Tell Me Again

Tell me again
About the girl in the moon
How she loved you and left you
And made your heart swoon
"Now go to sleep Ame." Sokka tucked in his five year old daughter. The small girl had dark brown girl and bright blue eyes like her daddy. "Wait daddy, will you tell me about the girl in the moon?" She yawned. Sokka looked up out the window at the full moon. "Princess Yue, she was and still is very beautiful. I loved her very much." He whispered, never taking his eyes from the moon.
Tell me again
Of her hair white as snow
And the reason she left you
To vanquish a foe
"Tell me again what she looked like. And why she left. Why isn't she here no more. " Ame closed her eyes waiting for her father to continue. "Her hair was long and white. Just like the snow falling from the sky. The reason she left was to bring back the moon the moon spirit gave her life and she had to give it back. It was her fate." A tear went down his face but Ame didn't see it nor did she hear the hurt in his voice.
Tell me again
Of the robes made of light
How she smiled so sweetly
On that one moonless night
"Tell me again what she was like?" Ame whispered. " Though our nation, our world was at war. She made it seems as though it wasn't. That everything was right in the world. and at a moment in time everything was."

Why you sigh every time
The moon is above
"She sounds like someone I would like to meet. Tell me again how much you loved her." Ame yawned again rolling over in the bed. " I love her just as much as I love you. I think about her all the time." Sokka sighed he had not stopped looked at the moon. " I feel as if she's looking right back at me."

"Your thinking about her again aren't you?" a woman in blue walked in. "she didn't deserve it. She isn't gone." She stated sliding her arms around Sokka waist Sokka smiled. "Your right, Mizu." Sokka turned around and looked at Ame to find she was sound asleep in her bed. "I just don't understand. Why does Ame remind me so much of Yue?" Mizu giggled. "that is something we my never know."
