Blue team was hunkered down in the doorway of the base as Separatists came out of the woodwork as the Spec ops team now In Guardsman Armor huddled behind the doorway
{"Where the hell are these guys coming from?!"} Greg asked as he sprayed the hallway.
{"Damn it we're facing the amount of people as a Corp here!"} Elsa said
{"Sir we cannot hold this position like this!"} Romulo yelled
{"I Heard you the first time!"} Ghost said before saying
{"Greenhorn, Greg, hold the line, I'm going to try to figure out an Evac strategy."} Ghost said as he pulled away from the line and back into the building.
{"Pilot is everyone on board yet?"} Ghost asked
{"Yes sir including the last set of Power armor. we were about to take off."} The pilot said
{"Go now keep the cloak on. Come back with an air wing as soon as possible, we'll need air support!"} Ghost said
{"Yes sir."} The pilot said.
In Atlas. James sighed as he looked at a map of the battlefield. A massive pitched battle was there
Suddenly a bell was heard
"Come in." James said
"Suddenly the door opened and a single man walked forward. The single person who started Project SENTINEL and who the project was designed for from the very start. The person James believe would replace him as General Of Atlas. And someone who has reached the highest rank of the military and still remained on the ground as a man of action only because he refused to be given a deck job.
" Good to see you Chief." James said
"I was told you needed me." He said
James smiled "come here."
The two looked over the map. He was stoic and silent as he read the data before he asked Ironwood calmly
"What is believed to be the Allies in the area?"
"Blue team here." James said as he pointed to the outpost.
"Very well. But I go in alone." He said
"I expected as much. Greenhorn is there too." James said
"What of that bastard Marko?" He asked
"You'll get your time, Chief but right now we need you to Secure the research of Project Guardsmen." James said
Suddenly Penny was at the door "Sir Blue team's Manta just returned with the scientists From Outpost 73-BC as well as a Priority One package." She said
"Escort the package and the team down to Floor 13." James said
James looked at the man "Chief officer would you like to follow me?"
The two fell in line as they reached the elevator
As they headed down Chief looked at Ironwood
"What is Project Guardsman?" He asked
"For "lesser" super-soldiers of Project Sentinel. It's battle armor that enhances the users Aura." James said
"For people like you…it turns them into Gods." He said as they reached the floor and stepped out and found the Atlas Scientists already putting the Armor up on a Rack.
"Gentlemen!" James said
The scientist turned in shock as Chief fell in line
"Is the Suit ready?" James asked
"Yes sir we were just about to run diagnostics but we can run them with him in the Suit if needed." The chief scientist said
James nodded "Time's wasting Chief, Atlas is in danger."
The Chief officer stood in the middle as the scientist helped him put the suit on.
"Every piece should fit snug. There is no reason for anything to be out of place." He said
The person looked at the Suit with a grimace "I don't like the color." He said
"The suit is made of a filament coating of particles which when given power can reflect any color in the visible and non-visible spectrum." One scientist said
The chief looked at him as if speaking ancient Vaccoulian.
"He's basically saying you can turn invisible at will and color sir." Another scientist said the chief officer nodded and didn't argue about anything else.
The rest of the Armor slid on. And he looked around through the Armored Glass
"How's the fit?" A scientist asked
"Like a second skin." the Chief said
"Ok I'm turning on the suit it's going to feel a bit stuffy for a second but it will pass." The scientist said as he flipped a breaker switch on a console.
Suddenly the glass in front of him turned blue and loud ringing was heard.
Several pop ups were on the screen which he tried to press with his finger.
"Sir it's Mind to Motion just think of the selection." One of the scientist said
He thought the option and the option was selected.
He felt his body getting tight and itchy as he looked to see the under padding of the suit flexed to meet his exact proportions like in a vacuum chamber.
"Alright suit is calibrated." Someone from the computer said.
"Sir if you can hear me please move your Right arm."
He did so and he felt the suit move the same time his arm did meaning he didn't have to push the suit out of the way or had to do anything against what the machine wanted to do.
"It will take a bit of time to get used to Sir, take it slow." Someone said
After a few minutes the Suit said
{"I'm ready to take my first step."}
"Ok if you say so. Unhook him from the harness." The lead scientist said
"But sir we haven't done anything with Aura registration." Another said
"It's the chief, let's get him used to his new home first before we set him up with the nitty gritty." James Ironwood said as the lead scientist agreed
The chief was lowered and felt himself hit the ground as two arms that were holding his waist let go.
"Now sir, remember it's Mind to Movement. You don't need to fight the machine." He said
"When your ready please step off the platform."
After a few seconds two thumps were heard as he looked down and saw himself off the platform. He didn't even register that he had moved.
Everyone cheered.
"Good to see you Chief!" The people grinned and shook his hand.
Finally they calmed down. "Alright let's get you set up with your Aura. Sir please activate your aura and follow the onscreen prompts. We'll be able to guide you through here if you get stuck."
Chief did so and he suddenly felt lighter. Which was very strange he already felt weightless in the suit now he felt he was flying
{"Fricking trip…"} He said as he reached out to stable himself
"It'll past sir…"
Sure enough it did as he stood there. And followed the prompts.
Finally he was ready
"That's everything." The scientist said
"Very well disconnect him, let him off his leash." James said
Suddenly he felt a pull in his back as a large cable was disconnected
James smiled, "When you're ready, come see me." James said
The Chief officer headed over to him.
James sighed "as your aware Summer Contingency is declared. We need you now more than ever…" James said
Guts swung his sword as he charged down the street killing any Grimm that pushed further into the city.
Guts growled 'damn it there leading me away from them'
Guts turned the corner and found himself face to face with Blake, Yang, Pietro and Maria
"Guts!" Yang called
"Is everyone Alright?" Guts asked
Blake nodded
Guts sighed "pietro im sorry they've overrun your shop here in mantle were to get you to atlas as soon as possible." Guts said
"Then let's not waste time dilly dallying let's go!" Maria said as she jogged off.
Yang and Blake looked at each other
"Maria you do know there's a manta right here we can take right?" Yang asked pointing at the Manta they had used before to land in Atlas the first time to avoid patrols.
