Chapter start.
Remnant factions talk logiciants
[Atlas Air Fleet over the kingdom of Vaccoule,]
Qrow sat back in his chair and sighed as he sat on in Ironwood's office. Across from him behind his desk looking out the massive window was James ironwood himself.
"Jimmy, do you think this will work?" He asked
James sighed "Qrow you know this is the only chance we have."
Qrow raised his hands "I know I know trust me… it's just…something is off about this." He said
James spun around and squinted at Qrow
"Off how?"
Qrow sighed and shook his head "it's just a feeling."
James leaned forward "tell me about it…please.
Qrow scoffed "I was believing to think you hated me."
James smiled "I can never Hate an advisor such as you…"
Qrow sighed and looked to his feet
"It's too easy…" he said
"What is?" James asked
"The war. This fight. Vacuole, the relics. Everything." Qrow said
"The fight hasn't been easy…" James said
"But this is the Godhand…it should be nigh impossible. Something is wrong." Qrow said
James sighed "normally I'd consider this your usual pessimistic self but I've also had the same thoughts."
Qrow nodded
"Then you know what we have to do even at the cost of ourselves."
""Spring the trap."" They both said.
(Council)
The three councils sat around the table
"Damn it with Ironwood in the Air we can't seem like we're not doing anything." One said
"But if we don't do anything the next election we will be outvoted and we will be jailed." Another said
"Then we have no choice… get in contact with the bandit Queen…" the final member said
(Mistral)
In the city the alarm for general Mobilization was heard as every abled Man Women Child and Fanuas. We're being cranked out for the epic battle. Everyone who was too old or febel was looking through papers
Every young kid was making errand runs.
And the rest were farming
100% of the city was throwing ham into the war effort.
And the kingdom was doing the same.
Meanwhile the Huntsman we're working there asses off.
Being stuck as both elite units as well as the only ones capable of dealing with the Grimm they were double shifting and being run ragged.
Still they held and did everything asked of them.
The New headmaster of Mistral made an announcement.
"As of today you've heard the news of the fact we are finally taking the fight to Salem…that is true. However not everyone can make it and even more they have even more important jobs to do…" he said
"We need our homes in order for when we return therefore only half of the graduated Huntsman will join this exposition. 40% of the fourth years, 30% of the third years 20% of the second years and 10% of the first years. Everyone else is to stay behind and guard the school and the city. I will be leading the Mistral contingent of the invasion so the acting Headmaster will be the one to give you missions." He said
There was silence in the hall
"There will be an email coming out in a few days for those who have been picked to come along as well as where we are meeting and at what time you should be expected. Failure to show up on time and you will not be able to board the ships in Argus Dock for Vale as the rest of the space is used for the Civilian contingent am I clear?" The headmaster asked
"SIR YES SIR!" The huntsman yelled
"Good…I know this isn't the school you expected when I took charge a year or so ago otherwise you would gone to atlas…if it was still around. But I want you to know I'm proud of you for sticking by us. And for that I'm going to tell you a story… who here has heard of the story of the Final Voyage?" The headmaster asked

The voyage was the last one Arthritis Arc the king of vale took with his loyal followers after the ransacking of Valoric remained Vale a few years later by a wandering hermit who gained access to the council meeting. There were two knightly orders Presented in that The knights of the Myst. And the Knights of Vale which was later change into the council system as all the knights did…Well in name at least."
Everyone gasped at that
"Yes! The mistral Council is infact one of the ancient legendary knight circles formed from the unification war of the Grimm by King Arthritis! However we are much grander than that. You see we are the heirs of the founding members of the knights of Valoric!
"It's time we show the world it's Sleeping giant has woken and we back our king! As of now those who accept this invitation is a full fledged member of the reborn knights!"

