Chapter start
Guts and Ruby followed Weiss to the landing pad who was in a spring Ruby tried to catch up but stumbled several times and she didn't want to actively use her semblance especially with the Dildo inside of her.
"Weiss, what is going on? Why are you running!" Ruby asked
"Winter!" Weiss called making Ruby and Guts look at each other "Wait…her sister?" Guts shrugged
The three ran up to the elder Schnee as she turned to see them Weiss greeted her "Winter! I'm so happy to see you! Oh Your presence honors us." Weiss said in a curtsy
Winter looked around as she approached them "Beacon... It's been a long time. The air feels... different."
Ruby rubbed the back of her head "I mean it is fall, so, eh, it's probably colder."
Weiss goes to stealthily punch Ruby in the shoulder, but Guts catches the hand. Weiss turned back to Winter "So, what are you doing here?"
Winter had a strict smile "Classified."
Weiss nodded and bowed "Oh, right. Well, how long are you staying?"
Winter's smile fell somewhat as she looked away. "Classified."
Weiss bowed "Of course."
Guts looked between Winter and Weiss 'something isn't right' he thought
Ruby "Well... this is nice... I think." She said trying to break the silence
Weiss exploded in happiness "you're going to love it here! I know you travel a lot, but so much of Beacon is different from Atlas! Vale, too. The government and school are completely separate! Can you believe it!? I-"
Winter cut her off coldly as she declared "I'm more than familiar with how this kingdom handles its... bureaucracy. That is not why I came."
Weiss bowed "Right! I'm sorry!"
Winter glared at her sister "Nor did I come here to watch my own blood fail so miserably in battle. But it appears that I have no choice in the matter." She said
Weiss looked appalled "But, we won!?"
Winter shook her head "Only a novice would refer to that as a victory. I counted at least three strikes missed. Leave us." She said as she ordered the Android guards to step away Winter sighed "How have you been?"
Weiss jumped happily "Oh, splendid! Thank you for asking. I'm actually in the very top ranking of our sparring class! And the rest of my studies are going wonderfully, too! I'm-"
Winter slaps Weiss on the head "Silence, you boob! I don't recall asking about your ranking, I'm asking how you've been. Are you eating properly? Have you taken up any hobbies? Are you making new friends?"
Ruby and Guts were appalled at the treatment Weiss had to go through and that was from someone she considered a sister.
Weiss was undeterred "Well, there's Ruby." She said
Ruby giggled as she pushed a bit of aura into Weisses wound healing her "Heh, boob."
Guts rolled his eyes clearly, Ruby was more affected by the Dildo than she realized.
"And of course this is her boyfriend Guts." Weiss said
Guts nodded to Winter.
Winter stared at Ruby judging her "I see. So this is the leader you wrote of. How appropriately... underwhelming."
Ruby looked confused "Uh... Thank you!?" She said confused.
Winter snapped into a cheerful attitude and said professionally "Greetings, Ruby Rose. I wish to thank you for taking an interest in my sister."
Ruby jumped surprised at her speaking to her "Oh! Uh, yes, of course! The honor is in my... court!" Ruby said as she nearly stumbled
Guts rolled his eyes "don't do that it only makes you an idiot in front of them and makes you look like a suck up to the rest of your peers just be yourself."
Ruby nodded and acted normally
Winter glared at Guts "I don't know your upbringing but clearly you're a bad influence on my sister with your barbaric tendencies I-."
Guts cut her off "No you don't know my upbringing, so I recommend you don't get into my life or my ideas until you realize what shaped them, your here for a reason fine, I'll tolerate you but I'm here for a reason to and I will be damned if I don't uphold it even if your a supposed ally of ours."
Winter was shocked at being talked back to but smiled "Good you have a backbone that makes you better than most, I have business with the General and your Headmaster. But, seeing as I'm early, why don't you take me to your quarters?" She said
Weiss smiled "Really?" She asked
Winter started to walk "Yes. I wish to inspect them and make sure that they are up to my personal standards."
Weiss smiled "Of course. Just so you're aware, the bunk beds only look unstable."
Winter turned to Weiss' curious "Bunk beds?"
Ruby and Guts walked ahead. And were by the fountain by the time Qrow started to insult Winter.
"HALT!" Winter said
Guts looked up "we should see what's going on." He said
"Good idea I'll find Weiss you see if you can't get past the crowd." Ruby said
By the time Ruby got to Weiss, Winter and Qrow's argument had devolved to fighting
"What's going on?" She asked
"Some crazy guy just started attacking my sister!?" Weiss said
"Oh no! Who would do such a th-That is my uncle!" Ruby jumped
"What?!" Weiss gasped but Ruby was yelling
"Kick her butt, Uncle Qrow!"
"In teach him respect winter!" Weiss cheered.
Ruby smiled 'ah see she could enjoy the finer bits of life. In fact many of the people here seem to be.' Ruby thought as she scanned the Crowd
Ruby noticed Mercury run and narrowed her eyes at his retreat.
She looked back to see Winter about to Thrust at Qrow only for Dragonslayer to block the attack.
"Qrow!" Guts yelled off to the side of the Walkway
Qrow looked over as he paled. Winter followed shocked at the interference and saw Guts but he looked completely different from before. Eager to fight.
"If you're done flirting, there's a real opponent who's been waiting for you to fight him." Guts said
