"S-summon the gods?" Guts asked

Everyone stood frozen "Oz are you…" Guts said
"Besides the astronomical effort it would take for us to possibly find the relics, gather them. And summoning the gods which I will admit is crazy! Salem will probably be ready for another offensive. Oz you said so yourself, you beat Salem back but she can recover she said before." James rashes out
Oscar spun towards General ironwood.
"I know what I said James! But we're running out of time!" He snapped
Weiss leaned over to Nora… "so will you explain what happened with Ozma and Oscar?" She asked
Ruby leaned over the other side "also what happened to his cane?" She asked
"Oz I'm more of the rash one here hearing this from you is absurd, are you sure you're not sick?" James asked as he stepped forward and placed a hand on Oscars forehead which he batted away
"I'm perfectly alright James! Just knowing with proof that Salem is able to be killed has given me hope for the first time I don't want to squander this by sitting around while she finds a way to counteract this." Oscar said
"If she can." Guts said suggesting it was more unlikely than he was giving it credit for.
Oscar looked at Guts in a saddened face.
"You don't know how smart Salem is. Even before…she was cunning. She was ruthless. And she was smart…much smarter than me. She taught me things. How to think of the bigger picture. See strategies." Oscar said reminiscing before sighing
"And I…helped her with her biggest weakness…her anger and impatience…" he said
"Salem was always smarter than me. If there is anyone who could possibly break the Demon blood curse…it's here." Oscar said

"Soooo are you going to explain what happened to your cane?" Ruby asked

Theodore stood up "I'm going to try to reason with the council one last time. If that fails I'll start gathering forces." The headmaster said
James nodded "I will return to the fleet and run through strategic calculations for the battle of Vacuole. I don't want to be caught unprepared and in the open." James said as he left the Atlas personal following.
Marie jumped down and patted Ruby on her thigh "I'm proud of you." She said before she walked off.
As Oscar explained the situation about his cane to team RWBY.
Team JNPR was getting the rundown from Jaune about his future role as leader of vale.
The team sat stunned
"Holy crap, Jaune." Nora said in awe and reverence.
"That's…incredible… are you sure your up to the task?" Lie Ren asked
Jaune shrugged
"I honestly don't know guys but Oscar said he'd give me help for leading the Kingdom's and I just…I don't know…some part of me just…didn't want to let him down." Jaune said
"Even after all that happened with Salem and the lying?" Nora asked
Jaune sighed. "I…I honestly don't know…apart of me was screaming not to trust him for all he hid but…another part of me was like "trust him." I just Felt it." Jaune said

"An old Mistral technique…although after the history of mistral being what it is it could be far older…possibly dating back to the Age of Lawthoric. It's called aura reading… now quiet for a second." Pyrrha warned
As her hand connected to Jaunes Aura she too was surrounded in the white veil
After a second it was gone and both slumped down exhausted.
"Oh my!" Jaune panted
"Sooo…" Nora asked
Pyrrha panted
"Jaune… what you have is incredible… I don't know how but somehow your aura carries the lifeforce of King Arthritis of Valoric. You're more of a living incarnation than anything." Pyrrha said
"Wait what?" Jaune asked stunned
"As I suspected…" a voice said by the door
Team JNPR turned to reveal Oscar against the doorway
"Pardon me, I didn't mean to startle you." He said as he stepped off.
"When I-…sorry…when Ozpin. Saw you for the first time with your aura unlocked he noticed something about you. Despite not having talked to you. Nor knowing your capabilities. Ozpin made a snap decision and made you the leader." He said
"But… why?" Jaune asked
Oscar smiled almost sadly
"Because of your aura…" he said
Everyone was stunned as Oscar walked in and sat on the bed looking down holding his hands between his legs he sighed
"Your…oh Linigeges are so hard sometimes." He muttered as he sighed and tried again.
"Your ancestor Arthritis Arc was the most Noble. Loyal. Honorable knight I ever knew. And he served me faithfully for years. It's why I had as much trust as I did to leave him my kingdom. While I played hermit and watched the world burn." He finished darkly as the am JNPR gasped silently
In Oscars eyes they were black and flames were present as he was clearly reminiscening on his past failures.
"When I returned and relized I failed to return to him before he passed I knew I had to do something to make sure his legacy lived on." Oscar said
He looked up and Jaune gasped as he saw Oscar crying.
"So I did, the money your family holds is my own personal treasury and your family summer home is something I secretly built to protect your family. A bunker that once activated is more fortified than Beacon fully staffed. It was I that spread the word of his accomplishment's even at the behest of my own popularity. I've done what I could to make sure I could give a second chance to say fairwell." Oscar said
Jaune breathed out his breath cold to his lips

