Ooookay people! Update! You guys are great, though I'm not seeing reviews or favs but traffic stats are encouraging; 300 views? I didn't even expect to get up to that! But please, reviews are of a great importance. I'd go nowhere without them. This chapter is going to be the one where Ben has to gain the trust of the Avengers... Which might seem easy for him due to his cool and kind nature...
Ben: Aha! You finally admitted it that I'm cool.
Ash: You know there's a difference between you and the Ben in the Story. My story is about a nice Ben, who wants the world to be a better place. You, are a prick, a selfish, arrogant prick.
Ben: Yeah yeah... Say what you wanna. This chapter starts with me right?
Ash: Sadly yes, but Carol will show up later. Anyway where is Carol?
Ben: Oh she went to help Nick with a high level burglar, but not before the burglar put a bullet in his ankle, hehee.

Gaining Trust
Ben got in the room the Avengers prepared for him. He put ship down and sat on the king sized bed. He thought of how all this stuff just happened so fast... 'One minute you're in a familiar environment fighting a familiar enemy, next minute you're in a different realm that has been conquered by a different enemy... Who a time traveling celestial says you should stop...Next you're in an unfamiliar territory with unfamiliar heroes trying to gain their trust!'
"Ship?" Ship asked
" Nothing really pal but, hey, do you think these guys trust me?"
" Ship ship... Ship ship ship"
"Ha yeah maybe he's the only one" Ben said as he looked at the Ultimatrix... A new update to the Omnitrix thanks to Azmuth..
" I just hope I don't let them down.."
"Ship" Ship said
" Thanks pal" Ben said patting ship on the head " hhhh... Well better get prepared. Cap gave us 10 minutes to get ourselves ready."
"And you've just been sitting there" a female voice all so familiar to Ben said, causing him to jolt his head up to be sure it was her...
" Uuuh.. had to ask my friend here a few , you know... questions" Ben replied still in shock on how he didn't notice her standing at the door " how long have you been standing there?"
" Long enough to know you're not a spy or something" Nat replied folding her arms
" So that means you trust me?!" Ben said a little excited
" Hmm... Not completely" She said with a small smile making Ben deadpan "That whole story about a time traveller and you being from another universe is really true?"
" Oh ..that, yeah. His name is Professor Paradox and he brought me here, to help you guys. That's all I'm here for" Ben said honestly as he got to his feet and walked a little closer
Nat looked him dead in the eye and said. " I just wanna let you know that if you turn against us.. in any shape or form.. I won't hesitate to kill you. We've lost too much already. We can't afford to loose any more" Ben was pale and stiff when Nat finished. Nat's serious face turned into a smile then she pat Ben on the shoulder and turned to leave " Get your self prepared fast.. we got just two minutes left"
" Yeah , I...I will... Damn it Ship you see?!" Ben said frustrated
" Ship?" Ship said
" No she doesn't. I know people like her and it's gonna take more than just coming into the team with intentions of helping out to gain her trust" Ben said as he opened a locker..
" I believe you might need this" a man's voice that Ben knew all to well said from behind.
" Wow.. we were just talking about you" Ben said turning around to face him, then was in shock as Paradox held out a blue high tech cross bag " Where did you get that from? And what am I even gonna do with it?"
"When the time comes you'll know" Paradox replied still holding out the bag. Ben then shrugged and took it
" Thanks " by the time he looked up Paradox was gone
" Hmm... didn't even wanna stay and chat" Ben said putting the bag on. He looked himself in the mirror and worked on his hair. Done, he walked to the locker to see if there was anything interesting, and managed to spot bubble gum. He cracked a smile. He took it, tore the wrap and shoved it in his mouth.
" It's hero time"

" Okay people how many of you have never been to space before?" Rocket asked turning around as they were all in the ship flying in space. As an answer most of the team excluding Thor, Ben , Nebula, and of course Rocket raised up their hands, causing Ben to chuckle, and causing Thor to give him a death glare, and causing Ben to shut up immediately. " You better not throw up on my ship" Rocket turned back to the controls.
" Commencing jump in three... " Nebula said
" Two..." Ben closed his eyes tight and Nat gripped the seat hard.
" One" ... The ship entered light speed and flew for 5 seconds. Then it pierced the jump, arriving right in front of the planet. The heroes took a moment to observe the planet before on of them broke the silence.
" Don't you all think someone should go in and take a look... Just to know how Thanos is protecting himself?" The man in the Hulkbuster suit said .
" I'll go" Ben said, causing the whole team to turn around and look at him.
" Can't believe I forgot to ask.. What flutarkin' powers do you even have anyway, cuz you look like you shoulda gone for janitor or something" Rocket mocked.
" Hey!" Steve shot at him " we don't treat people li..."
" It's okay, the racoon can say what he wants" Ben mocked back causing Rocket to snarl in anger. Ben then got up and made his way to the front of the ship, facing the whole team
"I'm just gonna cut it short" Ben said as he activated the Ultimatrix..
" I am a one man army" Ben said as he slammed the dial back in and gets engulfed in bright green light, causing the heroes to shield their eyes. When the light died down, standing in Ben's place was a creature resembling a manta ray with red skin and some yellow highlighted here and there with green eyes and yellow wings and the Ultimatrix hourglass symbol on his chest...
"JETRAY!" The creature yelled. Jetray looked at the heroes in the ship and saw utter shock and disbelief on their faces.
" I'll go check it out. I'll be back faster than you expect" he said as he flew out the hatch and down the planet at sound speed. The heroes just sat there speechless until..
" I'm not the only one who saw that right?" The black American guy now in a high level tech suit said to the others.
"He's a flarkin' shapeshifter!" Rocket yelled...

