Here it is, I hope you enjoy it. I own nothing but Rebekah.

We pulled up to the farm a little after six o'clock.

"They will probably be having dinner so we might have made it in time."

We got out of Clint's truck and grabbed our bags out.

"That would be nice, I am hungry."

We walked in.

"I'm home," Clint called out.

"Daddy!" The kids came running to him and I watched as he hugged both of them. Then Lila saw me.

"Auntie Bekah!" She came running up to me and I picked her up giving each other hugs.

"Hello bug, how are you?"

"I'm good, daddy's home, and you and Auntie Nat."

"What were you doing?"

"Eating dinner, do you want some? I helped them make it."

"Well, then I need to try it now." She laughed and Cooper walked over.

"Hi, buddy."

"Hi, aunt Rebekah." I give him a hug with Lila still on my hip. Laura and Nat walk over to us as well.

"It is so good to see you, it has been so long," Laura tells me and pulls me in for a hug.

"I know, I have been busy."

"Because your daddy's Iron Man?"

"Yes, and it is a lot of work."

"Well, we have food so come sit and eat." We all go over to the table and eat our dinner. We keep the conversation light because of the kids but I had a feeling where it would go once the kids were in bed.

After dinner Lila wanted me to help her get ready for bed so we made our way up.

She was always a pretty easy kid and just so happy. I made sure she was changed her teeth brushed and ready for bed before we went back down where the three other adults were just finishing cleaning up after dinner.

"Tell them good night and I will read you a story." She went around telling them goodnight with hugs to them all and while she was Cooper came down ready for bed and told us all good night before going up to his room and going to bed. Nat had told me that he was now 'too old' to have anyone come in with him at night to tell him goodnight.

"I will be down in a few." I walked back up holding Lila's hand and we went into her room. She picked out a book and I helped her get in bed and covered her before starting the story. By the time we were halfway, she was already starting to fall asleep. I finished the story and placed a kiss on her forehead.

"Good night Lila bug, sleep well. I love you."

"Love you too auntie Bekah" She mumbled. I smiled and walked out flipping the light off and the night light on before closing the door leaving it cracked open just a little.

Walking over to Cooper's door I lightly knocked.

"Come in" I heard him softly call. I opened the door to see him in bed.

"Just wanted to say good night."

"Aunt Rebekah, can I ask you something?"

"Of course, you can ask me anything." I walked into his room and he set up so I sat at the foot of his bed.

"The job that dad, aunt Nat and you do is dangerous right?"

"I guess it can be but not always. Why?"

"I just want to know that dad will always come home to us."

"Cooper, I have known your dad for a very long time and he loves you, your mom, and your sister more than anything. He will always fight to come home to you. Plus he has Nat and me as backup and we will do what we can to make sure your dad comes home."

"Thanks, Aunt Rebekah."

"You're welcome, now get some sleep. We have a whole week of fun planned and you won't want to be tired for all of it."

"Alright, good night. I love you."

"I love you too buddy." I got up and he laid back down. I walked out, closing the door. Taking a deep breath I walked back downstairs to see all three of them sitting in the living room waiting for me.

"Well Lila is asleep and I am sure Cooper will be soon."

"Thank you, Rebekah."

"Of course, I have missed them."

"They miss you."

"I need to try and come by more. It is just hard living in Malibu now."

"Well, you are welcome here anytime. That is why you have your room here."

"I know. Now, are we going to talk about the elephant in the room?"

"What do you mean?"

"Funny Nat, I know Clint told you both everything. You three tell one another pretty much everything."

"Alright fine he did tell us, why didn't you tell me?"

"Because I knew you would go all mama mode and want to make it all better."

"I don't do that."

"Ya, Nat you kind of do." Laura backed me up.

"There right Tasha you always go protective mama spider mode with Rebekah. You have from the beginning."

"Well is it bad to love my little mini-me?" she said pulling me into a hug now that I was on the couch by her.

"No, not at all, I kind of love it. It's like having a part of mom here still. It is just hard because I miss her and I know dad loves me and wants what is best but he has a hard time with some of the big things especially when it comes to deep fillings. Mom was always better with that. I know she's gone and I also know she left amazing people in my life so I would not feel alone. Having all of you here, people who knew her and loved her helps me. But it doesn't take away the pain of knowing everything that I still have yet to do in life. She won't be able to be here with me. She missed me graduating, and started working officially with S.H.I.E.L.D and at Stark Industries. What about when I start dating again? If I do, fall in love, get engaged, and plan my wedding. When I get married or have kids. She is going to miss it all. I don't know what I will do without her here anymore."

"Well if you want we are here. We will never be able to replace your mother and we would not want to. But we will be here for everything life has for you." Laura said.

"We will always be there. I don't plan on going anywhere sweet girl. You brought me out of a dark place. You became a light to me. I'm not letting my light go away that easily."

