Hey there people! I guess most of y'all must've been waiting. As I said, Ben will definitely be showing up in this chapter_ but not right away. Captain marvel's former story will continue then somewhere along the line, Ben gets in it.

The Resurrection

Carol stood there on that sidewalk after realising her predicament. It seemed like she had made the biggest mistake of her life, but truth be told, it was actually the biggest mistake of her life. People all aroud her were staring at the huge hole the figure had made at the top of the kryptonian ship that landed some months ago, and she couldn't help but want to see it for herself.

"I've gotta go find out what's going on before I loose my mind." And with that, she flew towards the area where the figure was.

When she got there, she saw that the figure was slowly descending to the ground. She decided to stay afloat high above to watch the figure's movements. The figure was a man , a very muscular man at that, with black hair that had been combed to one side, blonde skin, blue eyes and slightly haired chest, which could be seen due to the fact that the only piece of clothing the figure had on was a pair of long black pants. From what she had seen in the past few seconds, she could tell he wasn't an ordinary person. The man was standing on a platform, staring at a broken statue that closely resembles him.

Then she spotted four other people approaching the platform, all dressed in different costumes that yelled 'SUPRHEROES'. He turned around to face them.

One of them was a middle aged man holding a triton and wearing a green and yellow bodysuit that resembled fish skin. He had long curly hair and a huge beard.

Another was a woman wearing a golden tiara with a red and gold bustier. She also wore a blue skirt and had a shield and sword behind her back. She also had metal bracelets on her wrist, with a golden rope attached to her waist . She had long curly black hair also and fair skin .

The next was a younger superhuman who wore a red costume with yellow highlights here and there. He also wore a red mask that had his eyes and the lower half of his face exposed like the bat themed man. The red mask had two antenna looking yellow things attached to his ears on both sides of his head. He had red boots and red gloves also.

The last was an African-American man that looked like he was a cyborg. He had grey armor covering most parts of his skin with a red light on his chest. The left part of his face was covered with tech and had a red light representing his left eye.

All heroes had one thing in common at the moment...

...the confused looks on their faces.

Well that was until the lady with the tiara decided to smile..

"He's back" she said with a warm smile.

The shirtless dude looked at them like he'd never seen them before. The man with the triton looked at him with narrowed eyes, not sure he was okay.

The younger kid just smiled real wide and let out a little chuckle.

The man without the shirt stared at them as if seeing through them, which he actually was.

'Why doesn't someone just do something already' Carol thought.

"He's not alright" the man with the trident said, which at this point they started to suspect. He scanned the lady and the trident weilding man first, before moving his gaze to the kid and the cyborg.

"Scanners" the cyborg said.

"What?" The trident wielder responded in confusion.

"Arthur, you need to calm down your adrenaline's spiking" the cyborg said to the trident wielder.

"That's because he's not alright" Arthur said, obviously panicking as the gravity of the matter began to settle on them.

'Oh, so his name's Arthur? Hhh" Captain Marvel sighed as the scene started to seem boring to her, but just as she wanted to go down and introduce herself... She saw the cyborg's head creak to the right, as if he was malfunctioning. She thought the shirtless man was the one doing it until..

"Shit!" The cyborg exclaimed as he tried to control his left hand that was slowly turning into a canon of sorts.

"Victor what are you doing?!" the kid in red asked confused by the scene he was seeing.

Victor looked totally nervous "My armor's defense system,"

"No" the woman with the tiara said as the remaining three began to stare at Victor in fear and confusion.

"It's sensed the interface I- I can't control it" Victor said as the hand automatically points towards the shirtless man.

"VICTOR NO!"

"VICTOR! VICTOR STOP"

"NO VICTOR!"

All their cries fell on deaf ears as Victor had no control of the 80℅ formed hand-cannon his suit was forming. The shirtless man had a dark look on his face as he clenched his fist.

'Oh turd! What the hell?!' Carol thought in slight shock as she knew what could happen if that man survives whatever is going to come out of that cannon. The cannon , as the heroes had expected fired off a large energy ball straight at the man...

.. Who easily dodged it by stepping aside letting it hit a wall on the platform behind him.