Maria sighed "oh right forgot I parked it there." She said as they all headed into the manta and flew off.
James sighed. He had gotten word that everything was a mess. With Summer Contingency declared the only positive thing that occurred is that citizen of Mantle and Atlas are fighting together for the good of the city.
James slammed his arm onto the deck.
"We can't hold up our forces like this forever." He said
Finally he got a call on the radio.
"General we've got an unregistered flight heading outbound to Mantle do we have green light to fire?"
An air traffic control personnel said
"What's the flight FID?" James asked
"Flight core 117." The women said
James let out a sigh "let it go." He said
"Sir?!" The women asked
"Hold your fire…the hero of Atlas has arrived." James said
In the city of Atlas, Ruby grit her teeth as she looked at the rubble "Damn it this shit isn't moving either!" She hissed
"I can perhaps get over it and see what I can do on the other side!" Flora said
Ruby huffed "fine but be careful. We have no idea what we're dealing with"
On the other side the Ace ops and Qrow were in the thick of it as Sepratists charged at them from all over
Qrow cut them down
"Damn they just keep on coming!" He hissed
One Sepratists charged head first at Qrow and took a swing to which Qrow slashed down pinning his weapon in the ground as Qrow raised his fist and punched his lights out.
Clover this is bad I don't know how much longer we can hold this street!?" Qrow said
Clover smiled "just got to have luck my friend." He said as he thumbed his four Leaf clover on his lapel before tossing his fishing rod into the air, hooking not the corner of the building and flying off.
Qrow huffed "Heh luck." He said he turned around as a Beowolf lunged at him which he cut apart.
The rest of the Ace ops were holding there own but barely
"Harriet report!" Clover asked
"There attacking us from all sides we can't move halfway to the next block without an ambush or them from the woodworks!" Harriet said
"Just keep going! They're attacking us for a reason. I want to know why?!" Clover asked
Qrow sighed "knowing me it's my luck." He said
Clover shook his head, "why are you just full of bad luck?" He asked
"It's my semblance." Qrow said
Clover smerked "funny…my semblance is good luck…" he said as he winked at qrow.
Qrow looked shocked 'so that's why he wanted me here…he's a counterbalance…' he thought, as He watched Clover swing around killing Grimm

Watts coughed as a dusty bag was lifted from his face he was tied to a chair he sat alone in a dark room standing before him was Marko. As he tossed the bag that was just around his head on the ground and went around and across from Watts was Hazel.
"Hazel!" Arthur said
Hazel looked at Arthur with a glare he has a black eye and blood dripping off his face.
"What have you done to him?" Arthur asked
Marko squatted down
"Only the same thing you've done to me…" he said as he went to walk away.
"Please I'm only trying to help!" Arthur said
Marko walked to the door
"The best way you can help is to die old man." He said
"I was a genius when it came to the project it was James that bastardized the vision!" Arthur ranted only for Marko to slap him
"No! NO you had a vision and Ironwood changed it for the people putting us through hell! But you did nothing for us! You didn't fight for us! You did nothing but got money out of it!" Marko said
"That would have killed me!" Arthur said
"Several other scientists did it anyway for us! But none of them were you…the one who we looked up as our father…" Marko said
Marko turned to Hazel
"I don't know what he told you about his past but if I know him he probably drained himself as the good guy betrayed by James over his honest vision of the future. But he's just as scummy as Ironwood deep down." Marko said
"He…he never spoke of you at all…" Hazel admitted
"What?!" Marko roared as he spun around
"Not even admitting up to your own failures?! Are you that low yo think of us as nothing that you pulled out all that you've done for us like we were ants on your shoe?!" Or are you haunted that you've done so much horrid shit that you barely want to admit that your experiments on Child Soldiers caused mass-genocide that you've hid from even yourself." Marko said
"What?" Hazel growled
"Hazel…" Watts said trying to defend himself
"TELL HIM!" Marko roared
Watts sighed
"2 years before I was caught by the Grimm. Project SENTINEL was sent out as we got rumors of White Fang vandalizing locals in Mantle." He said
Marko took over
"Turns out they were not white fang…but they were faunas children. Starved. Stealing food for their own survival." Marko said as he glaired at him.
"We tried to send word to command to give us food aid. But we were denied…do you remember Watts? After all you were the Radio operator that day? Do you remember what you said?" Marko asked before he stated word for word
"Cleanse the ground in flame. the ground fertile with there corpse and allow the rise of the better race, no one will cry over them…the scum of this land." Marko recited
There was a snap as Watts and Marko looked back to see Hazel standing up his Handcuffs broken he looked livid
"Don't trust your "friend." He's friends to no one but himself." Marko warned
Hazel growled at him. "Why did you come back here?" Hazel asked
"I…" Arthur looked down.
Marko scoffed "it doesn't matter to him…he's just in it for himself." He said he turned to Hazel
"You however aren't like him, tell me why did you follow him?" He asked
"We…work for someone…someone who has much to gain from the downfall of atlas." Hazel said
Marko scoffed "well you won't get our help. The Separatists movement isn't a movement that is bought and sold." Marko scoffed as he sat down putting a foot up on the table
"But your after the death of Ironwood right?" Arthur asked
Marko laughed "ha! Only because we believed James had a hand in your escape." He said
"Escape?" Hazel asked
"After numerous atrocities committed by what would be called SENTINEL I, under the guidance of Arthur Watts. James decided to run for General, and head of Atlas altogether. But first he needed to make sure no one could tell of the Atrocities he ordered to make Atlas better." Marko said
"One of them was Arthur Watts himself. And SENTINEL I, was tasked to bring him in. It was a success. Caught him within the hour. And had him transported to Atlas right to James.
And then the Grimm attacked.
Suddenly our ship had its entire door ripped off and a Nevermore swooped in grabbed Watts and left. Never once did the Grimm defenses of the city fire a shot. Had they done so he would have never escaped. We thought it was far too conquencidental to not be linked. James wasn't even upset… we had believed he had a hand in his escape." Marko walked forward
"Now I see I was wrong. You didn't escape with The General's help…I wonder what he would do when he finds out we have you…" Marko said
Suddenly a chill filled the air, and the door opened, well opened is a bit misleading
It's more like the matter of the Door warped around the occupant trying to pass through it and warped back around it to keep the solid object. As Femto entered the room.
