Rwby: A Gutsy world

Note this is a chapter I wanted to add to my other Berserk fan fiction but I relized it wouldn't fit so I had to change it. So I added it here. Enjoy.

Chapter 29
The next day after the everyone was well rested they packed their stuff up and headed out.
Jill was walking next to Guts and Ruby on the left and Casca on the right of Guts.
"So where are we off to now?" Jill asked Guts
"Honestly I don't know, all I know is when we confront Femto we will be in a much better situation to do what we need to stop the Godhand." Guts said
(Remnant)
Salem's cathedral.
Those who were at the table sat quietly waiting for the outcome of what would happen.
Salem. Mercury.
With Hazel's death and Emeralds defection. Mercury was the only enforcer left to her. As Arthur Watts had buggered off to Brothers know where. And her other contacts were lost.
Salem grit her teeth at her cathedral. It didn't help that when she had returned she had found her Citadel empty. True to Femto's worse once her connection to life had been cut the Godhand were sent to there own plane.
Salems plan was in shambles.
Everyone was dead or had abandoned her. Her only lifeline was a kid who never got out of his teenage rebellion phase all over a stupid semblance. And from what she last witnessed from one of her Grimm eyes before it was destroyed the Black array. The secret military project that. The insurgents that Marko were trying to stop by destroying Atlas had gained the upper hand. They had started to repel the invasion.
Sure the city was destroyed but it meant Jack shit if the force that was there were able to rebuild.
Now she had a force that might be strong enough to kill her or at least prevent her from getting her plans to kill the gods.
For the first time Salem found herself running out of the one thing she thought she had in spades.
Time…
Mercury had reached the city of Vacoule and to say it was chaos was an understatement.
There was a massive dust storm raging one that has only been seen each century. The last time there was a storm of this size was during the Great War. In fact it was the giant storm then that gave the Vale-Vacuole alliance what they needed to win the final day and end the war.
And apparently this storm had a larger congruent of folklore going back farther to every thousand years.
This story saying that only a "true hero" can venture out into the storm and stop it and the true hero will only be found when he leads the diaspora of kings to the shores of sands." Mercury though it was bullshit but apparently the Last huntsman school put enough stock into it that they were sending Huntsman in droves to find people lost in the sandstorm. Only to be lost themselves.
Oh well less forces to deal with when Salem arrives to quash the resistance.
(In the desert of Vacoule)
Emerald huffed as she covered her mouth with her sleeve.
"Ugh it's no good. The storm is picking up and I can't see a thing?" She said
Winter took a deep breath and tried to activate her semblance to try to block the storm but it wasn't working
" ugh i cant focus with all this storm in the way." she said
"L…let me try…" penny said as she tried to step forward but her legs gave out as pyrrah tried to use her semblance to catch her but because Penny was a real person it failed, while Nora and Jaune who were closer cradled her
Jaune looked up in a panic after laying her down and putting his hand on her forehead
"Guys shes burning up." he said
"The sudden shock of going to a cold climate to a hot climte like this is enough to throw the entire body out of wack. We didnt have time to adust ourselves, normal air travel dose this just fine but because we basically teleported it didn't happen to us." ren said as he looked around to see everyone sweating even himself
"I assume were all in some state of shock or another." he finished
Nora looked back "and the civilians are worse." she said looking back
Orcar startd pacing, being a farmer he was more use to dusty crop fields, but it still irritated him
' damn it think if I don't do something were all gonna die.' he said
"Oscar" Ozma said
Oscar paused 'wait thats right you've been here you can helped up get to the city.' he said mentally
However Ozpin had to burst his bubbble.
"Unfortunately no i cannot, we landed in the middle of the Desert, and even I have no clue as to which direction we need to go to reach the city, if we head off in any odd direction…' Ozpin left the final words unsaid.
Oscar paused.
'Well we cant lose hope, these people are counting on us.' he said
Suddenly there was a voice in the back yelling "Damnit! DAMNIT! DAMNIT!"
'Is that?' ozpin asked
"Qrow!" ocsar ran off.
He found qrow on his knees rocking himself back and forth with everyone around him looking like he was insane.
"Qrow what are you- where is…wheres ruby?" he asked
Qrow looked up and Oscar noticed his eyes were red and puffy he was crying.
