After a defeated battle with the godhand instead of feasting on his corpse the apostle were too terrified of guts and send him to a new universe where he believes he is making a difference but in reality he isn't. Rwby: of Guts and Blood: Chapter 7: Volume 2: Dance of Death.

Hello and welcome to the next chapter and the start of Volume 2 enjoy.

"…you knew there would be international backlash with using Child soldiers synthetic ones even more so what I'm trying to understand is what possible reason do you have to go this route?" Ozpin asked

James sighed

"…because Penny Polendina…was dying…"

James sat down with a shaker breath.

"Listen no matter what Petro says about Penny. His life blood he didn't create her on his own, he didn't plan to make a synthetic daughter and feed it his aura to understand it. That was a cover story, because the real reason was far too outlandish." James said as he took a deep breath and took out his flask and threw it back making a grunt as he swallowed. Before continuing

"Penny Polendina is the Daughter of Petro Polendina… and Fria Ironwood… my Wife." Ironwood said.

"So…you're saying he had an Affair. With your wife?" Yang said stunned

"And instead of taking them both to court. You hid it? why?" Weiss asked, confused.

James sighed this time lightly "Several reasons. One it was a political marriage and we both agreed that it wasn't successful. So in the end we agreed to individually go separate ways even if we couldn't legally, Fria went to Petro while I always married to the job Stayed and grew in ranks. Which is thankful as we had some close calls but my authority was able to make sure it didn't see the light of day."

The other thing was that Petro Desperately wanted a child. However Atlas laws thanks to Jacque Schnee are still Archaic and don't allow for divorce as well as…others." James said

"Why?" Guts asked

"I don't know, probably because he's a traditionalist to the extreme, Although I think the actual reason is because if he allowed divorce His wife would have no reason to stick around and take the kids. And his role in the company leaving him with nothing. Which is more than he deserves… no offense Ms Schnee." James said to Weiss.

"None taken, you're not wrong! It's why I came here and not to Atlas to escape him." Weiss said trying very very hard to suppress some deep feelings inside her.

"Yes I'm sorry that it had to happen like that, but I understand and I'd rather have this, than you fearful of an abusive home which you would have to return to daily." James said

"Abusive?!" Glynda asked nearly flying off the rails

James held his hand up "not abusive. But there have been rumors spreading about the Schnee family. I won't touch on it any more." James said as he noticed Weiss had a hollow look in her eyes. And slowly she was reaching her arms to wrap around herself.

"Weiss?" Ruby asked, bringing an arm around her.

It was a telling sign that she flinched away. Guts grit his teeth knowing the signs All to well.

'But to what extent.' he wondered

"It…it wasn't that bad. But yea it wasn't great." She said but it was a shakey excuse at best. As her voice quivered just a single reminder away from a traumatic flashback/ regression.

Guts pushed Ruby off him and with a single look Ruby understood as she walked over to Weiss and gently grabbed her hand.

What she didn't expect was Weiss to throw herself at Ruby and cry her eyes out.

Ruby stood there stunned for a moment before slowly dragging her hand across Weisses back.

Ruby lead Weiss to a corner of the room where Glynda erected a barrier to cut the sound from the two. As the rest talked.

"Apart from Jacque's failure of parenting aside." James growled he knew it was bad but seeing Weisses reaction made him want to storm up to Jacques and punch him in the face.

He didn't care if he would lose 2/3rds his funding from the school.

No kid should have to go through trauma like that.

It's bad enough that Guts had to and he was in therapy now.

Weiss has had it all her life…and no treatment.

James forced himself to continue less he makes Weisses pain even worse.

"He didn't want to be separated from the company name. I've tried to appeal the law numerous times but every time somehow it fails. I'm hoping now with the 2/3rd majority I have on Atlas's council I can, but I've come with the caveat that his holdings in the company won't be at risk. Even though I've already promised him that before and he still shut the vote down." James said

"I see…countune as to the creation of Penny." Ozpin said

"Yes, sorry. So in secret they eloped. I've done my best to hide their engagement as much as possible. Within two years Penny was born." James said

And he closed his eyes. "However, Penny Polendina…was a stillborn." And it was there last chance too. As Fria went into menopause a week later."