"Who are you?" Both Marko and Hazel asked
Watts looked terrified as he recognized the same person who was on his ship when he entered Atlas.
"I'm a…mutual friend…of the Cause." He said
Marko grit his teeth "and why are you here?" He asked
"Well…that's a simple cause… to ensure the Downfall of Atlas…which everyone of us here has a role to play in for your dream." Femto said
Marko grit his teeth and pointed to The person
"DON'T YOU DARE THINK FOR EVEN A SECOND YOU UNDERSTAND WHY I FIGHT!?" He said
Femto glaired at Marko as he was in deep thought,
'That Will…the rage…it's so similar…' Femto thought to himself as he recognized Guts,
Femto smiled. 'This will be very easy.'
"Oh I understand very well…your alone. Hurting, in pain as the one who betrayed you and caused you to feel this way, is right here…yet you can do nothing but watch helplessly as they avoid all consequences of their actions…and you take the fall." Femto said
Marko was stunned,
"H-how do you know of my past?" He asked
Femto sighed "I…may have had the same experiences." He said
"Truly…interesting…" Arthur said
Marko spun around and slapped him.
Femto got there attention again,
"Listen, we only have ourselves to rely on, you cannot bicker and squander this opportunity now." Femto said
Hazel growled. "He's right, we only have a few plays left before Atlas is completely sealed to us." He said
"Marko laughed "you maybe, but I'm ready now to move in, and take over the city within hours." He said
Arthur coughed "Impossible." He said
Marko turned to him, "Project SENTINEL has moved on without you, to the point where they've already adapted a new version on power armor from your notes." He said
"What!? But those were only theoretical!?" He said
"Atlas is always in the state of improving. If they are successful they can arm the correct people to the point where they can kill Gods." Marko said
Hazel stood up "we need to prevent them from getting this technology at all cost." He said
"What do you think my troops have been doing?" Marko asked
Suddenly the door opened and the 3 looked to the door.
"Sir…um word from the field…the ummm." The messenger said
"Spit it out," Marko said
"Sir we've gotten reports that the Outpost 73-BC has gone dark. And a few minutes ago there was an explosion, there's nothing left, none of our forces were able to get the information of the place, as well as from reports 8 armored Figures had slaughtered the invasion force. Deployed there." He said
Marko froze Stunned "Impossible." He said as he moved out the door, "let me see!" He said
Femto rubbed his chin, trying to process this information.
Guts, Yang, Blake, Maria and Pietro were heading to Atlas in there Manta with, Ruby, and the happy huntresses in another, with the Ace ops flying back in a third. They landed on the pad at the same time,
"Ruby!" Yang called, Ruby smiled and headed over,
"It's good that Your all safe," Ruby said
"Yes very much so." Clover said
"Well I for one never thought we'd be back in Atlas again." Robyn said
"Hood." Clover glaired
"Ebi." Robyn glared at him
"Easy easy settle down." Ruby said getting in between the two,
"I'd never thought you'd show your face again after you betrayed your country." He said
"Whoa Clover…" Qrow said as he stepped forward trying to keep him calm but Clover threw him off, as he marched forward.
"I should report you to General Ironwood so he can have a talk to you himself." He said
Robyn smiled "funny it would cut out a lot of bullshit seeing as we wanted to have a talk with the General ourselves." She said
"ENOUGH!" Ruby yelled.
Every was quiet as Ruby never snapped like that, she gripped her head with her hand trying to stop an oncoming headache,
Guts stepped forward. "You ok love?" He asked
Ruby smiled at Guts, "I'm fine…let's…let's get inside." She said
Qrow patted Clover on the shoulder, "look everything is going to be ok. We're here to watch them." He said
Clover scoffed but walked with him, "yea, a good future in the hands of the next generation." He said
Qrow chuckled "once upon a time I'd have drank to that." Qrow said
" You shouldn't do that?" Clover said
Qrow shook his head "I don't, not anymore." He said
Clover shook his head "I ment deflect a compliment. They'd not be here if it wasn't for you." He said
Qrow schoffed "nah more like we'd not be here if it wasn't for Guts, seriously. Have you seen him?" Qrow asked
Clover looked back at Guts who was laughing with Ruby
"He is something else." He said
Suddenly they stopped as they turned around and found General Ironwood, standing over them Blue team Flanking him.
"Guts we've gotten word of several of your kind in Mantle, I'm sorry to bother you but I'd have to ask you to deal with them." He said
Guts nodded "no big deal General. I'm on my way." He said
RWBY and JNPR turned to follow him,
The Ace-Ops and Happy huntresses went to Question them but James cut them off, "don't bother, only they can do it." He said as he looked to see Robyn staring at him.
"Come to explode at me again for the terror I pose to Atlas Robyn?" James asked although not belittling her but more sadly.
Robyn shook her head, "no. Ms Rose told me of the true actions that have happened and we've also heard you declare Summer Contingency. We're here to help." She said
James smiled "we're happy to have you back." He said
Clover was shocked "Wait, the Summer Contingency was declared!?" He asked
James nodded " once you Exfilled. It was declared. Outpost 73-BC was lost to all hands as the official story goes." James said
"Officially?" Robyn said
"I don't want too much panic spreading over how outclassed the Atlas Military is, even if we might have discovered the Golden bullet." James said
Suddenly behind him Ghost in his Guardsmen Armor appered.
"Robyn hood. Tell me are you willing to stake your lives to defend Atlas and Mantle citizens?" James asked
"Yes sir." Robyn said
"Are you willing to die in the shadows to help us end a war As old as Civilization itself?" Qrow asked stepping forward.
Robyn faltered
"I…" she steeled herself "yes." She said
James smiled. "Very well, your team being the top of your class. Already qualify to be apart of this program, Welcome. To Project SENTINEL." James said
(Guts)
Guts, and teams JNPR, amd RBY we're on a Manta heading out to Mantle.
