Trouble in Canada
On the Kalos Railway, the London and North Eastern Locomotives were wondering where their leader was. Silver Streak was the leader of the Kalos Railway's London and North Eastern Locomotives and he was Mallard's younger brother and Flying Scotsman's cousin and Flying Scotsman in turn was the younger brother of Gordon the North Western Railway's Number Four and the fleet's resident express locomotive for a time. At the moment Gordon was currently working stopping passenger trains on the island.
Galleth: Where is Silver? It's not like him to be late. He's usually so reliable.
Natalie: Perhaps we're overreacting. Silver may have just been delayed.
Perry: The question is by what? Broken engine on a buss or something? What could it be?
Nicole: Well if we were in steam we could go and find silver. Instead, it's late and our boilers just cooled off. We should be out looking for our leader not sitting around doing nothing.
Nigel: Nicole, I want to go and find Silver as much as you do but as you said it's late and we're not ins team and the last thing our controller needs is more than one of us going missing right now. Besides you volunteered for Mail train duty remember and Kenan's on some odd jobs.
Nicole was about to say something but she heard a whistle and to the surprise of the Kalos Railway's London and North Eastern Locomotive fleet it was Christ the resident Thompson L1 and the bigger surprise was that Chris was piloting Silver and his whistle was shot off.
Nicole: Silver what the hell happened to your whistle? Did you lose it in a fight?
Silver: My whistle was shot off. There was a robbery. Some of the local gangs attacked my passengers.
Natale: Oh my word. A local gang did this? Are you alright Silver? Wait, are you saying what I think you're saying?
Silver: I'm afraid so Natalie. Arcanon is testing us and my passengers stood up to the thugs who robbed them or attempted to rob them and held them to the floor of my coaches long enough for the cops to arrive. Unfortunately, my whistle was shot off so I had to wait until I could get another engine to pilot me to the station.
Chris: Now I have to take Silver to the shops to see if any additional damage was done.
Nicole: So where is everyone else? Bret and Gervase are gonna have their buffers full helping us out and where are the BR Standard Class locomotives?
Silver: Arturo and Gabi are on general goods and Colby's away winning some important contracts for the Kalos Railway which means they won't be back till tomorrow. The good news is that Eric, Typhoon and Tempest are due to return.
Kenan: Great to hear and D.K. Simon, and Bull are coming back as well. Still, I get the feeling that this Arcanon guy is not going to take this insult lying down. Most likely, he's going to cause havoc in a country that's currently home to one of Silver's relatives which means one of North America's countries is going to be a target.
Galleth: The United States of America are paying attention so odds are Arcanon is targeting Canada.
Silver: Then we need to warn the current owners of my sister Dominion of Canada as well as Dwight D Eisenhauer just to be on the safe side.
Natalie: And we will. Chris take silver to the shops for repairs.
Chris didn't need to be told twice as he took silver to the shops while Abigail had taken charge of Silver's train as soon as they arrived at the station.
At the Kalos Railway's main workshops the men were getting ready to check for any and all damage. The Kalos Controller was having a word with the manager.
The Kalos Controller: Let's skip the small talk and get straight to the point because we don't have time. How bad is it?
The Kalos Works Manager: It's not that serious but we've got Silver Streak in the main workshops just to be safe. However, we found some other issues while examining him. It's just the hallmarks of wear and tear but he's gonna be off the service roster for a while. For the time being, Abigail, Nicole, and Natalie will have to pick up the slack and do his work as well as their own. The good news is that the other engines in the Shop on the Kalos Railways London and North Eastern Section are ready to go.
The Kalos Controller: At least there's a silver lining from all of this but no I have to warn the owners of the other seven A4 class that they're in danger.
Little did he know that Arcanon was preparing to do exactly that as they spoke.

In the country of Canada, Arcanon's crew continued to observe the prison where the leader of the Canadian Terrors was being kept. The Leader of the crew got a phone call and it came from Lord Arcanon himself saying it was time. Arcanon's crew in Canada got the message and put the plan they compiled into place.
A few days later Silver's repairs were coming along but due to the hallmarks of wear and tear found he was still off the active service roster and would still be so for at least another week or so. On the other hand the rest of the LNER locomotives were back in service which was some comfort to Silver but unfortunately the Kalos Controller arrived and had a grim look on his face.
The Kalos Controller: Silver I have some bad news. We just discovered that your sister Dominion of Canada was vandalized and the museum she was residing in was completely trashed and badly damaged and that's not even the worst of it. The leader of the Canadian Terrors has been broken out of prison, the prison itself has been destroyed, any other inmates there are also free and those who sent the leader of the Canadian Terrors to prison are in grave danger including the former right hand of the group.