Yang gasped

"Even if she wasn't my own I loved her as such. I was there the day of the birth. And despite being a stillborn she had the most vibrant Aura I've ever seen. so I refused to give up on her. We put her into suspended animation until we could figure a way to save her.

It was Petros' idea to put her into a mechanical body. It was a horrific experience. I wouldn't disagree that it was probably unethical. It felt unethical. We made it as easy as we could for her. To transfer over.

Unfortunately her body rejected the machine body. And she passed away." James said

Blake groaned

"So Penny?" Guts asked

James shook his head "No. Like I said before Penny's aura was so vibrant. And well I suppose you are all in the know anyways. Fria is the winter maiden, and a part of that magic infused itself to Penny's aura." James said

"But magic doesn't work like that?" Ozpin said arguing

"I can't tell you why Ozpin, I'm just telling you like I saw it. Because of that magic and its inability to fade. Her Aura persisted." James said

"So you bottled it…" Yang said

James nodded "until a time a vessel came to be that would accept the aura. Eventually Atlas became the number one world of prosthetics with the amount of rejections becoming slim to none. And I knew it was time for Penny to be born Again with the life she was destined to have what she should have had." James said

"Very well that's all and good. But why a soldier?" Blake asked

"In honesty we didn't. Many of the things her original body was for was to work around her fathers workshop. She didn't even have a skin layer. Could barely talk except a few people for safety reasons. And then well we heard her speak and we asked her what she wanted to be." James said

As it turns out…Penny remembered everything. The death. The procedure. Even our emotions we had. And while we were horrified to learn that she felt in hell to be trapped in the robot body. She was glad to be with us and to be happy with us as we made her happy. And her goal was to make sure no one else was as sad as we were that day." James said

"Yep…that's Penny." Ruby said her voice cracking as tears ran down her face. As she and Weiss exited the Barrier Ruby looked at Blake and Yang "after this we are having a mandatory team meeting."

Yang and Blake didn't argue just one look at Weiss told that she needed it and they nodded.

With the go ahead James continued the story.

"Naturally we immediately began to construct a new body for Penny. This one would give her less pain. And she would be able to feel, touch, taste, see, and learn," Ironwood said

"This is the suit Penny herself is in now. It's also the closest approximation to what her physical body would be if she was this age, so yes I broke a lot of laws and did all this stuff that I am willing to pay the consequences for. Penny Polendina is innocent in this and I will enforce this time and time again." James said

"And changing her into a huntsman was never your idea or something you pushed in any way shape or form?" Guts asked

"Never. I love her like a daughter." James said

"Ok…then the next question I have is. What would happen if she died?" Glynda asked

"Honestly I don't know we have a backup of all her functions and memories up in atlas again her idea not ours. And Penny herself is producing her own aura the machine helps but only to contain it otherwise she's just as human." James said

"So if she didn't have a body she would be a ghost basically." Ruby said

James nodded "basically."

"Ok, clearly I misinterpreted your actions." Ruby said

"We all did Ms Rose." Ozpin said

"Yes but that's not to say I wasn't in the wrong either. I hid her existence. If I had told the world about her and the idea that we could bring dead loved ones back…" James said

"No. You were lucky Penny had some magic in her which allowed that to happen not everyone does, it's best not to put hope into people then rip it away harshly. You did the right thing hiding It." Guts said

"Guts is right for now we need to make sure her real nature remains hidden." Ozpin said

"Team RWBY has already befriended Penny. And while I can't speak to the other members of my team I am willing to give my life for Penny." Ruby said

"We all are." Weiss said as Blake and Yang nodded.

James smiled "thank you." As he let a smile hit his face he sighed "no one else in this Room knows of Penny's true nature, A few soldiers who act as Penny's bodyguards know and report directly to me. Other than that not even her team knows of her secret." James says.

