. Before sending a Text to Ozpin they are on their way.

Guts headed over to Ozpin office. And met with team RWBY and JNPR together outside they were chatting

They had ditched there dirty school uniforms for there combat gear.

Guts walked up and noticed Glynda Goodwitch heading to ozpins office.

"Shall we go in?" Ruby asked her sister

"No at least not you two." Glynda said pointing to RWBY and JNPR. "I'll get you when you should come in Wait in this room until I get you." Glynda said

"Wait but what about Guts?" Yang asked

"With the exact order of the situation Guts was fast tracked to be an order member. Without Ironwood knowing. We should allow James to get use to that shock first before revealing your insight as well." Glynda said

"Sounds fair enough." Jaune said even if the others didn't agree with it but they accepted it. And we're lead to another part of the room.

Guts and Glynda walked in with With Glynda standing on Ozpin left side and Guts standing on the other. As all three of them watched out of the massive window.

As Guts looked at the massive fleet of sky ships.

"Ironwood certainly brings his work wherever he travels." Glynda scoffed

"Well running an academy and a military makes him a busy man, but yes those are a bit of an eyesore." Ozpin said

"I thought dust didn't work the farther you got away from the planet?" Guts said to Ozpin

"True but. With Atlas's advancement in dust technology as well as fuel efficiency that counteracts that limit of dust. The further your away from the planet…" Ozpin said

"Hm it makes me wonder why Vale doesn't have an Air Force heck even Griffith did with he founded his own kingdom." Guts said

"I assume it was made of Apostle's." Glynda asked

"Of course. I highly doubt my humanity would have gotten off the ground any time soon. We were still using horse drawn carriages, not cars." Guts said

There was a beep on the deck as a alert of Ironwood was asking to enter.

"That's Ironwood get ready." Ozpin said as he turned to face the Elevator

"Come in." Ozpin said and sure enough General James Ironwood stepped forward.

"Ozpin!" He greeted cheerful

"General." Ozpin said as he walked to the other side of his desk.

"Please drop the formalities it's been to long… and Glynda it has certainly been to long since we last met." James said smiling at her

"Oh James… I'll be outside." She said dismissively as she walked out.

"Well she hasn't changed a bit…-who are you?" James asked as he noticed Guts being paranoid he started to draw his gun from inside of his jacket

"Someone who's gonna cut your other arm off if you finish drawing that pistol." Guts said

That alone made Ironwood freeze. He hid his metal hand quite well. Not even all his staff knew about it yet this guy who he never met knew his secret.

"How did you-?"

"An amputee can tell another apart as clear as day." Guts said mysteriously. As he turned around

This confused General Ironwood even more finally turning to Ozpin to ask only to be presented with a cup of coffee he reluctantly let go of his revolver and grabbed the cup handle.

"So who is he Ozpin?" Ironwood said

"Guts is… Qrow's endorsement." Ozpin said siting down

"A child?" Ironwood grumbled.

"I'm capable of handling myself thank you." Guts said

"How?" Ironwood said

"It's too complicated to explain right now. For now let's go with Guts is a trusted ally of myself, Qrow and Glynda and we have fast tracked him to becoming a member of the Order." Ozpin said

"Isn't that a bit much Ozpin?" Ironwood said as he reached into his jacket and pulled out his flask.

"Seeing as the enemy might have gotten a power boost I'd say it's not exactly enough." Guts said

"Yet another reason why we asked you to be here physically James." Ozpin said nodding

"Well you asked me nicely how could I say no? Besides you know how much I love Vale this time of year." Ironwood said as he poured a bit of alcohol into his coffee.

"True but you have to admit the situation is somewhat concerning…" Ozpin said

"Oz you told me why I should bring my men and I listened." James said but Ozpin raised his hand to cut him off.

"It's not a concern about you but rather how the citizens will view it." Ozpin said

"But of what Qrow said is true…"

"If what Qrow said is true and or what Guts says is true then we have very little we can actually do besides hope." Ozpin said

"And what does Guts say that's so worrisome anyways?" James asked

"That She has aid from powers outside this world. And they make her powers over the Grimm look like child's play." Guts said

James looked uneasy and asked the question "What's your proof?"