"Oh shit!" Students said as they drew their scrolls and started recording.
"Stay out of this!" Winter said. throwing her arms down like she was having a hissy fit.
Qrow stepped forward "you really want to do this kid? You just tossed your weapon away?" Qrow taunted
"Heh old man I could beat both of you with a hand tied behind my back empty handed with one eye." Guts said
Qrow knew he wasn't joking but Winter didn't as she vanished
"DON'T!" Qrow called but it was too late as Winter thrusted her weapon at Guts however he caught it with his hand allowing her to not be able to pull it away.
Guts leveled his other hand to her chest and fired at Winter sending her flying in pain as she hit the other side of the street
"Foolish." Guts said as he tossed her weapon away and strode forward.
"Look at how powerful you people claim to be until someone comes to knock you down…then you're worse than insects." Guts said as he grabbed Dragonslayer. And stood over Winter who looked up in horror. As Guts stood before her Sword raised above him
"I should put you out of your misery!" Guts yelled as he threw down Dragonslayer onto of Winter
CLANG!
Guts and winter looked to see Qrow standing next to him using Harbinger to keep Winter from being crushed.
"Q-Qrow!?" Winter asked
"Look ice Queen, I may hate you…but I don't want you to die." Qrow said as he tossed Dragonslayer away up in the air. Before Qrow followed through to slice at Guts
However Guts flew with Dragonslayer and ended up on the other side and blocked the attack with the sword.
"Impressive Qrow you've grown. I didn't think I'd find someone other than me who could lift Dragonslayer." Guts said
"Heh like I said before I'm full of surprises." Qrow said as he pushed Guts back
Guts retained his balance and looked up to see Qrow falling on top of him Guts twisted his sword to level it on his back to block the strike. Before sending Qrow towards the crowd. With a simple flick of his wrist.
Ruby was shivering 'oh gods I don't know who to root for!' She said
Qrow landed on his back he noticed Ruby looking and smerked as he stood up he grabbed Winters weapon and threw it to her
"WINTER!" He said
Winter caught it elegantly as both Qrow and Winter rushed at Guts at the same time
"Good, your learning!" Guts said as he parried Qrows attack with Dragonslayer sending Qrow flying and dodged Winters thrust at the same time before he delivered a punch to her gut.
Winter was appalled 'he's strong and fast, how is that possible!' Winter asked as she opened up her sword and drew her dagger and went for an ice pick stab into Guts shoulder
Winter smiled as she felt the dagger dig into him
However what she didn't expect was Guts not to react. As he punched Winter and sent her flying Guts roared and flew at her about to cleave her in two
BANG!
Everyone in the audience froze as the gunshot was heard
Ruby was appalled as she saw Qrow had shot her boyfriend
"UNCLE HOW DARE YOU TRY TO KILL MY BOYFRIEND!?" Ruby called
"Boyfriend?" Qrow asked as Guts stood across from each other
"Are you dating my niece?" Qrow asked
"What are you going to do about it?" Guts asked
"Well I'm going to see if you're worthy." Qrow said as he rushed Guts
"Ha!" Guts said as he sent Qrow flying in the air with a strike
"You and I both know you are not equipped to deal with me no one here is!" Guts said
Qrow landed on a lamp post
"I don't need to deal with you. Just wait for someone who can WINTER!" Qrow snapped
Guts turned around to see Winter summoning something
Guts grit his teeth and stepped forward until a large Fist dug itself up from the ground
Guts froze in shock
"Impossible!" Guts said
Standing 7 feet tall massive bull horns and wings Stood the imposing form of Zodd the immortal in Apostle form
"I don't know what you use to bring him here but I'll say I'm impressed I might actually have to put in some effort." Guts said grinning eagerly at the fight
Zodd roared in Guts face immediately Guts impressed face fell down to disappointment.
"You're not Zodd…" Guts said shaking his head as He held out Dragonslayer and beheaded him with Dragonslayer in one go
"Zodd wouldn't have allowed himself to be cut down in one go." Guts said as his form dissipated as Winter looked horrified
"Your just a mockery." Guts said
Guts snapped a look back as Qrow threw himself as Guts he parried it and landed as Winter rushed him from behind as Guts grabbed the blade but was in an awkward angle
"SCHNEE!" A voice boomed
Everyone parted to see General Ironwood standing there looking very disappointed
"What do you think you're doing?" He said
"He started the altercation-." Winter said But Guts stepped forward
"Sorry General it was my fault I got so excited about all the fights happening I had to have some of the action myself." Guts said
Qrow and Winter were shocked at how the lie was performed however General Ironwood didn't bat an eye
"Very well, but you." He said looking to Qrow
James stepped forward "what are you doing here?" He asked
"I can be asking you the same thing." Qrow said slyly
Guts and James spoke in at the same time
"Qrow-"
"I-"
Only to be cut off.
"Now now everyone. There is a special sanctioned fight happening just around the corner at the coliseum which I can assure you has better seats…and pop corn." Ozpin said jiggling his coffee.
Ruby gasped 'that's right I have my match!' She thought
"Break it up everyone, we will deal with this mess." Glynda said as she spun around to clean the mess
As she did so every scroll in the courtyard went off
The news title alone was enough to get everyone interested