Everybody was silent, as their breaths hung, anticipating his next move. They all had a look of intense fear in their eyes. The shirtless man turned around, after looking at the destruction caused by the large energy ball, to look at the Victor with pure anger in his eyes.

Victor looked like he was going to drop dead from fear.

The others looked at him knowing what his next action would be like..

"No, this is the 'oh turd' moment" Carol finally said out loud, expecting the inevitable.

"Kal El no" the woman with the tiara said trying to talk him out of it, but it was too late. The man finally exhibited his power as he shot red hot powerful laser beams from his eyes at Victor. Victor managed to block it with a shield that generated from the left hand at the last minute. He tried to push back but the beam was way too strong and it pushed him back violently while the rest of the beam sawed a police car clean in half with two police men flying out of the way before they could get hurt.

"Okay this is getting out of hand" Carol said contemplating whether or not to interfere.

"What's wrong with him?" The younger kid asked.

"He's confused, he doesn't know who he is." The woman said as she unsheated her sword from her back.

"That's cemetery" the kid said absolutely shocked. Before Carol could say or do anything, Kal El then surprised Carol by lifting the head of the broken statue behind him which was as big as two fridges, with relative ease and was about to hurl it at the woman holding the shield and sword. Her eyes widened thinking the woman didnt stand a chance.

The man flung the statue head towards her, but before the statue head hit her, a beam hit the rock from above and shattered it into a million pieces. Everybody present at the battle looked up and were all surprised when they saw a woman in red an blue with flowing blond hair. Kal El looked at her with Xray vision and could see the power flowing through her. The only people he had seen with that much power were his family members back on krypton.

"Hey big guy" Carol said while crossing her arms "your mom ever teach you not to hit a lady" . The younger kid laughed a bit as Carol gave a smirk. Kal El then shot heat vision at Carol which she narrowly dodged. As she turned around a statue's broken arm rammed into her at insane speed sending her flying away.

"Arthur," the lady with the tiara grabbed her shield from her back with her sword in her right hand " we need to restrain him". Arthur growled a bit, tightening his grip on the Triton in his right hand, he jumped at Kal on the platform aiming the triton at him. Kal effortlessly swat Arthur away in mid air and remained unflinched as the woman used her shield to ram into him at the speed of sound. The man countered by ramming himself into her sending her flying off the platform.

"I got him, I got him..." Victor said as he shot the Kal El with a very painful beam. Kal only moved back a little after the beam hit his bare skin, then looked at the cyborg with a look of annoyance on his face. Carol flew at him in her binary form , connecting a flaming punch straight to his jaw. The powerful shockwave caused by the punch pushed back some of the surrounding heroes and caused the nearly invulnerable man to stumble to the side, but he turned around almost immediately and punched Carol straight in the chest. The impact caused her to let out a cry of pain and she would have flewn at the speed of sound into the nearest building, if not that the man who punched her held her leg in mid-flight pulling her brutally into the ground with all his might and kicked her in the ribs out of the crater she made in the ground causing her to scream as she flew at the speed of sound through a car and out the back onto the ground.

The woman with the tiara launched the other end of her golden rope to Kal on the platform. The rope only wrapped around his left hand, and once the woman on the other end of the rope pulled the rope, trying to pull the man towards her but it didn't work. Kal stood still while pulling back to himself with one hand. The woman using two hands on the other end of the rope began to glide forward as the man's strength prevailed over hers. She pulled with all her might but kept gliding forward then stopped herself when she reached one of the stair cases that were by the platform, placing both legs on the edge of the staircase as she leaned back in order to stop her gliding.

"Kal El; last son of krypton" she said as Carol had began to slowly rise out of the car wreckage. The man pulling her stopped upon hearing this and began to act like he was remembering something. "Remember who you are" The woman on the other end of the rope said calmly, believing her words were doing something to him. Then, the man stooped trying to remember and looked at her with an angry expression. "Tell me who you... AAAGH!" The woman was suddenly yanked by Kal El at full speed but he caught her under her arm suspending her in the air. Arthur tried to attack him with the triton but he easily caught the triton. Victor generated jets from his back arms and legs and flew at him and once he hit him , he tried to use the force of the jets to push him back, but Kal didn't move an inch.