"Is it Ozma? Is it truely?" From your wife being a member of a secret Cabal and you being cursed by the gods? Your humbled by me?" A voice asked echoing around the room as Jaune grit his teeth as his aura pulled away from him and started freely floating

Jaune grit his teeth before relenting and his felt his muscles relax as his aura spread out into a humanoid form and with each second the ethereal form getting clearer.
"Thank you Jaune…" the voice said as a crown was shown on his head with a chain coif and metal plating and a broadsword in front of him.
An ethereal version of Arthritis Arc stood before them.
"I've followed you to the end of the earth Ozma…I've done as you wanted and waited for you. And you've honored me more than I could ever repay back. Even after I did more than we could do…" Arthritis said
Oscar sighed
"I know old firend I know…" Oscar said
"Then stand up! And face it together! Be the man I swore to follow in my youth. Be the first knight of Lawthoric you were to that young girl so long ago!
…Be the hero you were when you saved her."
Oscar bent down and started shaking.
"But I can't save her now so what's the point…" Oscar asked
"You don't know that… let me tell you…from what I've heard from those young warriors. There Godhand firend Griffith was saved." He said

How Arthritis stayed firm

Oscar froze and turned to face King Arthritis.
"You are a better man than me. A better king than me…I can't teach your heir all that you have and be worthy to lead him." He said
King Arthritis smiled and tapped Oscar on the sholder
"Well I guess I'll have to go for second best then." He said
Oscar looked up
King Arthritis smiled "a little gift you gave us when you left your mark on our bloodline why I'm here…also in the Family room there's a box I've left for you Oz. Lay by the fire and weep." He hinted He gave a wink. As he flew back into Jaune who was on his knees but as the ghost flew into him he fell to his hands and coughed
"Gods I'll never get use to that." He said
'Sorry my son…Be thankful you won't have to..' king Arthritis said
'So…am I…like Ozma?' Jaune asked the king.
"No…you won't get my memories nor my knowledge but I have given you a gift in a form of your sword… and my training. Use them well the boy Oscar will teach you all I cannot…" the king said

Guts and Team RWBY were shocked with what Oscar unveiled on them. Heck Guts was stunned.
"I might have to go for some Mistralian Mead after that revelation." Guts said

Qrow looked up and rolled his eyes
"Jeez id say I'd be careful!" He said as he looked in and relized he drank too much cliched his mouth "excuse me." He said as he ran off to the bathroom and threw up in the drink

Oscar nodded and looked to Guts
"Now we have a broad stroke plan as to what to do however there is more. Percise actions to take quickly." Oscar said
"Within the week. Myself Guts along with teams RWBY and JNPR are going to make our way back to Vale. We're needed in Beacon. James mentioned that Adam was fighting at atlas before he picked them up but they were not on the ship it's probably safe to say The White fang are still holding up in Atlas." Oscar said
"I can send my fleet back to Mantle to work on clearing out the Sepratists there…" Holland said
Suddenly there was a ring on the scroll
"Hello…what…WHY WERE THEY NOT DETAINED?!- Argh!" He growled as he shut off the call nearly snapping the Scroll in half with his thumb.
"Issue?" Blake asked
" Patrol officer who's a contact… she says that Sepratists have been seen entering the city…under protection of Vacuole Councilor Guards…" he said
"So it's safe to assume Atlas is empty." Ruby said
"We can have people mine out atlas if we need to later, right now due to the money we've gotten from Schnee's vault we're in no need of money. Or dust. Just housing and a staging point for the final stand against Salem." Oscar said
"A good position where we can hold the entire world's armies at one harbor would be best." Ruby said
Oscar smiled "My thoughts exactly."
Ruby gasped "you mean-!" She asked excited
Yang rolled her eyes
"Oh come on you we're already a part of one major event now you wanna be apart of another?!" Yang asked
"Oh come on Yang! It's the whole world. We just got lucky with the king. This kinda opportunity only comes around once a hundred years or so." Ruby said
Oscar smiled "more like 500… but yes… hopefully this time it will stick and besides that's still a long way to go." He said
"So from order of most important to least what's the game plan?" Guts asked