"Did you see the footage of the fight at the dock's?" Guts said

James pointed to Guts now recognizing him

"Now I recognize you! You were the guy that went mad and fought that Giant! There wasn't anything of him on the news so I assumed it wasn't reported." James said

However Ozpin shook his head

"It was censored for damage control." Ozpin said

"Your sounding like an evil dictator Censoring the press?" James asked concerned at the drastic action Ozpin had taken.

"It's for the best. I will show you the unedited version caught by one of our drones to you and you will understand." Ozpin said as he showed the video through the hologram.

"By the time the video was Finished James needed a chair. Guts gave it to him.

"What the fuck was that?" James asked

"That was an Apostle, a previous human that went through a ritual to give up his or her humanity to become a beast for extra power. They were the Grimm of my world. And I hunted them single-handedly." Guts said

"But Qrow told me of the apostle's you fought before. A dog beast and a hybrid of Grimm. This one didn't look at all like a Grimm." James said

" that's due to me. The Grimm feed off emotions. And from my anger I opened a portal to the astral world without having the Giant having to be fused with Grimm. This made him as strong if not stronger than before when I fought him originally." Guts said

"And you believe that our enemy has that power along with everything else?" James asked

"Before we continue this we need to introduce a few others." Ozpin said

"Others?" James said

"While I was at the Docks I wasn't alone a full team of Huntresses were with me, they saw the magic with their own eyes them along with there sister team have been given the introduction of the brotherhood." Ozpin said

"Who?" James asked as the door opened again and in walked Teams RWBY and JNPR along side Glynda.

"Introducing teams RWBY and JNPR. And If you agree they will bulk up the order by quiet a large margin in more ways than one." Ozpin said

"Can you validate there combat experience?" James asked Guts.

"Not all of them but I can confirm one is very special." Guts said looking to Ruby.

"Give me a year and she will be Along side me in terms of skill. Maybe even beyond." Guts said

Ruby blushed

"Oh stop, you're too nice." She said

However Guts turned to her Seriously "you literally saved the school from one of my rampages. Going full out. And you beat me soundly." Guts said as he addressed the brotherhood.

"All I need is a longer break and I plan to take Ms Rose out with me to go Apostle hunting." Guts said

The others were shocked

"That's a bit extreme." Ozpin said

"Can she handle it?" Glynda asked

"Apostle…hunting?" James questioned confused

The most shocked was team RWBY and JNPR.

Yang, Blake and Weiss were happy if secretly jealous that Ruby would be going alone with Guts.

JNPR was just happy they knew it was a testament to Ruby's skill that Guts said that.

Ruby herself was trying to process everything.

She had once told pushed Guts to tell her a story about him fighting an Apostle.

He told her about the Snake Barron. It was enough to drive her into near nightmare's

And Guts still thought she was ready.

Her blush from earlier has completely vanished as she realized his words weren't trying to butter her up

No he was convinced she could do it.

That she could stand Side by Side with him.

and possibly end Griffith.

…and she wanted to prove him right.

Ruby's Resolved confirmed her blush faded and now set with determined resolve. She'd stand by Guts to hell or high water.

Apparently the other teachers understood that too as there Arguments died away soon after.

How James spoke up

"What about the others?"

"They would have a hard time with an Actual apostle. But I'd say that they could deal with the Grimm counterpart and slowly overtime they will join me and Ms Rose." Guts nodded

Ironwood nodded accepting the words of Guts.

"Very well I-." James stopped as he met eyes with Weiss "Ms. Schnee a pleasure."

Weiss bowed.

"Ms Nikos, another person who I can say definitely fills the roll." James said

Pyrrha bowed in honor.

"And finally the woman of the hour, apparently Ms Rose. You have…"

"Silver Eyes, I know…" Ruby nodded and her eyes glowed showing she started already to unlock her powers.

James smiled impressed.

"From what I heard your mother only got a start on her powers when she was in her third year, you do her proud girl." James said

James turned back to Ozpin.

"They have my vote." He said nodding

"Excellent! Now we can start the meeting." Ozpin said

"RWBY, JNPR." Guts waved them to him

They stood besides Guts with Ruby leaning on his shoulder.

"So what's the plan going forward?" James asked

"The plan going forward is to lay low." Guts said

James sighed

"Sorry I guess I did kinda mess up with bringing my army with me." James apologied

"Not to worry we have that already covered. As we figured that you will play the best part as joint forces with Vale as security for the festival."

