Another one charged and got in Ruby's face as she cycled a round and hooked her blade along the neck of the Grimm before leading it around and landed ontop of the head.
She fired, killing it executioner style and being launched into the air. Trying to get a quick view of the battlefield.

The attack landed. sending Ruby back. Angry at herself for getting hit than anything else.
'Fuck girl you got cocky.' Ruby hissed at herself as she now scanned the battlefield.
An entire army of Grimm was before her numbering around 50 plus it was enough to give major huntsman trouble,
But to Ruby it was nothing. The size only ment one thing.
The apostle was close.
Seeing that now was the time to pull out the gear Ruby swapped magazines and noticed with a quick glance she had only 2 shots left in that mag.
'I lost count.' Ruby thought as she dropped the mag on the ground and reached for specially prepared mags.
The mag had a dot in the middle with Arrows pointing to it. This was a set of mags with Specific gravity charge away from the bullet.
There was another one that had it Reversed which pulled her towards the bullet.
using Gravity dust this way was another way to help her mitigate the use of her semblance by accelerating herself to the bullet instead and carrying her weight she could conserve her energy when the big boss did show its face.
Ruby leveled the scythe behind her and Fired letting the Dust do it's work. As she rode along for the ride.
As she rode the monument she only had to angle her body left or right in sight notations to cut apart 5, 10 sometimes even 15 Grimm at a time.
Ruby landed feeling gravity take its tole on her more than the Shot that carried her as she herself landed she jumped and fired again in a second knowing that would boost her monumentum as she didn't have enough time to Decelerate.
Ruby moved as she rode the ground using her feet to only keep the momentum going and not drag herself on the ground to slow down as she jumped again
Unfortunately she realized she packed a bit too much dust into that charge as she moved a bit far too fast.
She changed her scythe into war scythe mode and angled herself at a drastic angle to slow down as she cut apart 3 Grimm in a blink and rode past them in a Speeders version of a drive by.
Again she was going to fast as she had her feet hit the ground and brace her legs with her aura to prevent them from crumbling under the G-forces she used her skills and passive amount of speed to clear the way infront of her.
She was fortunate that Grimm were so dumb to stand in basically a straight line as she cut through them without stopping.
As body parts and casings flew in the sky Ruby was in a dance of death without breaking a sweat.
Finally coming to a stop as she transferred the last of her energy into a spin as she cut apart 4 Grimm around her in a second she dropped her scythe down on the ground and fired blowing the Grimm pieces away from her as the possible threat they would fuse and attack her still Imminent.
She landed after a backflip and posed as the casings and body parts fell down showing the entire massacre lasted only around 3 seconds.
'Could be faster.' Ruby quipped to herself as she looked around the now clear clearing
She saw the near empty magazine she left behind and hiked back over to it.
She picked it up and examined it against the Gravity Mag she had in her weapon.
'2 vs 4 gravity.' Ruby through.
She didn't know how long it would take for the Apostle to show up so she went back to Standard rounds.
She spotted two Tiny Nevermore's flying and she picked them off to get rid of the Rounds so she didn't have to change during combat.
Ruby sighed she didn't want to be wasteful with the gravity Dust rounds she had to prepare those by hand but of course having to refeed them into another magazine would take too much time and possibly leave her open for another attack
Possibly the Apostle itself.
'Dittering about it won't help either.' Ruby said coming to an conclusion
'If I go into the middle of the clearing I'll have enough of a heads up that I can put my stuff away before it attacks.' Ruby thought as she made the trek into the general area of the clearing and took out two Mags one was the one with 4 gravity rounds in it
The other was the second one of the same Type of rounds only 2/3rd full
She didn't carry the magazine full for this exact issue as she slid the rounds into the mag and stored it away Ruby grabbed all the other stuff and slid a standard mag into Crescent Rose.
Ruby looked up the moon 3 hours from reaching the crescendo of the night still no apostle showing up
'I'll have to hunt it personally.' Ruby thought hating the idea but also knowing that they were on the island because of Guts and the brand. She hated to leave it here more.
Ruby palmed her Dust Bombs and sighed 'tomorrow I'm making a bandolier like Guts for these bombs maybe a pull tab that lights them when I take them off.' Ruby thought.
She looked around still nothing
'Damn I had hoped standing around would make me an enticing target apparently not.' Ruby thought as she folded up her scythe and headed into the forest once again.
Across the way a pair of eyes watched her.
They latched on her with hunger.
Entirety focused on that skirt of hers.
'Oh how he'd love to rip it off her…'
The hunt was on.