The headmaster smiled "then we have our army. And there is hope." He said as he looked out the window
"Hang on Ozma, we're coming."
(Mantle)
Adam tarus read over the report's in mantle and it's beleaved that the rebels have vacated Mantle and no one is left
Adam sighed as a scout gave his report
"Very well tell General Ironwood he can begin sending the population of Atlas back to mantle the emergency shelters are in place. And we will guard the Settlers until they are stable and back on there feet. However we will not be doing it personally. We are needed elsewhere." Adam said
"Sir?" The scout asked
Adam turned away
"High leader Khan has informed me that Mistral is sending out a general mobilization to Vale. Apparently there forming a large contingent to strike the Grimm head on. She wants us to be there for PR for fanuas." Adam says.
"Who else will be there?" The scout asked
"Anyone who isn't told they are being left behind inorder to protect the townsfolk." Adam said
"Even…Ghira.-" the scout looked back down
Adam turned
"Yes I do believe the founder will be there, it will be an honor serving with him again." Adam said
"Sir h-how will you consider who to send and not?"
Adam froze and looked over his shoulder
"Merit…" he said
(Vale)
In Vale RWBY walked around as Glynda worked on getting the Crown ready for transport. It was very dangerous and able to corrupt people by just looking at it. So she was taking no chances
This meant that team RWBY had a chance to explore Vale. Or new Vale as it's being renamed after it was built.
"I can't believe they gone and changed the name again." Yang said as all four walked down the street
Ruby and Weiss walked normally Blake was hunched with her hands in her pocket and Yang had her arms behind her head
" It's just a name, Yang." Weiss said
"I know I know it's just "New Vale" or "Neo-Vale" doesn't roll off the tongue as well."
Blake looked to her girlfriend
"Then don't use it." She said shrugged
"See but now that sounds reasonable!" Yang complained
"Oh my gods, the lot of you!" Weiss moaned facepalming.
"Hey I'm not a god…but a goddess maybe!" Yang said, throwing a teasing wink to Blake who blushed and looked away.
"Keep it in the room you two." Weiss said making Ruby giggle until Weiss turned on her
"You have no room to laugh."
Ruby stuttered "oh come on!" She said
The rest of the team gave her a 'really' look
"Sis we can hear the vibrations." Yang said

"It's supposed to be in silent mode." She moaned confirming what they were saying

"Ugh stupid Atlas modification's and enhanced hearing." Ruby said
"Hey at least you know how it felt to hear that whistle in first year." Blake said
"I think that's why she's sad." Yang said
"Hey where is Guts?" Weiss looked back seeing the Dark knight wasn't with them.
Ruby looked back "Huh, well with how famous Guts has become he believed it would be better if we did shopping without him so we could go to shop to shop

"I can't believe they prioritized a Mall over affordable housing." Blake complained
"The mall was a major economic center for Vale, in a year it made enough money to supply the kingdom, which is why Vale didn't feel as much of economic hurt after the fall of Beacon like others did, now that its running again Vale's economy as well as the world's Economy is back up and running again." Yang explained
"That as well as all the extra cash from the manor…" Weiss said
"Weiss I think that's staying in Atlas as it's used for funding more Guardsman armors." Blake said
"Not true Blake there actually using it for the seeding of New Mantle." Weiss said
Yang rolled her eyes "great another Neo suffixes named town for no reason." Yang complained
""NO ONE ASKED YOU TO USE IT YANG!"" Weiss and Blake yelled at her.
Ruby turned a corner and froze
"Ummm girls…" she said
The other three followed up and they appeared in Vale square or what was Vale Square which was now a Public park.
And in the middle was a bronze statute of Guts who was Slaying a dragon with His cloak billowing out his Metal Arm cannon shoved down the dragon's throat and an explosion coming out of the back of the dragons face his other hand With the Dragonslayer held out about to bring it down on the Dragon's neck to cleave it's head off.
The four girls approached
"Damn that's an amazing statue. The Detail is so lifelike especially those chiseled Abs " Yang said
Ruby glaired at her sisters for looking at the statue for so long…
Weiss looked at Yang "you sound jelious." She teased
"I am not! It's Ruby's Boyfriend after all we're just as badass even if we're not as known." Yang said as she slung an arm over Ruby "I'm just teasing you Ruby, your gonna marry Guts and have a ton of Children I can spoil them as the cool Aunt!" Yang said
"YANG!" Ruby screamed with a bright blush making Yang laugh before she noticed Blake's ass swaying back and forth as she read something.
"What's up kitty cat you looking up how many legendary achievements you have to accomplish before we get immortalized, it's never gonna happen."
"Um I wouldn't be to sure Yang." Blake said as she read the Plaque of the statue.

"Oh ha ha!" Ruby said as they stopped in the First corner and there stood a statued verson of Ruby Rose. Hood up and Crescent Rose behind her the shaft laying across her back and the blade by her feet
"Woah!" Ruby gasped in awe seeing herself idolized like that
"Way to go sis I knew you could do it!" Yang said as she hugged Ruby tightly
"Hey there's a plaque here too." Blake said

"Oh I'll show you! Ruby who is stronger out of all of us?" Yang asked
Ruby blinked 'were they for real right now?'
After a few seconds she realized 'yes yes they were.'
Heck even Blake wanted to know
Ruby sighed "look girls we can decide about this later ok? For right now I just wanna have a nice day out on the town." Ruby said
Both Weiss and Yang blinked
"Right…but who is stronger?" Blake asked
Ruby facepalmed "don't encourage them blake."
"I'm not i'm curious too!" She said
Ruby was getting irritated now.
"Enough! Ok? Enough! You want the answer I'll give you the goddamn answer? Not including me or Guts. the strongest is Weiss." Ruby said
Yang was shocked
"W-Wha but Ruby?!" Yang gasped
Ruby turned to Yang "I've got one answer to your argument Yang… Tarasque."
And like that Yangs argument died on her lips.
"Why do you say Im strongest if your not on the list?" Weiss asked
"Well if I included Guts that would be just unfair he's laid waste to gods he'd squish us like bugs. Me included." Ruby said
Blake whispered to Yang "I don't think Ruby noticed when She and Guts were sparing that Guts was actually going all out on her." She said
Yang suppressed a shiver.
"As for me just because of how my semblance is I'd be able to kill you before you even got to summon but if you were able to summon you'd win." Ruby said
Weiss nodded "ok fair let's see the other statues." She said
Yang sighed "finally!" As they walked off.
They reached a statue that was of Blake her cat ears exposed

Finally they made it to Yangs.