"Joint?" James said

"Officially only so we members of the brotherhood can be on standby." Guts said

James was confused and turned to Ozpin. "What happened?" He asked

Ozpin sighed and pushed a button putting the room into lockdown shutting off all cameras and voice recorders in the room.

"The Vytal festival has been compromised." Ozpin said

"What?" James asked

With the knowledge that Torchwick has of my world and history leads me to believe they have access to apostle's as well Share a similar goal although from what I've heard She and them don't have anything in common as ideas but things can change. Desperation makes people do stupid stuff." Guts said

"I'm sorry who?" Yang asked

Guts and Ruby looked to Ozpin and nodded

"The tale of the girl in the tower Yang, the real tale… is Ozpins accounts of being cursed." Guts said

"Holy shit!" Weiss said

"That's…messed up…" Pyrrha hollow

"Talk about marriage counseling." Nora quipped

Ozpin smiled

"Unfortunately that didn't exist when we remet." Ozpin said

"What is keeping her here? If it's your cursed tale. And she did…that…how is she still alive?" Yang asked

"I assume it's because of the Grimm although I really hate to believe that." Ozpin said

"The silver eyes warriors." Ruby realized

Ozpin nodded "there's a reason why they were hunted to near extinction, Ms Rose. When I found your mother I tried to hide her to the best of my abilities…I'm sorry that I failed in that regard." Ozpin said

There was a moment of silence for the fallen warrior before Ironwood got back on topic.

"How do you know that torchwick is the inline with them?" James asked

"That is in thanks to Ms Rose, during her encounter with Roman torchwick before she was selected to come here. I saved her and Roman had to be rescued by someone who used magic. Even if I didn't recognize it at the Time." Glynda said

Guts shook his head "you have nothing to blame Glynda they hid it well."

"So are we to consider that this is the same person who attacked fall?" James asked

"It is believed, as they focused entirely on fire magic." Ozpin said

"Falls specialty…" James muttered nodding

"And with the recent string of robberies. Some even in broad daylight. We jumped to the conclusion that they are planning to move sometime soon. and seeing as another major event is happening." Weiss said

James nodded "yes it is entirely possible they plan to attack the Vytal festival. Very well I will plan for this contingency. However, I don't have the exact manpower for it right now. I have a few new shipment's that will help boost overall power." James said

"Overall power?" Guts asked

"For years Atlas has been experimenting with powered armor skeletons. I plan to show them off as a demonstration for the Vytal festival to placate any fears and strengthen our hold. Unfortunately they were not ready to transport by the time we shipped off. The rest of the fleet including my Flagship the ATT fist will arrive in a few days with a few months. I have a few combat prototypes but not armored one." James said

"Hmm." Guts thought hand on his chin

"What is it?" Blake asked

"How do you feel about laying a trap General?" Guts asked

"What do you mean?" James asked

"A way to force the enemy's hand as well as to find out there strength and strategy." Guts said

Glynda and Ozpin looked at each other uneasy. As did the other two teams but the General turned interested

"I'm listening." He said

"We know that, Roman torchwick is stealing military grade hardware. Dust to provide an army, possibly the White fang, possibly another criminal syndicate or even both." Guts started

"And you just brought suits of armor capable of breaching Beacon and Vale wrapped in a tight bow." Ruby said understanding where Guts was going.

"Shit I didn't think of that." James hissed.

"But we can use this." Guts said

"How?" James asked looking up at him.

"Why We let them be stolen." Guts said

"I'm sorry what?!" James asked thinking he was insane

"Allowing the enemy to steal the weapons to strengthen there army and get them closer to there goal of destroying Beacon! how do you take that as a good idea?!" Weiss said

Jaune jumped in his head clicking

"Because then they would have to hide them,"

"Most likely where they would be easily able to moblize for the attack at sudden notice." Ren said

"And if we track them…" Guts added.

"We can figure out where there base of operations is and seize it stopping the attack. And saving Vale." James said resolute in the plan once again

However Guts threw another curveball.

"Close but no." Guts said

"What do you mean?" Blake asked

"Your all thinking of the role of peacekeepers. Going from one crisis to the next to stop it. When your really inside a war of attrition." Guts said

"Shit." James hissed his head clicking with the tactics while most of the others were lost.