"Ok well first. I believe that at least someone from her team, perhaps all of them, should be notified in confidence." Guts said

"If Penny Is up for it." James said

"No one is taking away her will to choose." Yang said

James nodded

Next then I'd say that Penny herself should at least be taken into the brotherhood." Guts said

That caused unrest.

"What really?" Glynda asked

"But she's young, isn't see?" Yang asked

"Are you sure?" Blake said

James nodded "I actually was looking for her to be a candidate for the brotherhood." James said

Guts nodded

"Penny herself, while a machine and possible child, is very powerful. Along with the magic she has whether or not she has access to it aside may come to aid us on the solution to Amber's misfortune." Guts said

"That's right!" Yang said

Ozpin sighed but also nodded

"Right, so that's one member. Shall we vote on it now?" Ozpin asked

"I think the answer is obvious but sure… I vote yes." Yang said

The answer was universally Yes Penny would join the brotherhood.

"Very well with that going along, who is the other candidates you wanted?" Ozpin asked

"For now only 1 other team I have is in Atlas, but I was thinking of having Winter Schnee as my next candidate. As well as possibly someone to take my mantle should I pass." James said

"My sister?" Weiss asked looking up hopeful

James nodded "she's quite reliable Weiss much like you so I hear." James said

Glynda stepped forward

"James you're not thinking your gonna-" James shook his head

"Of course not but better to be prepared." He said

"I agree. However I'm not sure about her as I don't know her. I'll need to meet her first to get my vote." Guts said

"I understand. From what I hear she will be coming along the lines of the first round of the tournament." James said

Weiss gasped as Team RWBY looked over thinking she was going to break down again

However this time they saw tears of joy.

"Is there anything else you wanted to talk about before we go to Ozpin?" James asked

"Actually Yea…" Guts said as he stepped forward.

"As many of you have noticed. I'm getting angrier more often and tend to lash out although no one has been hurt yet. I believe the Beast of Darkness still lies dormant in myself."

"The beast?" James asked

"Oh shit." Yang said.

"Guts inner demons and inhibitions, Calcified and made manifest by the Berserker armor." Ruby said

Guts nodded "I believe it's in fact because of my semblance which is the Berserker Armor that is causing this." Guts said

"So you're back to square one?" Yang asked

"No, I don't think so. For one I'm still clear of mind when I don the armor. And For another it's slower too." Guts said

"Still it's something to be aware of." Glynda said

Agreed. Your semblance is a double edged sword just like mine." James said

"I don't think it can constitute a semblance. It's just you being stubborn." Glynda said

"Call it like you will but it's what I have." James said

Guts nodded "then I guess there is not much more to discuss." Guts said

As the group broke away to get other things done.

One of which was the mandatory Team meeting

Ruby walked in first and turned on the light as she Shut the window and closed all the parts of sound

As the Yang brought up the rear and Shut the door Ruby took off a heavy blanket and threw it at the base of the door to muffle any sound that might escape the crack

Ergo a complete soundproof room.

Ruby stood in the middle of the room by Weisses bed and held her arms out.

"Weiss, come here." She said

Weiss didn't need to be told twice as she charged forward and slammed into Ruby knocking them both onto the bed.

Weiss cuddled on Ruby looking like an injured child

It was almost as if she mentally regressed in an instant.

Ruby put a comfortable hand on Weiss's head.

"Are you ok if Yang and Blake join us for the cuddle's too?" Ruby asked

Weiss nodded before adding "Yangs warm, Blake fluffy."

Both Yang and Blake realized this was serious and joined instantly.

The bed groaned under the weight of all four of them but to that point they didn't care, their teammate was hurting the bed could be fixed later.

Each of them had an arm around Weiss as a group hug/mosh pit.

It took Ruby to feel Yangs touch to realize that Weiss wasn't just cold. But shivering physically shivering.

Fortunately due to there team training from Guts Yang too realized this and used her semblance to help warm the group up.

This only made Weiss coo and snuggle up to Yang more.

It was gut wrenching.

'Weiss never allowed herself to feel vulnerable before.' Ruby thought as she realized this was the first time she had seen Weiss cry.