"So should we consider this as about the same threat level as the Nuckalavee?" Jaune asked Guts.
Guts nodded.
"This isn't a normal Huntsmen mission, these monsters are like the Grimm, but have enough power to bring down a local village all by themselves. You've seen it yourself." Guts said
Nora and Ren looked at each other "yea…but the one that attacked Kirouyuri wasn't an apostle." She said
"True but you've faced the powered up version." He said
"What type of Apostle are we dealing with here anyway?" Blake asked as she checked her load out as did everyone else
"I don't know it could be a slug, or perhaps an archer on a centaur-."
Guts was cut off by a loud roar. Which made his blood run cold.
"Oh shit no." He said as he touched his brand and sure enough it was bleeding
"What?" Yang asked as she watched Guts walk to the cockpit and a shadow flew over with massive wings, which nearly sent Guts to his knees,
"Guts!" Ruby called
"Change of plans! Once I bail you make your way to the Schnee manor." He said
"Yea um kinda one problem." Yang said pointing ahead,
"The apostle is heading right for it." She said
"What's wrong, who is it?" Pyrrha asked
"It's Zodd himself…" Guts said
"Well okay you've dealt with a Grimm version of Zodd before." Ruby said
Guts however turned to her, "Ruby…it's Zodd." Guts said
Ruby ran next to him.
And sure enough it was Zodd the immortal, flying towards Schnee manor but not a trace of Grimm on him.
He roared again,
Guts grit his teeth,
"See if you can't pass him!" He yelled at the pilot,
"I'm pushing this bird as fast as it can go." The pilot said
Guts growled.
"Damn it." He said he turned to the girls
"You need to go and Get both Winter and Weiss out of the manor,I'll keep Zodds' attention." Guts said
"Alone?" Yang asked
Guts looked at her, "this isn't a Grimm Apostle it's a full blown one, even worse is the fact he has no exploitable weakness." Guts said.
"Wait full Apostle. Like Grunbeld!?" Blake gasped,
Guts nodded.
Ruby stared at him, "let it be known I don't like this plan but I'll follow it." She said
Guts nodded
"Don't worry I'm just trying to get his attention away from Weiss and Winter so you can get them out of there I'll be right along." Guts said
The others nodded as Guts headed to the door of the Manta and opened it he leveled his arm cannon out and fired.
He hit Zodd in the wing as the others Cheered
"You got him!"
Zodd started to fall until he spun around and looked at them
Guts yelled at the pilot,
"DIVE TOWARDS HIM, ONCE IM OUT GET THE HELL TO THE MANOR!" He yelled
The pilot went to Argue but with everyone shaking their heads he reluctantly agreed, as the Manta went into a dive towards Zodd
On the ground Zodd watched as the Ship came towards him he snarled. Only to notice a black cloak billowing out of it,
Zodd relaxed and waited,
As the Manta flew over him Guts hopped out using the moving vehicle's sped to accelerate his strike as he swung with Dragonslayer.
Zodd was able to jump away,
"Of course we meet again." Zodd said
"Why are you heading to that Manor!?" Guts growled
"Nothing for any nefarious purposes. I was heading for the mountains, to make a camp for myself. But what about you?" Zodd asked
"Ironically it was to hunt you, you've wiped out a few villages and I was sent to investigate." Guts said
Zodd shook his head "I have done no such thing, I flew over a few sure. But no one looked strong enough to give me the fight I crave, unlike you." He said
Guts growled
"BAST BLACKSWORDSMEN THIS FIGHT OF OURS WILL GO DOWN IN LEGENDS AS THE GREATEST BATTLE OF ALL TIME!" Zodd roared as he charged, before he changed into Human form and swung with his sword. Guts blocked the strike and went flying by his power alone,
(Ruby)
Everyone watched as Guts stayed behind to fight Zodd, as they watched him go flying,
"Oh man!" Yang said seeing Guts go flying
"There's no way we can do anything to Zodd now. We need to get Weiss and Winter and get out of here." Ruby said
"Oh shit, Ruby look!" Jaune pointed ahead
Ruby's eyes widened as More Grimm Apostles were patrolling the outside of the Manor.
"Oh no…" she said
"We need to make sure Weiss and Winter are safe." Ruby said before splitting up roles,
"Blake Ren, you head inside and get the two of them out, Jaune, Pyrrha, you along with Me and Yang will get there attention. Nora you will deal the finishing blow if we get in a pickle." Ruby said
Nora nodded
Is everyone ready?" Ruby asked
"I sure hope so because we've been spotted!" The pilot said as several of the Grimm apostles started shooting stuff at them.
"Damn it bank!" Ruby said
However unfortunately one of the attacks hit the engine
"BRACE!" Ruby roared as the Manta Pulled up "everyone out I'll handle this on my own." The pilot said as the Teams dropped from the air.
(Weiss)
Inside her Fathers office Weiss was looking at the computer when she heard the crash, she looked up she growled
"Guards give me an update as to what's happening outside." She said
Only to be met with no response.
"Guards!" She said before she sighed and contacted Winter,
"Winter."
"Yes Weiss?" Winter said
"Can you check outside and see what has happened to the Bodyguard there not responding to my orders." She said
Winter stormed down the hall and was about to kicked up the main entrance only to find a Beowulf in a fight with a much larger Grimm, as it cut it apart in one slice, and only one thing she knew had enough power like that,
"Apostle's!" Winter called as she ran up the staired
Weiss was at her fathers study when she heard her sister Yell,
Weiss dropped everything she was doing and drew her Rapier. As Winter ran in,
"Weiss there's over 1000 of them out there!" She said
"How the hell were we caught off guard like this?" Weiss asked
Winter shook her head "I don't know."
"Weiss sighed "it doesn't matter we're fighting for our lives here." She said,
As both Sisters drew their weapons, and got ready to fight their way out.
(Watts)
With the news that their Raid on Project Guardsmen was a failure, Marko had reluctantly released Arthur from his bonds, although he didn't count himself lucky as Hazel was. Already angry at him for his atrocities. It was clearly only because of Femto that he was alive.