"Stop one plot, another will begin." Ren summarized.

Guts nodded "Most likely out of the pieces of the previous plan."

"So then what's the plan actually?" Ozpin asked Guts. He hadn't fought in wars for a long time. But Guts was a fresh set of eyes.

"First we need to remember 1: the headquarters of our enemy is. not. here. Salem is not leading this attack." Guts said

Ozpin sighed "So this is one of her lackies." Ozpin nodded understanding.

"Probably there overall plan is to just consolidate power." Guts said

"So you're thinking the attack of Vale all the time is a cover for the assailants' attack on Fall?" Glynda asked

"It is reasonable. After all. From what you've said the relics can only be opened by a maiden, I don't know if it works by half's but most likely the enemy doesn't want to risk it." Guts said

"So this isn't about destroying the enemy army." James said

"But preventing a theft at Beacon." Glynda said

Guts nodded.

"There is very few people I trust with the information discussed in this room. But it's clear that fall will either need to be moved or to be guarded at all times." James said

"Well with you overlooking the Vytal festival you have that ability." Ozpin said

"True and I will work deploy them but first tell me more about this exact plan." James said to Guts.

"Well basically we set a lure to have the white fang steal the prototype's first by announcing them. Then leaving them "unguarded" once the theft has taken place. Open an investigation. And Me and Team Rwby will search for the theif around town." Guts explained.

"It's pretty reasonable that the White fang will be the ones to steal it and I'm sure I can find a few hideouts and rallies. And with any luck they will speak of where they are hiding the actual equipment. For us to know later." Blake said

"Plus with this we can have several other people we can chat up with and find out exactly how extensive. There network it." Yang said

"Very well." James said

"What about us?" Jaune asked

"Unfortunately there isn't much for you to do? However with the fact we need people to stand guard for Fall's protection." Guts said

Jaune nodded "it's not thrilling but it's nessessary we will do it." He said

"So when we find the location of where they are staging the attack, what then?" James ask.

"We force their hand. Either have them attack early. Or if we're lucky we can stop them from attacking altogether. Even if we fail the attack won't be as devastating as the full attack saving countless lives and will throw the enemy for a loop." Guts said.

"Another reason you want us on standby."Jaune said

Guts nodded. "Just in case we fail I want you nearby to help stem the tide."

The team nodded to each other.

"Well do it." Pyrrha said

"Excellent. Worry not however you will be compensated for this even if you don't see action." James said

Guts nodded and turned to Ozpin "so speaking of which where is Qrow?"

Ruby and Yang paused as they waited to hear news of there uncle.

Ozpin sighed "I'm afraid I don't know. He is supposed to check in. It's either that he is MIA, compromised or brothers forbid dead." Ozpin said

Ruby gasped hand flying to her mouth.

Guts clenched his fists as James, Ozpin and Glynda looked wearily at their actions.

"Damn it old man you were supposed to stay alive for our rematch!" Guts huffed

"What was Qrow even doing?" Blake asked

"It's a personal messager as well as a scout. I had him sent to Vacuole." Ozpin said

"Can we not contact the headmaster and ask if he's been spotted?" Weiss asked

"We have to be careful. Now with the knowledge of the Vytal festival compromised we need to be extra careful about the access of information." Ozpin said

"The CCTV could be a target." Ren said

"I'll have my men posted around there for security. Calling it to "maintain the broadcasting signal for the festival." James said

"Double it then James." Ozpin said

"Then double that again. I have no doubt that your hiding Fall in this tower somewhere." Guts said

Everyone looked at Guts. Then to Ozpin.

"Is this true?" Yang asked

"Of course. I'd want to have her as close as possible at all times. I agree with Guts, we need to have as many guards here without it being suspicious." Ozpin said

"We can manufacture a "break in" to give you the reasoning if that is what you seek." Jaune said

"We very well might go that root. If that is needed I'll inform you of when the guards are the weakest and when." James said

"I'd also suggest that you repeatedly scrub the system for bugs. Every week two at the latest." Guts said.

"Makes sense. We will do just that." James said

"Then I'd say we have a reasonable plan." Glynda said

"More than reasonable… we might be ahead." Ozpin said

Guts, RWBY, And JNPR left the meeting leaving Ironwood, Glynda, and Ozpin alone.