"Teams JNPR, RWBY, Myself and Guts will return to Beacon.
Guts and RWBY will meet up with Glynda and gain the Relic within Beacon.
Team JNPR and myself will go to the Arc family residence. And talk face if you will. Family bonding is important." Oscar said to Jaune who looked away sheepishly uncomfortable.
Oscar pretended not to notice as Pyrrha grabbed Jaunes hand and wispered conforting words in his ears.
"In the meantime. James and Holland will work on defeating this rebellion here. We cannot allow the Crown to fall into the council's hands." Ozpin said
"In Atlas Adam will work on cleaning up Mantle for our use to act at free homes for the dispossessed."
"And Mistral?" Qrow asked

General Ironwood walked the halls of the ship trying to clear his mind he stepped aside as several people were carrying heavy boxes down the hall.
As General ironwood looked back he paused as he read the writing
"Excuse me!" James said

"Um there a set of aura Power armor ment to go into storage." One said
"Who gave you the order to file them into storage?" James asked
"Dr. Pietro sir." One of them said
"Cancel that order. Your to deliver them directly to the Grounds of Vacole. Here's the address. Use any ship you like but those Suits must be delivered unharmed." General Ironwood said
The crew nodded and left
James sighed and walked down the hall this time with a purpose.
In the Lab on the black array Dr Pietro was looking in through a micro scope as he watched as Liquid dust partials bound themselves to a electrical Charged piece of metal.
"Fascinating." He gasped as he wrote down the result. As he turned to Penny who was standing there holding things for her father.
"Thank you Penny. Why don't you go and get something to eat." He said
Penny nodded as she headed to the door.
Only for it to be slammed open "Dr Pietro!" James snapped
The good doctor jumped
"Oh brothers James I was handling dangerous dust if they intermixed the entire ship could've been blown in two!" He snapped
James sighed "sorry." He said
The doctor waved him off. "No it's my fault i should have put a sign on the door or something." He said as he went back to his experiment.
"Now what is it?" He asked as he poured some Red Dust with a blue liquid making a purple slush which confused the Dr.
James sighed "did you order for team RWBY's Armor to be sent into storage?" He asked
"Of course. Team RWBY isn't here to get use it. And I can use it to make more advancements on the power armor project of my own. I'm already working on electroplating the dust onto the plates instead of carefully carving the entire armor of the Dust metal alloy that way with a bit of sacrifice from the output of the energy shield it will be easer and quicker to produce." The Dr. Said.
James looked up "and that will work?" He asked
"As far as my readings show yes…here come have a look." He said as he waved James over.
James arrived and looked over the desk as He handed James a bit of steel with Red specks on one side of it.
"This is my first attempt of Electroplating Red dust onto steel. It's a good coverage but I don't know if it will have any effect on the powering of the suit." He said as he turned back to the work
"I guess I can have them get one of the suits so I can test it out now." The Dr said in thought.
"You won't be able to." James said
The Dr turned to James
"And why not?" He asked
"Because I've ordered The suits to be personally delivered to team RWBY. There about to be outfitted with them." James said
"Outfitted…you mean team Rwby is…alive…" the Dr. Said in awe.
James nodded
The Dr cheered!
Oh fantastic!" Ohh I can't wait to show them Ah my masterpiece is finally ready." He said as he walked off into the other room.
When he didn't come back James got a bit worried and followed him

"Pietro…" he said as the Dr walked from computer to computer it was clear he was still coding the armor.