Eventually after about an hour or two Weiss got her breathing under control. As she looked up her eyes were puffy.

"God I must look like an idiot." Weiss said trying to wipe her irritated eyes.

Yang opened her mouth to say something snappy but a glance at Ruby told her if she did there would be hell to pay so she didn't instead she was motherly

"Never Weiss. Your our teammate we care about you and you under no circumstances are an idiot got it?" Yang asked

"Oh shut up you brute bear!" Weiss sniffled as she threw her head into Yangs chest and huffed harder

Yang was shocked for a second not expecting Weiss to be suddenly so touchy feely but accepted it.

"So…do you want to tell us what's wrong?" Yang asked

That that two different reactions.

One the standard Weiss one with snark. "Of course you would ruin the moment."

And outrage

"YANG!" Both Ruby and Blake gasped at how insensitive Yang was

Realizing her mistake Yang bowed her head

"Sorry Weiss, I'm not trying to push you at all. Take your time you got all the cuddles you need." Yang said

"I think I'll just stay like this and tell my story." Weiss said

Yang nodded sighing motherly "that's fine." She said

Finally after a moment Weiss let out a sigh.

"Ok I'm ready." She said

As if instinctively the others hugged Weiss harder.

"When I was five my sister decided to go off to join the academy. It was then that my father disowned her calling her "a disgrace to the family legacy…" Weiss said

Everyone bowed Their heads

"From there I was named heiress of the Company… only for me it didn't seem like he enjoyed it or wanted me to be heir." Weiss said before she imitated her fathers angey voice

"Why can't you be like Winter more? Quit your crying and focus more? What would your sister say if she saw you now?!" Weiss said, getting more and more angry as the tone of her father rang in her head. Each voice felt like a punch in the gut. And she let out a wince and shiver.

This only made Team RWBY cling on more.

"I've strove myself to be the best because of him. For the next five years after Winter was disowned. My only escape was singing… and then father had to take that away too." Weiss said

"He forced me to go to concerts…get dressed up in some gaudy outfit and perform for hundreds of people. And every time I missed a note or was off key was another point where I was an embarrassment to him." Weiss said

"He never even treated me like a daughter just another fucking trophy he could show off at parties."

"By fifteen I had enough. I saw why winter had enough and tried to get away. At first I tried to run away. I hitched a ride to mantle and hid in the slums. Kept my head down…that's the first point in my entire life I felt human. Even more, it's where I felt that someone actually cared for me." Weiss said

"W-what happened?" Blake asked

"Father got Ironwood involved. He wasn't a general at the time. But he was Headmaster of Atlas. He and his elite team of Ace ops were sent out to find me. Including my sister. It was so embarrassing." Weiss said

"Wait that was-." Blake gasped

"Yea…The Mantle Massacre." Weiss said

"What?" Yang asked

"After hearing that heiress of SDC was in mantle the White fang branch there had the smart idea to kidnap her and hold her for ransom to better living conditions in the slums." Blake said

"The White fang never showed up. That was fathers idea of a coverup." Weiss muttered which made Blake growl.

"What happened?" Ruby asked

"The soldiers fired first." Blake grit out.

Weiss nodded "helpless civilians. Women breastfeeding and infant children. Even the ones who took me in. I watched helplessly as an unnamed Atlas soldier shot them in front of me." Weiss said

Ironwood personal carried me back to the ship and put me in while I heard him rant off at the troops for discharging there's weapons unprovoked. I later heard from Winter he dismissed everyone who had killed someone that day from the military. No question and paid for condolences to those who lost lives." Weiss said

Yang nodded

"On the ship over I begged him not to give me to my father. That anywhere was better than there. I even told him to take me to jail for terrorism." Weiss said weakly.

Ruby gasped as did Yang

"Weiss…that…even though in Atlas that carries a death sentence." Blake said

Weiss nodded "yes…my sister was just as distraught."

"Ironwood personal came over to me and told me the kindness words I've ever heard from that point on.