"I don't like it." James said

"Your always the most tense around action especially before the actual fight."

"It's just. Oz their children." James said

"True most of them are. However even if they are children they are the best hope we have." Ozpin said

James sighed and turned away. "And you call me a dictator Oz, using children, suppressing the press, at least when I do I give reasons to the public as to why."

James left. Leaving Ozpin and Glynda alone

Ozpin spun around to look out the window.

"I'll get you some more coffee." Glynda said as she headed to the Door

"Is he right?" Ozpin asked

"Huh?" Glynda asked as Ozpin kept his back to her.

"Am I just a massive hypocrite?…Calling James out when I'm just as bad?" Ozpin asked his expression unreadable.

"I'm not sure Oz. I'll admit you've made some…questionable choices. Specifically with Ms Rose, and Guts. However, your judgements on them have turned out for the better. So I cannot say. But if I ever find something that I think your doing wrong, I'll tell you. I always have." Glynda said

Ozpin turned around relief flooding on his face. As he looked 10 times older than he physically was. His voice echoed his weary ness.

"Thank you old friend. And yes that coffee does sound nice." Ozpin said

Later Guts and the two teams were in the library playing Remnant, The board game.

Well 5 of them were. Team JNPR were "studying" when in reality they were planning there "break in."

"Yang Xiao Long prepare your kingdom for battle!" Ruby declared.

"Bring it on." Yang said

"I deploy the Atleasian Air fleet!" Ruby said

Guts shook his head "your loss." He said Ruby looked over and hissed

Before explaining the attack. And Yang pulls her trap card giant Nevermore.

Guts found himself hissing at the strategic incompetence. But he did say he'd sit this one out until someone quit.

He missed Yangs roll but from Ruby's reaction it was devastating to her forces.

From that Sun appeared. Asked where they had been and tried to talk to Blake to turned him down and left.

"Sorry guys I just have so much on my mind I'm going to take a nap." Blake said

"Hey can I play?" Jaune asked

"Sorry Jaune we already have 4 players Guts called it when someone left he'd take over." Ruby said

However Jaune insisted asking to perhaps look over with Weiss.

Guts however smiled "how about this Jaune. We can take turns swapping off." Guts said

"R-really?" Jaune asked

"Yea, I wanted to pick your strategic brain anyways and see how you tick." Guts said

"Bring it on." Jaune said

Seeing as it was Gut's turn he went he had his move already planned out by the time Ruby declared her attack. He had a strategy for if he took over any player. Even without the cards he could still win the game. He let Jaune handle the cards while he took his turn.

"I'll draw for field presence." Guts said he read it to himself 'reinforcement's: place 2 stands on adjacent spaces if there was a conflict there and you still control those sections. Can only be played after combat.'

Guts looked over doesn't help him now. He handed the card off to Jaune who accepted it and read it. Before moving the cards around in his hand.

Guts recalculated the attack in his head.

"Weiss I'm pushing my motorized force into Deadlands two zones. Responses?" Guts asked

Ruby, Yang and Weiss looked at each other confused two squares is nothing. With the amount of forces Guts/Blake built up he could easily have gone for a capital and kicked a player out of a game. Doubling his treasury. As well as his resources.

"Um you do know your supposed to be going for capitals right?" Yang asked

"I'm aware." Guts said

"Ok." Yang said

"No response's." Weiss said

Guts nodded "Ruby I'm pushing into the south of atlas by naval." Guts said

"No response." Ruby said she had more than enough air power to get resources if a naval blockade was completed around her.

"And Yang. I'm pushing into western Menagerie any response?" Guts asked

"Um yea actually. Grimm ambush. If you attack a zone that I don't have defenders in, if you control no huntsman in your army, you lose that square at the end of combat."

Guts nodded.

"Very well I have 2 huntsmen in my army so I keep that zone." Guts said

In response I play sudden ambush. If you only control ½ or less than half of a territory I can play sudden ambush for half cost and when I do I restart combat doubling my forces." Yang said

"Very well move to pitched battle?" Guts said

Yang nodded.

The pitched battle section is where Remnant the game shines and why Guts was so interested in playing. It was basically a tabletop wargame at this point. And with Guts coming from the 100 years War pitched battles like this were a breeze.

On the scroll it read "select players."