"She…s-she fell…" he said absolutely heartbroken
Oscar felt his heart stop, "f…fell?" he asked
"Guts was fighting Femto. And he used Ruby against Guts…and tossed her off the edge, the rest of the team followed soon after, they were no match for him. Only Guts was and he…" qrow paused
Oscar gul[ed before channeling as much as he could of the old professor as he could which probably helped as the merge between them was coming sooner and sooner.
"Qrow…where is Guts?"
Qrow looked shocked for a second before jumping up rage "OH YOUR ONE TO TALK OLD MAN WERE THE FUCK WERE YOU!?" he roared
"SHUT UP QROW!" ocsar roared, putting enough of himself into it to snap the enforcer out of her hate and rage.
"We have enough going on without you adding to it now please tell me where is Guts?" he asked
Qrow scoffed "were on our own." he said as he stood up
Oscar looked back "that doesn't answer the question…where is-." oscar asked again
Qrow spun around "Guts jumped!"
Oscar paused
"What…" oscar said
'No…' ozpin said in his mind horrified.
Qrow nodded "he…he said he would bring them back and he jumped off after them." after a pause he took a deep breath. "As of now we need to consider Guts and the rest of team RWBY…KIA." Qrow said as Oscar looked to see him shutting his eyes as if holding the tears back from falling, but they refused to fall anyway.
And then Oscar heard the worst news he could ever have heard in his life.
'That's it…we've lost…'
(Midland)
Guts and his band as well as Team RWBY were making there way across the road to Falconia, the road was long, hard and filled with monsters.
Surprisingly Team RWBY didn't notice it themselves until they reached one of the more larger cities on the continent but the exploited of them as monster hunters had exploded, as people looked at them in awe. Yang got the first taste of this when they were at a bar and the bartender gave her a drink on the house. As she looked around she noticed people were gawking at her in awe.
Now for yang being as she was she smiled and waved it off and was pretty easy going but her warning to the rest of the team was dire.
News was getting to the public and it will be soon that Femto will know too.
As Guts and the others made there way faster out of the city to there nearest way to get to Falconia, they found a loud banging on one of the city doors.
"By order of the KIng! Open up were looking for wanted fugitives who are passing through as Monster hunters, if you have any news about them please tell us immediately." one of the man wearing the band of the hawk's colors and banner said
That was it Femto had found them.
Guts looked at the others who were apprehensive they knew it would only be a matter of time but they didnt expect it to be this fast.
"Lets go, dont stop until you reach the gate if your stopped, disengage, if more force is needed let me handle it." guts said to the other who nodded and started to make there way out.
Fortunately most the town at spread th word of there departure and the news of the government trying to seize them so in a rare turn of events the citizens were also screening the guards away from the group.
Unfortunatly it didnt matter as they reached the gate and saw it was guarded by several guards from the band of the Hawk,
"Hey you." one asked as he stepped forward
"Where do you think you're going?" he asked
"We have a contract to do outside the city of urgent matter." Ruby said naturally.
The guard nodded
"Aright let me check your paper work." he said
"It didnt come in writing now if you excuse us." Ruby said as she tried to barge past but the guard grabbed her
He bent down and spoke lowly. "Oh little girl dont you know the rules no official paper work and were gonna have to take you with us for a ride to the station." he said implying forceful sex was manadtory.
Ruby scowled "Guts."
The guard turned to the left and saw Guts standing opposingly beside her
"Let us pass." he said
The guard stood up looking at him and scoffed
"And who the fuck are you?" he asked almost boreliked
"Your worst nightmare if you don't let her go and let us pass." he said
The other guard came up from behind Guts and grabbed his shoulder
"Hey man i think they mean business i mean this guy has a sword as large as himself. But i mean he cant swing the damn thing." the other guard laughted
"Sudenly there was a gunshot and the man went flying into a couple of barrels near the gate. Dead
Guts has shot him from under his cloak
Guts looked back at the first guard with an expression that he wouldnt ask again
"Stand…aside…"
The guard gulped and did as he was told and let them pass.
When he looked to find his other guard he found the body has mysteriously vanished and he found a knife to his throat.
"If you speak or write of any of them being here you will not see another day." a shadowy figure said
The guard now terrified tried to turn around to see the figure had vanished.
Later that night the Band of the hawk camp was in panic as one of there own was killed in his own sleeping tent.
(Falconina)
At Falcomia femto sat on his throne, the seat of his empire was grand, he sat at te foot of the world tree with its branches growing to the heavens, and with a godhand, being present, it was able to stretch across to others worlds, worlds that eventually they could corrupt and femto would have more and more seats to add to his empire.