'What did she call him ?' Carol said as she rose into the air. That was when the kid showed off what he could do. He crouched and touched the ground as blue lightning engulfed his body then sprinted. Everything became as slow as heck as he sprinted a little bit faster past the almost still heroes. He attempted running around Kal El and try to attack him from behind as he too seemed almost still, but as soon as he had reached halfway past Kal, Kal's eye turned to watch him. The look of shock on the kid's face was priceless. Kal's eye still followed him as he sprinted almost behind him. Then Kal turned his face at him with a pissed off expression as the boy was shocked that this man could match his speed and not end up being as slow as the others were. Kal then threw the others off himself, everything still in super slow motion except him and the kid. He nearly landed a vicious backhanded swat at the kid , if not for the fact that he dodged and stumbled to the ground. Before the kid could properly land on the ground, he saw Kal leaping through the air and coming down on him. He could have been flattened under Kal, if he didn't move at the last second, causing Kal to land with both feet hard into the ground leaving a crater where he landed.

Kal swung a punch aimed for his chest but the kid jumped back dodging the attack. Kal swung to the kid's right, but he also ducked causing Kal to punch the wall near him creating a very obvious crater. Before he even had time to recover , Kal waged him with his shoulder sending him into a nearby wall knocking him out.

Carol was immensely confused. First she saw the kid charging up then sprinting at Kal's direction.. But the remaining five seconds, all she saw was two blurs moving in different directions. She was sure the other blur was Kal. The next thing she saw was the kid flying away into a nearby wall and getting knocked out.

"Okay, this has to stop" Carol said flying back to the scene. Kal was about to continue with the kid when he saw a very familiar man in a black bat themed costume and a bat sign on his chest with a cape hanging from his shoulders land a few meters away from the platform.

"Clark!" The man called Kal. Carol turned her attention to the black bat themed man and stopped in mid flight.

"Did he just call him , Clark?"

"I know you.." Clark started walking towards him. Then, the lady with the tiara had returned and stood between Clark and the Bat-man.

"Please don't make me do this" the lady sheathed her sword which confused Carol. Her pleas fell on deaf ears as Clark kept walking towards the Bat man with the woman still standing in his way. The woman had had enough. She attempted slamming both her braceleted wrists together. It looked like the impact was going to do something but just before the bracelets could meet, in a split second, Clark was in front of her and stopped both wrists from jamming. He then pushed both her hands apart and gave her a vicious head butt followed by a shockwave. The woman groaned a little as she took in the full impact of the head butt but she was still standing. She then looked at him in anger and delivered a mighty headbutt of her own causing a very noticeable shockwave. Carol was in awe and shock while witnessing those two ground wrecking headbutts, but her mouth nearly hit the ground when she saw Clark close his eyes a bit, open them, levitate into the air and come down head first into the woman's own at sound speed and with intense force causing a cry of pain, a huge shockwave and the woman to be sent straight into the ground and slide a few feet across, tearing the ground with her.

"WHOA! Okay that's it" Carol said just after Clark had swat the bat man into a nearby police car. Before he could reach the man again, Carol flew at lightning speed into Clark's chest sending him flying back but he stopped himself in mid flight just in time to block an intense beam coming from Carol. Once she had gotten close enough, she tried to swing a punch for his face but he was a step ahead. He caught her fist , though it hurt a little, and swung her right into the ground. He was about to crush her head with his foot but she flew right out of the ground at high speed , using that speed to deliver a headbutt to his chin creating a mighty shockwave. The force sent Clark into the air and before he could stop himself, Carol flew at him at insane speeds, knocking a flaming fist right into his face and sending him flying higher into the sky. Once he reached 80,000 feet, he stopped himself from going any higher. He opened his eyes, pure red at this point and saw Carol coming towards him. He clenched his fist and launched right back at her. She saw the energy he had coming towards her and braced herself. They both hit in the sky creating a severe shockwave, but Clark was stronger and was flying Carol straight to the ground. Carol struggled all she could but couldn't break free from Clark. She looked behind and saw that the ground wasn't far away anymore.