Yang sighed "ok ok you win gods that's embarrassing." Yang said as she read the note left by their father.
"Come on let's get some shopping done and relax for the day like we deserve," Blake said
Ruby looked up and saw the mall,
"Um girls…"
"Oh yeah come on let's go." Yang said as she noticed a huge crowd whispering. As she noticed Ruby Retreat into her cloak
'Being a huge role model and savior of trillions of people easy. Papperizi? She curls up into a ball. Yep that's my sis.' Yang thought
They were fortunate they didn't get any contact with the crowd as they entered the mall.
They had a good day and a nice relaxing time even if every five seconds one of them was asked to sign something.
Surprisingly Ruby was the one asked the most which she happily did but everyone knew it was a bit forced at the end. Especially after someone asked her to sign her boob…
Yeah that was something Ruby was repressing a lot.
Fortunately by the time they left the mall they got a message from Glynda
G- 'Team RWBY please come to the Headmistresses office at your earliest convenience.'
Team Rwby look at each other and head back to beacon
They enter the office and see Roman Torchwick. Standing there with Neo next to him
"Oh hello red. Go on in She's expecting you."
Ruby nodded as they walked in
Glynda looked out the window stoically
"It's good you came in as quickly as you did. I have a bad feeling about this. I was before going to have you transport the relic with a military contingent but I fear there is no time…follow me and I will lead you to the relic of choice." Glynda said
The team followed her and through a rally of different passagesways that quiet honestly even confused the team itself they stood in front of a statue with a space for Ozpins cane.
Ruby gasped "is this the statue that holds the relic?" Ruby asked
Glynda nodded
"But then…we have an issue." Weiss said
Glynda turned to the team "and what that?"
"Ozpins cane was destroyed when he vanquished the Spell over the Vaccoulan desert. We can't access it." Ruby said
Glynda smiled
"Don't worry…did you not think there wasn't a fails safe?" Glynda said as she turned around and activated her semblance or was it…
Either way the vault opened making the team gasp.
"Your…" Ruby asked
Glynda looked back
"No I'm not…I'll explain later." Glynda said "thank you for informing me of the loss of Ozpin's cane…it's a sacrifice but it's not the end of the world yet…" Glynda said as she smiled almost proudly for some reason
She lead them down to the Actual vault doors
"Now stand back I don't want you to be caught in the blast…" Glynda said as she threw out her hands.
"As The wife of Ozma I order you to open!" Glynda said
Suddenly the doors slowly opened.
Glynda smiled at them before her eyes widened
Team RWBY turned around
To see a crimson portal behind them
"Mom?" Yang asked
Suddenly Raven Branwen sprinted out of the portal helmet on in a low crouch her sword forward as she stabbed Glynda in the back!
"NOOOOO!" Yang screamed
Raven kept sprinting as the doors began to close
Yang tried to run after her but Raven was the only one to sneak in as she grabbed the relic and portables away. The background of Vacuole desert was shown. As the doors closed
"Damn it!" Yang yelled
"Yang! Get here!" Ruby yelled to her sister
Yang spun around and joined her teammates as Glynda was holding her stomach as where the sword drove through her.
"A-aura booster?" Yang asked
Weiss shook her head "she cut her spine not even Aura can heal that…I'm sorry." Weiss said
"N-no girls…don't be…" Glynda coughed
Ruby tried to hold her down but Glynda shook her head "please let me…say these last words… Throughout my time at Beacon I've never seen a team show such promise as you four…I'm glad I was the one to teach you…I know you will do well."
Glynda's head rolled back as she died…
(Vacoule)
In the council building the private area the three councils waited around a table
Suddenly a portal appered before them and Raven walked out holding the crown
She tossed the Crown on the long table
"It is done…now I want your promise that you will give my people a full pardon and let us be on our way…" Raven said
The councilors waved her off
"Yes yes but first we need to verify the crown's legitimacy."
Raven growled but couldn't argue with it as one of the council's snatched the crown up
"Raven branwen kneel before us?!" The councilor with the crown said
Raven grunted as she was forced to her knees
"W-Wha…" she gasped
"It's legitimate." The councilor said
"Very well…finish it…" the other councilor said
The one with the crown nodded "Raven branwen. Tell us…where is your tribe located…and after that…throw yourself onto your sword…"
Raven struggles against the crowns power
A sickening scream was heard from the chamber before it puttered out. And a soul shattered the glass and flew off.
Raven laid on the floor in a pool of her own blood.
"Now it's time to find the sword." The councilor said
"No…if we do that then Ozma will know…we need to be more careful. Than that…" the third councilor who was the quietest of them all said
"What do you suggest?" The one with the crown asked
"We need an army…" the quiet one said.
(Beacon)
"I can't believe she just did that." Yang said
"Yang nows not the time." Weiss said
"We need to tell Guts about this…" Ruby said
"Agreed but what about Glynda?" Blake asked
"I'll carry her." Yang said as penance for my mothers actions"
They made there way out of the Vault and found Guts
"What's…oh…" he said as he saw Glynda's body in yangs arms.
"We should get to the medical wing. Then call an emergency meeting for the staff." Guts said immediately taking charge.
"You three go Blake and I will bring Glynda to the hospital." Yang said
Guts nodded as they split up
"I hate this…" Ruby said
"Everyone hates to see firends die." Guts said
"No…that's not it…guts…it was Raven…" Weiss said
Guts froze.
"What?" He asked
"Raven was the one who killed Goodwitch…I think Yang blames herself for it…" Ruby said
Guts clenched his fist
"Come on let's call the meeting we will discuss the issue when everyone else is present." He said
(Headmaster's office.)
Guts sat in the chair as before him the rest of Beacons staff stood there. Ruby and Weiss were standing next to him
"Just a few moments ago Glynda Goodwitch has been killed." Guts announced
Everyone gasped
"Although it won't be announced the assassin was Raven branwen." Guts finished.
"Oh poor child…" Port said
"But why? Why would they kill The headmistresses?" Dr Oobleck asked
"Because they wanted the crown." Ruby said
"Crown?" A few teachers asked
Ruby looked around the room "you can catch them up later." Ruby said
"Yes the fact is right now we need to find the crown…do we have any idea where in the kingdom she could have gone to…any safe houses…anything?" Torchwick asked as the teachers thought together.
"You won't find her in Vale." A voice said behind them as Yang and Blake walked in.
"W-what do you mean she's not in vale?!" Another teacher asked
"Before she left Raven made a portal in the background I saw an atlas Fleetship…somehow she used her semblance to get to Vacuole." Yang said
"But why would she go into Vacuole? She doesn't have anyone there…"
"The point is we need to consider the possibility that
the vacoule council just assassinated Glynda Goodwitch." Guts said
"Hey thats not fare it Could be Salem?" Another teacher said
"I think it's worse than that." Guts said
"I think we need to consider Vacoule in open rebellion."
There was a gasp.
"War? Really?"
Guts nodded "Oz tried very hard to prevent this. As did Glynda but well we're still here." Guts said
"To that end. Someone needs to hold down the fort at beacon and amass the armies. Not only for Vacoule but after when we do take the fight to Salem." Guts said
"To that end they will be made headmaster of the school to promote stabity in this unstable time…
The person chosen to take up the mantle of headmaster is…
Roman Torchwick." Guts announced
"WAIT WHAT?!" said person said
As the teachers turned around to see Roman by the door frozen in shock.
"B-but..I can't…I don't deserve it. I'm a criminal I can't be headmaster? The council will never allow it." Roman argued