Blake and Yang were chosen as what the fieldwas and bonus cards were played Yang put in. Ambush and the simulation appeared

The field appeared on the scroll which showed a valley around a desert Guts forces in the low end of the valley.

Suddenly on the ridge ranged attackers were on the walls firing down on them.

1 of Guts' two huntsmen were killed but Guts pulled out his artillery and blew the cliff apart causing an avalanche killing all of Yangs ambushers but Sparing Gut's Force because he wasn't close enough to the cliff face." As the battle ended declaring Guts the winner as he took that zone.

"At the end of my turn I'm going to claim stake a claim on the zone I just won." Guts said

"For vale?" Yang asked

"No neutral." Guts said

Yang, Weiss, and Ruby were confused. Guts would have no need for netrual territory you don't get any troops from it. Heck it's more of a liability because if you don't keep track it can declare war on you and or join sides with another faction.

Jaune however saw exactly what Guts was doing and smiled. He placed the Cards down, he wouldn't need them unless a crisis appeared. Jaune smiled and nodded

"I end my turn." Guts said

The board went around, and while Guts and Jaune were doing very little gains The other three were going all at it trying there best to vanquish there opponents.

Jaune whispered to Guts while all three were in a pitched battle together. Yang and Weiss against Ruby. As Yang played a truce card. A card that can allow people to join as a collision.

Ruby asked for Guts' help but declined. Saying that If done right Ruby didn't need any help. To which Ruby responded she knew but was willing to cut a deal on peace terms if he accepted.

"Guts relented. But instead of sending forces. He only broke the blockade that was around Atlas. Which was acceptable to Ruby.

However Guts wasn't done and declared. Land Lease to Ruby. And "gifted" two ships in the blockade to her which she refit into merchant vessels and built a trading alliance with Guts.

While it used up one of there cards it was a useless card anyways. As there turn went again.

"Jaune your up." Guts said

"Ok. Should I declare it?" Jaune said

"Eh sure." Guts said not really caring.

"Three turn clock." Jaune said

The three were shocked

"Three turns?" Ruby asked

"Until the end?!" Weiss asked

"Bull!" Yang said

"Only one way to find out" Guts said

As Jaune went he fully annexed Menagerie. And declared it Neutral territory. Before he set up a trade port on the island.

Jaune then however went on the attack. Pushing 5 zones into Southern Anima. With very little push back from Yang.

He also pushed further into the dead lands and gotten to the edge of the desert of vacuole.

Then he played the card that definitely put everything into place as a three turn limit.

"Dust shortage," he said as he read the card which basically said that all players discard ¾th of their Dust stack.

However Guts had bought a shipping company in Vale as did Jaune in Menagerie meaning they could resupply faster. And with the small annexed island not apart of the war effort they produced Dust and other resources faster. Which means Guts and Jaune would have a bulk of dust while the other three were fighting for scraps.

"Shit we've been outplayed." Yang said

"Yep." Guts said

"You've planned this from the beginning." Weiss said

"Honestly no. It's just luck of the draw we got Dust shortage this turn. If not you'd still have lost, but it would have take three times as long." Jaune said

"Really?" Yang asked

"Yeah once we fully annexed Menagerie the game was set even without the trading. Or the blockade." Guts said

"Dang." Yang said as they headed up to the dorm.

Once they entered the dorm Blake tried to slink away.

However Weiss caught her and started to rant about Blake.

"Lately you've been quiet, antisocial and moody." Weiss said

"Um have you met Blake?" Yang asked

"Which is kinda your thing. However we've made a promise to each other to tell each other what is wrong? So what is wrong!" Weiss said

"I just… I can't just sit by and be useless." Blake said

"Your still thinking of the White fang?" Ruby asked

"The fang, Torchwick, the Festival! Everything!" Blake said

"Ozpin told us not worry. With Ironwood here and the security increase I'm sure they can handle it." Yang said

"Besides, all we're really doing is waiting for the all clear to start our investigation." Ruby said

"But they don't know the White fang like I do? How adaptive they are, can be! If they weren't trying to actively recruit new members of Vale's population they would never be found!" Blake said

"And that's why we have you Blake your inside eyes." Guts said

"Ok hold on. let me be the voice of reason here, all of us besides Guts here are students. We're not ready to handle the situation." Weiss said

"But isn't it why Guts is training us? Or that Ozpin trusts up?" Ruby asks

"We're not ready!" Weiss said

"No your not." Guts agreed with Weiss. With the obvious exception being unsaid.