The apostle Vanished keeping to the shadows of the Forest as much as he could but still not losing sight of that Skirt.
However that was easy a Bright red Cloak in a sea of Brown logs in the dead of night.
The apostle hung to the shadows of darkness like it lived it in. It moved in it.
This girl was a visitor
This girl was trespassing.
He had sent some "minions" at her some local wildlife that had a displeasure of Humans as well.
They were easy to sway to his side.
Still the girl cut them down easy enough, showing she was fit.
Oh just the thought made her a more enticing fuck every moment.
She could be easy enough. But again he was also patient.
It took a lot out of him crossing over to this world. Separated by the Beherit that made him. This made him dangerous to die here even if he knew he'd show back up in Midland in pandemonium.
They all did even Grunbeld after he arrived in Qulithof first.
Being separated from their Beherit' in a different plane is not a death sentence. Only if they are killed by enchanted weapons like that damn Dragonslayer the Blackswordsmen carries.
Of course now he's separated by it as he's here the real one with the cursed Demon blood is on that Elf protected Island. Unreachable…for both parties.
Which is why Grunbeld didn't die. His host was killed, the shell but the entity that is Grunbeld still lives.
Still he wanted to hunt the girl. He would hunt the girl.
Even if he smelt the Branded one also very close.
He'd deal with the girl first.
Then tackle Guts. After he killed him. Then he'd be known as the strongest.
Indeed the hunt was on.
Guts sat outside looking up at the nights sky.
The moon was very very full. It was beautiful.
He never was much of a stargazer, more of the natural love of fire himself.
Guts felt his brand Bleed but it was faint.
Guts looked to his scroll to check on Ruby's progress
Ruby's aura was at 99%
On the map she was still heading farther away from the Rose-Xiao Long cabin.
Past the range of the brands sense
Guts narrowed his eyes at the screen.
'Let's see how well you do as the Hunted, Rose.' Guts said as he began to check his gear incase he needed to intervene at a moment's notice.
50 cal rounds for arm. Check.
30 cal rounds for arm. Check.
Dragonslayer Soaking in the blood of Grunbeld which he collected before the body faded from the dock Check.
Throwing knives on bandolier. Check.
Smoke bombs ready in pouch. Check
Regular bombs in pouch. Check
Aura gauge 100%
Food for the night plus extra snacks for Ruby. check
8 Aura boosters in case of Emergency's check.
Normally a Huntsman is warned about taking Aura boosters out. And usually they have a limit of only 1 at a time and you can only get another if you hand in the last one that's empty.
Why? Because Aura boosters were basically Huntsman versions of Drugs. Yeah they boosted your aura for a short time but they also made you feel the effects of a Super Aura needless to say it was like chasing a hype dream endlessly. Which is why it's professionally limited. To medical professionals and only distributed by the Headmaster's of all 4 academics.
Which still begs the Question why Guts had 8, 6 more than what was Legal to own.
Because Guts wasn't an idiot.
Having faced Apostles themselves it's like charging into a one man Army alone.
Without Armor and a rotted stick.
And while Guts was fully adapted to fighting Apostle's in less than ideal circumstances Ruby hasn't been trained
She watched a bit too close for his liking but watched
And now she's going to be baptized in fire.
But Guts wanted every possible outcome in their favor for Ruby to survive this.
Even before Taiyang Asked about how safe it was for Ruby to do this. Which he was honestly in saying to him it was as if dancing a naked bound woman over a pit of horny rapist's
Still Guts was able to convince Tai somehow.
Now he just had to carry through with his promise.
'Of all the times I wished Puck was here right now.' Guts though
Yeah the scrolls were great, the Aura boosters did basically the same thing as the elf dust.
But mostly because he missed someone to talk to.
Ironically the man who wandered the wastes for 2 years alone actually wanted someone to talk to.

'Ruby should be confronting the beast by now.' Guts though as he checked the Scroll

Guts stood up and looked around his brand wasn't going off but at the same time it was before an apostle was here it knew Guts was here
Which means only one thing
It was fully going after Ruby. Intent to kill and most likely Rape her.
If an apostle was this careful it had to be smart. Maybe even higher leveled like Wyald or even Grunbeld.
It could possibly even be Zodd himself
If Zodd was here no way Could Ruby take him on her own.
No it's better to watch. He might interfere with her training in tracking apostle's down but he'd be safer knowing that he could jump in at a moment's notice.
With that Guts slid Dragonslayer out of its Blood bath, flicking it down to flick all the blood that had not buried its way into the blade. Guts pulsed his Aura through the blade making it flare a different way than before
The Aura didn't burn away the blood coating which was good. He now had a viable way to kill Apostle's again.