Carol opened her eyes slowly to a bright light and tried to shield them from it. She had no idea how long she had been out. Apparently, the bright light came from a bulb in the room she was kept in and she had never been in this room before. The room was made to look like a hospital of some sorts and considering that she just woke up in a room of this sort, she started thinking that the whole thing was a dream. She let her head fall back down on the pillow.
'' Uhh.. I knew it was a dream. I wouldn't just crossover to another universe in that kinda way, and then help some dudes fight and old friend of theirs, and get beaten to a pulp.."
"Actually you did" a voice from the door caused her to turn in shock and see Diana..
" Shit , it wasn't a dream" She cursed. Diana walked up to her bed and sat by her. "Where am I? " Carol asked
" Batcave. " Diana answered
" What?" Carol asked totally confused.
You'll understand later. How are you doing?" Diana asked.
"Not too good , where is he?" Carol asked
Diana looked down in sadness. " He flew off with his soulmate. He doesn't even know us anymore" Diana said looking at her.
"He was a friend of yours right?" Carol asked.
Diana nodded.
" What happened?" Carol asked confused
" That's not really important. I know him, with the help of Lois, he'll be okay" Diana smiled " What was all that about another universe?"
" It's nothing really" Carol brushed it off.
" Hey, if you want us to help you, we have to know everything about you, especially now that an invasion is about to occur" Diana stated.
" In.. Invasion?" Carol asked as she struggled to sit upright, but Diana stopped her.
" Hey, you're not fully healed. Despite the fact you're healing incredibly fast, you still have to relax"
Carol sighed and relaxed back on the bed.
" My name's Carol Danvers. I'm not from your world. I'm from earth, just not yours. 3 days ago, fifty percent of all life in my universe was wiped out by a space warlord named Thanos. The heroes of that universe couldn't stop him, and some of them were killed too. I wasn't on earth during that period, and when it happened it took someone who was too dear to me. He was a very good friend of mine and the last time I saw him was in the 20th century." Carol said in sadness, but no tears.
Diana was shocked and could sense the pain she felt. She continued..
" He managed to call me with a device I gave him a long time ago before he was, destroyed." She closed her eyes as the anger in her began to rise ..." He didn't know about what was going on. The Avengers, earth's heroes, had split before that time due to some misunderstanding of sorts and they couldn't fight Thanos together." Sadness began to set in as she said " I found one of them trapped in space with an alien female and brought them to earth. When everyone wanted to work together and hunt Thanos , I left. I left because of my anger, and pain and hunger for revenge. I went after him alone and just like they did.. I lost" She stopped, attempting to compose herself " and got dumped here by the same Thanos"
Diana felt so bad for her. She knew what it was like to loose a good friend, but she didn't understand how one being wiped out half of a universe... And sent someone to another
" How do he do it?"
" He used what we call infinity stones. There are six of them and only a being of great power can harness all six without getting destroyed. He placed them in a device called the infinity gauntlet and with the snap of his fingers destroyed half of all life in the universe" Carol said.
Diana was speechless. ' the snap of a finger ?!, That's unbelievable' Diana could see now. She had never seen her before and what she just said explained it all.
"I'm so sorry about your home. Nobody deserves to go through such a horrible experience." Diana wished she could help her
" It's okay. Maybe I was brought here for a reason." Carol smiled for a split second then said in concern " What was that about an invasion"
Diana sighed" when you're okay I'll show you to the team then we'll explain the whole thing"
In a split second.. Carol dashed out of the bed, disconnecting all the wires and drips attached to her and stopped in mid air, turning around and facing Diana.
" I'm perfectly okay" she said.. that was when she realised she wasn't wearing her costume. She had a white tank top on a pair of black tights.
" What?!" She yelled "Where's my costume?"
Diana laughed " I'll get you something to wear.. then " Diana said as she approached the door then turned around

Okay people! I know this update was delayed, again, but as they say... Better late than never. The next one begins with Carol meeting the team and ends with Ben and the Avengers confronting Thanos.
Keep your eyes open people, I'll be updating faster than usual now. If you're wondering where Ben is, he went to help Nick catch the burglar after we heard that the burglar blasted Carol right out of the sky..😢 deep huh?