Now they had been moved to a secret base where they could conduct their operations from.
Watts slumped over his computer as he read all he could on Project Guardsmen,
Marko walked over. "Well anything?" He asked
Watts huffed "not a word, I'm looking at all the stuff I have access to and who ever wants this private wants it kept that way badly. Layers upon layers of black ink." Watts said
"You mean?" He asked
Watts nodded "everytime I input a password that allows me access only one layer of black ink in removed, I can guess several of the passwords, but without context clues I'm only getting snippets." He said
"So you can't reverse Engineer anything." Marko said
"Not unless you can give me access to one of those suits." Watts said
Marko shook his head "afraid not, the Last one was given to the Master officer." Marko said
Watts huffed
"The more I look into this the more I'm starting to believe only a full blown invasion will be enough to possibly crack Atlas." He said
Marko turned away, "well good news is We've gotten our response from the Black fang. They are willing to come and aid us." He said
Watts sighed
"At least there's a positive for us." He said
Marko sighed "however there's also bad news…a lot of it." He said
"Why?" Watts turned around,
"We've lost funding from our biggest backer when they were sent to prison, we're planning a raid to get him out and I want you on the team that does it." Marko said
"Who is it?" Watts asked
"Jacques Schnee." Marko said
Watts hissed "motherfucker…" he said

Guts slid across the snow as he leveled Dragonslayer out, Zodd appered infront of him swinging at him, Guts ducked and dodged out the way, and Swung Dragonslayer as hard as he could. But Zodd parried it,
"Yes. This is the battles I've waited for. Clearly you have not disappointed." Zodd roared.
(Ruby)
Team Rwby and JNPR forces there way up to the gates, as Ruby and the others were cutting through the Grimm apostles as if they were nothing,
"Hey is it just me or are these fights more easier than normal?" Jaune asked
"Ask that later buy Team RWBY ENOUGH TIME TO EXFIL!" Pyrrha said as she fired several rounds into a basic Grimm Apostles, which was unaffected amd turned towards her,
"Damn it." Pyrrha hissed as the Grimm charged at her,
Pyrrha jumped away but the Grimm had caught up grabbing her leg and sending her flying crashing into the wall
"Pyrrha!" Jaune roared
The apostles roared in there faces.
Jaune snarled and charged forward and swinging his great sword shield, cleaved the Grimm in two.

Team Rwby got into the manor and reached the hallway with Weiss and Winter,
"Weiss your ok!" Ruby said
"Ruby!?" Weiss called as they embraced and pulled back

"We're getting out of here that's what come on." Yang said as they ran back to the Ship.
"Ruby what's going on why are you here?" Weiss asked
Ruby sighed " just dumb luck honestly but it's time to get you back on the team your needed out here."

Marko, Hazel, Watts, and several other members of the Separatists stood in a briefing room, Marko was up in front of a projector.
"Alright here's the Deal we're on the back foot here, we're running out of funds fast, we need to get some soon otherwise we will go bankrupt and we won't be able to give Atlas the kicking they deserve," he said
"Do we have any idea as to who we will be busting out?" Someone asked
"We're busting out our most important important funder, Jacques Schnee." Marko said as his portrait appears on the Screen.
"Wait the biggest celebrity in the world now a wanted fugitive. And you want us to break him out?" Someone said
"Marko glaired at them "is that a problem?"
The man scoffed "not a problem just suicidal."
"What's the plan?" Hazel asked
Marko turned to the board "two teams team one will distract the security while the infiltration team sneaks in and once they are ready team one will cause a panic while team two grabs the package and exfils." Marko said
"Sounds simple." Hazel said
"Too simple. What's going to prevent us from getting caught?" Watts asked
"You." Marko said to Watts

Weiss started "sir I've transferred all the files from my scroll to Winter. We've locked Jacques out of the bank account and black listed his computer." She said
James smiled as he turned to The Ace-ops.
"While not completely finished, the Separatists. Are clearly on the Blackfoot so much so Normal Atleasin patrols are catching there attempts to hide in the crowds and deliver messages to one another." Clover said
James turned to Ruby
"It appears the Apostle you sent us after was Zodd himself Guts faced against him alone while we got Weiss. Her manor was swarming with Apostle Grimm." Ruby said
James frowned but nodded
Before turning to Blue team.
"We were able to Scramble Outpost 73-BC before any Separatists were able to get their hands on any part of Project Guardsman." Ghost said
James nodded
"It appears everything is going right for now." James said as he pulled up his scroll.
"I've just received word that The Archaic Laws about devorce have been repealed and Fria and Pietro are in lines to get married this weekend." James said
Everyone smiled at the happy couple.
James smiled "yes…and with Atlas medicine while we cannot completely get rid of her illness we can however mitigate it and allow them to have something of a stable life." James said
Onto other things. Ghost…as you know I'm promoting you to Head of the Black array. Your new codename will be Erwin Holland." James said
Ghost stepped forward and saluted "it's been an honor sir!" He said
James nodded "like wise." Before he addressed the rest of the group
"Blue team still has a missing member however that has been solved. Blue team please meet your new commander." James said as he turned
And striding out in Black armor was a man simpler to ghost but stood 2 feet higher than his 6ft frame. James stood up
"Master officer!" James said
"Sir." He said
James turned back to blue team. "This is everyone."

Blue team nodded and headed out.
"Ghost. As of now I'm officially retiring your Guardsman armor it will be located in your office for easy access incase of an attack." James said
Ghost nodded.
James turned to the rest of them
"With that our business is finished for today. This weekend we have Pietro's wedding. Then I'm officially stepping down as Holland and giving the reins to Ghost. The Black Array will be his official Army for him to handle." James said
Ruby and the others watched as Blue team minus Ghost went through Training with The Master officer.
Simply put he kicked their asses Vierty and Greg was either too hot headed and too suppressing.
Elsa was too reserved and barking out orders.
Romulo was a good sniper but it didn't matter as he was too far moving.
