Frozen Lantern
Chapter 12
Patrolling the streets was a soldier from the Arendelle Army. He made sure everything's going well. All of a sudden, he hears noises before looking up to see a large yellow monster flying over. The soldier also sees two more of them running towards the kingdom.
In the skies, a bone-shaped dragon with a spike lance, and on the ground was a large rhino and a Siren Head who made a nightmarish sound.
"I got to alert Captain Alvis." He shouted as he runs to find cover. He then pulls out his radio before he contacts his captain, "Sir, we got unknown contact. Requesting immediate assistance over!"
Meanwhile in the courtyard...
"Ok, Elsa. Remember what Dante taught you." The queen said to herself.
Elsa is at the courtyard with a few guards on watch. She breathes before concentrating on the power from her ring. The ring glows before it creates a large bird. All of a sudden, a loud roar was heard before Elsa looks up and gasps.
Flying in the sky was a bone shape dragon. It roars before diving in and attacks the kingdom. Screams and cries were heard as the fire begins burning buildings. She quickly runs inside and goes to find her sister. Inside the castle, servants and guards scramble as they in a crisis.
"Your majesty, what are your orders?" A guard asks her.
"Contact Captain Alvis and protect my people!" Elsa commanded.
"Yes, my lady." The guard replied before executing the command.
"Elsa!"
Elsa turns to see her sister, Anna running towards her. She reaches and the two embrace tightly.
"What is happening?" Anna asks.
"You have to hide. My people need me!" Elsa said.
"No, Elsa. I need to help them too." Anna pleaded.
"Elsa! Anna!"
The sisters turn to see Kristoff and Olaf.
"Why is everyone running?" Olaf asks.
"What is happening?!" Kristoff asks.
A loud explosion shakes the castle, nearly throwing everyone off balance.
"Right now, they need help. Anna, you, Kristoff, and Olaf find Captain Alvis and assist the evacuation. I will hold off the threat." Elsa said
"What about Dante?" Anna asks.
Elsa knows that Dante is out searching for answers about what happened to the crew aboard the Enigma. She looks at her ring before her family.
"I know what to do." She spoke.
Outside the castle, chaos rages throughout Arendelle. Fire burns buildings, people run in terror as the soldiers fought against the flying beast. Firefighters do everything they can to put out the flames. Anna and the others have arrived flanked by some guards. Kristoff arrived with Sven on his sleigh.
"Get everyone to the shelters now!" Anna commanded.
Some of the troops obey the command. Anna and the others do whatever they can to protect the people of Arendelle.
At base, the soldiers and officers scramble as the crisis is intense. Captain Alvis along with a few officers are looking at the map of Arendelle, pointing to where for soldiers to be placed. Radios are heard, as soldiers called in for backup.
"Sir, our outer defense was bypassed, by unknown forces. We don't have enough time to bring our armor units." A soldier informed.
"What about our air force?" Captain Alvis asks.
"Our pilots are preparing their aircraft. It will take them a few minutes."
"What's the status on the evacuation?"
"We're doing our best to report the progress."
Alvis looks at his soldiers before looking at the map.
"Dante, we need you." He said.
Meanwhile, a child is running for his life before he sees the Siren Head who blares out devilish sounds. Some of the people cover their ears from the sound. The child runs to a building as the Siren Head looks around, growling. The child hides as the Siren Head turns around, getting close to him.
Just then a green light shines before a laser strikes the Siren Head in the mouth. It roars in pain before backing off. The boy looks to see his Queen, Elsa in her Green Lantern uniform. She lands in front of the boy before creating a large war hammer. She jumps and strikes the Siren Head across the face before it roars and falls to the floor. The boy was amazed to see the queen with new power.
"Run! Find your mother and go!" Elsa said to the boy.
"Go get them, my lady!" The boy said as he makes a run for it.
Elsa sees the bone dragon before going after it.
[Meanwhile]
"You saw giant tentacles?"
"Yes, and they begin crushing the ship."
Dante is at a medical hospital in Northern Denmark. He is speaking to the captain of the Engima who his crew survived.
"What else happened?"
"We sent out a signal before the ship got wrapped around and crushing it. We were forced to abandon ship. We lost four crew in the process. We also notice it was glowing yellow." The captain explained.
"Yellow... NO!" Dante said before getting up from the chair. "Thank you for everything but I must go!"
He quickly exits the room before leaving the hospital and fly back home at full speed.
"AHHH!"
Crashing into a pile of rubble, Elsa gets up and dodges a yellow flame before shooting back. Elsa is having trouble fighting off three monsters and protecting civilians. The rhino sees Elsa before charging towards her. She was about to be trampled when a large chain wraps around the neck of the beast before yanking it back. It was then hoisted in the air before a large sword was created and it slices off the rhino's head off before it was dissolved into particles. Elsa looks to see who had defeated the rhino.
"Hey, love. Sorry I have to cut my investigation short." Dante said.
Elsa flies before embracing him not before a roar caught their attention. It was the bone-shaped dragon that charges towards them. Dante and Elsa look at each other before nodding and fly off to fight the dragon. The siren head who was knocked down slow gets back up before turning to Dante and Elsa who went after the dragon. It roars before chases them.
At an airbase two miles from the kingdom, the A.R.A.F received word from the base, that Arendelle is under attack.
"All units, scramble. Repeat: All units, scramble!" The P.A said.
The pilots, who are in their gear, quickly rush towards their F-16 fighters. The people who worked on the runways guided the planes to the path for take-off. The jets reach to the runway and one by one they take off into the air. Once airborne, the fighers flew towards Arendelle to combat the threat.
In the skies, Dante and Elsa are attacking the bone-shapes dragon. Dante creates surface to air missiles before firing at the dragon. They hit the beast, making it roar in pain. Elsa creates a large crossbow before firing the arrow at it. Despite the pain, the dragon shoots back with yellow flames. Dante and Elsa move out of the way from the attack.
That is when the dragon was hit in the wings. Dante and Elsa turn to see the A.R.A.F arrive and attack the dragon. The fighters launched missiles and they struck the dragon, clipping one of the wings off. Dante creates a large spear and pierces the dragon in the heart, ending it for good.
Dante then sees the Siren Head before going after it. He creates large rope and tie the beast before creating a sword and stabbed it in the mouth, destroying it.
The last of the creatures were defeated and the attack is over. Dante ane Elsa flew towards each before embracing.
"It's over." Elsa said trying not to cry.
"For now." Dante said.
After the attack, Dante and Elsa help clean up Arendelle along with the military. That is when screaming was heard. Dante and Elsa look to see three Yellow Lanterns, but in a bubble was none other than Anna.
"Anna!" Elsa said in horror.
The yellow lanterns take off into the air with Anna in captive.
"They took my sister!"
"Then we got to follow them. We might know where they are heading" Dante said with determination.
The two lanterns pull out their batteries before saying the oath:
"In Brighters Day
In Blackest Night.
No Evil shall escape my sight
Let those who worshipped evil's might
beware my power
Green Lantern's light
"Are you ready, Elsa?" Dante asks
"Yes, my love" Elsa said taking his hand.
The crowd cheers as the two take off to save Anna.