Silver Streak: Then this means Canada is about to experience trouble and danger unlike anything they've ever experienced. Still if we are to send the boss back to prison we'll need to figure out what their end game is.
The Kalos Controller: I'll make a few phone calls but watch yourself. If the boss of the Canadian Terrors escaped then outside help was involved so chances are Lord Arcanon is involved and if he's not then somebody acting on his behalf is. Either way we must continue with our duties and that means we must continue to fight the crows and those who hire them from schoolyard bullies and brats to the organized crime lords. What I'm saying is you and the fleet are to do what you've been doing up to this point.
Silver Streak understood as he went to collect his passengers as Nigel had already arranged his coaches.
The Kalos Controller: (Thinking) Arcanon's getting stronger and so is his organization. We need to defeat them and the crows now before things get even worse. Still the fact that Brody, Monica, Zach and Churton Hall completed their mission is good news which means Edward now has no excuse to undermine Duchess Corrinne anymore.
In the London and North Eastern section of the Kalos Railway, Lord Arcanon was holding court in an abandoned warehouse that was located far away from the railway. The warlord himself was having a discussion with one of his lieutenants about the recent news that hit the papers.
Lord Arcanon: I've just gotten word from my team in Canada and I'm pleased with how the jailbreak went. My team not only freed the boss but they destroyed the entire prison so nobody can imprison her again.
The Lieutenant of Arcanon's French Branch of his organization spoke.
Lieutenant: I would expect nothing less from our Canadian team. They are the finest group of criminals I've put together from Canada's provences. However I bring some disturbing news from the boss of the American branch of our organization. The FBI and their various divisions are starting to fight back and word on the street is that their fugitive task force is going after a fugitive we plan to ship to a country that has no extradition with the United States. If the fugitive task force catches this fugitive then our reputation is shot and we're finished.
Lord Arcanon: I'm well aware of that and as you should know by now I'm three moves ahead. I've got my elite team keeping an eye on the fugitive task force and hat's the team in the states. The Fugitive task force has no power outside of America which means we can rub it in their face and we let the fugitives on the run hide out on Sodor than we ship them off to countries with no extradition to America.
Lieutenant: Lord Arcanon what happens if you fail to rescue a fugitive or what if members of the Gold Dragons in the countries in question try to team up with Duchess Corrinne to help our enemies out like before?
Lord Arcanon: you seem to forget Lieutenant that I'm always three steps ahead. The way to rescuing a fugitive is to make it so that anybody tracking said fugitive is kept off the trail by creating a big enough ruckus to draw the task force away. As for failing to rescue a fugitive. I have yet to fail but I usually have a back up plan. Even if the fugitive is caught there is still the matter of transporting said fugitive and I've got a plan to free them in transit. Now what's the progress on that swan in Barrow in Furness?
Lieutenant: The team is making progress on tailing Piper Kelly but we've got problems. The Gold Dragons are interfering as usual and the Controllers of Sodor's railways are all united to take you down.
Lord Arcanon: Then we'll just have to dispose of them but first the Swan.
Lieutenant: Yes sir.
Back on the London and North Eastern Section of the Kalos Railway Silver was given some time to process the news that he had been given about his sister Dominion of Canada and the recent Jailbreak.
Silver: I thought for sure that the Canadian Terrors were history according to my sister. But I guess I thought wrong.
Silver's Driver: The worst part is that if Arcanon did this just because your passengers stood up to his enemies then a wave of fear and terror will sweep all over the land and then I'm not sure how Lieutenant Piper Kelly will hold up.
Silver's Fireman: You think Arcanon may try to kill Lieutenant Piper Kelly for all the hard work she's been doing do you?
Silver's Driver: I don't think he'll kill her. I'm sure he's likely going to have her killed.
Silver: Then in that case we'd better continue moving. Who knows what's going to happen?
Silver went to the platform and found his coaches were waiting for him. He coupled up and took the stopping service along the line while Natalie was covering for him on his usual express service. Nicole meanwhile had volunteered to cover the parcel run for today which meant the team was gonna need Colby now more than ever.
The coaches knew that Silver was a bit tense and that the news of what happened to his cousin in Canada was hurting him.
Lead Coach: Penny for your thoughts Silver?