Everyone looked over and started to book it to the Airbusses
Ironwood, seeing the issue resolved nodded and adjusted his tie. "Let's go." He said
As the two walked off. Guts and James nodded to each other as they walked away. Winter glaired at Guts not believing that James would respect him but secretly gave her a smile of thanks.
Guts smiled and Approached Qrow but Ruby got there first.
"Uncle Qrow! Hi. It's so good to see you! Did you miss me? Did you miss me!?" She screamed as she latched onto his arm
Qrow smiled "Nope."
Ozpin called to Qrow: "Qrow, Guts!" He looks up and Ruby gets dropped "A word, please."
Qrow sighed "I think I'm in trouble." He said as he bent down to whisper in Her ear
Ruby shrugged "You did kinda tear up our courtyard
"Yeah, I did. Catch ya later, kid." He said with a wink
"Sooner than you think." Ruby responses which threw Qrow for a loop as Qrow walked with Guts. Ruby walked away.
"What was that about?" He asked confused
"You'll have to wait to find out." Guts said which caused Qrow to pause "mean."
Qrow stood over to Ozpin. "Hey Oz I-." Qrow started but Ozpin ignored him and spoke to Guts
"Guts bring Ruby to Amity. Her match is in a few minutes and she doesn't want to be late." Ozpin said
Guts nodded and walked off
"Match? I thought the Single matches weren't till next few weeks?" Qrow asked
Ozpin smiled "your niece isn't fighting in the singles but I feel it important to show off her skills. Careful Qrow Ruby has become an International celebrity." He said as he walked off
Qrow scoffed "international celebrity I'll believe that when I see it." He muttered to himself as he drank from his flask
Qrow looked over to see Ozpin walking away "wait where are you going?" He asked
Ozpin looked over his shoulder "to watch." He said
While that was happening
Weiss walked up to Ruby. "And suddenly your negligence makes sense." She said
"You're just mad because He kicked butt." Ruby said
"Guts won." Weiss argued
"Exactly." Ruby said as if Weiss just proved her point.
"You think there's a meeting?" Weiss asked
"Probably but we will be informed." Ruby said
Suddenly there was a buzz. "Speak of the devil." Ruby said as she looked cheerful before it dropped
"Ruby?" Weiss asked
"Get team JNPR together. Apparently it's urgent." Ruby said Weiss nodded as she opened her scroll.
Ruby looked at the time "shit my match." Ruby said
Ruby looked to Weiss "you think you can hold the fort while I'm gone?" Ruby asked
"What are you talking about, we're coming with you." Wiess said
Ruby nodded then went off to the Airbusses to hitch a right back to Amity.
However before Ruby could get on Guts grabbed her and led her to a bullhead around the back.
"Ozpin didn't want you riding Public, apparently you've grown extremely popular." Guts said
Ruby rolled her eyes "it's probably overblown but sure. I'll accept it for more alone time with you." She said
Guts smiled
"I want to Up the bet." Guts said
Ruby looked shocked "huh?" She asked
"I want you to actually try. So how about this, for every person you defeat in less than 2 mins I'll unlock you from the belt or give you the remote and seeing as you lost at least 3 bets meaning 3 days belted." Guts said
"That's mean to them." Ruby said
Guts smiled
"Yes but you also have incentives For everyone you don't defeat. You add an extra day to have the belt on." Guts said
Ruby gasped
"So I could theoretically…" Ruby started
"Take the belt off tonight if you're quick enough or be locked for the rest of the tournament." Guts said
Ruby huffed damn he really drove a hard bargain
"Fine. But no using the remote during the match." Ruby said
"I'll give it to you so I can't. How's that." Guts said
Ruby nodded "passable."
The two landed as Ruby headed into the stage and Guts went to the stands.
In the Arena Ruby was stunned
The Stage lights were on because it was Dark out but more than that
The place was packed
Like more packed than she ever saw it people were all sitting on others laps just to share seats.
She really underestimated her popularity.
She looked around and saw that the opponents were there.
From the look of it there seemed to be at least 24 people who wanted to challenge her.
Ruby noticed several people she recognized in the line up
Yatsuhashi Daichi.
Pyrrha Nikos.
Sun Wukong.
Even some fourth years of all 4 schools.
Many from those in Beacon and those that knew her had a movement about them, something she confirmed in their face. They didn't expect to win not against her.
They were here for fun. And wanted a good match. Not that she wasn't going to not go easy on them. But she would give them a good fight
However, those only made up one tenth of the fighters. And there were several people who were here for various reasons.
Some like her friends wanted to fight her in a real fight because they wanted to face her.
Others wanted to say 'I fought against Ruby Rose.'
Those two groups she could accept
However, many of the other 4th years from the other schools, She could see they were different.
They weren't here for fun.
No, they were jealous.
To be fair it was somewhat justifiable.
They have slaved away for at least 8 years trying to be the best of the best and prove themselves
And this second year Upstart who by all rights shouldn't even be able to handle a weapon yet is somehow not only more powerful than them. But more recognized than them.
Still in that group there reasons for fighting varied too which Ruby gave them different reactions
There were those who were there to "test her stuff." And see if she was the real deal.
Then there were others who believed she was a pushover and wanted to show her her place.
And then the last group the group she absolutely despised
They were the ones who just wanted her to fail
And they would do all the dirty tricks to prove that she was a cheap knockoff.
It was the last one… that she would have no mercy with.
Suddenly the Large Stadium lights flashed on showing her much to her shock
There were way more than 20 fighters she originally saw.
Perhaps there were more than 60. Possibly 100.
Talk about a fucking mosh pit.
Ruby might have bitten off more than she could Chew.
She heard of the battle Guts had that night to defend Casca.
But she never expected she'd have to experience it.
Plus many of those were conscripts.
These people were trained…
Suddenly the Jumbotron came on and the match commentator's spoke.
{"welcome one and all to the Amity coliseum Special night match!"} Port boomed
{"Tonight we are in the Presence of a true Huntress. And we will have the glory of watching every second in all of its glory! In high definition."} port said
{"indeed! And as a special bonus. We got, not one. Not two but Five high speed cameras to capture all the action."} Oobleck said
{"Hence the reason for the Stadium lights do we can get Crystal clear replays because even I know Ms Rose will want to inspect her form as to where she can improve."} Port said
Ruby smirked and saluted the Commentators box which made the Crowd go wild!
And the fighters there who were to prove a point angrier.
Ruby smiled as she stood relaxed
"I hope you don't mind if I try to get this over with. I want to be awake for the marches tomorrow." Ruby said
Pyrrha smirked cockily "oh believe me I know." She said as she dropped herself low. As the others against Ruby readyed their weapons.
{"before we begin there are a few special rules for this match that are unlike the other featured matches before or sense. Noteable 1 Aura does not matter."} Port said
That made everyone in her stands and almost everyone on the stage look back shocked
The only one unphased where the ones who knew what to Expect
Team RWBY.
Team JNPR.
And Guts.
In the stands Qrow sat next to Oz in a special box with James and Glynda.
Next to James was Winter Schnee and Penny.
And Glynda sat on the other side of Ozpin
Qrow leaned over to Oz.
"What are we about to watch?" He asked
Ozpin was unphased
"How a real Legend fights." Ozpin said simply
Port kept talking
{"the only way you can be eliminated is by being knocked out. Or by being put in a position where you can't do anything to respond or you would die in a real situation."}