"It is for those exact reason's you've been chosen for this job."
"People in the role of leadership don't often seek it but it's those who are determined to be the most unworthy that are the ones best suited for it." Guts said
Roman was shocked while the other teachers congratulated him
Guts stood up " that is all your dismissed." Guts said

"Guts…why did you choose Torchwick?" Ruby asked
"Why wouldn't I?" Guts asked
"It is a valid question Torchwick is right." Blake said
Guts sighed.

It was late at night the fire in the fireplace had gone out and the embers were cold.
Team JNPR sat in the living room with the Joanna, and Henry arc as well as their oldest daughters.
Henry and the rest of team JNPR talked about the army.
Oscar was pacing around the room in deep thought infront if the fireplace.
"Can't you help him?" Joanna Arc asked her son.
However Jaune just shook his head
"No this is something he has to find on his own."
"Because the one inside your head said so." Crystal said
"and I agree with it."Jaune arc said
"What does the riddle say again?" Jade asked
"Lay Down by the fire and weep." Jaune said
Oscar fell to his knees "Damn it Im sorry. I've failed you…and your family…" he said
Jaune and the others looked at him

'As soon as I dawned on me he wasn't coming back to reclaim his throne…he still has guilt in him…' Arthritis said
Oscar looked up weeping "Damn it im a terrible king…why did you follow me all these years…"
Henry sighed as he went to stand up and talk to Oscar but Jaune held him back