Silver: Arcanon's organization is after all of my relatives because my passengers stood up to his hired help. And that means I may have to head to Sodor in person to warn Spencer and Gordon that they're about to be the targets of Arcanon's wrath. Then again Duchess Corrinne's already enraged at me and all of my relatives because of what Union of South Africa did by betraying her and Duchess Corrinne is known to hold grudges.
Lead Coach: To be fair all of your relatives had it coming. After all nobody betrays Duchess Corrinne and gets away with it. In some cases, the penalty is death or in our case scrap. Duchess Corrinne took a page from her namesake's ancestors and sent the gold dragons to beat entire families to a pulp because of what their relatives did to her and her allies. Word from the passengers is that the London Midland and Scottish Locomotives on the Kalos Railway and in the United Kingdom are ready to back Duchess Corrinne up if she does consider declaring war upon Arcanon, his empire, and all who hire him and his crew or those aligned with his crew. Even the Sherwood Forester has had enough and is ready to declare war.
Silver gulped knowing that such penalties were extreme and that the leader of the Kalos Railway's LMS locomotive fleet had been listening to her Chinese and Japanese Counterparts Pavel and Aiko respectively and both of them advocated the use of brutal force upon their enemies and all who crossed them while Akio was a clear supporter of old school samurai era punishments. Silver also knew that Sherwood Forester was one of the more reasonable Black Fives and that if she was willing to follow Duchess Corrinne into war and declare war then all hope for peace was dead and gone and that those who dared to stand in the way were all going to die.
Silver: (Nervously) Surely it won't come to total annihilation of our enemies and all of their relatives will it?
Lead Coach: At this point total annihilation of our enemies and all of their relatives is the only course of action we have at this point. Do you really want to be the one to oppose the wrath of Duchess Corrinne, her namesake's descendants, her counterparts, and the entire organization that answers to them?
Silver gulped knowing full well that messing with them was a one way ticket to the scrap heap for him and all of his relatives and a one way trip to the hospital for all of their crews and their crews relatives.
Silver: (Frightened) No.
Lead Coach: (Deadpanning) I didn't think so. Let's hope your relatives on Sodor have the same level of sense as you do.
Silver gulped hoping that the lead coach was right knowing full well that the choices he made and the actions he took would pretty much affect creation at this point.
On the Island of Sodor Bear was having a word with Edward at his station as he was taking some trucks while Edward was in his own yard and needless to say Edward was shocked.
Edward: (Shocked) Say what? Are you serious Bear? The LMS engines are all ready to declare war?
Bear: Yep. They've had it with you and your pathetic attempts to reform Coi's sack of crap she calls her offspring. So now they're ready to take over. Kayla says that the Stanier 8Fs are ready to call Duchess Corrinne over so she can lead the attack personally by sending in the Gold Dragons to eliminate out Coi and all of her relatives by impaling them before killing Arcanon and his entire empire once and for all and doing the same to his relatives.
Edward: I knew Duchess Corrinne was outraged by to kill those who have done her no harm just because they're related to her enemies is beyond anything I could imagine. For one I'm at a complete loss for words.
Bear: And that's not the worst of it. As a Furness Railway K2 you'll have no choice but to tell Duchess Corrinne what you've been doing on Coi's behalf as Corrinne is the leader of the LMS locomotives.
Edward: I know which is why at this point I've run out of time.
Bear: Edward it's not too late to tell Coi that you've run out of time and there's nothing more you can do. You can save yourself and your crew and all of their relatives a trip to the morgue and an unnecessary blood bath.
Edward: Sorry Bear but even though I've run out of time I'm not giving up. Coi asked for my help in trying to keep Camille from going down the same dark path Coi herself went down and I'm not about to walk away. Besides how would it look if I betrayed Coi's trust?
Bear: You're worried about Coi's trust? You should be more worried about Spencer, Gordon, and the Flying Scotsman. They're in danger of becoming targets of Arcanon's wrath and they've already been targets of Duchess Corrinne's rage because you and their relative Union of South Africa betrayed Corrinne by standing against her along with King Edward I, Sherwood Forester, and Clan Line. I'd rather face the wrath of Arcanon than face Duchess Corrinne's wrath and I for one am gonna do everything I can to avoid Corrinne's fury even if that means telling her where to find her enemies so she can eliminate them and all of their relatives. You should also do the same if you value your life.
Edward was about to reply but his guard's whistle blew which meant that it was time for him to go.
Edward: I'm not gonna give up Bear. I didn't give up on my passengers and I'm not about to back out now.
Bear said nothing more knowing that he said all he could before leaving with his goods train.