James sighed "thank you. Now as I was going to say. You don't need to worry about The power armor yet. However. Seeing as Team RWBY I has never been given a set of the armor yet you should probably be with them seeing how people like miss Rose react to being fitted

"Oh good I've made it, yes it's me, I ran down here as fast as I could to help you get use to the new armor." He said
"Isn't it just like our normal armor?" Yang asked
Peitro shook his head. "No in fact it's quiet more than that, it's more to say that you hold the prototype of Guardsmen Armor Mark II. The third iteration of the Atlas Power Armor Project.
"Wait mark II armor. So this is different from the normal Guardsmen Armor that say, Blue team and the other Sentinel's use?" Ruby asked
Peitro nodded "that's correct Ms Rose, for one thing this Armor due to your chosen profession is much Much lighter than normal Guardsman armor. And much more durable than previous Guardsman armor. Along with several other features." Pietro said
Yang lifted up the chest piece and asked "this is lighter?"
" the chest piece of your armor is 50lbs. The chest piece of the original armor was 500." Pietro said
Yangs eyes bugged out at the massive weight shift as she put it down

"Unlike the Mark I armor this armor doesn't require a Rack that you need to step into in order for you to get suited up. However there are a few pieces you need assistance in. However due to your other modifications you can easily put most of the armor on yourself and not need a team of four to lift the chest piece normally." The doctor said
Blake looked at her boots "is there a select order this stuff goes on?" She asked
"Yes there's a skintight suit that is Gravity dust- weived that the rest of the armor sticks to. And yes you need to be naked under it. If you need to go to the bathroom and change into it the rest will be ready when you get out." Pietro said
As the four girls entered and exited the bathroom. They found were boots in there colors and the rest of there armor

Most of them had hexagonal patterns of Ruby Blake's and Yang's were black. With the body suit of Weiss being white as to match her color.