"I might not be as good as these two are with all of it but I'm here whenever you need me. You are not alone, never have been, and never will be. We all love you way too much for that to ever happen." Clint added.

"Thank you, all of you. My mom knew what she was doing bringing all of you into my life. I love you all."

Spending the next few hours talking about the mission with Thor and dad. We laughed and joked and I remembered yet again how very lucky I truly was. Staying up until midnight enjoying spending time with all of them. We said our goodnights, each one hugging me, and then Laura walked upstairs with me while Clint and Nat did a perimeter search. We checked on the kids and Laura walked me to my bedroom door.

"You know sweetie. If the world ever gets too much to handle you will always have a place here."

"Thank you Laura good night, love you."

"I love you too sweetie. Now get some sleep and I will see you in the morning." she pulled me into a hug and I melted into it because it wasn't just any hug it was a mom hug and I didn't realize how much I missed them until this moment. She held me a few more minutes until we heard the door open.

"Good night sweetie." I walked into my room saying one more quick good night before shutting the door and I got ready for bed. I looked around the room and smiled.

I had met Clint at the beginning of his working for S.H.I.E.L.D and he and mom had become friends plus he was always nice to me. So the first time I met Laura when mom and I came to the farm she decided to set a room up for me so that way I always had a home here. It had helped over the years when Laura would watch me when mom was away for work and the others were busy and not able to watch me. We had gotten close over the years as well and I loved her friendship. I laid down and fell asleep feeling a lot better.

The next morning I got up and ready for the day. Putting on some of the clothes I left here for being on the farm. I pulled my hair up into a high ponytail and then made my way downstairs to find Laura and Clint making breakfast.

"Good morning."

"Good morning sweetie, did you sleep well?"

"I did, thank you, do you need any help?"

"If you would like to cut fruit, that would help."

"Of course." I got to work on the fruit.

We were putting the food on the table when Nat walked down.

"Morning all," she told us.

"Good morning Nat," I said as I put the dishes out on the table.

"Are the kids up yet?" As if on cue the kids came running downstairs.

"Good morning," they both said.

"Good morning kids. Let's eat breakfast." Laura told the kids.

We all sat down and had breakfast together making small talk as we did.

Once we were done we cleaned up before we all kind of went off to do whatever we were doing.

I made my way on a walk through the property and through some trees that opened up into a little meadow with a stream that ran through it. Over the years I had come to this very place more than once. Setting by the stream I listened to all of the sounds of nature completely letting it calm me.

Not sure how long I was there when I looked up after I heard something only to see Nat and Clint coming towards me.

"I told you she was getting good at hearing the slightest sounds. If we are not careful she will take our jobs." Clint told Nat as they came to sit by me.

"Please there is no way I will ever be able to do what you both do."

"You are getting pretty amazing at things though," Nat replied.

"Thanks, but I have had amazing teachers."

"I mean she's not wrong." Nat laughed at Clint.

"So what are you two up to?"

"Looking for you but after not seeing you at the house knew this is where you would be."

"One of my favorite places to come."

"So what is the next move for you?"

"Well, Nat you saw how dad can be. So I will still be keeping an eye on him. Plus with him who knows what he will think of next at this point. I will slowly start to work more at S.H.I.E.L.D and I guess we will see from there. Why?"

"I don't want you to lose yourself. None of us do. You may have seen and gone through some things but there are also things about this job you have not dealt with yet. Truth is we don't want that part for you."

"As in taking someone's life?"

"Mainly, yes. It changes you and we don't want it to change you."

"I know and I understand you are worried. I don't like that part either. No one that does the job does, at least not the good ones. But sadly in this life and world. In our jobs, life is lost sometimes and I want to find ways to save more. I know things happen and yes I am well aware that one day I might be in the position of doing something I don't want to or believe in. At the same time, I want to help people, it is all I have ever wanted and I will do what it takes to be that help people need. I want the world to be a better place, not people afraid of ones who think they are more powerful because of who they are. I'm sick of bullies, they don't care and they need to start caring."

"You know this is why everyone says you're a good person."

"Well, that is what I want to be. I have a lot to make up for that my family name has done and I will make up for it."

"Lilly would be so proud of the young lady you have become."

"Thanks, Clint, I owe some of it to both of you."

"No, the good that is around us is all, you sweetie. You are always the one to see the good in people even if they don't see it in themselves."

"Thanks, Nat."

"So will we see you at S.H.I.E.L.D more then?"

"I think so, I'm sure Fury is going to go pretty easy on me but I will work my way up and show everyone I'm not the little girl who used to skip around singing with pigtails in my hair."

"No, now you are the young lady who runs into danger with a ponytail, very different."

"Very funny Clint. But I am sure I will get there with the amazing teachers I have."

"Well, you do have two amazing teachers." Nat smiled.

"The best really." Clint then added.