"If you ever need anything. If your father is doing anything to you call me anytime and I'll be there."

"I told him those were the kindest words I've ever heard. And he nodded before he gave him his scroll number. It wasn't until later I figured out he gave me his priority one Scroll number."

Blake gasped

Weiss nodded

"There were several times I was tempted to use it but…I didn't want to be a burden…" Weiss said

Ruby sighed "oh Weiss."

Weiss sighed "I set it in my sights for me to take my leave. And get as far away from my father as possible." Weiss said

"How did you accomplish that?" Blake asked

"Well first I took up Fencing thanks to my butler Kline he was able to fit me with a wooden training sword. This time I was able to successfully hide it from my father. Until I was fully ready. Winter also helped as well teaching me forms and actions. I got better with my skills until I felt good enough to take the Beacon placement test." Weiss said then she sat up

"but then father found out. He was furious

"what do you mean you're going after the likes of your sister!? You don't need to follow the likes of her you should learn how to run the company!" He ranted at me as he got angrier he eventually came to a head and he slapped me." Weiss said

Ruby gasped Yang clenched her fist

"I still feel it to this day I was sent flying. And my scroll went skidding to his feet. Seeing as my father never gave me one he questioned my use and authority of having one thinking I stole it until he opened it and saw Ironwoods numbers in it.

My father again got the wrong idea but this time I My favor thinking I was trying to follow winter to impress Ironwood and congratulated me on getting him in my "network" Weiss said bitterly

I didn't argue at this point and he told me I would need to work a lot harder if I wanted to impress the General. It was then that he said before I took any huntsman exam. I had to pass his exam. He also told me that if I happened to die there then there would be no need for me to go to the school." Weiss said

Ruby growled

Guts however punched the wall.

"I passed but barely" it was the toughest fight I've been in. And finally I was able to leave. And now I'm here."

Weiss said

Everyone was quiet at the end of her story.

"Weiss…" Blake said

Ruby hugged Weiss.

"Listen Weiss we're here for you always…as I said before and as Ironwood gave you. Our numbers are also in your scroll now. If you need us at all please give us a call." Ruby said

Weiss nodded as Ruby pulled away "listen Weiss I'm only going to say this once. You are not a burden. Never have been never will be." She said

Weiss looked shocked at Ruby and nodded as she fell into a hug. The two girls stayed like that for a while.

The next day team RWBY was planning to take over the dance for team CFVY as their mission was running late. Which unfortunately meant that Ruby had to buy a dress for the dance.

"Ugh do I really have to?" Ruby asked as Ruby and Yang walked down the street with Weiss.

"Well you don't need to but I think you would enjoy it. After all you need to dress to impress right? Especially your boy toy." Yang said with raised eyebrows

"Cut it out shouldn't you be horrified I have a date and threaten his life or something?" Ruby asked

"Normally. But I know you're in good hands. Besides I know if I did I'd be snapped in half." Yang said with a shrug not that caught up on it before she turned around

"However if I find out you snuck back into the dorm for any reason your dead. Especially if it's because you were thinking below the belt." Yang said

"YANG!" Ruby screamed blushing a bright red

"Kidding Rubes!" Yang laughed as she slapped her on the back. "Just be safe and if you need to lock and door. You know the gag is in the bottom drawer." Yang said

"YANG!" Ruby screamed louder

"Yang can you please not have my partner blow my ears out before the dance? I at least want to hear my date to say he loves me before I freeze his balls off." Weiss said

Stunned silence…

"Wow Um that's dark." Yang said teasing mood vanished in an instant.

"Speaking of do you know what Guts is going with?" Weiss asked

"Um no. We decided to surprise each other with how we look." Ruby said softly not wanting to feel like an idiot for the response.