It also made the blade feel different. Not heavier like it's not rejecting him from using it. But different.
Almost it's more akin to him
It sipped a bit of the blood… and now it wants more.
Guts slid the blade into its place on his back and glug his cloak around him as he strode his way into the forest giving chase after Ruby.
In the forest Ruby was getting more and more unnerved.
She looked to the sky to see it was midnight. The only encounter she had had was the Grimm in the clearing about 3 hours ago.
And now suddenly there was nothing.
No tracks, no claw marks, no shuffled snow, nothing, as if the thing didn't head this way.
'Was that possible?' Ruby questioned herself
Ruby sighed 'perhaps I should go back and loop around.'
Ruby shook her head 'no I got to focus.' She said
Ruby headed down the road more.
Suddenly she entered another clearing
And found more Beowolf's
'Great.' Ruby thought as she reached behind her to draw her weapon
Only for the Grimm to run.
'Weird.' Ruby thought
Suddenly she felt a chill go down her back
And a snarl
Ruby turned around slowly
And saw a large figure stand above her
'Oh shit.' Ruby thought.
"Hello little Girl…" the Apostle said
'Fuck this is way worse than I imagined.' Ruby thought her insite was screaming at her to Run.
Ruby turned around to see a horde of Grimm approaching her from behind snarling about to lunge.
Ruby was ready to Cut them down but the Apostle struck first
As a loud clap was heard as it's massive hand slapped the ground killing the Grimm horde.
"You will not interfere." He said
Now truely terrified Ruby looked up at him
The Apostle smiled
"Now…it's just us…alone…will you scream?" The Apostle asked
Ruby gulped but shook her head defiantly
"You will be…" the Apostle said.
The Apostle Dragged his hand across the ground to wrap around Ruby.
Ruby jumped over the Hand and landed
Ruby changed the Mag on Crescent Rose to a marked magazine with a dot in the middle with four Arrows pointing towards from a dot.
Ruby fear etched on her face fired at the Apostle
Ruby felt the pull on her weapon and let her body be carried by it.
The Apostle grinned 'good the little girl was coming right for him.'
Suddenly the Apostle felt the bullet and it bounced off.
As Ruby flew towards the Apostle he was ready to snatch her up.
Unfortunately he underestimated the amount of speed she was going.
As Ruby fired again as the Apostle clapped trying to catch Ruby between his hands.
However Ruby flew right past him over his shoulder
The Apostle looked back to see her running away.
"You think you can run from me?!" The Apostle roared before giving chase.
In the meantime Guts heard the thunderclap of a loud boom. Something that wasn't Human.
Guts knew immediately what it was.
And knew it was bad once he heard the roar.
Guts snapped a look at the scroll
Ruby was heading towards him
Fast. Faster than the app could update.
Still Guts knew it wasn't going to be enough.
Guts broke out into a run.
He had to reach Ruby.
Ruby looked behind her to see the Apostle chasing after Ruby in a full sprint.
He was on all fours.
Ruby looked ahead and counted
'5…4…3…2…1…now!' Ruby jumped as the Apostle tried to lunge at Ruby trying to tackle her to the ground.
Ruby however landed in the tree above her as she looked to see the Apostle getting up
A mistake for her
She wanted to see what he looked like she only saw a silhouette before.
It only took a second for the Apostle to spot her which made her eep as she ran on the branches to get away.
The Apostle didn't hesitate and gave chase on the ground.
Ruby was unable to keep track of the Apostle as she was too focused on trying not to trip off a branch
Ruby looked ahead trying to find a place where she could leap to the next tree farther away from where she was now.
Unfortunately because she didn't keep track she was surprised when the Apostle climbed up the trunk of the tree ahead of her Reaching out to grab her.
"Ahh!" Ruby gasped as she tried to stop but she was moving too fast.
And because of that she tripped
She landed on her knees groaning. She was ok but her Aura took a dip
Unfortunately the Apostle was right on top of her straddling her
Ruby gasped as she felt his weight.
"Hold still little girl." The Apostle said as he started to toy around her groin
"NOOOOO!" Ruby groaned as she used her semblance to dissolve into Petals
This confused the Apostle as he looked around
"Huh where did she go?"
Finally he noticed her down the way the same way she was going before
"Interesting." The Apostle grinned as he charged after her.
Ruby ran faster than she ever expected
Pure fear on her face. She was 4 minutes to being raped again. She got lucky with Torchwick because the Chasity belt.
'Looks like the belt is apart of my gear set too.' Ruby thought as she kept running. Not looking where she was going.