Finally Oscar finished crying and looked up an noticed a secret compartments inside the Fireplace
"No way!" Oscar said as he got up and pressed on the spring loaded door
The door poped open and out fell into his awaiting palm a large green orb.
"Oh my god!" Oscar gasped
"What is it?" Jaune asked
In Oscar's hands sat a stone of vivid green and had the look of the most Beautiful cut diamond while being perfectly smooth in a ball.
"It's the rhinestone." Oscar gasped
"What's that?" Nora asked
"In my previous life's it was the orb ontop of my staff. It was used to symbolize my royalty. It was the last thing I gave to Arthritis Arc before I died. To legitimize his accession. I had thought it lost after all these years."
"It nearly was but cercemstances allowed it to be able to be returned to you as it's needed…"
"But how?" Oscar asked
"Well it's quiet a tale." Arthritis said speaking through Jaune.
"After I was forced to flee from Valoric I knew I had to do something to make sure the rightful king could reclaim the throne. So with some planning I made it so upon my death the arc family would travel to vale where you would have your most loyal followers with you as well as your symbol should you need it."
Wait in death do you mean?" Pyrrah asked
"I had it on my person the rest of my life." Arthritis said
"Wait so you let your son pickpocket your corpse?" Nora asked
"Essentially. He is the one who built this castle under my instructions. Even if I'm credited for it." Arthritis said.
"Dang…well we have what we're looking for." Oscar said
Before he knelt before Henry arc
"I know I have no right to ask this…but I must…we have very little in terms of hope but hope none the less. Can I ask you to fight by my side one last time?"
After a few moments of silence Henry laughed
"Do you even have to ask Boy?"
Henry stood up
"I Henry Arc son of Grian Arc renew my vow of service to Lord Protector of Lawthoric, Valoric and lastly Vale. Oscar Once known as Ozma…I will fight for you until my death."
Oscar looked up heartful as tears ran down his face.
"Thank you my old firend…" he said
"I shall rally the armies." Henry said
"There is much to do Myself and team JNPR shall make our way back to vale.
"We will meet you there once our armies are together my king."
Oscar nodded "then we shall head off." He said
Oscar and team JNPR made it to the bullhead and flew back to Vale.
(Vale)
Guts sat at the headmaster's desk late at night working on logistics for the buildup of the fleet attack on Salems. Fortress.
The moan of a bullhead flew overhead as Guts looked to see a lone Airship land.
Team JNPR and Oscar had returned.
Guts stood up and headed out of the door.
On the airfield Oscar was helping to unload all the stuff the Arc family had given their son.
"And that is the last bag." Jaune said as he tossed it to Nora who tossed it to Oscar and put it on the ground.
"Phew that's a lot of bags we're going to need a cart to carry all of this stuff."

Oscar shook his head "she's supposed to be asleep at this point I don't want to wake her." Oscar said
He looked up to see the team looking behind him
Oscar looked back to see a lone figure approaching.
It was Guts.
"Something is wrong." Oscar said as he approached guts
They met in the middle and Oscar froze as he saw Guts saddened expression
"Guts?" Oscar asked
"I'm sorry." He said
Oscar paused
"You're up…where is Glynda?" He asked
Guts didn't say anything but he just bowed
"I'm sorry." He said again.
Oscar froze as the rest of the team came up to them
"What happened?" Jaune asked
"A lot of things…I hope you were successful with your family." Guts said
Jaune nodded
"That's good…we will talk about the situation tomorrow. Get some sleep." Guts said as he walked away.
The next day Guts talked to JNPR about Glynda's death and Torchwick being made headmaster
Jaune clenched his fist
"Damn it we shouldn't have left." He said
Nora looked at Jaune Sadly
"Jaune you can't blame yourself for this." She said
"And what? What makes any of this ok?" He asked
Pyrrha grabbed his shoulder "no one is saying anything like that." She said
Jaune sighed. And relaxed
Guts sighed "I'm sorry you had to return to bad news. But you said you had a better experience. What did you find?" Guts asked
Oscar explained the history of the Rhinestone
Guts nodded "yes that will help with leading the change of leadership from yourself to Jaune. However it won't be everything. The symbol of royalty hasn't been used for a very long time. As it is lost lore. Jaune will have to prove himself as a worthy king." Guts said
Jaune stepped forward "oh I plan to, I'm not going to just be an armchair warrior. I plan to fight and take the fight to Salem." He said
Guts nodded "that exactly what I was thinking of for a good leadership showcase." Guts said
"What about now?" Oscar asked
"As of now I'd suggest that Team JNPR stays here to oversee the rally point for the invasion. Myself and Team RWBY will head to Vacuole to retrieve the crown." Guts said
Team JNPR nodded
"Good luck then Guts." Oscar said
Guts nodded and left the office to get at least some sleep before the trip to Vacuole.