{"are these Rules Clear?"} Oobleck asked
{"Ring outs are not Qualified for elimination! So if you need to. Feel free to jump out of the ring, catch your breath then jump back in. The only one who is unable to do this is Ms Rose herself. no Attacks are to land outside of the Combat ring or come from outside the combat ring and will be grounds for Elimination."} Port said
{"If there is no question then we will begin, There will be no buzzer to Start the match but Ms Rose has said that it's up to her opponents to make the first move."} Oobleck said
Finally the Stadium came to Dead silence.
Ruby looked at her assembled Opponents
She walked the Field looking at each of her opponent's before moving to the next one trying to get a read as to who would be either itchy enough to make the first move
Or phased enough to do some stupid.
No one had bit so far.
As Ruby scanned the Rows she also took note of those who passed before.
Pyrrha was fiddling with her Gun
Sun was Spinning his gun chucks
Yatsuhashi was sitting on the ground mediating.
As Ruby kept scanning and walking around she was getting disappointed that no one was eager to strike her.
Ruby slapped her sides
"You all talk big but at the end of the day…here you are!" Ruby sighed as she turned away
"And all of you are just frozen." Ruby said
From behind her she heard the stepping of Boots on the stage
Ruby's smile was hidden by her bent head 'perfect someone took her bait.'
From behind her one of the fourth years from the back was charging forward shoving past the others to get to her
He had a Warhammer as he siliently jumped and slammed his Hammer down on her
Only for Ruby to Explode into petals. Which flew around him in a cyclone
"That was good. You were quiet. You didn't show any intent to attack. And you didn't yell stupidity to announce your attack. Your a fourth year?" Ruby asked in the storm of petals
"Um 3rd actually." He said
In the wall of petals Ruby's face formed a smirk
"Keep it up kid…I'm going to kick you out now try again this time try to bring some of your friends with your that's the only way you will have a chance." Ruby said
The kid was shocked but nodded as he tried to stand
However Ruby was ahead of him as she sent him flying from the cyclone easily landing the ground outside of it.
As the petals circled around they started to Reform into Ruby with a smile and happiness. But also bloodlust.
"Well it seems one of you's got balls." Ruby said as she Drew Crescent Rose and slammed it into the ground as she cycled a round.
"How about the rest?" She asked
This time Ruby went on the offensive.
Ruby blitzed across the field fast.
She shifted into rose petals so she was intangible to attacks.
Although with her speed it didn't matter she left after images which confused her opponents anyways.
She waved through the ones who she respected she'd let them be last.
It was the ones that wanted to prove her as a cheat or something that she'd take out first.
Ruby half formed back and took a massive backswing.
There was a sonic boom followed by the Musical rendition of Auras shattering like glass as at least 5 bodies went flying in the Air
Ruby pivoted as she realized that she had given her opponents enough time to Counter.
And they were in mid swing.
She jumped onto Her scythe and extended it into Warscythe form propelling her away.
As 10 more opponents slammed into one another giving them all concussions.
Ruby landed and discarded her opponents knowing they were injured enough to not be a threat for the moment. As she sped off to deal with the others
With the two seconds she used to take out or disable 15 opponents this basically made those fighting her reconsider the fact she didn't deserve to be at Beacon or be considered A legendary Huntress.
Ruby charged and butchered at least 15 more.
Some people to Ruby's suprise did hit her.
Something that made the crowd scream and her opponents gain moral
Ruby Rose may he slated for a legendary Huntress.
But she was still human.
In the stands Qrow watched Slack jawed at his neiece.
He knew that Ruby was good after all only 5 people beat The signal Final exam.
And only 2 did it single handedly.
You don't get to do that and not be a badass.
But badass doesn't cut this.
Qrow picked his jaw off the ground and leaned to Ozpin
"How much was she holding back during the final test?" Qrow asked
"I'm not sure. But according to her interview the only fight she did go all out on the quick draw at the start." Ozpin said
Qrow looked back to the match and paled
"She's still holding back, isn't see?" Qrow said
"Most definitely." Ozpin said
Winter looked at Ozpin in shock.
"H-how did she get this good?" Winter asked
"She's always been this good." Qrow said
"What?" Winter asked
"Yeah she'd hid her potential for a while. It's only from her training from Guts that really pushed her. I don't think she's used anything he's taught her yet." Qrow said
Winter looked back shocked
On the battlefield Ruby was firing Crescent Rose as everyone was charging at her.
Well most of them. Sun, Yats and Pyrrha were in the distance shooting back.
Which were annoying as they kept up pressure on her to move or her Aura would be hit allowing more people to close in on her.
Ruby knew she was in a bad situation.
Ruby looked over to see a few people taking a water break
They just happened to be having it behind her.
'Yeah no shit they were trying to attack her from behind.'
Ruby growled as she jumped left as an opponent tried to hit her
What she didn't expect was a complete follow up which the mace her opponent used slammed into her gut.
Ruby flew back and dragged her scythe on the ground so she wasn't tossed out of the ring. As he landed in a crouch angry at herself for that mistake.
{"holy Shit RUBY ROSE HAS BEEN HIT!"} Port cheered
{"And not by a stray accidental Bullet either a Physical intentional Solid hit!"} Oobleck said
{"Ladies and gentlemen this fight is getting exciting let's make some noise!"} Port cheered
The crowd obliged and the sound was deffening.
Guts sat in his chair, arms crossed with a smirk. He knew Ruby was playing with them. Heck he would be doing the same thing, but Ruby had better get her head in the game or else she'd be wearing the belt for a while.
Next to Guts team WBY and JNR looked at the match
They were excited and didn't know who to root for.
Team WBY was loyal to their leader and they knew she could sweep this match.
But they also wanted to root for the underdog.
Yang cheered and looked to Guts
"Who do you expect to win?" Yang asked
Guts looked to Yang with s look of 'do you need to ask?'
Weiss laughed "How about another question who do you think will get the next hit on Ruby?" She asked
Guts narrowed his eyes before answering
"If she's smart she won't be. But I don't think she is so…I'll have to say Either Sun or Pyrrha." Guts said
Back in the Arena Ruby stood up she had gotten cocky now she was serious. She had humbled those who wanted to mock her.
Now she could finished this before-."
Ring!
Ruby froze and paled
Ring!
Ruby quickly grabbed her scroll and shut it off
Ruby bowed her head defeated
'Shit…' she thought
She got so caught up she forgot all about the bet.
Ruby sighed and just relaxed
'You know what fuck it. I'm just going to enjoy the rest of the match.' Ruby said
She looked over to see Guts smiling she knew that he knew.
Ruby shrugged
As she turned back and time basically unfroze for her
She limboed under a barrage of bullets from both Sun and Pyrrha.
The last one was from May who was in the back with her sniper
She chambered a round
But not just any round.
These were Anti-Huntsman rounds.
They Moved faster than any huntsman who used their Aura to speed up his or her movements.
They negated Aura going for lethal blows and damage that if hit could Stun a person and prevent them from using their Aura to Heal from the wound. Essentially these were Huntsman killers. Highly regulated. You were basically put on a watch list if you were known to have them.
And Mays sniper rifle was known to be already fast.
Combined with the Anti-huntsman bullets.
She could be a hired gun for any antiHuntsmen faction and be an infamous sniper.