"Oh crap" was the last thing she said before she was smashed into the ground creating a huge crater and a gigantic shockwave that blew away cars, shattered windows and lifted a lot of other surrounding materials. Clark sustained his position in mid air an looked down at Carol's broken body as she had left her binary form but was struggling to maintain consciousness. Clark turned around and looked at the man in a bat costume, causing the latter to widen his eyes in fear and start fiddling with his belt.

"I, I think I'm gonna use...GUMPHH!" He was cut short as Clark's strong hands grabbed him by the chin and levitated both of them into the air, meaning the bat man's entire body weight was hanging by the chin, which was extremely painful.

"You remember me don't you?" He continued almost muffling due to the pressure on his chin.

"Yes. You won't let me live, you won't let me die "

'What?' Carol thought in complete confusion as she weakly and slowly tried to stand from the crater but couldn't even get a single muscle out of it.

"The world needs you"

Clark looked shocked for a second " but doesn't need you. Now, tell me" Clark said as he began drawing the bat man closer by his chin "do you bleed?". The bat man widened his eyes just as Carol did thinking the bat man's life was about to end until...

"Clark!" A woman called running towards the scene and past the police. Clark upon hearing that voice, a voice so familliar to him, turned his attention to the ground below. The bat man would've if not for the super strong hand clenching his jaw, but he already knew who it was. Carol mustered all of her strength to lift her head up and see who it was as she was slowly falling into unconsciousness. She was shocked when she saw an average heighted woman with blond long hair, blue eyes a brown suit and brown skirt with an ID card hung around her neck. It was the same woman she nearly knocked down on the street the time she was looking at the Daily Planet.

'Hope she isn't here to take pics' Carol mentally joked but was shocked when she saw Clark fling the bat man away and was staring at the woman like someone in a trance.

"Clark.." The woman seemed to have a powerful effect on him as he calmed down and started descending. She began to approach him slowly not breaking eye contact with him as he had touched the ground. Carol couldn't believe her eyes. The man who just beat up six superheroes with ease, was stunned and still, like someone under a spell at the sight of one woman.

"Please, Let's go." She said as she hugged Clark. Clark remembered her, he also forgot her. His mind couldn't really identify her but he knew she had a special place in his life... But he just didn't remember why. Clark held her tight and lifted off into the air and flew away. Carol at this point had blur vision and was badly wounded. Her costume was shredded, part of her skull cracked and her hearing slightly fading away.

"Something's definitely bleeding" the bat man said as he caresses his chin. He turned and saw Carol in a large crater groaning lightly in pain. He wanted to get to her and find out who she was but the lady with the tiara beat him to it.

"Diana," the bat man called "is she gonna be alright?"

"She will be fine" Diana said holding Carol's head.

"Hh... You... T.. Think so?"Carol asked, rapidly loosing energy. Carol looked up as Diana caressed her face as her whole body began to go numb

"Stay with me.."was the last thing Carol heard as her vision began to darken.

"I can't".

The Arrival

A young teenaged guy that looked like he was made of metal was blown through a wall and landed on the other side. He had short black hair, a slight built and blue eyes. He wore a black T-shirt with grey sleeves. He looked up just in time to dodge a spear that would have taken off his head. He got to his feet to see the man that could have ended his life just now. The man held the spear in his hand and had a dark appearance. He had long black hair that draped over his shoulders, had what looked like four mini horns on his fore head. He wore a brown coat that was unbuttoned which exposed his chest and abs. He wore deep blue loose pants and had black boots.

"What do you want from Ben this time, Aggregor?" The teen asked as he morphed his right hand into a mace.

"What I always want.." Aggregor said as he fired a red beam from his spear. The metal mace fisted teen tried to block but the power of the beam pushed him into the wall. Aggregor lunged at him with his spear high ready to impale him with it.

*BZZZZT*

"AH!" Aggregor yelled as he was knocked away by a powerful red ray. The teen turned to the left to see his savior.

" 'bout time Ben. What took you so long?" The teen was actually talking to a huge red and yellow manta ray with two horns that joined at the middle of his forehead and a green hourglass symbol on it's chest. The creature then touched the hourglass and was engulfed in a flash of green light. When the light died down, another teen just about the first teen's age was standing in it's place. This teen had brown hair, green eyes and wasn't so muscular. He also wore a black top under a green jacket that had a 10 on it's left side, wore blue pants with sneakers and had a watch like thingy with the hourglass symbol on it, on his left hand.