And Greenhorn…wait where was Greenhorn
Above him in the rafters of the ceiling Greenhorn was perched with his knife out. As the Master officer flipped Verity away, Greenhorn jumped down and went to stab The master officer in the back.
The fact it succeeded meant a lot to the master officer as it was the first time sense basic training he had been ambushed.
The master officer spun around as Greenhorn flipped his knife in his hand and thrusted to his head trying to crack the glass of the helmet.
The master officer slapped his hand away and with a blurring of speed snapped his flattened hand to Greenhorns neck
However Greenhorn leaned under it and it passed over him Effortlessly. As he struck out at him with a kick
However the master Officer grabbed his leg and spun him around making him eat dirt.
However greenhorn did a push-up into a burpee which made him avoid his opponents next strike which was him trying to stomp onto the back of his legs
Already the others of Project SENTINEL were impressed. With Greenhorn but as the fight went on they actually understood how outclassed they were.
Greenhorn, after all was a guy who destroyed an entire city by himself in a single night.
And it's believed all of the mythical Exploited Greenhorn could do The Master officer could do before he was Augmented and given Guardsman armor.
The two Super soldiers were a blur of motion as each one hit like a semi truck but still tanked hits from the other.
Finally The Master officer pinned Greenhorn down as he drew his gun to point it at him. The master officer felt a knife blade tap against the Chestplate of his Guardsmen Armor right where his heart was.
The duel was a draw.
The master officer stood up and holstered his Gun before he helped up Greenhorn
"Good skills. I'm glad your on the team." He said
Greenhorn nodded "yea…they were not kidding about your exploits. Chief." Greenhorn said as he walked back
The Master officer looked around.
"Alright listen up, I've heard that Blue team is considered the best of the best of the SENTINEL'S. And i'm here to say. You've not only marked that milestone but surpassed it. It will be my honor to serve with each and every one of you." He said
James and the others smiled.
"Very good, very good. I feel safe to say that we now can have the time to relax. Let us enjoy each others company. And the spirit that is prevailed within us." James said.
The group smiled as they made their way to the hospital wing of Atlas. There They saw Winter was sitting next to his Fria. And Pietro was next to her.
They stood off to the side as a pastor came in
"I um usally don't do these kind of services but so I've been told it's rather an important one. So we shall commence.
"Do you Fria Ironwood take Pietro Pollindena to be your lawful husband unto death of the god of darkness?" The pastor asked
"I do" Fria said
"And do you Pietro take Fria to be your lawful wife till the end of days and the fading of the Gods bright flame?" He asked
"I do." Pietro said
"Then I declare thee lawfully bound and married until such time. You may kiss the bride." He said
As the two kissed the people shared a respectful clap to one the two.
While this was happening they didn't notice on the screen a red flashing blip indicating several security monitors had gone down…

Time: [two days after the Wedding]
Ghost walked onto the bridge of the ship and found the crew working hard to get the ship in order.
"Commander on the bridge!" A deckhand said as everyone snapped up
"At ease." Ghost said as he looked around
"What's the ETA of first Launch?" He asked
"We're doing final checklist now. We should be in the air in 30 minutes." A deckhand said
Within that timeframe they were in the sky and ATT: Steel reached the same altitude as the ATT: Vindicator
Ghost looks around "give me IFD readings for every ship in the fleet I want to know if they are or not apart of The Black Array.
Suddenly the screen lit up and many many ships either had a black dot or a blue dot attached to there Ship ID number.
Ghost sighed
"I'll be in my office Captain, you have the bridge." Ghost said as he walked off.
In his office Ghost makes a secure call to James Ironwood
"Holland…it's good to have a word from you." James said
"As it is James. The Black Array is ready. To mobilize." He said
James nodded "very well. Be aware from time to time I will be having to take assets away you understand." James said
Holland nodded "I do sir, it's war after all." He said
"Do you have any idea what your first plan is?" James asked
I do Sir, reclaim who have since been declared MIA." Holland Said
James sighed "any idea who it could be?" He asked
"Who else General, We cannot let them get back under control, especially seeing as they might have funding again." Ghost said
"What units do you think you'll need? Team RWBY Guts?" James asked
"Negative, I don't want to rely much on Hero's. General. The plan is to send Blue Team in, if they can't get it done…no one can." Holland said
James nodded "fine…I disagree with the use of Blue Team in the first response role. But I understand you trust in the team… James out." He said

Ironwood smiles in amusement from Winter's response, and the two head to the front door of the courtroom,
The security guard sighed as he heard the metal detector go off.
"Please place all weapons on the tray and step through again please." He said
Again the buzzer went off,
"Sir I must ask you to-UGH G-General ironwood!" The guard asked

The guard nodded "yes sir please step through while I recalibrate the system if anyone has metal prosthetics please step by now." He said
Guts walked over and deposited his arm on the tray and walked through,
"Your arm sir." The guard said as Guts took the arm and he attached it,
"Eventually everyone was able to get to the courtroom, or what was considered a courtroom as members of the Atlas Council awaited their arrival. Two men were Arguing,
The room was much like a normal meeting room table. And not like any actual courtroom.
"The fact he's a known fugitive doesn't give a damn he's entitled to his money!" Someone ranted,
"That money has been made by illegal means and he won't see a single cent of it!" Another lawyer said
"Gentlemen, please." One of the council members said
The two lawyers turned back to see General Ironwood and his Entourage walk in
Ironwood nodded to the two councilors "Councilman Sleet, Councilwoman Camilla."
Ironwood takes a seat at the end of the table.
Robyn smiled "Councilwoman Hill would have had a nice ring to it. Though I suppose I should just be grateful I got invited to the table." She muttered to herself.
Councilman Sleet glaired at the rest of them "What are they doing here?" He asked
"What we're all doing here, Sleet, is addressing the concerns of the Kingdom, which means we have much to discuss." James said
Councilwoman Camilla nodded "yes yes, especially your justification of calling for a Summer Contingency without any proper paper work from the rest of her council!" She said as she slammed her fist on the table.