"That you are."

"Come on, let's go have some lunch, maybe a picnic."

"That sounds pretty fun."

We all got up and went to the house to get a picnic ready and get Laura and the kids.

The rest of the trip was full of laughter and fun. Playing games, staying up way too late, and just having the best time. Never having siblings was hard for me because I wanted to be a big sister so badly when I was little. But I did have to say I loved being an aunt.

The day we left Nat was taking me home and we were all saying goodbye.

"Come back soon," Lila told me as she hugged me.

"Just as soon as I can," I tell her before also telling Copper goodbye with a hug.

Laura walked over to me.

"Don't be a stranger, feel free to stop by anytime even without Clint or Nat."

"Alright, thanks for having me."

"You are most welcome, stay safe and call me when you get home. I love you, sweetie."

She pulled me into another mom hug and I enjoyed it as long as I could.

"Thank you, I will, I love you too." Once we let go I went over to Clint who just told Nat goodbye as she went to Laura.

"Will I see you soon old men?"

"Who are you calling old men?"

"You are starting to slow in age."

"Thanks, I opened my home to you and you call me old."

"Only because I love you."

"I love you as well sweetie."

"Good because there is no way you are going to be able to get rid of me at this point."

"Wouldn't dream of it. You be safe and I will see you in a few."

"You as well. Thank you for everything."

"Anytime kiddo." He pulled me in for a hug and I felt safe. Like I always did with him and the others.

Nat and Laura were having a small conversation but I did overhear a little.

"Keep our girl safe" Laura had told Nat as they hugged which made me smile at how much they all loved me and made me feel wanted.

"Ready to go, sweetie?"

"I think so, you?"

"As much as I can be." We all walked out to Nat's car and Clint put the last of our things in the back while both kids hugged us again.

"Come back soon."

"Try and stop us," Nat told them.

"I will see you soon," I told them both and Laura gave both of us another hug.

"Drive safe and let me know you make it there."

"Will do. Bye love you all." Clint hugs both of us and we get into the car.

"Love you too" they call back. Nat starts the car and we start to drive away. Them waving at us, and us waving to them.

"Are you Ok?"

"I just really hate leaving here."

"I know I do as well. It's a safe place. A place we can call home away from everything else."

"That it is. Are you ready to go back to the real world?"

"As long as you are there, I think I will be alright."

"I'm always there for you Nat."

"Good because you are a light in my world and there is no way I could be alright in a world where you were not."

"I am glad I have you as well Nat. Thanks for taking me home."

"Well, I have to deliver you to Stark myself. Make sure he understands that if anything happens to you on his watch he will have to deal with me."

"You do know this is why everyone says you go into mama spider mode with me right?"

"Yes, I do. Now let's get some road trip food. Turn the music way too loud and have a fun time before I return you to your father."

"Sounds amazing."

Once we got to the town store she pulled in and we went and got some snacks before getting back on the road. We turned the music up and then proceeded to scream most of the songs that would come on. If a song came on we didn't like we searched channels until we found one that we did. Overall It was a pretty amazing way to end an amazing trip.

Once we got to dad's New York place Nat parked the car and helped me grab my things.

"I had a lot of fun Nat, think you."

"You are welcome. Maybe next time I can take you on a girl's trip."

"I would like that."

"Good, I will see what I can do." I quickly sent Laura a message that I was home and safe

We walked up to the apartment we were staying at for the moment and I opened the door with my key. The truth was this place was amazing with a beautiful view and so much space I loved it.

"Aww, the daughter returns with the former assassin who is an undercover spy."

"Daddy be nice. Nat did what had to be done."

"So you like Iron Man just not me?"

"It's nothing personal. Maybe if you work with Rebekah she can teach you how to be an agent and be considered."

"Well I am pretty busy so we will see." Just then Pepper walked into the room.

"Rebekah I'm so glad you are home." She hugged me and I smiled.

"See some people hug people they love when they get home," I told dad once Pepper and I broke apart.

"Come here," Dad said and then pulled me into a tight hug.

"I missed you, baby girl. I trust you had fun and were safe the whole time."

"For the most part, yes I was safe and I had a lot of fun thank you."

"Well agent Romanoff, thank you for taking care of my little girl."

"Always a pleasure to hang out with her. I trust you will take care of her, Stark."

"I will."

"You better. I need to get going. Good to see you, Pepper. Bye, sweetie."

"Bye Nat see you later." She pulled me into a hug.

"Let me know if you need anything. I love you." She whispered to me.

"I will, I love you too." She then pulled away and I walked her out as she said bye to dad and Pepper.

"Good trip then?" Pepper asked after I shut the door.

"It was an amazing trip." We had dinner together and I told them a little about the trip leaving out a lot that I couldn't say and they told me what had gone on while I was gone.

After dinner, I got ready for bed and fell asleep with a smile on my face.