Eventually she noticed the light of something bright as she looked up
She had entered a clearing
'Fuck!' Ruby cursed as she looked around and behind her
The Apostle was charging at her at speed
'FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! RUN!' Ruby screamed mentally to herself as she took off on her semblance
The Apostle watched cheerfully as she got away.
Only for the Apostle to get faster.
Even using her semblance Ruby was still being gained on
Ruby looked back terrified as she looked to the side to see the beast matching speed with her
'What the fuck?!' She panicked
As she looked at him she could see obvious traces of Cheetah spots on the skin. Backward facing hind legs.
The fucking speed.
Ruby clenched her eyes trying to prevent the tears from blurring her vision as she amped up her semblance
The Cheetah Apostle watched as she ran with a smile on his face. This was fun. He'd exhaust her. Then have a go with her without speed making her feel helpless.
Then he'd go another Round at full speed fully breaking her brain to mush. After that he'd just discard and eat her.
The Apostle stayed back for now hoping to outrun her endurance more than anything else.
Ruby looked back trying to get her breathing under control
Kinda hard to do while running for your fucking life.
Ruby looked back just in time
To slam into a tree headfirst
Ruby groaned and shook herself awake as she looked behind her
The Apostle was right on top of her.
Not even thinking she started to crawl to her feet and dashed off
The Apostle just missing Ruby by a hair had he been faster he might have been able to pin her to the tree
That thought aroused him as he kept up the chase.
Ruby looked back and saw that the Apostle was no where to be seen
Ruby stopped and laid against a tree panting trying to catch her breath
She had hoped that her getting off to the side away from where she ran would make the Apostle speed past and miss her.
She looked around the truck of the tree and was fortunately to feel the rush of wind as said Apostle blurred past her location.
Ruby sighed and turned back
Only to come face to face with the Apostle again in human form as he cupped her cheeks with his hand
"Shush…hold still little girl and this will be nice and easy…" the Apostle said as he slowly tried to undo Ruby's panties under her Corset.
Ruby tried to move but found her self pinned to the tree roughly and both her mouth and nose were covered
She was losing air
She felt darkness start to overtake her when with a desperate gamble she raised one of her legs and kicked as hard as she could
The Man went flying crashing into several trees before he laid there.
Ruby looked up gasping for breath before she looked to see the Apostle off of her.
Ruby didn't hesitate she ran again heading to her cabin

This was a horror show, she expected this. Guts told her this would occur.
Yet experiencing it was completely different.
She looked around for something that she could use to possibly fight back
As she bent down to check her surroundings the tree she was leaning on Exploded
The Apostle in human form leapt through the tree and landed before her.
"Tired of running Girl?"
Ruby glared at the Apostle as she took out Crescent Rose
"Fighting it is then." The Apostle sighed as she cracked his fingers and lunged
Ruby slid under him and fired a gravity round to gain distance
The Apostle however was able to turn on a dime and blast next to Ruby
As Ruby in monumentum kicked herself up and turned around she was greeted by the Apostle standing before her.
He backhanded her before she could react
Before.

Ruby went flying and landed on the ground groaning as she looked up to see the Apostle standing over her.
"Do you finally realize how useless it is to fight?" The apostle's asked
Ruby looked up defiant
The apostle bent down
"Here let me show you that you can enjoy this." The apostle said as he grabbed Ruby's cheeks and brought her into a kiss
Ruby gasped as she felt a kiss stolen by an apostle.
Ruby tried to react and get away but the Apostle's grip was like Iron.
Ruby had to get away; she knew she was helpless in this position and the apostle could have his way.
Ruby tried to struggle as she reached for Crescent Rose
She happened to angle her scythe around the apostle.
The apostle pulled away as a string of saliva connected them.
"Have you learned how entertaining I can be?" He asked
Ruby sighed
Then she fired.
She hooked the apostle's around the ankles and was knocked to the ground
The apostle looked up shocked as now it was Ruby standing over him.
In a blink of an eye she swung her scythe down into his chest.
Ruby looked livid intent with every ounce of her being to impale her moliester.
Ruby gasped
The apostle was holding the sides of Crescent Rose
Ruby shivered in fear. Before anger overwhelmed her.
He was smiling.
He was taunting her.
'FUCK THAT!' Ruby roared as she pulled the trigger
With the blade angled the way it was not only Blasted the Apostle in the face but dug the blade into his chest as well. As the apostle let out a roar in pain.
Ruby grinned she had hurt him
And damn did that feel empowering.