"Ooh like a wedding!" Yang clapped

"Shut up!" Ruby said trying to hide her blush

Weiss sighed "despite how romantic it is it does make it hard to figure out something for you that will match with him." Weiss said

"Well we will figure it out here we are girls. Oh look Guts is over there looking for his own!" Yang said before covering Ruby's eyes

"Aw come on Yang I've seen nakedness before!" Ruby moaned

"First eww. Second Guts is picking clothes I'm just following your instructions, no looking until the dance." Yang said

Ruby sighed "ok." Good now turn around. Weiss you handle Ruby's dress I'm going to talk to Guts." Yang said

"YANG DONT FLIRT WITH MY BOYFRIEND!" Ruby shouted

Yang blushed "oh fuck you Ruby you know it's not like that!"

Ruby smiled mischievously "I know that was just payback from before-GUTS DON'T YOU DARE FLASH MY SISTER PUT YOUR PANTS BACK ON!" Ruby snapped again

Yang spun around to look at that hot ass only to find Guts wasn't there and was in the changing rooms

"Damn it!" Yang hissed

"Hehehe yes twice in a row!" Ruby said

"Your evil." Yang said

"Got it from youuu." Ruby said

Yang rolled her eyes and walked to the changing room

Yang knocked on the door "what is it Yang?" Guts said on the other side.

"Nothing I just can't say hi?" Yang asked

"Seeing as your hi's are usually Flirting or a way for you drop a boys guard down so you can punch them i'm not falling for it." Guts said

"Even if it was question 1?" Yang asked leaning on the side of the door trying to speak as seductively as possible while she herself mouthed the words "ew ew."

Guts open the door a crack to just reveal his eye glaring at Yang.

"…no go away Yang." Guts said as he shut the door.

Yang smiled Guts passed the test. Although really that's not that hard to see. Yang relaxed her job as an older sister done now she can get to the fun part playing dress up.

"Yea no." Yang said

"Your'll find I'm not in the mood for a temptress." Guts said

"Oh gross!" Yang gagged Guts laughed

"Fuck you, first Ruby, then you? What's next Blake making puns? But seriously I'm here to help with Ruby for the dance." Yang said

"But I was told that we are leaving what we look like for the dance." Guts said

"Oh you are. I'm not telling you what she looks like I'm just gonna edge you along so you can at least accent her and show off her beauty." Yang said

"Ummmm sure?" Guts said

"Great now are you dressed yet so I can come in?" Yang asked

Guts opened the door

Yang crunched her face up as Guts had a simple business suit with white shirt however the blazer was a blue as Neptune's hair

"Ugh no! Way too bright and not you at all." Yang said

"Well I didn't want to wear jet black I thought it would look too…what's the phrase?" Guts asked

"Emo, Edgelord?" Yang listed on her hand

"Edge yea." Guts said

Yang scoffed "it's fine knowing what Ruby will have it will be fine." She said

"She's wearing bright red isn't see." Guts said (…)

"I can neither confirm nor deny that because I haven't seen it but if I know my sister the answer is yes." Yang said

"Alright get me a black Suit. They are two racks on the left outside the door. I found a good one with red accents on a jacket." Guts said

Yang nodded and left coming back with the suit.

"I'm surprised you know fashion at all with you being a mercenary after all." Yang said as she sat outside Guts Changing room.

"As the Band of the Hawk grew more and more prestigious as the war started to come to an end. We were invited to more and more balls because of our del-facto royalty." Guts said

"You must've hated it knowing you." Yang said

"Quiet the contrary actually. It's actually the few times I saw Casca actually smile…" Guts said clearly falling into a daydream

Yang coughed both because of awkwardness as well as the subject of Guts "other" love.

"Sorry sorry but yea needless to say I needed to dress up for them and Griffith wanted us to be there at least the command staff of the Band. And I learned the hard way about learning style and fashion after my first." Guts said

"Laughed out of the ballroom?" Yang asked

"Close enough however thankfully I wasn't the only one. I think the only ones who weren't laughed out were Actually Griffith and Casca." Guts said

Yang was about to cough again but Guts opened the door as he fixed the cuffs on the jacket.

"Oh that's quiet good on you." Yang said

"Yea I think I'm gonna keep it." Guts said

"You should from what I hear multiple dances are planned even if a major event isn't in place. From what I hear it's once per year." Yang said

Guts nodded

"Now what tie?" Guts asked

"Bow." Yang said instantly.