Standing over Ranen Branwen body the councilor with the crown took it off.
"That is impressive." He said
"Yes but we need to be careful when we use it otherwise we will be a larger target." Another said
"Not unless we use it for ourselves first." The final one said
"But first we need to figure out who will wear the crown it took a lot of willpower to put it on and not fall for its power. Someone needs to be very strong willed for it." The first councilor said
"I say we vote." The one with the crown said
After the vote it was decided that the councilor who already had the crown would wear it.
"Very well." He said
Suddenly there was a explosion outside
"What the hell is that?" He asked
The other two councilor's opened the window and noticed the Blackarray floating above the city
"It looks like Atlas has found us."
Suddenly the PA system of the Atlas fleet echoed across the city.
"Councilor's of Vacuole we know you have the crown… come out now or we will fire upon you." The voice of Erwin Holland yelled.
[Hours earlier]

Holland sat infront of the screen as he spoke to General Ironwood
"I see are you sure?" He asked
James nodded "team RWBY confirmed it. We now need to consider The vacoule council high risk." He said
Holland nodded "understood move the Atlas fleet out of range of the Council building the Blackarray will approach and apprehend them."
"You don't want backup?" James asked
Holland shook his head "The Blackarray has Anti-magick countermeasures. That the rest of the fleet doesn't. We've haven't gotten a good way to produce it on a mass scale." Holland said
James nodded "alright I'll move the fleet out of the way…when will you move on them?" James asked
"Immediately time is of the essence." Holland said.

[Now] (council chambers)
"Ugh seems like we have no choice…get the Emergency broadcast system activated…"
"You plan to fight the atlas army? With what?" Another councilor said
"Our own." The one with the crown said