"Took off as soon as I got the call. You okay Kevin? " Ben asked Kevin after transforming back.

"I'm fine dude. What the hell does Aggregor want this time?!" Kevin asked as he turned his right hand into a sword while facing the dust cloud caused by Aggregor's impact on the ground.

"What else does he want? Apart from this baby right here, which I have explained to him that he isn't gonna get!" Ben said gesturing to the watch on his left hand. As soon as he had said that, Aggregor jumped all of a sudden out of the dust cloud with a war cry and his spear aimed for Ben, but something out of the ordinary happened...

... Aggregor was frozen in mid air. Everything seemed frozen; the dust, the sand, the birds, the breeze... Everything.

"UUUUUGH!" Ben groaned knowing who caused this. He looked at Kevin, who was also frozen in a fighting stance. "Dude, you have no idea what you look like.." He took out his phone and took a picture of Kevin in that position.

"There is something I need to speak with you about" a voice said behind Ben. Ben turned around while rolling his eyes.

"What now professor paradox?" Ben literally groaned out as he faced a man with black short hair wearing a white lab coat over a brown waist coat. He also wore black pants, black shoes and had a pair of green goggles hanging on his neck.

"Well, it is of great importance but, you haven't realised have you?" Professor Paradox said with a small smile.

"Realised what?"

"Where were you before you got here?"

Ben looked at him funny "Well, I was at um... I was uuuummm... Wait.. I was, I was... I"

It all became clear now. Paradox hijacked his mind! Ben didn't remeremember where he was before he came here. It might all be... An illusion. Or a dream. As Ben realised this, he looked around and realised his surroundings had changed. He was standing on a grassy hill that gave him a beautiful view of the ocean.

"What the hell just happened?"

"I did hijack you. You are in an alternate universe."

"What about Kevin and Aggregor, where are they?"

"They were an illusion. Aggregor never came, I just made so that you don't freak out when you find out you're in another universe all of a sudden. You have been here all this while." Paradox explained

Ben rubbed his forehead in annoyance. 'I wish I could just sucker punch him right now'. He must've taken him in his sleep, even though it was day here. Why didn't he just walk up to him and tell him?!

"This universe needs healing." Paradox spoke in a serious tone, getting Ben's attention. "A madman who thought he could balance the universe ended up spurring a universal conflict. He collected a group of extremely powerful stones called the infinity stones an used them to power a device called an infinity gauntlet which he used to not just wipe out 50% of the world's population, but that of the entire universe."

Ben was shocked. "Why did he do it?"

"He said the universe wasn't balanced" paradox said as he shrugged "My purpose of bringing you here is so you could help them defeat Thanos."

"Thanos? That's his name?" Ben asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes. And i also brought someone who could help you."

"Ship!" A robotic voice said as a small creature that looked like the puppy form of Upgrade leapt into Ben's arms.

"Ship! Oh man did I miss you" Ben said happily as he cuddled the creature.

"I have to go Ben, but I will visit you once in a while. You will meet superheroes on this place too, they will need your help." Paradox said with a smile.

"Superheroes? Where am I..." Before he could finish, Paradox was gone. 'Hate it when he does that'

"Ship, ship" Ship said in his arms.

"Tell me about it" Ben said as he rolled his eyes before looking away from the ocean to find a huge facility in the distance. "That place looks cool Ship, wanna head to it?"

"Ship!" Ship yelled as it transformed into a green motorcycle.

"What would I do without you man?" Ben said as he put the helmet that Ship generated on his head, got o n the bike, and zoomed off to the facility...

... And to a whole new adventure...

Ben: I can't believe I'm saying this but, that last scene was cool... Short, but cool.

Ash: Of course it's cool! I'm a cool writer, I write cool stuff. Anyway guys sorry this came late. I'm sure it's been like a month since I updated. I had to combine work, school, and everything else, including this, but you know what they say...

Ben : Good things come to those who wait?