All of her opponents Stood stock still. They expected a fight. They didn't expect facing something like this.
Ruby looked over the battlefield like a King overlooks their subjects.
Fifteen years had she been waiting
To sit upon her throne and now they knew

The Anti-Huntsman bullets negated Aura which meant they negated Semblances upon contact other huntsman had to use special gloves to make sure there Auras didn't get locked up to handle them.
Ruby Activated her Aura showing the Crowd, the Stage, and her opponents her Aura was just fine.
From their faces of horror she could tell they had brown stains in their pants.
It was as if her power were divine.
Ruby lowered herself into a crouch and smiled.
'They thought I was too young… just just fail to understand.' Ruby thought to herself as she snapped her face up and Her eyes shined with power

There was a sonic boom as she vanished

Those still on there looked up to See Ruby decending upon them her scythe back held in reverse grip as she landed and cleaved.
Ruby stood upon the people she knocked down like a victor upon those they slayed in battle.
And the camera's got a close up shot at Ruby She was unphased.
The crowd looked shocked they knew they were in for a surprise but this…this was more than they bargained for.
They didn't notice May chambering another and fire at Ruby
This time Ruby didn't go for dramatic's as she aimed Her scythe in sniper form and Shot the bullet out of the sky
Without looking.
One of the people under the pile tried to look up in defiance
Ruby just used his face as a doormat.
Ruby didn't care he was one of the ones who mocked her.
And she made them bow
Ruby looked up to the Moon high in the sky at this point as if shining upon her with Divine approval.
Team RWBY and JNPR were shutting themselves.
I mean honestly there leader had taken out at least 35 people in the span of 3 minutes
They didn't expect even Pyrrha could do that.
And that was Pyrrha Nikos.
Ruby at this point was daydreaming about her battle with the Paladin battle with Roman Torchwick.