And then his plan would really begin,
He had no level of grandeur to the Godhands plan, he had to use them for his own. The Godhand wanted this to rule over all humanity with an iron-fist and bring it into a new darkage, where they were the highest power and all would would sacrifice to them in droves to make a empire that was unstoppable.
however griffith was more cunning than that, He had to play his cards right though, he had to make the world tree grow just large enough to reach a world that wound interfere with there plans, keep guts alive, to the point where he became a bother kill him send him off to get other people into the world to help him overthrow the godhand. It was genius. Thats right Femto ever sense the beginning was trying to overthrow the godhand, eversense that choice he was forced to make all those ages ago. And the conversation he had with the idea of evil. Just made him more sure of the fact that they had to be destroyed. Of course the corruption of his "human self was gone." but no matter the mission still goes on, even if femto is unwillingly doing as the mission to destroy the godhand without even knowing about it."
Femto sat on his throne as people were talking about himabout new orders of issue.
"Sir Griffith, news has gotten out that a monster in the country side is loose and it will cause a massive famine if we don't stop it." one said
"We will send the army to deal with it." griffith said
Hundred of orders hundred of insane and ungodly reasonings he had to listen to. And to think he wanted to rule over these people as a human. No he had a bette desire now. Soon he will become a full break the binds of mortality itself.
Suddenly the door opened and a figure with a helmet and a long cloak dragged itself into the room.
"Your grace there is an urgent report." the figure said
Femto nodded "very well. I will speak to the rest of you after lunch, please join me in the back." femto said as he stood up
Charolette looped up worryingly.
"G-griffith are you sure?" she asked
"Yes. princesses charlotte dont worry, it will all be resolved soon enough." he said as he lead the figure to the back room and locked the door.
From the other room Sonia looked at the door in a scowl "i dont like him…" she said to herself.
In the other room Femto stood to face the other figure
"So Void…what is there of need to speak about?"
The figure took off the helmet and the revealed head of the deformed Godhand staired looking at femto.
"It apperes that the blackswordsmen is approaching Falconia, by our estimates, he will be here within the week." he said
Femto looked shocked
"He's alive how can that…i threw him into the pits of hell. How is he here?"
"It apperes you were unable to even put an end to him yourself." Void said
"It matters little soon we will be able to reach the heavens and our armies will be unstoppable. Not even the blackswordsmen will be able to stop us." femto said
"There…is another issue?" Void said
Femto looked at him. "I assume its to do with the fact your here and not in Remnant?"
Void nodded "we've lost connection with that plane…" void said
"Lost connection LOST CONNECTION HOW CAN- i have connection to remnant, how is it youve not!?" Femto asked.
"Salem is dead." Void said
"I still got connection, here." Femto said and dragged his hand across he air and a portal shimmered "use this to get there ill find the root that connects us to Remnant and urge that one to grow faster ill not have a connection like that severed." Femto said
Void nodded
"Youve become one of the best of us. I couldtn even dream of being able to control the amount of power you hold." Void said as he walked past. Femto felt the presence of the other Godhand members pass as well as he sighed.
Femto headed out to the Garden with charlotte and had a picknit with her out in the gazebo, as it turned out it was the best spot for him to focus hos powers into commanding the world tree to grow just how he liked it. He spent as much time out there as any just to command the branches to split and anchor themselves into other worlds. So when the time is right he could drain each world of its life force, power, and people to gain the power of a god.
(Remnant)
Salem's Catharderal
Void and the other Godhand entered the room of the cathedral and smiled
"Slan find out where our layward followers has gone to, its time to advance to stage 3." Void said
Slan smiled "no need. Shes here." she said
Void turned around and sure enough Salem has arrived
However this wasn't the Salem they were use to seeing.
This Salem was…human…
Void was Livid, what had Femto done.
Femto smiled as he clenched his hand and made the godhand Vanish closing off the portal to Remnant now with the Godhand out of the picture he was free to do what he needed to finally become a god.

a/n i had so many cliffhangers that wouve been good but i always want my chapters to be substantial, i hate chapters with only 500 words or even 1,000 i can tolerate 1,000 but i do tend to go for more like 2,000 or more before i publish. Of course if im really good or really inspired than i can get manothe chapters like 10,000 but i havent gotten that far yet, i might for the next chapter to make the grand journey back to remnant seem just as epic, but idk anyways im back in the swing of this and im here till the end sense im over the AU aspect of writing, or sticking to the show as RT has it. Next chapter soon i promise.