Ruby dragged the body across the ground and flung it off the blade and landed on the ground with a thump.
The Apostle looked up as Ruby rushed forward towards him.
The barrage was intense as she dragged her blade past him just as fast as he could heal from the pain.
'What? The Fuck?!' The apostle questioned himself as he felt pain all over his body
Finally Ruby stopped across not even tired.
The apostle looked down and was amazed all over him were cute like a flayed fish.
This bitch practically skinned him alive.
Ruby cracked her neck "I've had enough games now. You tried to scare me fine. I'll give you that. You tried to rape me, you didn't but you got close, your still gonna hurt.
"You molest me?" Ruby paused as she leveled her scythe at the Apostle
"Your gonna fucking burn!" Ruby growled
The apostle stood up cracking his neck, his injuries to his Arms and chest already healing. As the Grimm sludge made him whole again.
"Alright little red…think you can outpace me?" The apostle grinned.
Ruby said nothing and began her attack
The apostle only saw her vanish
Then felt the after shock of the swing at the back of his head
'Behind me?!' He gasped
He was sent flying as he went flying off to the side
The apostle stood up wiping blood from his lips.
"I'm impressed little girl you might actually be faster than me." He scoffed
Ruby almost looked disappointed
"I haven't even used all my semblance." She said bored
The apostle looked confused before Ruby appered behind him and leveled Crescent rose to the back of his head
"It's speed." She said
The apostle didn't even see her move.
He tried to use his speed to get away but Ruby seeing the fight 500 times faster than average fired as he tried to get up shooting out his legs.
"ARGHHH?!" The apostle roared as Ruby Spun around him and tried to cleave off his head
She was so close
But one sliver still hung onto the neck
And that was enough for him to regenerate from
The apostle reached up and grabbed her before she could leap away he got quiet touchy especially around her groin
Fuck he was teasing her again molesting her for fun.
Ruby growled and jammed a Bomb in the Apostle's mouth as he let her go to try to get it out Ruby made distance and fired behind her hitting the bomb and blowing it up. Covering the place with a dust cloud
Ruby sighed as she got up relaxed it was over… finally it was over.
Ruby closed Crescent rose and started to walk away.
"Come er!" The apostle roared as he tackled Ruby
Ruby hit the ground and felt and heard Crescent Rose clatter away.
She was helpless
'Fucking stupid!' Ruby growled to herself she knew she shouldn't turn her back on an apostle but she did.
And now she was going to be raped because of it.
'Fucking stupid Ruby!' Ruby tried to think of a way out of the situation.
Unfortunately the apostle held her arms above her head so she couldn't reach the Dust bombs.
And he held her far out so she couldn't kick him
Guts had told her not to underestimate them and that's what she did.
In her mind this was equal punishment for not listening.
Ruby growled she hadn't truly unlocked her eyes yet perhaps if she had she could have made an opening for her to escape and get Crescent Rose.
Ruby moaned as she felt something travel across her body
Ruby opened her eyes to see a black Thin tentacle stretching out of the Apostle's streached out of the Apostle waist and poke around her panties
The instrument unmistakable by its design
Ruby shit her eyes trying to Will the tears away it was her mistake she should own up to the consequences.
'If only she could just…'
One of her hands had slipped out of his grip
A chance.
Using her speed she unhooked a bomb from her pouch and lit it while holding it between the two of them
'Brothers, I hope my Aura will protect me enough.' Ruby through.
The dust bomb exploded sending her flying and landing on the ground with an oof.
Ruby looked around as soon as she could to try to find Crescent Rose.
She spotted her and tried to make a dash for it
However the apostle was quicker and grabbed her under arm and pulled her farther away
"Noo!" Ruby screamed as she tried to use her semblance to vanish but the apostle Drove a hand on her butt making her gasp especially with the speed and power of it.
"When will brats like you learn?" He said as he delivered Round after round to Ruby's bum.
After five though Ruby Kicked him in the face making him again let go. This time she was successful in grabbing her weapon.
Although not for long as she just straightened up
When she was knocked down again this time the apostle pinned her arms in place and her legs with his while his Cock tentacle thing tried to slither under her panties.
"I've had enough games girl. I'm going to deliver your punishment! And your going to like it!"
Ruby screamed "GET AWAY FROM ME YOUR FUCKER?!" Ruby screamed as she struggled trying to prevent the Apostle from taking her.
"Hahahaha!" The apostle laughed
"ARGH!" The apostle screamed before it flew off of Ruby and into the ground
Ruby looked back with her tear stained face.
And found Guts Vexing. Arm cannon out.
And ready to Declare war.
