Team RWBY, Guts, Holland and Winter stood around the lamp as Ruby looked up
"I have a plan."

"Ok let's hear it," Guts said
"Well as Holland explained the situation to us, were in kinda a pickle as they have the crown and most of the populace under there thrall. Including The General and Qrow."
"First we need to get James and Qrow free from the crowns influence if we split them away from the group we should be able to incapacitate them without hurting them too much." Ruby said
"Then we can use our technology to free their minds from the crown." Holland said
"But what would Be so important to make it so boy James and Qrow alone will head to where we want them to?" Blake asked
Ruby looked over
"There's only one thing…" she put her scroll on the table and a hologram of a sword appeared
"The relic of destruction…" she said
"Both James and Qrow wouldn't trust anyone else to deal with it as it's so powerful. I agree this will work." Guts said
"Not only that but we will then be closer to getting the 4 together to break the power on the crown." Weiss said
Ruby nodded
"Once the power over the crown is broken humanity should be unified enough that we can call the gods without fear of repercussion. That being said… Guts prepared a contingency strike just in case." Ruby said
"Who should I aim for?" Guts asked
"Death…" Ruby said simply.
Guts nodded
"Alright we got all that settled now the main question is 1 how are we getting back into the city? And 2 where are we going to have our main attack vector from?" Holland asked
"Well to answer the first question is easy…how do the homeless know when to get out of an falling city?" Ruby asked
"Follow the rats…" Holland finished
Ruby nodded
"So any recommendations?" Yang asked
"Like the white fang in vale…warehouse district." Ruby said
"We'll need to send scouts over the walls. Find a way to sneak in without alerting security." Holland said
"We will deal with it Mercury Black did it so can we." Ruby said
"Agreed…you have my vote…" guts said
"I'll follow you always sis." Yang said
"The team sticks together." Blake and Weiss said
Holland nodded "alright we'll cover you give you an opening to sneak in and snatch the sword from under the council." He said
Ruby nodded
(Oscar)
From the Black array a Stealth Gunship flew towards the city.
Ruby And the rest of the team had there armor on and ready there heavy armor plates visibilile
"Alright girls I'm activating the cloak." Ruby said
She flicked a switch and switched on comms
"Command this is Hunter 1- approaching Attack zone vector three preparing to cross over prepare to synchronize over." Ruby said
After a second the response came
"Loud and Clear hunter 1 give us the news to sync and then radio silence over." The command center said
Ruby pressed the button
"Under stood be prepared for your attack run even if you don't get a signal on us." Ruby said
"Hunter 1 are you sure copy?"
"Yes I repeat prepare your attack run even at our expense over." Ruby said
(ATT Endurance)
James stood over a radio with Qrow as they heard the entire conversation.
"Get the fleet in formation to stop them." Ironwood said
"Sir what about them?" The radioman said
"Leave that to me Qrow." James said
"Right behind you jimmy." Qrow said as the two walked away.
(Rwby)
Ruby shut off the radio
"Alright girls it's go time."
Ruby turned on the radio
"Sync!"
Suddenly there was a blip on the Radar on the Atlas flagship.
"Sir."
"It's them." Qrow said
"Can we chase them?" James asked
"There too far away." The radioman said
"Where are they heading soldier?" James asked
"It appears to be shade Academy sir."
"The sword." Qrow said
"No time for interceptors, Qrow!" James said Qrow nodded as they both left
(Rwby)
On the gunship team Rwby looked past to see the arms The Brainwashed Atleasins had to bear
"That's a big fleet." Yang said gulping in fear at them
"We knew this would happen let's hope the rest goes according to plan." Ruby said as they flew past them cloaked
"Looks like no one is following." Weiss said
Ruby said nothing but everyone noticed she tensed up all possible ideas rattled in her head 'is this going to plan? Did they take the bait?'
"Ruby…?" Yang asked trying to broach the subject
"We move on according to plan if we get intercepted fine that just means Qrow and the general are safer sooner. If not they will be freed soon enough anyways." Ruby said
"Umm Ruby…" Blake said
Ruby looked up to see the headmaster of Shade as well as team CFVY and Xanthe standing at the pad
"Shit…prepare for conflict but don't have your weapons drawn when you exit the vehicle." Ruby said
"Got it!" The others copied.
As they landed the gunship shimmered as the Cloak vanished making the others tense but as the doors opened to reveal team RWBY they relaxed
Coco stepped forward
"How's it going Red?" She asked
"Good enough but we're on a time stall." She said
"True enough, let's get inside." The headmaster said
(Headmaster office)
"Wait so your not under the control of the crown?" Weiss asked
"If that was the case do you think we'd bring you here instead of say a more logical place like the prison cells?" Coco asked only to be elbowed by Xanthe
"True enough." Yang said
"I have to ask where us Guts?" The headmaster asked
"Waiting for phase 2." Ruby said simply
"Then let's not keep phase one waiting you can explain on the way." The headmaster said as he pointed to Xanthe and then the door.
Xanthe and CFVY lead team RWBY down to the vault.
"So I understand your going to have to hurt us." Xanthe said as they opened the vault
Ruby nodded "that's for the best we don't want it to look like you just gave in." Ruby said
The others drew there weapons.
"We won't hurt you too much but because it's us…I'm sorry." Ruby said
Coco was shocked "Wait what do you mean by-"
But she knew no more as the fight was over.
Ruby looked over at the fallen Team CFVY and Xanthe.
Ruby turned around
"Let's just get the sword to Emerald and get out of here."
