Naraku was finally dead. Kagome was sitting by the Bone Eaters well with Inuyasha right across from her. There was a moment of silence as Kagome and Inuyasha stared into each other's eyes. Finally Inuyasha was able to find a sentence to speak. "Listen, you should go back home, there's really nothing for you to do now." Inuyasha said meaningfully and this time he spoke it from his heart, and not sarcastically. "But if you ever want to come back just take this jewel shard back with you." Inuyasha handed over a shard of the sacred jewel to Kagome and she took it as she jumped down the well.
2 Years Later
Kagome was now 17 years old and in the 11th grade. It's been 2 years since she left the Feudal Era and all of her friends there. Kagome has never returned in fear of no one recognizing her. The jewel shards that were given to her by Inuyasha had never been moved from her bedside. Even though she has never returned to the Feudal Era, Kagome has always dreamed of going back and seeing her friends again.
Miroku and Sango were finally married but that didn't mean that Miroku stopped being so flirty. Since Naraku wasn't around anymore and there was peace, the gang went their separate ways. Kikyo was truly dead (just like Naraku) and Sesshomaru had finally left Inuyasha alone. The sacred jewel or most of it was given to Kaede to be taken care of.
2 Days Later
Sango and Miroku were sitting on the porch of a hut that they were staying at and staring at the stars. "Do you ever think Kagome's ever coming back?" Sango asked obviously missing her best friend. "I sure hope so." Miroku said back.
Meanwhile in a graveyard
A great flash of light exploded and a hand exploded out of the ground and a bit later, a large, evil figure appeared and flew away towards the direction of where Sango and Miroku where.
An Hour Later
The figure landed in front of the hut, which made a big explosion. "Who are you?" Miroku shouted as he pushed Sango back behind him. The figure didn't respond but it responded with trying to attack them so they prepared to fight it back.