"I won't birate you anymore, just know that. You're a disgrace to the Arc family. And are not worthy of carrying the future king's name." Arthritis said as he flew back into Jaune who remained standing his time although somewhat winded.
Henry stood up
"I…Jaune…" henry said
"Father." Jaune said ridgedly
"Jaune I I need to know…what is your semblance." He said
Jaune looked at Oscar who nodded
"I'm an amp…" Jaune said
Suddenly his father hugged him
"Im so sorry. My son…I love you…and I've missed you." He said
Jaune smiled
Finally the two let go.
"You need to tell me everything my boy." He said as he slug his arm around Jaune and walked him back to the Others.
"That…is Quiet a long story." Jaune said
As they reached the others finally his sisters embraced him
"Jaune!" They said as they nearly sent him tumbling.
He stumbled but didn't fall which shocked the family
Especially when he lifted up his two older sisters with his arm
Henry was shocked
"An amp can't do that…" he said
Jaune shook his head "no…it's a long story…" but one that must be told. Of ancient knights and prophecies of four great girls turned legend and god slayers." Jaune said
Henry and Joanna Jaune's mother looked at each other shocked while the Sisters looked on in confusion
"Father? What does he mean?" Jade asked
Jaune smiled "old fairy tales young one… you should go get ready for dinner." Jaune said
Jade the youngest sister, nodded before running off along with two others who wore blue Ribbons in there hair
"Don't run!" Joanna said
"We won't!" The girls said
"I'll watch them and make sure they don't hurt themselves." The arc child with classes said as she walked away calmly x
"Alright Crystal…I think it's time we get some answers." She said
"I believe you're right, Azura." The other sister said
"Girls!" Joanna said, calming them down.
Jaune sighed
"Let's go inside and we can talk…all of us." Jaune said
Henry nodded and lead them into the Arc family library
"So you've gotten Seven sisters?" Pyrrha asked
Jaune nodded
"My mother Joanna Arc and my father Henry Rock-Arc." Jaune said
Joanna wore a sleek dress with bright red looking like rubies.
Henry wore a more battle plate look not enough to call himself a knight but the effect was there.
"You met Saphron in Argus. The next oldest is Crystal." Jaune said as he turned to her as she waved to them she followed her name sake and wore a pure white dress as did many of the Arc girls. Along with necklaces with the gems they were associated with them as well as other name sakes such as Turquoise Arc having glasses.
"Lapis and Lazuli are the goofballs of the family." Jaune said
"After Crystal we have Azura altogether she wears more orange than anything." Jaune said
"After that is Garnet who is the closest to my age." Jaune said
The others nodded as they reached the end of the hall and found a door marked study. As Henry stood before it
"What is discussed in here is not to be aired openly…I will inform your sisters in time…but please let them have this break." Henry said
The others nodded as Henry opened the door to the study.
They walked in and found it to be a massive library with books on all four walls massive painting of the Arc lineage. And there most prized possession.
The woven cloth of there family tree from when it was commissioned by Ozma when he returned to rule Vale.
Oscar was shocked by it being hung behind Glass well preserved
"Your still watching over it…." Oscar said as he looked in the glass.
Henry turned towards Oscar
"I'm surprised you know of its value…are you a historian?" He asked
"More like first person analysis." Oscar said
Henry and Joanna looked on in shock
"Another reincarnation?" They asked
"Not quiet." Oscar shook his head
Before Henry could ask Jaune grabbed his shoulder "it's…complicated dad…heck i'm not even sure I understand it…" Jaune said
Henry nodded and remained calm and delightful hosts
However the Arc sisters were not so contempt
"Ok…can someone explain what's going on?" Crystal asked
Henry sighed as he sat at the desk at the stuff with a cup of coffee. And slouched his shoulders before pointing to each girl with the cup
"How much have each of you studied up on Arc family history?" He asked
"Aside the amount you crammed down our necks before we were 6. Or the times our names got shown up on the history books…a bit…" Azura said
Crystal gave a "so-so" wave
Joanna leaned over to Henry
"That's a no then." She said
Henry sighed
"Ok…long long ago before the foundation of Vale or its previous kingdoms… there was the legend of the girl in the tower…of the mythical hero who saved her. Do you remember that fairy tale I told you?" Henry asked
The Arc sisters nodded
"Do you remember the story of the Hero's crossing over the bridge?" Henry asked
"Crossing over the bridge?" Ren asked
Jaune leaned over to Ren and whispered "it's a family tale…listen." He said
Ren nodded