"You think I'm just going to let you do that?" The headmaster said
Ruby turned and noticed him mouth 'just role with it'
Ruby understood they were being watched.
"Yeah…" Ruby said
"And why do you think that?" The headmaster asked
"Because you've already Lost." She finished
"Huh?" the headmaster asked and looked up to see Yang falling on him.
"Hunter 1 evac!" Ruby snapped
Suddenly the cheerful team fell into Deadfaced soldiers and nodded
Ruby opened Crescent rose and sighed "now for phase 2."
(James)
James and Qrow arrived at Shade and landed on the pad Team RWBY just vacacaded
The two ran down to the vault and found Xanthe The headmaster and CFVY defeated. And the sword gone.
"Damn it we just missed them." James hissed
"Yeah but it's not a dead end." Qrow said as he looked to the wall
James saw it.
"Mercury blacks mark when he was a vigilante…" James said
"We have a lead." Qrow said
"That we do." James said
(RWBY)
Team RWBY made it to the warehouse district and found Emerald and Mercury along with the rest of the Fanuas revolutionary's. As they unloaded the airship and saw the rest of the black array in the small Wearhouse or those who were able to remain off the ship without succumbing to the Crowns effects
That said 3 battalions worth of super soldiers is nothing to scoff at.
"Em, I'm surprised your not under the crown." Ruby said as they passed by each other
"Yeah well my semblance is strong enough to break mind control."
"It must've been hard to keep it away from everyone else?" Yang asked
"It was but once I broke it the council didn't follow up with a second blast so I'm able to relax it." Emerald said
"Can we perhaps take this inside Please?" Mercury said
Emerald and Team RWBY headed in and saw the entire army preparing for an offensive
"Black you might need to see this." A man said
Mercury turned to emerald
"I'll see you later." He said with a kiss to her forehead and walked away.
As Weiss, Blake and Yang caught up Ruby noticed Guts was on the rafters thinking
"How are you doing?" Ruby said behind him startling him nearly flinging him off the rafters
"Oh gods Ruby you startled me one second your on the ground next you're behind me." Guts said
Ruby giggled "well at least I can outspeed you." Ruby said
Guts smiled "you never had that issue to begin with." He said
Ruby rolled her eyes "debatable."
"You got the Sword?" Guts asked
Ruby held the sword to Guts
"Good…why are you handing it to me?" Guts asked
"The sword has the ability to smite people however if used improperly or by someone who is unworthy they will fall into a great rage." Ruby explained
"So basically…" guts said
Ruby smiled "like your normal self." She said
Guts caught it and looked at it.
"It's a bit small for my combat style…" guts said
Suddenly the sword began to grow until it was about the size of an Ornate Zwiehander
"…ok point taken." Guts said as the sword Shrunk to a dagger and hung to his side next to his other dagger.
"Shall we get down there and see what everyone is doing? And if we are ready for stage 2?" Guts asked
Ruby smiled "your way or mine?"
"Well mine would end up destroying our only shelter soo." Guts said
Ruby rolled her eyes "you just want to find a reason to get close to me." She said
Guts tilted his eyebrows "and you don't?" He asked teasingly
"Not really…these suits do a really good job at dampening Arousal…" Ruby said but also hiding a blush
Guts rolled his eyes
"Sure." He said
"Oh shut up perv." Ruby said although with her smile it was clear she didn't mean it.
"Hey if your done flirting we can use your input down here sis!" Yang said
Guts and Ruby kissed on the rafters and flipped Yang the bird making the latter Gawk and many more rowdy Troopers cheer
Before finally they vanished into Petals and arrived in the ground floor.
"So what are we talking over?" She asked going serious.
"The attack on the council building." Emerald said
"It's gonna require a lot of troops to take on atlas to give us a window to actually invade." Blake said
"Which will take a lot of time." Weiss said
"Yeah but we have a problem." Mercury said
"What?" Blake asked
"Aside from Qrow and Ironwood coming to-retake the Sword." Weiss said
"Well there's that…but it appears the council is planning to release a blast through the CCTV." Mercury said
"But what's the timeframe?" Ruby asked
"Within the hour." Mercury said
Holland cursed
"With that range then…" Emerald said
"everyone will be under its control in the world…." Ruby said
"We need to stop them before that happens." Holland said
"Agreed but first…Our guests are here…" Ruby said, looking at the door.
(Raid on the compound) (Qrow pov)
James and Qrow breeches at the same time
It happened so quickly
It was black
Then it was light.
The entire Black array was there.
And then…nothing…
(RWBY)
The events were so lackluster both General Ironwood and Qrow were out in one punch as the crumbled to the ground and several Sentinel's tied them up.
"Damn… I didn't get to stretch." Ruby said in a sadnned moan.
"Don't be too sad you will have a chance when we face the council. After all they don't deserve your pity." Holland said before he sighed
"Team RWBY…we don't have time for them to awaken before the signal is sent." Holland looked over to those around him.
"Guts join up with team RWBY and takes out the council. We will hold the ground outside to get you in." Holland said
"Who will guard the Prisoners?" Guts asked
"We will not refer to my uncle as a prisoner!" Ruby snapped but Guts waved it off making Ruby shut up as she realized the time crunch they were on.
"That will be us." A voice said
A man in Goldish tan Guardsman armor stepped out.
Chief officer Sentinel-1 of Blue team.