She found her and she would prove her worth.
In her mind the voices screamed
'All that's thine shall be mine, there's no stopping me!'
Ruby broke the deadlock and vanished
Just as Sun fired a shot at Ruby from behind
Which unfortunately hit Pyrrha in the face making her stumble.
Right into Ruby who put her into a chokehold and slam her into the arena Headfirst

Ruby looked around to see the only two opponents left were Sun and Yats.
Ruby smiled and sped off
Sun already use to Sage spoke to Yats
"Get ready to throw me."
Yats looked confused
"You sure?"
Sun looked around frantically as he noticed Ruby was gathering up speed.
"DO IT!" He snapped
Yats dropped his sword as Sun hopped on
"Now!" he screamed
Yats threw him up to go knows where.
Just as Ruby used her build up speed to land a devastating hit on Yats draining his Aura completely in the span on a blink.
Yats fell completely spent.
He hadn't even gotten a chance to swing his sword.
Sun looked around seeing everyone defeated as he hung in the air for a second

Everyone else was stunned Ruby kept fighting.
Any other huntsman would definitely had fallen or died from bloodlost.
But yet Ruby kept fighting
She kept swinging her scythe to block the weapon's that Pyrrha was throwing at her.
But she wasn't just blocking them
She was sending them back
Hitting them in just the right way that Pyrrha had to either dodge or make something else intercept it.
And Pyrrha only had so much control over her semblance.
Essentially Ruby was trying to mentally tax her till her semblance breaks
As well as try to get in close to end the fight.
Ruby knew she was in danger she didn't need her bloody scroll blasting an alarm at her to "seek medical attention immediately." She had an Aura booster for that.
But for right now she felt she was on some sort of drug.
It felt like a movie.
Her body reacted she felt she had no control.
Heck she wanted this feeling to last forever
She felt helpless.
She felt…free.
And as free as she felt.
She let her last bit of restraint go
A mental lock Ruby had put on herself for herself as a child when one day in her excitement she slammed into angle

Immediately Ruby groaned but her eyes remained closed.

But the words of "seek medical attention immediately." Kept flashing
Guts looked at Ruby in fear he couldn't lose her not now. Not when she had proven so much.
Guts looked behind him and saw EMT's had arrived with a stretcher.
Guts watched as they loaded Ruby onto a stretcher and carried her out.
Guts was about to follow but Qrow appeared and put a hand on his shoulder
"It's alright she's going to be ok." Qrow said
Guts nodded as now they dealt with the aftermath of the match.
In Ozpin's office after everything was sorted.
Ironwood stood is waiting with his arms crossed while Winter is impatiently pacing about infront of the desk.
After getting a green bull of health from the Doctor Glynda, Guts, Qrow and Ozpin went to visit her while Ironwood and Winter waited in the office trying to think of what to say about what happened before the match.
Suddenly, a smirking Qrow, accompanied by Goodwitch Ozpin and Guts arrive in the elevator.
Winter spun around to glare at them "What were you thinking!?" She asked
Ironwood stepped forward "If you were one of my men, I would have you shot!"
Qrow pulled out flask as they entered the room "If I was one of your men, I'd shoot myself."
"James I told you before why I did it I'm sticking to it." Guts said
"While I wouldn't condone his behavior, or Guts for that either retaliating like you did certainly didn't help the situation." Glynda said
Winter snapped at her "He was drunk!"
Goodwitch rolled her eyes in annoyance as it was nothing new. "He's always drunk!"
The five turn to Qrow to see him drinking from a flask. His eyes widen when he notices them staring, and he holds the flask out to the side, looking at it awkwardly before shrugging.
Ozpin stared at Qrow in shock, then sighs and sits down "Qrow, why are you here?"
Ironwood added to it "You've been out of contact for weeks! You can't just go dark like that in the field!"
Qrow rolled his eyes as he put his flask away "I'm not one of your special operatives, Jimmy!"

"Uncle…Oz is she safe?" Ruby asked
Qrow looked over to Ruby and smiled "she is secure despite how long we were away." He said
Team RWBY and JNPR sighed in relief.
"Wait they know?!" Qrow asked
"A lot more than you. Now we do have two people who are not, now please Shut up Qrow." Ozpin said

Are you willing to do what it takes to help us protect the world." Ozpin said

Ruby smiled as Penny was exuberant with energy as she dashed around saying how she would be the best ever. That she wouldn't question anything. And that she would do everything in her power to protect the people. So much as her robot body would allow.
She then realized she spilled the secret and looked embarrassed "ummm."

"Ok now everyone knows…" General Ironwood corrected himself.