On the bridge of the Atlas Flagship James sat in his chair while Qrow stood beside him
"I feel so helpless now just watching the action." Qrow said
"I know Qrow but we're not equipped to handle it Holland is." James said
Suddenly there was a ring across the bridge and echoed through everyone's scroll.
"Emergency broadcast signal?" Qrow asked
"Let's hear it." James said
Qrow activated it and the bridge was covered in a voice.
The same voice was activated across the entire kingdom.
(Blackarray)
"Sir we got a buildup of magic incoming." An ensign said
"Activite that Magic countermeasure's." Holland said
The fleet was cloaked in an shield as the PA blasted from the CCTV across the kingdom.
The message was the same.
"The atlas fleet has declared war on The livelihood of Vacuole all able member's hearing this message are to defend the Justice of the Council at all cost." The voice said before it was no more.
However it was effective.
(ATT Endurance)
Qrow turned to James under the control of the crown.
"What should we do?" He asked
"Sir the council is still under attack." An helmsman said
They looked up to see the Blackarray firing at the council building.
"We follow orders. If they plan to go against the council without a fight they have another thing coming.
James stood up and pointed to the BlackArray
"Execute the traitors!" He said
From the ATT Endurance several missles were shot at the black array.
(Black Array)
Holland stood on the bridge watching the Bombarment of the council building
Suddenly there was an air sire on the bridge
"Sir we're under fire!" A crew man said
"Where is this fire coming from?" Holland asked frantically.
"Friendly fire!" The crew member said
"Countermeasures!" Holland yelled
They just got the hard light shield up on time as the middle impacted.
Holland grunted as he held himself up from the impact.
"Get me comms to the rest of the array!" Holland said
"Your live sir!"
Holland sighed "members of the black array it Appears the crown has entered the field…fight to incapacitate over." He said as he cut the message off
"Any news from the council's?" Holland asked
"No change-."
"Sir another barrage!"
Holland grit his teeth
"Prepare flair countermeasures and prepare to cloak we have to break off the attack and go to ground." Holland said
There was an explosion as several lights in the ship when out as the Black array flagship shook
(ATT Endurance)
General Ironwood and Qrow watched as the Black array flagship started losing altitude and exploded above the city. As everyone cheered.
"That was a bit harsh don't you think?" Qrow asked
Ironwood stood up and addressed the citizens as well as the bridge crew in one fell swoop.
"Anyone found harboring fugitives will be considered a fugitives themselves spare no one of the punishment." Ironwood turned and walked off the bridge
Qrow shrugged at Ironwood's response thinking it absolutely ok as he followed him.
(Holland)
"Is everyone alright?"
"Status?!" He yelled
"Systems coming back online now." An crewmen said
Suddenly the lights of the bridge came back on "status on the fleet?" Holland asked
"We've got contact with them." The crewmen said
"Have we been located yet?" Holland asked
"No sir…orders?" The crew said
"It's the fall of Atlas all over again, this time it's a conspiracy from inside…we need to go to ground and drive them away by hand. Prepare to deploy Sentinel teams. Anyone who doesn't have enhancements are to stay on the ship at all times. And are now on the list of emergency enhancements." Holland said
"Everyone is to make a break for the Desert we need to get out of the city." He said
"Sir we got an IFF tag on radar." A member said
"All airships are grounded at this point, who is it?"
"Weiss Schnee sir." They said
"They don't know about the Atlas Betrayal." Hollands 2ic said
"If they enter the city they will be targeted by James and shot down, there's no question they will see team RWBY as a threat."
"Make way to intercept! Everyone else makes their way to the desert." Holland ordered.
(Team RWBY)
In the bullhead Weiss was flying calmly "we're entering Vacuole airspace." She announced.
"Announce our arrival." Guts said
Weiss nodded and flipped on the transponder.
(Council Chamber)
The three councils looked at the scrolls and noticed the permission from Weiss Schnee to land.
The three councils nodded. They sent a message to James saying team RWBY were considered Priority one elimination targets.
James and Qrow looked at there scroll and looked at each other grimly
They didn't have to like it but they had a job to do.
James walked onto the bridge
"I want eyes on the lookout for an IFF tag from Weiss Schnee." He said
"Sir is something wrong?" A crewman asked
"She's a traitor along with the rest of her team." James said
"Sir…we got an IFF reading matching that of Weiss Heading right for us." Another crew member said
"What?! GET ME A VISUAL!" He said
On the view screen was a lone bullhead flying right towards them.
James smerked
"They're not even changing course…" he said
"Prepare a Quantax missile, let's test out a new toy." James said as he made his fingers into a bridge.
(Holland)
All was quiet on the black array Flagship. They were waiting for shit to go down so they could jump into action.
"Give me location." Holland wanted to know Weiss's ETA.
"5km ahead sir…they will be entering the kingdom's airspace in T minus 30…" a crewman said
"On screen…" Holland said as a timer was displayed on the major view screen
"Alright get us in position between Weiss and Ironwood and prepare shields and countermeasures if needed." Holland said
"Sir, should we prepare a jump?" An officer asked
"No it will just waste fuel but be ready for a quick getaway." Holland said
He officer nodded and ran off to tell others.
Holland looked at the screen T minus 28
Suddenly there was a loud siren on the bridge
"What's that?!" Holland yelled
"Negative dust particles appear's there preping a Quantax missile sir!"
Holland cursed "get us in front of Weiss now! Prepare to drop cloak and open hanger bay 4! Reroute all power to the shields get ready to take a hit." Holland yelled
(Rwby)
Ruby walked up to the cockpit with Guts flying shotgun looking over the city.
"Everything looks so calm…" Ruby said
"Yeah…I don't like it…" Guts said
Suddenly there was a crackling on the radio it was garbled but Weiss could clearly make out the words
"Team…Rwby …do…not…engage…atlas…fleet…"
Weiss was tensed when she heard that and looked back behind her.
"You're not the only one. Everyone Hang on back there." Weiss said as she put emergency systems on the Bullhead.
Suddenly the large Window was now a slit as two shudders came from below and above the cockpit and the entire ship itself got slimmer and nimbler.
James smirked
"…fire…"
"Launched." An atlas soldier said
Holland sat on the bridge and a loud siren was heard
"MISSILES IN THE AIR! MISSILE IN THE AIR!" A crewman said
"COUNTERMEASURES! LETS MOVE!" Holland barked
(Rwby)
Ruby looked out the window