"Cheif…if I may speak to you for a second?" Holland said
The two Sentinel's walked away and wispered
"Cheif…you do know that James wanted you to take control of Atlas if he was unable to right?" Holland asked
Cheif nodded
"The thing is…I'm not sure how much longer I'm going to live…due to my augmentation the downside is I'm starting to lose all the ability's." Holland said
"You wish to go down swinging." Cheif said
Holland nodded
"I'm going to make the announcement in a bit but I'd like for you to take over as Holland. Or shall it be Cheif Holland?"
Chief nodded "it would be an honor Sir." He said
"Ghost…call me Ghost." The now Ex-general of the Black array said
The announcement was a quick and simple one although not without heartfelt. As as he publicly Transferred control to Chief Holland.
"There yours, Do your people proud." Ghost said
Cheif shook his head "no…there ironwoods men. And we do OUR General proud!" Cheif Holland said
"The council has performed high treason on the State of Atlas. They took our General. Maybe not physically but his mind none the less. Now…it's time to get him back! Atlas stands with us the last hope for the free world!"
"YEAHH!" The arranged men said
"These people are out firends! We will not hurt them but they will fight against us. Shoot to wound but not kill. We will give the opening to end this war." Cheif Holland said
"Get to the ships, we meet them in the air!" Cheif Holland said
And like that Battle of Vacuole had begun
"Now due to the rearrangement of command Blue team is now on the field. We will breech with Team RWBY and split off to secure the rest of the building while they confront the Council." Ghost said as the gunships holding blue team and Team RWBY commucated
"Team RWBY relic check." Ghost said
"Guts with the Sword of destruction." Guts said
"Ruby with the lamp of Knowledge"
"Weiss with the staff of creation."
"What about the other two?" Ghost asked
"Blake covers Weiss" Ruby said
"And I go with Ruby" Yang said
Ghost nodded "then I guess it's time." He said
"Pilot send the signal." Ghost said
The gunship launched a flair which alerted both sides
(ATT Endurance)
"Sir two rebel Gunships making way to Council Building."
The 2ic snarled
"Damn terrorists!" He threw out his hand dramatically
"Launch Interceptors!" "Sir there's more." A crewman said
"Wha?!" He asked as he looked to the unveiled Black array
"Oh shit!" The second in command said
"Incoming!" A crewman yelled as an explosion hit the Bridge a few seconds later.
"This is black-1 we've engaged the enemy!" The comms echoed in the two gunships
"Rodger Black-1 we're making our attack run." Ghost said
The gunships flew down as the AA Grimm cannons started to blast the sky's
"It's to hot!" Weiss said
"Not for our pilots!" Ghost said
The gunships dexterously weaved in and out of the gunfire getting closer and closer
Until disaster struck as ghost heard a scream from Team RWBY's gunship
"Our pilots been killed shit we're going down." Weiss voice screamed
"Crap Follow them!" Ghost said
"Yes sir!" The pilot said
Ghost watched as the other gunships crashed as Team RWBY pulled themselves from the wreck
"Stay in the air and provide Air cover until we're inside stick to the cloak when you can. BLUE TEAM OUT! OUT! OUT! Ghost said as he didn't wait for a response and jumped out the Gunships
The rest of them following.
On the ground only a few huntsman were standing in the way of team RWBY and the council building
They were more skilled than others but nothing compared to Rwby as they were defeated easily
"Team Rwby prepare to breech!" Ghost said
"Breaching!" Ruby said as she kicked in the door.
The on staff security was no match as Ruby jumped over the metal detector and beheaded them making three guards hit the ground.
"Wow Ruby…I thought we were going for wounds?" Weiss said
Suddenly there was a shimmer and it was revealed to be Insurgent guardsman armor.
"Shit!" Weiss cursed
"This got twice as dangerous. Plan doesn't change. Blue team considers all additional contacts hostile. Shoot to kill. Team Rwby do your job." Ghost said
Ruby nodded and turned toward the building
"Rwby Form up!" She said as they charged in the building
They didn't make contact with anyone else but they did see several legions of Security officers heading the other way.
"Ghost watch out you got more contacts heading your way." Ruby said
"Confirmed…BLUE TEAM LOCK AND LOAD!" Ghost said before the line went dead.
Team RWBY Reached the chamber. As Ruby kicked in the door
The three council members looked shocked
"What the-who dares?!" The councilor with the crown snarled as he was just reaching for the scroll which was heavily wired up to the wall.
Before he could get the words out the crown was knocked from his head by Guts who threw a throwing knife.
The councilor was on the ground the crown thrown to the side as he tried to crawl towards it and reach for it
Only for the Dragonslayer to block his path.
"Don't try it buddy." Guts said he looked to see Team RWBY held the others at Sword point.
"Secure." Guts said
"Now with that done." Ruby said before she stepped forward and proclaimed
Ruby stepped forward to look at the three councilor's "we break your spell over the people of Vacuole!"
"That you do…" a new voice said
Everyone froze.
"Guts did you?" Ruby asked
Guts shook his head
Ruby turned
And found both the brother Gods of light and dark floating above them.
"Hello there." God of light.
Team Rwby just looked up in shock as both gods hovered before them.
(Outside)
A bright flash occurred which threw everyone to the ground as they woke up they unknowingly found there minds were clear.
Cheif Holland smiled "they did it." He said
"Chief you need to see this!" A voice said
He came over to the computer and found the entire thing going out of wack.
"Oh shit…" Chief Holland cursed.
(Midland)
Since Guts and team RWBY had left those left in midland had been busy.