Guts walked forward "Penny's history is complicated but is not the one up for discussion right now." He said

"All in part thanks to Guts and your Nieces." Glynda said
Qrow smiled in praise.
"Our enemy's plan is near completion ." Ruby said
"The attack on Vale was a rushed job because we caught them in time." Weiss said
"There won't be a second chance." Guts said
"When?" Glynda asked
"We don't know." Blake said
"But we believe it will be during the highlights of the tournament." Yang said
"Makes sense everyone will be watching an attack on that which would cause the fall of Vale would definitely have an impact." Qrow said
"And definitely something Salem would be after." Guts said
Qrow looked over to Ozpin
"Just exactly how much do they know?" Qrow asked as he noticed Ruby and the others didn't flinch
"Just assume for now everything." Ozpin said
Qrow nodded and leaned back "very well so where are we?"
"We've narrowed down a school which we believed is compromised and have therefore cut them off of the information." Guts said
"Really who?" Qrow asked
"Leo." Ozpin said
Qrow slammed his fist on the table "Damn it that slimy coward." Qrow said
"We've narrowed down a team too but we are looking for if other teams are in line with them as well." Guts said
"Name the team." Qrow said

The world as a whole is made up of two different plane's the physical world where you and I live. And the astral world where Demons, ghost and monsters live…as well as the gods." Guts said
"I'm sorry what?" Winter asked
"Winter…shut up." Weiss hissed
Winter was shocked that Weiss told her to be quiet but she listened
"I'm not from this world of Remnant. I'm also not from this time. Where I came from was a land broiled in war and had been for over 100 years. There also was no Grimm." Guts said
"How-?" Winter asked but James shook his head
"Instead there were these things called Apostles. And they would tear any Grimm you saw here limb for limb." Guts said
Winter gulped it was just like the time she fought that beast she had summoned against Guts.
"Kinda like?" Winter asked

"Back in my world that was an Apostle. His name was Nosferatu Zodd, the immortal." Guts said

"Being an Apostle gives you unparalleled strength and also technically immortality unless killed with a special weapon they would always return." Guts said
"Well I killed him, he was tough but I killed him. The fact I can summon him. Something I can only do with a creature I've slain in battle is testimony to that." Winter said proudly.
"What you summoned was a mockery of Zodd. I don't know how he died but I know for a fact you wouldn't be alive if you faced the real Zodd. First tell me what color was his skin?" Guts asked
"Skin? It was black and it wasn't skin, it was gooey." Winter said
Guts nodded "Yes I figured. There is a way between the Astral world and my world through the Grimm spawning pools as I believe. However if an Apostle is traveling through them only certain powerful Apostle's can be brought through otherwise lesser Apostle get eaten up by the Grimm energy." Guts said
"The Grimm leech on the apostle?" Qrow asked
"Because they're fighting a two way battle. If I'm fighting they are easier to deal with. Hence why I was able to deal with the first one when we met." Guts said
Qrow nodded
"There's more to it than that but we can explain about that later." Ruby said her head wandering as she snapped her head forward trying to focus.
"If you want to see a real Fight I'll show you but be warned it maybe…graphic…" Guts said as he put his scroll on the table which replaced the hologram of the army with the cam footage of the fight at the dock with Grunbeld.
"Wait that's?" Winter said
Guts nodded "this is the incident that led to Team RWBY joining the brotherhood."
Once it was finished Guts took his scroll away as Winter looked pale.
"That is what I use to face everyday in my travels." Guts said
"And we believe Salem has access to them." Ozpin said
"It's a horror but I don't think so. I believe that The godhand would rather take over humanity than destroy it like Salem wants to." Guts said
"Wait I was there before, why wasn't I invited then?" Penny asked
"Because we couldn't find you." Ruby said
"Had you come with us we would have allowed you in." Guts said
"So Weiss… that manifest you asked of SDC was that?" Winter asked
"This is the school project I was talking about." Weiss said with a nod
Winter nodded
So now everyone is caught up on the situation." Ironwood said
"Yes now we can continue on to the actual meat of the meeting." Guts said
"And that would be?" Ruby asked
"The official acceptance into the brotherhood." Ozpin said
"Correct we have a minimum of 4 members qualified to make decisions." Ironwood said
"The only question is." Glynda said
"Will you fight for us?" Qrow nodded
Guts stepped forward. "You know I will." He said
"We both will we're too deep into it now." Ruby said as she held Guts hand.
"If Ruby is joining you certainly know I will." Yang said
"All of team RWBY are." Weiss said