However Blake was persistent.

"And we may never be ready! Our enemies aren't just going to sit around and wait for graduation day. They're out there, somewhere, planning their next move, and none of us know what it is, but it's coming! Whether we're ready or not!" Blake said

"Alright I know It's ahead of schedule. But inform Ozpin we're going to move a bit ahead of schedule. At least a scouting run to confirm the location of our intel." Ruby said to Guts who was on his scroll.

"No need I just got confirmation from Ozpin just now the trackers are set. The introduction is happening this weekend." Guts said

"Ok then. If we're ready to start this, say aye!" Ruby said

"Yes I love it when we get perfect timing." Yang fist pumped

"Well Ozpin did give us permission." Weiss said

"And he's counting on us." Guts said

Ruby turned away.

"None of you said Aye." She said

"Well then we're going to do this?" Blake said

"Hell yea." Yang said

"Let's rehash the plan over to prepare for every Contingency." Guts said

Ruby gasped, making everyone look over to her.

"I left my board game in the library!" She said

"We're doomed!" Weiss said

"I'll be back!" Ruby said as she ran out.

"I don't understand what you see in her." Yang said

Blake elbowed Yang for the rude comment.

Yang finally catching up to what she said.

Guts however wasn't paying attention and just said "talent and skill." As he watched her go and bump into Cinder.

As they parted ways in the hall Guts got an odd feeling.

"Excuse me for a sec." He said as he walked out leaving. Yang, Blake and Weiss confused as he walked the opposite way from where Ruby went.

Guts was in the courtyard waiting behind a pillar looking for his target.

Guts had to time this right. Too late it would look off. Too soon and he's just standing there waiting.

'Now!' Guts through as he strode forward with pride

And bumped and fell over on top of Cinder sending her to the ground.

Acting like a clutz he picked himself up, looked as meek as possible and brushed himself off.

"S-sorry I wasn't watching where I was going trying to get to class and all-!" Guts was cut off as he felt a Kama braced against his neck.

A tanned girl with green hair and matching clothes were looking at him with steel.

It would be so easy to snap her wrist. However he kept acting

"I'm-I m sorry wha-?"

"Stop." A cold steel voice said, making the girl turn and Guts look over to her as she strode forward. A seductive smile on her face.

"C-cinder."

"Shut up!" She said

"After all we don't want an incident on campus do we?" She said

"No Im sorry I overreacted." Emerald said dropping her kamas.

"Yep always the hothead." Mercury said

"Well- every team has to have one. I know my team…" Guts said as he looked away trying to act meek.

"Kukuku!" Cinder laughed, making everyone turn to her.

"You're not good at lying much are you?" She said

Guts stared at Cinder and Cinder stared at Guts.

Guts dropped the act and shrugged. "Eh never got the chance. I wanted to test it out how it worked." Guts said shrugging

"Ooh I see bad boy huh?" Cinder asked sexually as she strode forward and pawed his cheek

"You know it. I would guess you're the same too huh?" Guts asked

Cinder chuckled and lept into him. Her legs sticking up her crotch grinding against his. "Wow you're a natural you've done this before?" Cinder said

"I've been known to show a woman a good time…for the right price." Guts said

Ruby bowed and nodded her head sadly and walked away. It was missed by Guts but Ruby had noticed a slight glob of lipstick on his lips.

Guts ignored it and "looked" (*read hacked) into the Vytal festival registration papers. And pulled up the student papers there he found a scroll number. Student name and an ID photo. All the things he needed to uncover their infiltrators identity.

Guts typed in Cinders number. And pulled up her file. Cinder fall age 23?

"Leader of team CMEN. Ok ok but who is the other member of the team." Guts though out loud as he typed up all the stuff.

After a long 5 hour cross reference journey Guts found out Cinder, Mercury and Emerald were in fact here to destroy beacon.

"Shit." Guts said he looked out the window.