Skull knight had taken control of the army and had led them to great victory. Griffith was the figurehead leader fighting with Casca at his side. He was the embodiment of hope in the kingdom. And they fought like it.
Strangely the previously apostles who were loyal to Femto changed sides to Griffith. Rallying behind the idea of hope. Which was something that the idea of evil definitely didn't think was possible.
But it happened.
Now much of everyone was now against the Godhand and the idea of evil.
And they fought to defeat the Godhand in Combat here and now before there plan could occur
They met in the field outside of Falconia. And the fight was the entire army against four Godhand
All the attacks did nothing as they were unphased and with a wave of their hands huge waves of the army were destroyed.
Still Skullknight pushed on "hold the line!" He yelled
"But we can't beat them!" Another member of the army said
"Hope resides in all of us! Do not fall into hopelessness if you do that, Our enemy has already won." The voice of Griffith said it's it echoed in everyone's head
Skull knight watched as even thought who looked mortally wounded stood up again holding there sides but clenching there weapons.
They would fight on
"Hope is with us! Hope is humanity's greatest asset! We fight not for our lives nor for glory but to see a hopeful future!" Skullknight said
"We arm ourselves for battle! the Mary of us leads!
And when the day grows dark and start to rot we'll stand on up again!"
For glory amidst battle pfff I've heard more!
For I'll tell you what and I'll say it much well stand on up again!"
The army chanted
"ARGH!" With a fierce roar the army charged and for one second at one time
Humanity Defined by fate. Dictated by those who they were fighting against. Transcended and broke the chains holding them down by the Godhand and the idea of evil.
The very same soldier who was just seconds ago about to give up was the one to deliver the blow to Void! Shocking the Godhand member
"Im-impossible!" Void roared as he was sent flying
The others were stunned as a lowly human dealt a very near fatal blow onto one of there companions.
Void got up painting but unafraid "it matters not."
"The cacophony of Fate has screeched its voice and there Backing has symbolized the Victor!" Void said
Suddenly four portals opened
"Fare well…Sire…may your great empire rot with you." Void said as he vanished. Along with the other three Godhand
"We…we did it?" The people gasped
Skull knight watched them vanished and inside he was terrified.
He had failed…
"Gather the troops and make your way to Falconia at haste!" Skull knight said as he started to ride off
He had to inform Griffith at once.
(Remnant)
"Hello Ruby Rose…you've done admirably." The God of light said
"Pfff I'd say it's a shame why praise them?" The Brother of darkness asked
"Hush brother…they have done their job." The god of light said
"Humanity isn't united yet brother…" The god of darkness said in a sing-song voice.
"I thought we were going to break the Spell of the crown by uniting the relics. Then the last remains of the opposition say for Salem would be all but memory…but your not supposed to- not yet I mean."
"You didn't think it was going to be one in the same girly?" The dark god said
Ruby fell to her knees sobbing "we've failed…" she said
Guts growled
"We'll get to you in a moment…" the God of Darkness said
"Now normally yes…we did promise that when we returned we would destroy humanity and start again…however-." The god of light said
"Ugh come on brother! Just do it already it's not as if they will remember any of this!" The God of darkness said
"I beg to differ." Guts said stepping forward.
The Dark God looked at him
"And you… you know I have a bone to pick with you." He said
"As do I…" the God of Light said
"You know you had no right to interfere with the plan we had going. Then all of a sudden your ass had to land upon our testing grounds." The God of darkness said
"T-testing grounds?! Is that all we are?!" Yang roared
"Brother!" The god of light hissed
"Oops I spoke to much! Sorry!" He said to his brother but clearly not meaning it.
"Listen…when we left there were…other worlds we populated…all of which we controlled from afar…and we've realized they don't need us to live to them." The god of light said
"Apparently human is human is human! Go figure you can't beat perfection it seems." The god of Darkness said
"But back to you. By all right we should smite you where you stand and continue where we left off…is there anything that you'd like to say before we do that?" The god of darkness said
Guts scoffed
"I've faced down beings far stronger than you. With less effort. It was not my fault for coming uninvited nor did I wish it upon myself but I've found a hole here as well as the fact that those who did send me here have a far greater plan. And ridding yourself of me is last hope you have to stop it." Guts said
Suddenly the God of darkness laughed
"Hahaha foolish human pretending to understand things far larger then you…very well…if you won't beg for your life." The god of darkness said as he hand begun to glow
"Brother…" the God of light said
"Huh?!" The god of darkness said looking up
And Five portals were shone behind team RWBY and Guts.
Guts growled and was nearly sent to his knees
"Oh no." Weiss gasped
"When we met you said you pitied me…" a voice said
"Impossible…" The god of Darkness snarled
"Now look how the tables have turned!" Salem said as she exited from the portal along with the Other Members of the Godhand.
"W-what is this?" The god of light said
"Eons of planning calculations and a hint of Divine machinations all culminating into this." Void said
"Oh dear the look on your faces. Don't be so surprised…you're only just Surface gods there's no way you could have known." Slan said
"What are you? How are you?! What are you doing?!" The Brother gods gasped
"Allowing you to transcend just as I have." Salem said
"We need your powers." Ubik said
"And we will get it." Conrad finished
"Welcome to the fold! As new members of the higher race! The better race! The Godhand!" Salem said
"NO!" Guts roared
The 5 members of the Godhand looked down at them as the brother Gods looked at Guts in Awe!
"If you think! For one fucking moment! I'll just sit here and let you do this?!" Guts stood up and drew Dragonslayer.
