Disclaimer: Head Over High Heels is by Carolyn Dawn Johnson. CSI is owned by CBS. But you already knew that.

Sara was in love. There was no doubt about it. The way her heart skipped a beat every time she saw him. The way her stomach filled with butterflies whenever he spoke. The way she could hardly breathe whenever she thought about him. The way she stuttered whenever she started talking about him. She was head over heels in love with Nick Stokes. His infectious grin, carefree spirit, and charm were enough to make any woman fall in love with him. Yet, it was Sara that he chose.

She flicked on the radio and heard the undeniable beginning of Head Over High Heels by Carolyn Dawn Johnson. It was a song she'd heard many times while listening to the radio when Nick drove them places.

I've fallen, yeah I've fallen before
I thought I knew exactly what was in store
When I met him, got more than I bargained for
I'm not overstating, over exaggerating
Horsing around or playing
When I'm saying I've...

Sara let go and started belting out along with the radio.

Gone off the deepest end
Not jumping, diving in
He's a perfect 10 times 10 times 10
And I'm head over heels
No, I'm head over high heels

She bobbed her head and drummed her fingers on the steering wheel.

I'm dreaming, in colors I've never seen
My heart is bursting wide at the seams
I've taken my smiling to the extremes
All my friends are wondering
They think I'm up to something
I say "Oh it's nothing"
I'm just in love and I've...

And now she started swinging her head around in beat to the music, totally letting herself go.

Gone off the deepest end
Not jumping, diving in
He's a perfect 10 times 10 times 10
And I'm head over heels
No, I'm head over high heels

I'm not happy,
I'm ecstatic
I'm not a lunatic
Just a fanatic
You might think I'm overdramatic
Not me

Gone off the deepest end
Not jumping, diving in
He's a perfect 10 times 10 times 10
And I'm head over heels
No, I'm head over high heels

Sara shook her head. High heels put degenerative stress on the hip joints, throw off the curve of the spine, and the tilt to the pelvis, and that over time, women get headaches, sore backs, shortened calf muscles and, of course, bunions. Sara didn't wear high heels.

But if she did, she'd be head over them.

Author's Note: Okay, so that was short, random, and really pointless, but I felt like writing it. If you click the little purple button down there, type a few words, and click "Submit", I'd be pretty happy. Maybe even head over heels.