Sleet looked at James "The fact of the matter is, you've operated with a fair amount of autonomy for the past few years, James. But what we need now is for you to work with us." He said
"And I am trying." James said
Camilla spoke up again "trying implies you maintain proper communication with us General…since when have any of your communications not been direct orders for your military to get involved?" She asked as she let the question hung in the air. Before she spoke again
"It's obvious that no kingdom intends to declare war on Atlas. We had no involvement in the incident at Haven, we have proof our drones weren't acting on orders at Beacon. At this point, the closure of Atlas borders is only serving to hurt our relations with the rest of the world."
"The rest of the world? It's hurting us. The people of Atlas are suffering and they want to know why!" Camilla said
"I've said everything about the crisis when Summer Contingency was declared." James said to defend himself.
"Which you declared illegally!" Sleet said.
General…James…it's just…we're afraid of the ever-growing list of classified information you seem to be keeping as of late." Sleet said
James sighed, "listen you have to understand that the safety of Atlas is my overall goal and the betterment of my people even more so, but to that end discretion is a top priority at this time."
Camilla tilted her head "Are you saying you don't trust us?"
Winter stepped up "You can't just buy trust like everything else, you have to earn it!"
"Forgive me Ms Schnee but once you yourself start giving us the trust we ask for, only then will be start doing the same." She said
Winter stood up "That's not what-."
Ironwood looked at her "Winter."
Winter stops and looks at Ironwood.
Ironwood sighed "That's enough."
Winter, who clenches her fists. And turns away "Excuse me."
Inside the meeting room of the courtroom, the Atlas councilmen continue to talk to James Ironwood.
Camilla sighed "General, since the day you were appointed Headmaster, there have been Atlesians who are skeptical of one man holding two Council seats."
Ironwood nodded "Yes, which is exactly why we have checks and balances."
Sleet leaned forward "We're supposed to, but lately you've been running roughshod all over them, making unilateral decisions without us."
Ironwood looked back "Councilman, I never intended-."
Sleet pointed harshly at James "What people intend and what they do aren't always the same, General."
Camilla turned to Ironwood "I'm not quite done yet Sleet. You're afraid of something, General. Aren't you?"
Ironwood looked to her "I think that's pretty obvious, Councilwoman. I'm trying to prevent Atlas from becoming another Beacon, another Haven.
"Yet, you don't trust us, your own Council to help you? Operating in secret? These are the actions of somebody who's hiding something." Sleet said
Ironwood shook his head "I'm not hiding anything."
"Summer Contingency says otherwise." Sleet countered.
Ironwood sighed and looked over to Oscar, who just nodded to him
"Fine, but what is said here cannot leave this room." General Ironwood said
The two Councilmen looked at each other and at the same time they shut off the recording devices under there chairs.
"What is it General?" Sleet asked
"There is several things, one of which is my intelligence suggest this man here has broken into Atlas and mantle to Cause havoc and eventually bring down Atlas as a whole," James said as he activated the hologram.
Camilla was shocked "Is that... Arthur Watts?"
Sleet stands up.
"That's impossible! Dr. Watts died in the Paladin Incident years ago."
James stepped forward. "That's…what the official story was. However the real story was the fact, that he used the Paladin accident as a way to escape to Mantle and try to flee on the run, we were able to apprehend him and we're about to give him a trial when the ship carrying him was attacked by Grimm which snatched him and flew off." James said
Sleet glared at him "and you didn't tell us!?" He asked
James shrugged "we had assumed the Grimm had killed him it was only until recently that I got the belief that he might possibly be alive." James said
The councilors looked to each other
"We still have several questions including How does a disgraced scientist and disappeared serial killer find each other, General? Why would they target you? And why are you working so hard to hide the massive Military Uptick, and Secret military projects like Project SENTINEL and GUARDSMEN?" Sleet asked
Camilla turned to him as well "And what else are you not telling us?"
Ironwood jumped back surprised "wait You know?"
The councilors looked to each other,
"It's just as you Said General, Checks and balances. We have a back door into every military document sent over CCTV." He said
James sighed as he explained everything.
The group took a bit of time to process the new information.
Sleet sighed "She can control Grimm?"
Camilla shook her head "Ironwood wouldn't lie about something like this."
Sleet looked at her "Do you really think he can stop her?"
Camilla. "Only one way to find out…" she said as they headed back in,
They reconvened as they sat together.
"General Ironwood your no longer under trial. So long as you can accept these terms." Sleet said
James nodded "name them." He said
"One you outline in its entirety your plan to kill Salem. Two you inform the public of the Black Array even if you don't say who is running it or it's exact mission. And three, you step down as the leader of the Black Array," Camilla said
James smiled. "I'm already not in charge of The Black I shall release it's organization to the public. As for my plan to kill Salem. I don't have one, but my friend and trusted advisor does." James said as he turned to Guts,
"I assume you know of who I am?" Guts asked
The councilors nodded.
"I'm not from this world, but the world I was from had its own set of monsters, that could only be killed by a special type of weapon, I weapon I own, it's incredibly dangerous and hard to come by, but I feel it's possible to kill her if I get a good shot at her." Guts said
{flashback end}
James sighed, as he looked out the window now Jacques has escaped and everything is primed to unravel.
He tightened his grip "no Atlas Will not fall." He said
James looked up as everyone entered office
Ruby looked up "you wanted to see us General?" She asked
"Yes. Thank you for coming." James said as he tapped the console.
"Erwin Holland has shared his plan to beat back the Separatists in a 3 fold offensive." He said
The others smiled "fantastic how can we help?" Ruby asked
It was then that James smile fell. "You can't…" he said
Ruby looked appalled just like everyone else.
"I'm sorry what?" Jaune asked
James stood up and looked out the window "I just got off the phone with him. He's planning on only using his assets in The Black Array to deal with the Separatists. Apparently he doesn't want to rely much on "heros." Whatever that means…" James said clearly not agreeing.
The others looked to each other
"So what are we doing then sir?" Clover asked
"Apparently The Black Array has confirmed that The black fang is attempting to join up with the Separatists we need to head them off of this course. Clover. Robyn. Your respective teams with the Help of Qrow will be tasked with this." James said
"Wait but weren't they already together?" Jaune asked
"Apparently not those were only people acting like the Black fang and not the actual black fang unfortunately." James said
The 10 people there nodded to James
James looked to RWBYJNPR and Guts.