"Your gonna have to carve my head in first!" Guts roared
Salem ticked
"So be it…" Salem said as she raised her hand and powered an attack.
"G-guts can we win?" Ruby asked
"We have no choice…we have to!" Guts said
"No there isn't." Salem said
Guts charged roaring as he prepared a swing of dragonslayer at Salem who raised her hand.
SNAP!
Dragonslayer passed by harmlessly
They were gone…
The Godhand The brother Gods…Salem.
The dragonslayer clattered to the ground as Guts stood frozen
"Fuckkkkkkkk!" Guts roared
Suddenly there was chatter on the radio
"Hunter-1 come in Hunter-1 do you copy?!" A voice of Ghost said
Ruby picked up the receiver
"This is team Rwby what's up?" Ruby said
"What's up what do you mean what's up the brainwashing over the population has dispersed but then you vanished we've been trying to contact you for an hour!" Chief Holland said
Everyone looked shocked
Ruby screamed into her mic "TELL EVERYONE TO HIGHTAIL IT TO VALE EMERGENCY CODE BLACK NINE REPEAT BLACK NINE GET YOUR ASSES TO VALE ASAP!" She roared before she hung up
"We move now! We cannot let the Godhand get control over the brother gods not with what we know now." Ruby said
And with that Team Rwby vanished.
(Salems Cathedral)
The Godhand arrived at Salems cathedral and the Godhand took them to a separate room to forcefully integrate them.
Void stays behind to talk to Salem
"Why didn't you fight him he is just a mortal…" void asked
"Believe me those are not mortals…I've already fought them once…" Salem said
"And?" Void asked
"I died…" Salem said simply.
"It will take time to break the brothers in." Conrad said
"Time we do not have work faster!"
"You think this is our first time doing this?!"
"You don't understand already the humans are a massing an army to retake this and free the gods! If they do."
"They will not I will make sure of it you Salem will hold the line." Void said
"I'm… not sure I can…" Salem said
"Then delay, them I don't care what you need to do, do it." Void said as he strode out the room.
(Vale)
Jaune and Oscar stood on a balcony in Beacob looking over the rising sun
"I don't think I'm worthy of being a king." Jaune said sighing
"Oh Jaune…" Oscar said with a chuckle next to him
"Listen here's a hint from my travels and my rule that I've had as king.
"Greatness doesn't come from within as a human or ruler. To do so will only lead to hubris. Instead Strive…be the best person you can be. Then the rest will follow. Follow your gut and do well for the people. For its up to them to decide weither or not if you were a good king…or if there was more you could have done." Oscar said walking away.
"Cheeky bastard…" the voice of Arthritis said in Jaunes ear.
"Why I thought it was good." Jaune said
"I'm not saying it's wrong and that's the point I could've told you that." Arthritis said
"Huh?" Jaune asked
"He got that qoute from me…" Arthritis said
"Oh I um…listen about the advice." Jaune said
"I understand…you don't want to be seen as someone who is just trying to mirror your forefather's you want to strive for your own path. And I get that. After all I didn't have the amount of help I did when I was king…"

"Listen son…you are a great king in heart. After all it's why I've bonded to you and no one else. You do what you think is right and I'll throw all my effort behind it." Arthritis said
behind them a loud horn was heard as Jaune looks out to see on the Docks a fleet of naval and air ships with Mistral flag
"Looks like the Mistral armadas are here." Oscar said smiling
"Loyal as always." Arthritis beamed
Suddenly the door open Jaune turned smiling thinking it was an envoy from the Mistral fleet
"MESSAGE MESSAGE URGENT!" A man said as he threw himself down before both Oscar and Jaune.
"Urgent news! Team Rwby! Urgent code Black nine rally in Vale Urgent code BLACK NINE!" He said
Both men froze
"WHAT?!" Oscar gasped
Jaune spun around
"This is it." He said
'Whatever you choose…'
Oscar stood up
"I'll get the orders and prepare to mass Vale's fleet and await Atlas." Oscar said
"Oscar wait." Jaune said suddenly making him freeze.
"Huh?" He said
"I want you to give me the orders to lead…" Jaune said
"The…orders?" Oscar thought out loud.
(Mistral)
"Sir we've been given permission to dock."
"Very well lead us in." The headmaster/ Grandmaster of the Knights of the Myst said
"SIR NEW ORDERS! We're to await the rally of Atlas forces and immediately set off to the dark lands!" The second messager said
"What do you mean did they say who?!" The grandmaster asked
Suddenly there was a loud boom as the bridge crew looked up
And in the sky two massive Airfleets hung over the sky of Vale blotting out the sun.
As well as an armada of Vacoule Ships both old and new
Both the Black Array and The Atlas fleet hung over the armada like a guardian angel.
"That's…not the Atlas main fleet…" the grandmaster said
"No sir I think it's larger than that." The 2ic said
Suddenly a voice was heard as it's voice was projected across the kingdom "attention forces of humanity… this is Ruby Rose speaking." Ruby said
On the ground Adam Tarus watched with his white fang as Atlas fleet hung in the sky.
"the Civil war of Vacuole has ended. The traitorous Council is no more! However forces under the banner of Salem have moved up there plans.
"We are in the final moment's of freedom and complete annihilation. Black nine has been declared!
Any and all peoples Fanuas! If you wish to fight for freedom what it means to be apart of humanity and for hope! Rally with the Army and we take the fight to Salem now! By the time the Sun sets today we move against Salem! Anyone who is not here by then will be left behind and put in charge of giving us a home to return to, all commanding officers should report to Beacon Headmaster's office to get there orders and briefings for the assault that is all." Ruby said as he cut off the PA.