"Really?" Guts asked

"Yep one bow ties are cool and two is standard ball wear." Yang said

Guts shrugged but agreed. As he tossed the other ties in the bin as he tied the tie.

Yang smiled.

"If you weren't dating my sister I'd rip the clothes right off you." Yang said

Guts rolled his eyes "Jeez the kids get hornier sooner and sooner now."

Yang laughed and pat Guts on the back

"Go get dressed again I'm going to get my own dress now." Yang said as she walked off.

Guts sighed and shut the door.

With Weiss and Ruby.

Ruby stood in the changing room as Weiss stood on the other side

"Weiss just give me the Red one!" Ruby said

"No, Damn it Ruby! you can't just always stick with one color palate." Weiss said

"But it's universal colors!" Ruby said

"No, I'm going to at least try one more before we do." Weiss said

"Ugh but we've went through all the colors!" Ruby sighed

"Not all of them." Weiss said holding out an orange dress for her to try.

Ruby sighed and put it on. And opened the door looking like she was at the end of her rope.

"I look like a bond fire." She said

Weiss rolled her eyes "fine but it's only because you chose to dye your hair." Weiss said

"My hair is it's natural color!" Ruby said

"Of course it's not it's way to bright!" Weiss argued

"Stand down private it's not them." A voice said

The Atlas soldier turned to see General ironwood, there

"General Ironwood?" Ruby asked

"Sir?" The soldier said

"I said stand down, it's not them they were the ones who helped stop the break in now stand down before you blacklist the only people who can actually help us find the real perpetrator!" James snapped

"Sir yes sir…umm sorry about that." He said as he walked away.

Ruby, Yang amd Guts walked towards James

"Kinda a bit in the open aren't you?" Guts asked

"We've found a probe in the system like you suggest, and her outlfit looked as if it was something that would be easily modified for a dance, so I took a hunch." James said

Guts nodded as he looked over to see Ozpin trying to fight with officers to get to James,

"James this is exactly what I mean by not trying to spread panic," he said Glynda beside him

"Oz trust me this is the right move," James said

"I agree, we've shown that we are in with them, we should pull out everything now." Guts said

"But if it's not." Ozpin said

"I at least want to get proof that they are here and still here." James said

"Enough James, as much as I hate it Ozpin is right, we need to play the long game, it maybe too late for our major strike but we can at least try." Guts said

James growled but with the loss of support from Guts he now had no choice,

"Very well I'll tell the troops to pull back." James said

"No." Guts said as he stopped everyone

"Issue an announcement in the ballroom the perpetrator isn't here and they are moving to a new section of the school and they hope to enjoy there night," Guts said

"But how will-?" James asked but Guts cut him off,

"You will be in innovated with students wanting to help, trust the students of beacon and atlas but not the other schools, and only those you can personally vouch for, but in the end it won't matter, the real perpetrator will not visit, probably not even a member of there team will physically talk but watch from the sidelines." Guts said

"So watch who doesn't talk." James said

Guts nodded.

Ozpin smiled, this is clearly a cunning ploy and if it's successful it might actually be able to put them ahead in the war,

"James I suggest you take this, many of Guts ploys have worked out so far." Ozpin said

James nodded. "I'll send out the orders now," he said as he walked away,

Guts looked around the room, and noticed a smirking Cinder sitting on the chair at them.

'No…' Guts thought as he started to walk forward catching the eye of Ozpin, Glynda, Ruby and Yang,

However as Guts got closer Ironwood made the call that people could get up to enjoy the rest of there night and someone happened to walk past Guts. And in that brief time Cinder vanished from her seat. Causing Guts to pause,

Cinder smiled even more as Guts turned away Cinder looked over to the left to see Emerald was sitting next to her with a Glare poised at her, saying to her mentally 'you owe me for being so reckless'

Cinder turned away unfazed by the gaze Emerald gave her, as she stood up,

"Let's go." Cinder said as they left the Ballroom.