It was mulky, damp, cold,
An iron boot splashed on a muddy puddle reflecting the full moon
The man wearing the heavy armor he looked down to see his pants were covered in mud
He wore a brown cloak over a smaller green cloak as well as a green shirt
He had a staff with a green gem on its head.
It was Ozma…
Oz sighed
"Great, I gotta clean my armor again when I get to the next tavern." He looked up to see a cobblestone bridge and across it was a tavern with quiet a pretty tavern lady bringing in a lot of customers with her "charm"
She was sleek and sly and very very tasteful. She had all the men around the tavern outside wrapped around her finger.
She ushered them inside and at the last moment looked up and gave a playful wink towards Ozma
Ozma waved but the lady didn't see it as she stepped away inside.
Ozma sighed he always had trouble with the ladies how could he not. I mean it's not that he wasn't pretty heck the reason he went on adventuring was Because of the ladies
He would just be walking down the village market place and suddenly one of his attractive neighbors…or something seven. Would lunge at him and ask for his hand in marriage.
This of course went quite well with all the other Girls and oh look a mod shows up. guards are called and the girls start bawling and leave Ozma high and dry as the person who instigated the fighting.
Heck he wouldn't be surprised if any of the lady did any sexual favors for the guards to let them go free. He remembered a guard was right next to him when it happened one time.
Oh a "childhood firend tackles Oz.
Oz is arrested
The girl goes free
Oz has to pay a fine
Didn't get groceries
And next week the same girl is engaged to be married to the same city guard…
Coincidence? Ozma was calling bullshit.
Finally having enough Ozma decided to pack his stuff up sell his house for gold and adventure. His mother the last relative he had died two months ago so he was alone now.
Alone with no one to bother him…
So lonely.
Of course he couldn't stay in a town long as if he did the same thing would happen so Ozma had about a week to arrive unpack. Get a few jobs around to get pay for his stay and food for the road. And in about seven days leave.
It wasn't the best life Ozma had but it was his…
However the unfortunate part of adventuring was that Ozma was starting to make a name for himself
The last village didn't even take him in as they heard rumors that another village had done so and was rampaged by Grimm.
So he moved on…
To where he was not
He started to make his across the bridge when suddenly a spear was thrusted before him blocking his path.
"Sorry you need to pay a toll to enter the town…" he said
He wore a brown cloak that cover his eyes but from underneath Ozma could tell he had blond hair.
Ozma sighed and reached for his pouch for his money and handed him two silver pieces.
However the man knocked the two pieces out of Ozma's hand an into the water.
Ozma ran to the side of the bridge and watched them float away down stream
Ozma turned to the man outraged
"WHAT THE FUCK?!"
The bandit smiled evily
"I don't like you much, that's what. Tell you what
You give me your tongue or cut up your cute face and I'll let you pass." He said as he drew a dagger from under his cloak.
Ozma huffed now irritated
"Really? Buddy I just wanna sleep." He said
The man scowled
"To bad I guess you will either be sleeping in the Dirt of the FISH's!" The man roared as he charged.
Ozma reached fast enough bouncing his staff off the ground to grab it higher so he could flip it around and parry the blade with the metal bit to prevent the wood from breaking.
The man and Ozma were locked in a sword lock
"Huh not bad." He said almost revering in the fight
Ozma however looked bored
"I'm an Adventurer for over five years…your just a bandit…do you really think you can beat me?"
Hey I'm not just a bandit! I'm the town's protector here!" The man said
Ozma scoffed
"Oh sorry great sir." He said mocking as he overpowered the man in a second sending him flying on the bridge and his dagger away and blowing off his hood
He looked like an older version of Jaune but with a scarred face and broken lip. And several other injuries to him.
He looked up to see Ozma's staff pointed at him.
"Give me your pouch…" Ozma said a face showing he wasn't going to hesitate to kill.
The man carefully took out his money pouch and handed it to Ozma.
The first thing he noticed was that it was heavy very heavy much more than his own…he was doing this for a while and he all but bested him in combat so he's ripe for the spoils…
Ozma hesitated he looked up to see the town looking at Ozma in shock
Ozma sighed and stuck with his morals
He opened the pouch and fished around
Finally he drew out his hand and in it held two silver pieces
He closed the bag and tossed it back to the man which he caught on his stomach as Ozma strode past.
The man as well as everyone else in the town shocked
As Ozma didn't react to them at all and push his way into the tavern.
He walked past the save tavern lady who just moments ago waved and smiled
Now she was horrified.
Ozma sighed and lemented if it was better to head back home but sighed he had no home now as he pushed the door in.
The tavern was packed by all the men the tavern lady wooed in here as they stood around another lady with even less clothes on handing out beer and food with a sign on her neck for an extra tip you could squeeze her breasts.
Ozma rolled his eyes at the scummy practice and sat at the bar.
"Anything I can get for you suger?" The same woman asks
"A week of rooms and dinner, don't worry I'll pay for up front if you want." Ozma said tiredness sounding from his voice.
The lady smiled as she belt down not realizing one of her breasts fell out of her blouse but Ozma didn't care he was too tired.
"Let me get you something for that throat of yours." She said as she walked away.
Ava minute later she realized her breast was hanging out
Ozma turned to the bartender next to him
"I hope you pay your girls well for that treatment." Ozma hissed
"It's consensual." The bartender said as he walked away to put away the class he was cleaning.
Ozma sighed well if it was their choice it wasn't so bad…
Suddenly the women came back with a bottle of green hissing goo
Ozma looked up
"Gurgle that for 5 seconds then spit it out, don't swallow or your inside's will come up…" she said
Ozma did so and after doing it felt more away then he had for the last month.
The bartender gave Ozma the server dinner a Lamb leg.
"So how much are you willing to pay for your time here?" He asked
"Well I'm not all that well on money…" Ozma said in the middle of a bit but a glare at the bartender made him stop and sigh.
He put his food down and reached into his pouch and slapped it on the bar loudly
Splitting his middle and ring fingers to reveal a gold piece hidden under his hand.
The bartender nodded "ok you can stay room 204 upstairs." He said as he walked away
Ozma sighed and went back to eating.
Within 30 minutes a storm had rolled in so Ozma sat by the windows nursing a mug of ale. Watch in the rain patter on the glass.