Oscar looked over "well…she certainly has a way with words." He said
Jaune looked in the distance and noticed a bullhead flying towards them
"Let's go Ruby will be here soon

Oscar and Jaune stepped forward and found Team RWBY and Guts standing behind the desk with the rest of the beacon staff.
"Is this everyone?" Oscar asked
"Everyone who is important for this offensive yeah." Ruby said
Oscar looked around and noticed several important members
Kali and Ghira Belladonna, as well as Sienna Khan Argurl. Followed up by Adam Tarus of the white fang.
And that's not to mention the Grandmaster of the knights of the Myst.
"The Mistral Section is here in full." The grandmaster said
Oscar nodded "And may I just say it's an honor to serve with you again." He said
"Likewise my lord." The grandmaster said
"Who is coming from Vacoule?" Jaune asked
"Only the Academy and any huntsman we can spare from there." Ruby said
"Not just." A voice said as Mercury and Emerald Stepped forward.
"You can say we represent the Vacoule liberation army," Mercury said
Emerald rolled her eyes "always a flare for the dramatic's." She said
"What?" Mercury asked Emerald.
Ruby smiled "Jaune is there any word about Vale's force?"
"My father is coming in." Jaune said
Suddenly the door opened and the Arc Patriarch stepped in Exausted
"Very well. It's time we go over troop arrangements for the battle." Weiss said
"What's the major general plan?" Jaune asked
"Same as the first invasion but this time were being an occupation force." Ruby said
"That's a tall order…" Jaune said going through the memories of his ancestor about the battle.
"We will deal with it. But we have no option." Ruby said
"But why why such drastic measures?" Oobleck asked
"I have to concur, what are you not telling us." Roman Torchwick said
Ruby explains the events with the gods.
"In the end we've failed. This is our last drastic action to save the world." Ruby said
"Then it's a repeat of last time then." Jaune stepped forward his Aura resonating across the room it was clear he was using the power of Arthritis
"My lord!" The grandmaster fell to his knee as did the rest of the knights

Jaune smiled "thank you, I hope I don't disgrace it."
He sighed "for now I need numbers. What size forces are we looking at."
The Grandmaster said "I've gotten 150,000 knights of graduation level huntsman the best of the best of all 4 years at my school, with the teacher staying behind for home defense.
"The white fang will act as Standard military personnel I'll lead them myself if I have to." Adam said
"Nonesense ." Ghira said
"All five of us will lead." He said
Cheif Holland we've gotten 3 Sentenel battalions composed of 5,000 men each fully suited up and we've gotten an additional 5 battalions of Special Forces units each composing of 10,000 each
"So 65,000 atlas forces." Ruby said
"Per task force." A voice said as James Ironwood walked in
"It's completed then?" Holland asked
James nodded "just finished." He said
"Where is Qrow?" Guts asked
"Still recovering." James said
"How many task forces do you have?" The grand master asked
Each fleet is comprised of 5 task forces one standards Atlas troops that I will lead and Cheif Holland will lead the black array." James said
"650,000 troops"
"Super soldiers. Which can count for ten standard infantry. We have 3 times that for the regular Atlas army."
"1,950,000 men at arms?" The teachers gasped
"That's not nearly enough." Ruby grumbled to herself. The rest of team RWBY nodded
"How about androids? And Armored division?" Ruby asked
"About the same for Paladins units we have for super-soldiers, the Androids…I've made the executive order and pulled all previous models back into service
We're looking now about 30,000,000 androids I plan to bolster into standard army." James said
Ruby sighed a powerful buffer but probably not enough to push through.
"We need at least 100,000,000 people to break the line
"Then you have 3 times that with the White fang added" Adam said
"And then 5 times after that from my Rebel forces.." Mercury followed up.
"Wha-h-how did it get so big?" Roman asked
Mercury shrugged "fighting for a good cause it seems." He said
Ruby nodded
"Do we have enough ships to transport them?" She asked
"If we have the staff we can make more easily." James said
"We do… but it's weak Due to the gods, it m probably won't survive the use." Guts said holding out the staff letting its ethereal glow fill the room
"Then it will be enough." James said nodding letting the effect fully fade into a calm finally Cheif Holland Spoje up
"You better start then. Apparently we're getting a huge turnup for volunteers." He said as he looking at his Wrist mounted Scroll
"It was the same last time too." Ruby said
"Yeah but did we have so much?" Blake said
Ruby shook her head "no…we had less and it we were barely at a standstill."
"That begs the question, what about equipment?" Roman asked
"The white fang will handle equipping any civilians who want to fight but can't pay for gear." Adam said
"Thank you Adam, that means a lot." Weiss said
"Of course Ms Schnee." Adam bowed
"How will we be grouped up?" The grandmaster of the Myst asked
"All huntsman will be grouped up into one solid force they are Special forces to an extent. They will be lead by huntsman. Only." Ruby said
"Who will lead them?" The headmaster of shade asked
"That would be me." Oscar said stepping forward.
Everyone nodded
"Oscar will also be considered the second in command of the entire operation." Ruby said
As for the civilians and troops not considered Huntsman class. They will fight on the front lines along side the Atlas military. With the rest acting as Divisional support.