"Obviously you've dealt with Supergrimm or apostle Grimm before and with Zodd in Mantle we have to assume at least an invasion in the mists . Maybe even a full task force of Apostle ones at that. I'm sorry I happened to before send you off against Zodd we will be more careful about the intel and only send you off against targets you can handle and are confident at." James said
Yang scoffed "I mean just so long as Guts is with us we can deal with it. If need be he can pull the trigger on the berserker armor and wreck house." Yang said
James nodded "that's reassuring. Still i will do better." He said
"In the meantime I have no assignments on hand so your time is your own
One final question General?" Oscar said stepping forward.
"What about Salem herself?" He asked
James sighed
"It's no doubt that if everything has gone to plan Atlas has closed off its doors to her so her only plan of action now is a full scale invasion of Atlas most likely lead by herself." James said
"However with the Recruitment on the rise, Mantle and Atlas are more unified than ever, which means we're ready for whatever she throws at us." James said
"What about Watts and whoever else is already here?" Jaune asked
"Don't worry. I have a team of independent contractors searching for their whereabouts as we speak. And soon I plan to unveil them together as one." James said
In Mantle a team of Black suited agents went from house to house clearing building peeking around street corners and moving in the shadows.
"You mean…go public about Salem?" Ruby asked
James nodded "that's right perhaps with a unified enemy the entire world can come together and plan out a single idea where we can crush this threat together." James said
The members of RWBY, Qrow, Guts and Oscar looked at each other
"Kinda like how the brothers wanted?" Oscar said
"Pardon?" Clover asked
"We've informed you all about what the lamp showed us right?" Ruby asked
They nodded
"Well when the brothers left they gave Ozma a goal. Unite humanity under a goal by the time the relics come together. And they will judge us. If we are together they will live with us. However if we fail…humanity will be destroyed." Ruby said
James sighed
"So it really is another war with the gods this time." James said
Guts stepped forward "the plan doesn't change. But first we have to deal with Salem. One step at a time." Guts said
James nodded "very well. Again the plan with catching Watts is tricky. He's likely suspected that people are after him." And he's Likely trying to come up with a way to take the staff from Atlas." James said
"How…do you plan on stopping him?" Jaune asked
"We have a target that is more likely to get his attention." James said as he slid his scroll over
"Introduction Project Amity. The idea to turn a symbol of peace into a full blown weapon against the Grimm. With the idea that if dropped on Salems hideout it will destroy her." James said
"But…Salem can't be killed." Pyrrha said
"Yes but Watts doesn't know we know that." James said
"It's a trap…" Qrow said
James nodded "using his own power against him. Watts believes machines are the future. And is willing to do anything to show it. Give him an enticing target for him to hack into. He'll slip the bait." James said
"So the project?" Ren asked
"Doesn't exist. I just asked Penny to forge documents of the plan of turning Amity into a giant bomb then made sure it was able to be easily found by Watts." James said
Guts walked up "when can you expect the snare to have a catch?" He asked
"We're hoping sometime next week or so. We plan to move Amity to overhead Atlas and be protected by the Airfleet to give the impression we're arming it for war. Then on the same time I go live about Salem we showcase the bomb too. Hopefully that will scare them enough to act and fall for our scheme." James said
Guts nodded "solid plan."
"Yea question is when do we move out to get started." Jaune asked
James smiled "as soon as we hear that, Blue team is informed of their mission." He said

Erwin Holland was on Scroll talking to The master officer {"Contact with Visegrad Relay was lost last night. All signals flatlined at twenty-six hundred hours."}
Romulo was sitting outside in Manta passenger cabin, watching as normal Atlas Troops pass by, while placing rounds into a sniper rifle magazine.
Holland spoke again {"I responded with trooper fire teams, which have since been declared MIA."}
The Master officer is shown from behind, watching a holographic computer screen displaying Holland's portrait and other information.
Master officer sighed "And now you're sending us."
Holland nodded over the line {"General Ironwood believes the deployment of a Sentinel team such as Blue team a gross misallocation of valuable resources. I disagree."}
"Anyone claim responsibility, sir?" Master officer said.
HollandCOM: {"We think it might be the local Separatists contacts. Several days ago, the local insurrection pulled an attack on Harmony. Hit a relay to take out our eyes and ears, then stole Jacques Schnee out of Lockup. That along with the fact that just today we got notice of a wire fund from Schnee's bank account transferring money to a known but not seized account linked to a Separatists cell. There getting there funds back, which makes this incident more than just luck, We cannot let them get back under control, we need to find out what their plan is Blue leader, find out where they have Jacques and recapture him, but your main priority is to get that Relay up and running and figure out where Schnee is going."}
"Sir, consider it done." The Master Officer said
{"Then I'll see you on the other side. Holland out."}
The Master Officer put on his helmet as he turned looked to the others around him
{"Pack your gear, let's move."} He said

Two Mantas flew over the ground as they approached there target,
{"I do not trust you. He may but I do not."} Elsa said to The Master officer.

{"We have been a team for a long time, one where we could rely on each other, one where one mistake costed the life of everyone here."} She said
{"Don't get us wrong."} Verity said waving his knife about, making the Master Officer turn
{"It's not the fact we don't trust your skills, it's just the fact when you get so used to a set of teammates, once it's replaced…it's never the same."} He said
The master officer looked at everyone there. {"I understand your fear. That's why we're having this conversation now."} He said
{"No! No- we're here because we are a liability to you, and you want to know if you can trust us, while at the same time, we're thinking the same thing."} Romulo said
{"He's right…"} Greg said as everyone looked over.
{"You and me were both in the same Batch of Sentinel class but that doesn't mean we know each other,"} Greg said
{"You're like Greenhorn, You have the skills to fit into any role you can comfortably, and not hinder anyone in the team, you're flexible like that."} Greg said
{"But Ghost could do that as well as lead…but not once have we ever heard you give us an order."} Elsa said