In the Canadian Capital of Ottawa, Arcanon's Canadian Branch of his organization were helping the leader of the Canadian Terrors rebuild their empire by wreaking havoc across the land terrorizing anybody and everyone who dared to oppose the Canadian Terrors and Arcanon's organization.
Canadian Squad Leader: (Via phone) Squad Leader to Lord Arcanon. We have good news.
Lord Arcanon: It better be good news.
Squad Leader: We've broken out the leader of the Canadian Terrors and have gotten payback upon the ones that crossed the leader. We've also destroyed the prison and wiped out all of the guards and are preparing to solidify your hold upon Canada. We've even got support from some of the diesels saying that they're glad the steam engines in the museum were trashed and vandalized saying steam engines have no place in this world and that Duchess Corrinne is a pile of scrap. We've even been recruiting for the Crows as well as or organization.
Lord Arcanon: Excellent report so far.
Squad Leader: Unfortunately, we've got some bad news. The Gold Dragons in Canada are beginning to fight back and they're taking Duchess Corrinne's policies as the new standard in discipline by stating that anybody who joins Arcanon's crew or any crew aligned to Arcanon's crew or the Crows is to be either eliminated on sight and disowned by the family or they and all the relatives will be beaten to death.
Lord Arcanon: Then they're playing right into our hands. By disowning relatives who join up with us those relatives will have nothing left to loose and then the world will be ours to control. For now did you smash the Railways still preserving steam engines?
Squad Leader: Already done and your English Branch has freed a bus that was being used as a henhouse and butchered all the hens inside before transporting said bus to be used for our ends. There's even more they managed to get a barge that was used as a children's playground and bring it to our hidden aquatic base.
Lord Arcanon: Excellent. Those two will make great additions for our plans soon enough. But for now, continue as you've been doing and keep recruiting for our cause. The more members the crows and our group have the less members the Gold Dragons will have. They are the only ones who can stop us but once we overwhelm them they'll be eliminated on the spot.
Lord Arcanon hung up the call on that note before making his way to Barrow in Furness to check on the progress of eliminating Lieutenant Piper Kelly.
Back on the Island of Sodor, Sir Richard Hatt the fourth Fat Controller of the North Western Railway was having a word with Henry, Gordon, James, Donald, Douglass, Wendell, Pip, Emma, Bear, and Barry, Murdoch, and Belle. Nia was called away to the Steamworks and Rebecca was called to the Mainland on Swan's command so BoCo was present.
The Fat Controller: It's time to review the worst-case scenario so listen up everyone. If Edward fails in his task of keeping Camille from going down the same dark path as her mother Coi did as the most dangerous crime boss of the United Kingdom then the Gold Dragons will have to take over the task of eliminating Arcanon, his organization and everyone who ever teamed up with Arcanon's organization and that means Duchess Corrinne will lead the attack.
BoCo: I understand what you're saying sir but we shouldn't give up on Edward or his task until it's over.
Wendell: Are you serious BoCo? I'm a diesel and even I'm saying that Edward has taken on the one task that even he may not be able to complete. Need I remind you that Camille is Coi's daughter and she hates steam engines as much as her father's engine Diesel does? She grew up in Barrow in Furness and spent half her life at the Barrow in Furness Ironworks and scrap yards. So, excuse me for having little to no confidence in Edward's abilities.
Everyone else agreed with what Wendell was saying but BoCo had to make a comment.
BoCo: So what are you saying Wendell that Edward should just fold?
Wendell: I'm saying that Edward needs to prepare for the worst case scenario and let Corrinne take the lead if that happens.
BoCo: I'm not giving up on Edward and we shouldn't give up on Edward until it's over. It's not over and I'm not saying the worst case scenario won't come to pass but we need to have more faith in Edward.
Wendell: At this point Edward's run out of time and its time for a fresh approach. And that means we let Duchess Corrinne take the lead. Must I repeat myself?
The other engines all agreed with the idea of letting Duchess Corrinne and the Gold Dragons take lead on the attack against Arcanon as BoCo sighed knowing that Edward had run out of time.
BoCo: (thinking) I'm sorry Edward. I tried my best to buy you some more time but it looks like I failed and it seems a war is coming.
The Fat Controller could tell what BoCo was thinking and knew that he did all he could to give Edward all the time he needed as Coi begged him for help but it looked like all hope was truly lost. It would be up to Duchess Corrinne to take the lead in battling Arcanon's organization and the Thin Controller would be supporting the Gold Dragons from here on out.