What about the Black array?" Cheif Holland asked
"Your to deploy the Sentenel teams only as a last resort or once we decide to punch through there lines and make our way up to the Salem and her fortress." Ruby said
"That begs the question What about you five?" Grandmaster asked
"As stated before Oscar and Jaune with Team JNPR will lead the main forces, team RWBY and myself will Cut our way through and deal the final blow to the Salem once and for all." Guts said
"And what about the Grimm? Especially here at home." Jaune asked
"That's the thing… within 24 hours there have been no sightings even Grimm nests have been abandoned apparently it's the first time we've been able to see it but there are Grimm pools all around the forest." Roman Torchwick said
"We will clear them out later but first with that information it's clear the Grimm have Pulled back to the darklands
"But whatever for?" Oobleck asked shocked
"It's clearly that the Grimm are preparing for a siege." Ruby said
But…that's impossible, Grimm don't fight that way they never have." Oscar said
"They do under the control of a Godhand…" Ruby said
"Wait what?!" Everyone gasped
The teachers looked at each other all of them thinking the same thing
'What the fuck are we facing?'
Even JNPR was shocked.

Salem sat at her Throne as she watched several flickering lights dance around her fingers.
Suddenly the door opened
"You wished to see us, your Grace?"
Salem looked up to see 3 men of shadows standing tall and one heavily armored super soldier in bone white armor looking like his suit was made from Grimm
"Yes…it's good to see you again Marko…"
"My men are ready to take up arms for the defense." He said

"Good go then I want you on watch on the beaches." Salem said

As Marko shut the door her smile faded "I don't trust him… the rest of you will take a third of the already created Army and Lead the counteroffensive of the island I have no doubt Marko will not be there on the beaches to hold the line that will be up to you." Salem said
The first one to the left knelt on one knee.
"Madam I don't mean to be rude but we only have 1 million Grimm to hold the line. And if what you say is true then our forces will fall within days…" he said
"It's only days we need… after all each day millions of new Grimm are created and sent to the battlefield so by the time your second wave of reinforcements arrive it should be safe to assume you should have the numbers to hold off the beach indefinitely…right?" Salem asked
"I…um-yes madam." The grimmman said
Salem smiled
"Good now prepare." Salem said
The three grimmmen left leaving Salem alone.
Suddenly she swiped her hand down and made a portal which flew at her as she passed though it.
And was levitating in interstice
"You will join us!" The voice of Void roared
"You…will never arghhhhh corrupt our creations." The god of light said as he let out another roar of Agony
Next to him the God of Darkness was also being tortured
"The…Grimm will never submit to you…" he said panting
"Oh ho ho ho is that true? Well then." Slan said as he looked over "oh hello sister." She said
"Ah would you like to join us in the breaking of these so called Divines?" Conrad asked

Everyone looked stunned at the news they were hearing they really were on their last legs.
"We have no choice it's a do or die moment." Guts said

Suddenly there was a ring on the scrolls
"Oh, it looks like the Vale grand Fleet is ready." Oscar said
"Wait grand fleet?" Cheif Holland asked
They looked to the left side of the office
And found a massive fleet of bullheads flying past the tower
"Holy shit." Roman said
"You honestly didn't think I'd give the title of largest military away and have my own countermeasures prepped did you?" Oscar asked smug
"H-how many ships are there?" James asked awestruck
"250,000,000 that's three times the confirmed number of Aviation Grimm there are." He said
Suddenly there was an airhorn
"Oh and so is the navy." Oscar said
"What navy?" Jaune asked
"Why a new craft I planned to show…a mobile runway for airships." Oscar said
"But most aircraft take off Vertically why do we need?"
Suddenly several fixed wing aircraft flew past breaking the sound barrier.
"James you know this more than anything Fixed winged Aircraft have much greater speed potential against Rotation winged Aircraft which is especially good for Dogfighting.
"How much of a fleet do we have?" Jaune asked
"The reason why for the past 5 years Vale was the massive hub of shipping and air flights was due to this…not only that but due to some advanced computers Salvaged from the Battle of the highway a few years ago which a Atlas Paladin was scrapped we were able to reverse engineer an Autopilot system Training course meaning in we have any person in Vale, Vacoule, Mistral or Mantle, the ability to be a Fighterpilot with us."
"Sorry James." Oscar apologized to James
"Don't worry about it, we cracked Auto pilot systems a while ago we just didn't seem the need to Equip civilians with the tech. If I had known of this I'd have given you our models so you didn't have to go though all the R&D." James said

"Because while the fixed wing Aircraft is superior to Dogfighting. The G-forces used are to strong therefor only already trainied pilots will fly the new craft. And everyone else will join the bullhead fleet." Oscar said
"Ok so let me get a clear number here Naval forces for Vale are.
"Military ships are around 20,000 Mobile Laubchpads leaves 5,000 jets per Carrier and 20 carriers to go around kingdom alongside the Mobile task forces that go with it." Oscar said
"Wait what?" Cheif Holland asked
"Well the carriers are very easy targets so there are around 30 other naval craft that are used to cover the Carriers
"18 destroyers/Subs. 8 support craft, and 4 Carriers per group and at least 4 AA boats around each carrier to give Covering fire in case of Grimm attack.
Everyone was shocked
"That's 5 Fleets right there holy shit that the strongest naval force we have."
"Do we have any other older Ships?" Ruby asked
"No…it took a lot to build these and many of the older craft from before were scrapped to help construct these ships." Oscar said
"It's fine." Guts said
"Right so Vacuole has an fleet of 230 ships for civilian transport's." Modified from Which are outfitted for Grimm counters and hold 10,000 people on one ship." Ruby said half are naval, half are aircraft?