"Umm Weiss…are those ships looking a lot more threatening than they did a moment ago?" Ruby asked
"At least I'm not hallucinating." Weiss said
Suddenly there was a loud beeping and a red light in the cockpit. Making Weiss track the light.
"WEISS!" Ruby screamed
Weiss looked up and saw the missle heading for them.
"Son of a bitch!" Weiss hissed as she prepared evasive actions.
"Decloak! Raise shields!" Holland barked
Suddenly in front of them the large Black array Flagship stood imposing before them there hanger on the bullheads side open and empty.
"What the hell is going on?" Yang asked seeing the massive ship appere right before them.
"I don't know but We're going to find out everyone hang on!" Weiss said as she pushed the ship faster
James watched as the Black array flagship decloaked before them as his face changed to a competent smirk to a horror look
"No!" He gasped
"Return broadside!" Holland barked
Suddenly the ATT Endurance as well as the other Atlas FleetShips were taking a beating as a naval battle occurred over the kingdom.
James just stood frozen in shock as screens exploded and sparked
" ames…"
"Immy…"
"James…"
Qrow tried to shake him out of his daze.
(Rwby)
"Weiss were coming in a little fast!" Ruby said
"I'm not staying here Ruby!" Weiss barked
"Weiss this thing is falling apart!" Blake said as a door just flew off
"It will hold!" Weiss said
"Pull up! pull up!" Yang said as they relized they were going under the hanger.
Weiss pulled up on the Stick and pulled the bullhead up just enough to get most of it into the hanger.
Unfortunately she also clipped the edge of the floor of the hanger making the Bullhead do a Handstand in the air sending everyone around. As the bullhead slid across the hanger on its top before hitting a bumped edge and flipping over again right side up from the monumentum finally coming to rest against the back wall.
(Holland)
"Sir there on board!" A crewmen said
"Punch it!" Holland barked as they shot away to safety
(ATT Endurance)
Standing around the ruined Bridge exposed to the open air James and Qrow stood next to each other as they overlooked the bridge which looked like it had been sheared apart from where they were standing.
(Rwby)
The team and Guts climbed out of the bullhead and found Winter waiting for them with emergency crews to put out the fires
"Winter what are you doing here?" Weiss asked as she found her sister
"Dumb luck saved me." Winter said as the two embraced
"What are you talking about? I thought you were on Ironwood's ship…also why did he attack us?" Weiss asked
"There is much to catch up on." Winter said
"Give it briefly." Weiss said shortly. As the emergency crews helped the others out of the crash
Winter sighed
"The crown has entered the field." She said
Everyone gasped
"Shit we were too late." Yang hissed as she slapped her sides, Guts put a hand on her Shoulder "we will deal with it." He said
Yang nodded guiltily and hung back.
"If you're all ok…Holland would like to see you." Winter said as she lead them to the bridge.
Weiss caught up with Winter to talk to her.
"You didn't explain why your on this ship I thought you were on the endurance." Weiss said
"I got transferred over to here to oversee a project when the Council attacked and used the crown we've been on the run ever since." Winter said
"But…that's Atlas's navy out there! How did-."
"They used the crown…put everything in the kingdom underneath their thrall in one go." Only because we've prototyped an Anti magic barrier is the only reason we were not affected. That and augmentations." Winter said
"Holy shit." Yang swore
"How much of a fighting force are we talking about?" Guts asked.
"The Black Array is untouched. They just caught us by surprise, within a few weeks we will prepare to finish off the Council and break the crown's power over the people." Holland said as he stepped out wearing his Guardsman Armor, his helmet under his arm.
"Team Rwby it's good to see your all alive…please tell me there is good news." Holland said
Ruby nodded "the Arc family is rallying the forces in vale by the end of the month we will have a fighting force enough to rival Salem back when Arthritis was king." Ruby said
"Then we have our timetable then." Holland said
"Not quiet. The month after that we're getting a contingent from Mistral… then Adam from the white fang will arrive from mantle…" Weiss said
"To keep it short we're calling the big guns." Guts said
Holland nodded
"But first we need to deal with this." He said
"And we will." But first…we need to make sure that everyone is safe from the crown." Ruby said
"If we break the crowns influence the people will turn on the Council. They used the crown because they were afraid to lose power." Holland said
"Ok…so we need to find a way to break the crown then we can gather forces for the attack on Salem right?" Ruby said
"That's essentially it yeah." Winter said
Ruby nodded "well…we have one more question…I say we use it." She said
"Any objections?" Holland asked
There were none.
He nodded "alright let's get the lamp to a safe room to use it." Holland said
They walked down a hall and they found Penny sat in a chair taking a nap.
"Penny!" Ruby gasped
Penny looked up and was surprised by the hug but accepted it.
"Oh I've missed you." Penny said
Holland coughed "Penny if you could." He said
Penny nodded "of course." As she waved her hand and the wall started to shift to reveal a hidden room housing the lamp of creation. As well as the Lamp of knowledge.
Ruby looked back at everyone Holland nodded to her as Yang gave her the thumbs up
Ruby took the Lamp off the wall and bought it to a standing table.
"Ruby if you would?" Holland asked
Ruby took a deep breath…
"Jinn?" Ruby said
Ruby watched as the Relic as it floats a short distance away, cyan smoke emanates from it. Suddenly, the lamp is enveloped in the smoke, and from it, a giant, semi-nude feminine figure emerges. Her skin and hair is colored blue, and decorated with gold jewelry and ornaments.
"Hello Ruby Rose…what knowledge do you seek?" She asked
Ruby sighed
"How do we counter the Crowns influence?" Ruby asked
Jinn smiled and after a pause said "unite the four…"
Ruby sighed knowing what she meant…
"Thank you no more questions have a good nap" Ruby said
Jinn floated there almost disappointed
"Well…normally I'd be confined to the lamp for another century but…seeing as the question was so mundane… I'll make an exception…" jinn winked as Ruby as the spirit flew into the lamp once again which automatically attached itself to Ruby's hip.
Everyone looked over to Ruby
Who was looking down
Guts stepped forward
"Ruby?" Guts asked
"I have a plan…" Ruby said

I don't want to end it here but if I don't it's going to be 20,000 words and I'm going to just finish the entire segment in one chapter.
Also about my update schedule I got a new job and it's going to cut into my writing time but I'll do my best to get a solid bit of writing out at least one a month hopefully. Thanks for sticking with this guys hope this was worth it.