"It's too late to inform Oz now I'll have to tell him tomorrow I can use it as a cover for the mission." Guts said as he strode out of the library

And was met with a fist from not Yang but Ruby

"Ruby wha-?!" Guts looked up shocked as Ruby stood by a wall leaning on it for support

"You said you were going to be in the library and here you are five hours later just coming out!" Ruby said

Guts walked forward "Ruby what's wrong?" Guts asked

"You are your a fucking cheat!" Ruby snapped pushing him away or trying to

"Wha-?" Guts asked

"Don't Wha-me I bet that's why she left you she found out that your a fucking cheat and wanted you to see how it felt when you cuck someone it just sohappens that your a hypocrite and Casca relized it!" Ruby yelled

"BAM!" Guts fist slammed into the wall next to her face breaking the paint right down to the drywall.

Guts Glared at Ruby with extreme rage

Ruby eeped she realized how much she fucked up. She was just so angry at being cheated on.

Guts kept staring at Ruby as she stood frozen all this time a war raged in his head. Between two versions of himself.

"Kill her, she insulted her memory." Angry Guts yelled

"She's upset." Passive Guts said

"She knows your history! What happened in the eclipse it's no excuse RIP HER APART!"

"I still love her!" Guts said

"Exactly and she clearly doesn't love you back." Angry Guts said

"She doesn't know, we don't know what's got her so mad." Guts said

"We don't need to know she's a timebomb, deal with her." Angry Guts said

Guts and passive Guts looked at angry Guts and spoke at the same time

"I never doubted for an instant that you truly left us Beast." Guts said

"Hehehe found out did you…"

"I know for a fact no matter how angry I am I never NEVER insult my family." Guts said

"Very well…I'll accept this loss for now. But know you know I have returned." The beast of darkness said as he vanished

Back in reality Guts pulled his fist out of the wall.

"Ruby…I don't know what made you so angry but I promise it's not true." Guts said

This however just snapped Ruby even more.

"Not true?! NOT FUCKING TRUE?!" Ruby said as she slapped him

Guts touched his cheek and rubbed his hand looking it it

Lipstick. Red lipstick clear as day.

"Shit." Guts hissed.

"Oh now you see it, wanna start talking? Or do I need to pummel you more." Ruby growled

"Fucking, bitch she recognized my attempts." Guts said

"Oh your whore that you've been seeing what's her name-?!" Ruby said but was cut off by Guts by a hand on her mouth.

"Ruby. the people who you bumped into in the hall don't trust them." Guts said seriously.

Ruby was shocked. First he betrayed her trust, now he's telling her who she can and cannot hang out with.

"And why the fuck-?!" Ruby shouted ripping his hand away

"The festival.." Guts said

Ruby's rant died on her lips as it clicked. Guts as she knows and from what she's heard from his stories. Is a very on point guy, give him something to do he will do it or die in the attempt.

And he gave himself the role to protect the festival.

"You mean." Ruby said in awe

Guts nodded. "I've located the half maiden."

Ruby and Guts walked to the dorm talking on code and hushed whispers. To anyone else it seemed as if they were planning a secret date. But in reality they were discussing how gone to shit the festival was.

"Fuck were screwed!" Ruby said

"Yea most likely they have a very good basis and multiple ways to hunt us down if we go away." Guts said

"I'll tell my team about the change of plans and on the day we can go." Ruby said

Ruby opened the door. And before the blink of an Eye Yang flew out trying to clobber Guts reaching around Ruby. Because Unlike Ruby who was shown evidence in parts, Yang was actually there to witness the actual event through the window of their dorm.

"You goddamn cheat!" Yang started about to hit Guts

Only to be cut off by Ruby who shockingly grappled Yang and used her own momentum to slam her into the ground.

"You know nothing." Ruby said, glaring deep into her sister.

"Ruby. Clearly they witnessed the events but they don't know the context fill them in, and we will sort it out for the mission tomorrow." Guts said as he headed back to the room.

"And what makes you think that we will allow you to join." Weiss hissed

Ruby closed the door and looked at them. "because Guts shares a very important role in the new plan." Ruby said

Finally she finishes explaining the actual events about it

Yang clenched her fists together

"Damn it I let my anger get to me again." She hissed

"Your fine Yang, I did the same." Ruby said

"But it's worse than that. Guts is trying to help me. I feel like I'm getting better but it doesn't seem to work." Yang said

"We will deal with it later for right now we got to sleep for our mission tomorrow." Blake said as they turned out the lights