"That's accurate, yes." The Headmaster said
"And Mistral has a fleet of 540 flying civilian transports and 1,200 military floating Gallys from prewar times right?" Ruby asked
"Yes but that's only The craft the knights have brought. I don't know how The white fang has bolstered that?" The Grandmaster of the Myst said
"We've gotten 2,000 Floating craft repurposed cruises. And several Shipping Vessels outfitted for war all naval we don't have an Airforce except 1 or two bullhead's.
Our naval fleet post legality hasn't changed nor did we see a need to upgrade."
"How many people can we fit in the Shipping vessel's?"
Ruby asked
"We have an idea to modify shipping crates into workable landing craft so 5,950 landing craft capable of carrying up to 1000+ comfortably but Isuspect they will be perfect for androids or holding 4 paladins. per transport container and we have 10 ships." Adam said which we can break out into 2 fleets
"Dang this is looking as if we are not going need every ship." James said
"We will general we will." Ruby said before going back to the list
So for Mistral forces we have 3,740 ships with 550 civilian transports totaling to about 5,500,000 troops
Yang whistled "talk about the weight of humanity." She said "that's not even close Yang." Ruby said as she kept going
"For atlas you have no naval force but your Airforce is extensive. With 2 Air fleets made up of 5 task forces about 30 ships each so that's 300 Air carriers how many gunships do each Carriers hold?" Ruby asked
"The Atlas Standard fleet it armed with 250 smaller Manta Craft. And 450 larger craft.
"The Black array has its own aircraft forces. Shadow hawk XK-5. Stealth Aircraft we have 800 per Fleet ship." Cheif Holland said
"And you have 30. That's 24,000 aircraft." The grandmaster said in awe.
Ruby nodded "so Atlas has 24,700 interceptors.
So all total for the Grand Army of Humanity our forces total to this
So for Aircraft we've got a total of 250,424,955.
About 250,640,700 interceptors
300 Aircarriers
And the rest are civilians transport's mixed roles." Ruby said
"For naval we've gotten 29,407 ships in total, much of them The Vale Grand Naval fleet task forces.
And then for ground forces we've gotten 1,500,000,000 Volunteers. And For professional troops we've gotten 41,210,000
"For huntsman we've gotten about 5,000,000 globally." The Arc patriarch said
Ruby nodded "that gives us a total of 1,546,210,000."
"For armor support is 650,000 total in paladin's in 10 divisions, 500,000 Spider droids. In 5 bregades
"The black Array has developed all terrain transports as well. As it's own version of Armor capable of in theory working in space as it does not run off dust." Cheif Holland said

"We've modified 1,000,000 HVB's to be Cold resistant and have a front mounted Machine gun
And another line of the XK models is an Armored Car/Truck totaling about 5,000."
That gives us a total of 2,155,000." Vehicles." Ruby finished
"A fine numbers." Guts said

"Once again I'll run through who will lead each section of the grand army of remnant.
On its own each kingdom is in charge of their own personal army arrangements.
However there are several who have capacity above that Those being Qrow Brenwen, James Ironwood, Oscar pine, Jaune Arc, Henry Arc, Headmaster Rolpole, Grandmasters of the Myst Eric, Team RWBY and Guts." Ruby said
"And who is going to lead each division?" Roman asked
"The regional military's will be in charge of there organizations just so long as it's standardized I don't care." Ruby said
"That's a tall order red." Roman Torchwick warned her
Ruby spun around snapping off
"What do you want from me?! Last time I did this we were using knights in armor huntsman weren't invented yet? Infact we created huntsman to help the effort invading the islands! I'm not a military genius!" She said
"Ruby." Guts said grabbing hold of her shoulder
Ruby sighed "I'm sorry it's just… so much is riding on this I… I don't know what to do if it goes wrong." She said
"We understand Ms rose so instead of trying to shoulder the entire war effort on your back why not have others help you." Professor port said
"Each regional Army will be led by a leader on the ground." Oobleck said as a suggestion
"I vote My father to lead for Vale." Jaune said
"I second this decision." Oscar said standing up.
Ruby sighed
"Very well. Atlas who is your ground control?" Ruby asked
"I vote Winter Schnee." James said
Chief Holland nodded
"And the black array who will lead the Sentinel's?" Ruby asked
"Who else?" Cheif Holland asked making its obvious
"Blue team is alive?" Weiss asked in shock
"You didn't know?" Chief Holland asked
"We didn't get a word of them once we came back we thought they died fighting." Blake said
"They all survived unscathed but yeah they took a beating." Cheif Holland said
Ruby nodded
"Ok well I guess from Mistral it's obvious."
The grandmaster stepped forward "I will lead the Knights of the Myst myself. And the White fang has there Command." He said
Ruby nodded
" Mercury and Emerald, I assume you're leading your Faction?" Ruby asked
"Do you need to ask, kid?" Mercury gave a smile
Ruby smiled
"Alright let's get the everyone ready. We've got a war to win." Ruby said

Holy shit that was long I didn't expect this to balloon I thought I'd have this out 2-3 hours ago nope!
We're coming up on the Finale of Arc 2 the Second battle of The Darkland. Now unlike the previous part where I broke it up into sections the battle will have one individual chapter per day. These will be dense with action, think the original battle but with an update on each faction. And you can see how epic this second war will be I don't know how long it will take to publish but I will start working on it tomorrow. I have most of Day 1&2 planned out already