"So that just leaves…" guts said as everyone starred at Winter

After a few moments Of silence James started to clap. "Well said." He said
"Very." Glynda said as she two was clapping even Ozpin and Qrow Were too. Even winter
"Still Ms Schnee, we need your answer before you leave this room." Ozpin said
"Can't let this information get into the hands of the enemy you understand." Guts said
Winter nodded and sighed
"Ok…I'm in." Winter said
"Yes!" Weiss cheered as Ruby and Yang hugged Weiss
Guts smiled too
Ruby pulled away and spoke "Winter tell me where are the new Paladins?" Ruby asked
This caused Winter to freeze
"How did you-?" She asked
"When Oz said assume they know everything he ment including Atlas information too." James said
Winter nodded " for now they are on my specialist Vessels a Cruiser class ship known as The Vindicator. As of now outside of Vale's airspace to prevent interception the Newest version of the Paladins are being loaded up. Including the new software updates which include User ID as well as Anti hacking parameters." Winter said
"When are they scheduled to be completed?" Ozpin asked
"Unfortunately the work is tedious so we have to do it in batches transfer some onto one ship than to another and so one. It's expected to take at least 3 days." Winter said
"What's the plan after the Paladins have arrived?" Guts asked
"Honestly there isn't one due to the fact we're waiting for the enemy to make a move first." Guts said
"You said they planned to use the Vytal festival, do we have any idea how?" James asked
"No but I think I have an understanding." Guts said
"Because Our opponent hacked into the system from the CCTV." Guts said
"Wait what?!" Winter shrieked thinking they were compromised
"The virus has been flushed away, no need to worry." James said
"We can assume they might try to hack into the Tournament network and rig the fights." Guts said
"But that's…" Pyrrha said
"Entirely possible seeing as it's connected to Beacon now." Ozpin said
"Do we have access to who the hackers scroll is?" Winter asked
"A student apparently from Leo lionheart's school. Cinder fall." Guts said
"What do you mean apparently?" Winter asked
"The transcripts are forged. But are done incredibly well." Guts said
"They nearly passed my light." Glynda said
"Which means." Ozpin said
"Leo is aiding the enemy." Qrow said
"What about the rest of the team?" James said
"Same thing." Guts said
"We believe she's the one who hacked the tower. As well as the one who took the maidens powers." Guts said
"And is working with Torchwick." Ruby said
"Was working with Torchwick." James said Making everyone pause
"Pardon?" Qrow asked
"Torchwick's a turncoat. He's with us now so long as we give him custody he's willing to not go along with Cinders plans." James said
"Damn how did that happen?" Guts asked shocked
"Apparently it's thanks to you Blackswordsmen." James said
Winter stared at Guts
"That's you?" She asked
"It is my moniker." Guts said with a shrug
"Holy shit you've got legends even older than myths! The fucking wizard and the seasons are younger than your myths!" Winter said
"I have to argue that, as I was there when the seasons passed, the Legends of the Blackswordsmen wasn't around at that time but it was close." Ozpin said
"Wha-?" Winter asked
"He's the wizard." Guts said
"But that doesn't make any sense. How can I have legend's here if I only came here this year." Guts asked he looked to Qrow who shrugged
"I have to admit kid it's something that bungled me too I went searching for your legend thinking it was someone else but no it's definitely you. Tragic backstory and all even right down to the sword and missing arm." Qrow said
Guts sighed and gripped his face "fuck that only means one thing." He said
"What?" Ruby asked
"The godhand is fucking with me." Guts said with a Hand in his face.
"Hold on what did Ms Rose mean about the Apostle's coming into Remnant wasn't that simple." Winter asked
"During the Break before the tournament I went home to patch for two weeks.
The plan was to get some training done and I surely got that in spades.
As for myself I hunted an Apostle Single handedly Ozpin you know this." Ruby said
Ozpin nodded Grimm.
"But there's more to it than that…it's time I told you all what I found out…what happens when a silver eyed warrior faces a Grimm Apostle." Ruby said
(Cinders dorm)
"And your sure?" Cinder asked a
"Spikey hair used a big ass sword and smelled like my father after a long day. It was him." Mercury said
"So what do we do?" Emerald asked
Cinder smiled "nothing they have no idea who we are so we have no reason to worry?
Besides most of the heavy lifting has been done thanks to our clever little firend." Cinder said as she pulled out a black scroll
"Don't you think it was compromised after all you were caught?" Emerald asked
"Please Watts wouldn't ever let himself be caught that easily. Go to your rooms I'll sort everything out for tomorrow." Cinder said
"Let's see how the best of the best goes up against…" cinder said as she scrolled between teams of 2 and landed on Emerald and Mercury and Coco and Yatsuhashi.

Ruby and her team Left Ozpin's office Ruby swaying
"Ruby? are you ok?" Weiss asked
"Yeah."
"No." Both herself and Guts said
Ruby looked at Guts
"I'm fine." She argued
"I can tell exactly how close to death doorstep your at. I don't care if I have to carry you. You are in fact sleeping in the medical wing tonight." Guts said
Ruby huffed "but it's lonely there."
Guts smiled "I'll keep you company." He said
Ruby rolled her eyes "you know at midnight I'm going to be as good as new anyways why do I need to go there." Ruby said
Guts smiled at Ruby's antics "Because you did the same to me." He said
Ruby jaw dropped as Yang Blake and Weiss Chuckled
Ruby crossed her arms and looked away "no fair!" She said
Guts smiled "it's perfectly fair now are you going to come with me or do I have to carry you?" Guts said
Ruby turned towards Guts trying to hide her blush.
The elevator opened with Ruby and Guts walking out Ruby looking defeated as Guts waved back to her team "Ruby will see you at breakfast."
Yang nodded and shut the elevator.
Eventually Ruby was less back to her bed with Guts as the visitor. Finally the Nurse left leaving the two teens alone
Ruby was hooked up to an IV and Heart monitor.
"Guts." Ruby said
Guts looked over
"In my pocket." Ruby muttered droozy
Guts nodded and pulled out both her scroll…
And a pink remote.
Ruby nodded "give me my scroll so I can text you.
Take the remote…you won it. Fair and square." Ruby said
Guts smiled
"I almost thought you'd wait till you got out of the hospital before you did something like this." Guts teased
Ruby nodded "I'm too tired now for it but the stupid dildo in myself is trying very hard to get me to do it anyway's." Ruby said
Guts nodded
"I'll take this I won't use it until tomorrow." He said
"In the stands…oh and we are still doing the bets too." Ruby said
Guts nodded and went to kiss Ruby on the nose
She didn't fell it
She was asleep.
(Next day!)
"AND THE randomized has picked the first round of the tournament! WEISS AND YANG FROM TEAM RWBY VS MERCURY AND EMERALD FROM TEAM CMEN!?" Port boomed
Everyone in the audience cheered as Cinder grit her teeth and clenched her fist in her chair. An unforeseen variable.
Emerald glaired at Cinder from the arena 'fuck you and not getting caught'
Cinder glaired back 'just win and it won't be an issue'