Suddenly there was a loud bang from behind Ozma
"Hey!" A voice said that Ozma reconized
It was the god damn bridge protector.
Ozma sighed as he relized he was getting closer.
Finally he stood over Ozma who pretended not to notice him until he couldn't anymore
"What? I'm trying to relax here."
The man sighed
"I'm sorry it's just…can I sit here?" He asked
Ozma rolled his eyes
"Something tells me your going to anyways." He said
True to his word the man did sat down across from him
Ozma looked so tired as he took a sip of ale.
"It's just…look your threw me a curve ball back then a while ago. Ive been sitting on it for a while."
Ozma scoffed "what the fact I beat you? It's no big deal about that." He said
The bandit scoffed "no the fact you didn't take my entire purse. Anyone else who would have beaten me as soundly as you had would have either taken my tounge or the purse for spoils. Yet you didn't…what I wanna know is why?" He asked
Ozma sighed and waved a lady down.
"Anything you'd like to drink?" Ozma asked
"The local special." The man said
The lady nodded "coming right up." She said as she walked away.
Ozma looked back at the lady then at the man.
"First I want to know…why are you asking?"
The man sighed
"I…I wanna change. I've lived here all I can remember that bridge…is the only home I know…it's how I got the name Arch…and picking up money from travelers is the only way I could get money to live. But I've always felt it was scummy it's just…I didn't have anything else I could do." He said
Ozma nodded as the lady came back with a tankard
"Thank you." He said as he reached in his pouch and went to give her a silver piece for the drink but Ozma stopped him.
"Wait." He said
The lady and The bandit looked at Ozma
"I'll pay for his drink." He nodded
The lady shrugged and walked away.
" you didn't have to do that." The bandit said
Ozma sip his mug and answered
"Yes I did…otherwise how else will I be able to test your resolve for this." Ozma said as he stood up
"Walk with me." Ozma said as the two headed up the stairs and into Ozma's room. As The bandit closed the door
Ozma pulled out a chair in the middle of the room and sat on the bed
"Sit." He said
The bandit did so
Ozma sighed
"Listen…I don't adventure for fame…nor for glory. Nor for money, I do it because…we'll I guess because it's right. Originally it was a way to get out of my village. But it's morphed it's become apart of me… I want you to understand this before I continue. Because if you want me to, I can take you under my wing and train you. You will be like me a traveling knight so to speak. But it will be poor condition's there will be some nights we don't get food before bed or even sleep at all.
Then each moment of the day will be fighting monsters. To get money for our rest and food. If you don't want this life feel free to walk away now." Ozma said
The bandit looked back towards the door then back at Ozma.
"I'm staying…but…why wouldn't you let me pay." He asked
Ozma smiled
"Because you need to pay for your armor." He said
"Wait what?!" Arch asked
(The next day)
The two stood infront of the backsmith of the village.
"Well what can I do for you?" He asked
"I'd like a Sword, Chestplate, greaves and Gauntlets please." Arch asked
"You want it embued with anything?" The blacksmith asked
Arch nodded "Grimm Resistance." He said
The blacksmith sighed
"Argh you see I just used up the last of my supplies filling an order for the world's biggest sword." He said
"How big are we talking about?" Arch asked not believing that he actually used up his whole stock for the one sword
"About 6 feet and 400 fucking pounds big, that's what." He said
Ozma looked out to see a man with a black cloak leaving the village with a sword that was well too big to be called a sword…massive thick heavy and far too rough…it wasn't a sword but a hunk of iron.*
Ozma stepped back in "when is the next shipment due?"
"Not till next week however there is a spot on the mountain that you can go. There is this glowing plant all sorts of colors it's some of the only wildlife that Grimm won't touch… legends say that if a Grimm eats it it dies period. If you can get me a bunch of them heck even one I can probably make a regent out of it to coat the armor and sword." The blacksmith said
Ozma nodded and looked at Arch
"Well let's go." He said as they walked out Ozma stuck his head back in "keep the forge warm for us." He said as they left.
About a day later they were back and 3-4 days Arch's armor was built. Hammered into place. And coated just in time for their Week deadline to be finished as the two headed out of the town.
"And that's the story of "The great Patron." The founder of the Arc family. And the one who is a chance to stand greater."
(Arc's study)
The entire room was silent the only noise was the crackling of the fire
Oscar sighed and leaned back looking at the studies ceiling
"I forgot about the Arch boy…I'm glad someone else remembered…makes me feel less guilty." Oscar said
Ren glaired at Oscar "you really have no idea how to lay low do you?"
Oscar smiled looking at him "nope." He said scratching his head.
"This girls is apparently the great patron himself reincarnated…which is a story for another time…however since that time the Arc Family has been gratefully helped by those who call themselves Oz and we've stuck by him at least that far." Henry said
"Some even farther." Oscar said
Joanna raised her hand "let's not complicate the timeline any more thank you very much." She said
The girls were in shock and after a bit of rambling Joanna sent the girls to bed which they fully accepted so they could think about what they just learned.
"So Oz…why are you here?" Henry asked as the door shut.
"Apparently your forefather, Arthritis Arc has left behind something for me I didn't know of." Oscar said
"I thought you built the castle?" Nora asked
Oscar shook his head "I didn't, I lent the money to the family and the plans which were left in my possession after my return to the crown. But I didn't put them into memory." Oscar said
Henry nodded "well this is the oldest room of the castle so I have a feeling it would be in here." He said
Oscar nodded and looked to Jaune
"What was the word's that Arthritis said to us?" He asked
Jaune paused "it directed it to the family room but he said "lay by the fire and weep." He said
"The family room you know has never had a fireplace. Because it wasn't the family room. That was the old study we moved around after we had our third child and realized we needed a larger family room. This is the old family room. If there is something from Arthritis…I have a feeling it's here." He said
"Wasn't this supposed to be just a summer home?" Jaune asked
"All our homes are considered summer homes Jaune don't you remember we're Honarary Residents of every kingdom. Except for Atlas. Fortunately our old home in Mantle still stands." Henry said
Jaune nodded "right but none of them were as good as Arc castle." Jaune said
"Hence we live here full time." Henry said
Oscar and the others huffed trying to figure out what King Arthritis left for Ozma in the form of a riddle.
"Bugger." Oscar said

