Chapter one Back on Lumen
Iron Blade landed his ship on Lumen, in front of the still damaged cave where the lumen used to be in hiding.
The Knight of Cybertron stepped out of the ship and walked over to the desolate village.
"Hello! Is anyone here!?" asked Iron Blade in the language of the lumen.
No one answered the grey, black, and white Cybertronian, so he continued to walk through the village until he reached the passage that would lead him to the place the Autobots stayed before their last battle with the terrorcons.
When Iron Blade entered the large underground room he immediately started looking for the Matrix of Leadership.
He searched for breems, looking under and behind the storage room's contents, finding nothing for his efforts. He felt along every wall for loose stones until one large rock budged.
Under his faceplate guard, the Knight of Cybertron gave a slight smile, then he lifted the rock from it's place in the cave wall.
Seeing nothing, Iron Blade frowned, and placed the rock back over the secret pocket in the wall.
"You won't find it here," said the luman in the entrance to the storage room.
Iron Blade turned to face the entrance of the room. The elderly luman Chief stood there, leaning on his cane.
"This is where I was told I could find the Matrix of Leadership."
"We moved it," said the old luman.
"Where is it now?" asked the Knight of Cybertron.
"In the terrorcon hive," the elderly luman Chief told him.
"You mean the former terrorcon hive," said Iron Blade as he left the room, and started walking down the passage to his ship.
"Why have you returned? I told you to leave."
"I returned to retrieve the Matrix of Leadership, and I will be here until I have retrieved it."
The elderly luman frowned. "Fine, but when you find it, take it and go."
"Agreed."

Iron Blade exited his ship. He looked out across the once great battlefield, that now held the weight of all the fallen heroes of the Lumen War. The Knight of Cybertron drew his sword and leaned on it as he got down on one knee.
Iron Blade stayed in that position for about a klick in honour of the dead.
When the grey, black, and white Autobot rose to his pedes, he walked between the rows of graves until he reached the foot of the mountain.
Iron Blade looked up at the first cave entrance, and proceeded to climb in. He ignited his flaming sword because there was little light in the dark tunnels.
Suddenly, he heard a noise, like someone had fallen or stumbled.
The Knight of Cybertron slowly walked in the direction of the noise. A few klicks later, he arrived at the entrance to a throne room.
There was a large mech sitting in the throne with his helm bowed low, and he held something tightly in his servos.
It was so dark that Iron Blade could not quite make out who was sitting in the throne, so he slowly stepped closer.
Suddenly, Iron Blade knew exactly who the large mech was. "Hun-Gurrr," he said under his breath.
Hun-Gurrr stood, still holding tight to what he was holding. "I did not expect to see another living Cybertronians trapped in here."
"I'm not trapped. I entered this mountain by my own free will," replied the Knight of Cybertron. "How are you still alive? I killed you."
"Correction, I cannot be killed, and no, you did not kill me."
"Then why did the Terrorcon War end?"
"It ended because Soundwave split the terrorcon enigma in half, destroying it's physical form."
"Soundwave!?" yelled Iron Blade in disbelief.
"Yes, you did not deal the final blow. When you thrusted your sword into my chest, you only cracked the enigma, causing it to be only crippled. Then Soundwave, who had never been a terrorcon this whole time, dealt the final blow by shoving your sword the rest of the way through the terrorcon enigma, and destroyed it," Hun-Gurrr explained. "But he did not get away with it completely, hence him being dead."
Iron Blade stood there still in slight disbelief. "So why are you still alive if Soundwave destroyed the terrorcon enigma?"
"Because he only destroyed the enigma's physical form. After that happened, I was remade again, but this time would be the last, for I can no longer revive without the enigma," said the former terrorcon king.
"So I just have to kill you one last time, and you'll be finally dead this time?" Iron Blade asked.
"Afraid so."
"Why would you tell me that then?"
"Because I am as strong as I was when I was first created. The more terrorcons I make the more my power is spread thin. Because there are no other terrorcons besides me, I have every ounce of my terrorcon power inside me, so there is little chance you can just beat me in a fight again," explained Hun-Gurrr.
"If you are so powerful alone, then why didn't you just conquer Lumen alone?" asked the Knight of Cybertron.
"Because I wouldn't have been able to fight all the Cybertronians alone, I would have been killed easier that way then with an entire army to fight back with me."
"Makes sense," said Iron Blade. "What are you holding?"
"The matrix of Leadership," replied Hun-Gurrr.
The Knight of Cybertron froze, "What are you planning to do with it?"
"Well, I can't use it because I am not the chosen Prime, and I cannot destroy it, for it is indestructible. So as far as I am concerned it can stay with me so no one else can use it's power."
"I was sent here by Vector Prime to retrieve the Matrix of Leadership, so hand it over!"
"I'd rather not."
"Fine, have it your way," said Iron Blade, "I brought down so many terrorcons during the Terrorcon War, so what's one more?" Then he charged at Hun-Gurrr, sword swinging.
The former terrorcon leader roared as he was sliced in the fore-servo.
Iron Blade stepped back as Hun-Gurrr fell to his knees. "What was all that too powerful to be killed talk!?"
"What's happening to me? It's like I can't fight. The Matrix of Leadership is keeping me from fighting back!"
"Then it's doing it for a reason," said Iron Blade, then he raised his sword and hacked off Hun-Gurrr's helm.
The once great terrorcon leader was finally killed.
The Knight of Cybertron picked up the Matrix of Leadership and walked out of the former terrorcon hive. He stopped and stood in the entrance looking down at all the graves. Then he continued walking towards his ship.
When Iron Blade was about to step into his ship, he turned to look back at the graves of all those who were buried there. Then he looked over at the terrorcon mountain, wondering if Hun-Gurrr was really dead.
Then he turned back and walked into his ship.

Iron Blade set a course for Cybertron, and took off, leaving the planet of Lumen behind him. Suddenly, Unicron came out of hyperspace and blocked the Knight of Cybertron.
Iron Blade had heard stories of the great planet eater.
In a loud, deep voice the huge Unicron spoke to Iron Blade, "Do you know why Vector Prime sent you to retrieve the Matrix of Leadership?"
The Knight of Cybertron replied, "To bring it back to Cybertron, so it can choose the next Prime."
"That is not why you were sent here. Vector Prime said that the age of Primes is over."
"Then why was I sent to get the Matrix?"
"Because it is Primus' life source. When the war started Primus gave Orion Pax his life source, for Primus knew that the war would last for a shorter time if he was dormant. Causing energon to stop flowing from the planet's core," explained Unicron.
Iron Blade replied, "Are you telling me that Primus has been dormant for almost ten vorns!?"
"That is precisely what telling you," replied Unicron.
"Did you come here just to tell me this, or did you come here to eat Lumen and just happened to catch me on your way?" asked the Knight of Cybertron.
"I eat one planet every vorn, so I have no need to destroy Lumen, at least not at this present time."
"What are you going to do with me since I carry the life source of your arch enemy?"
Unicron waited a few astrokliks before answering, "Let you go."
Confused but happy with that answer, Iron Blade watched Unicron turn and jump back into hyperspace.
Then Iron Blade reset his course for Cybertron and also jumped into hyperspace.
