The Eye of the Tiger
I followed Tigerclaw's scent, just as I planned,
But, unbearable pain, as I got slammed,
I fell sideways, my leg hurt bad,
I could feel sadness, but I was also mad,
All I could do was lie on the ground,
Then I looked around,
I don't know if I was wrong or right,
But, I think I saw dark eyes, leering in the night,
An amber glow, of darkness and satisfaction,
and All I could do was lie on the ground,
The eyes burning a hole in me,
from up in a maple tree,
Then I saw a smile,
A smile so cruel,
I watched for a while, but fell asleep,
I felt myself weep, and weep,
and All I could do was lie on the ground,
I heard the padding of feet, a warming sound,
I looked up and saw,
Fireheart and Tigerclaw,
Their gaze made me turn away,
But one stare made me want to leap, astray,
and All I could do was lie on the ground,
I tried my best but fell, pain shooting through my legs,
It was him who did this to me,
Him who made me be,
to hit a monster, to let me die,
Why Tigerclaw, why?