I'll end it here for now not because I'm out of writing ideas but we'll…because I wanted to talk for a bit. I'll be honest with you all those people who keep reading this story. I'm grateful for you. Over 5,000 people started reading this now only the most loyal 100 or so people remain. And for that I'm greatful.

I…might've overestimated how much lore I was writing for this fanfic. Don't get me wrong I love berserk and heck RWBY is the reason I got into writing. It's why I went to college to become an English major to tell my own stories I'm VERY grateful for Rwby. I love both Ip's and I'm not giving up on them. But I've relized I've added more of my own writing elements into this story. Some that I borrowed from other authors

Like the "movie" was a major plot point… but that…was only a quarter of the story written. 1/4th
Now I know what your asking "how can I consider this story 1/4th of the way done when you write each chapter in the moment?" That or any other question about how I'm in your head or how I do my writing I'll get there in a second hold on. I'll drop this tidbit however this (*) pay attention to it and you'll understand why soon.
The answer to the main question is well I just know…that and lore. I want to do this story right. This as well as my other Berserk story Good old days are in tribute to Kentaro Mirura. ( RIP) and I want these stories to stand up as a masterpiece just like his works do but not for vanity. But because these stories deserve to be told.
To that end (and to avoid rambling anymore) I'll wrap this up.
Much of this story is deep and those who have stuck around really enjoy it so I'm going to announce the reward now.
