Issei finds himself amid a battle that could very well be for his life, in a featureless room Issei barely dodges a bolt of lighting aimed at his soaked body, the fabric of his school uniform clinking to his body uncomfortably so. His aggressor, the king of their peerage stood across from him with a neutral expression left arm outstretched with her anger and jealousy just below the surface. "We can stop this, you know, I can forgive you for playing with another girl. I can cancel our bet my little Knight, and still give you everything that you could ever ask for, as long as you stay mine that is. You can't win. So let's just end this farce already." Serafall finished punctuating the statement with a smile.

However, as she spoke Issei was busy trying to avoid the trail of electricity seemingly following him everywhere he, no matter what steps he took, was cut off at the pass. The moment she stopped Issei jumped up with the lighting bending at a ninety-degree angle trying to meet him regardless. 'Dammit,' was Issei's first thought, bringing his arms to his chest in the notion to block the upcoming attack.

[Balance Breaker!]

The familiar sight of the Boosted Gear's balance breaker filled the empty white room with a blinding golden aura, Issei tanked the hit with care when the signature scale-mail covered his body. "Gotcha." A sickeningly twisted grin crossed his opponent's face, and Serafall brought one arm to meet the outstretched one. Creating an open mouth with her hands she closed it intertwining her fingers at the exact moment the armor covered the boy's body.

The first thing Issei felt was his body tightening as the electricity hit home, somehow remaining afloat with the loss of his motor functions. The second was a force knocking out of the air from behind shortly after another force brought back up. Stuck in the middle, Issei let out a yelp of pain as they both met. "Gahh..." Was all he could manage as he was crushed under both. Not even a moment passed when Serafall released her hands.

Bringing her arms to her sides she admired her handy work watching Issei's limp body fall hitting the ground with a loud crash. "I know that you are not done my little Kyouma, you really should stop holding back." She stretched her arms to their full wingspan as if Serafall was waiting for the boy to come at her for an embrace. "After all, I am the only person in this world that can take all of you." She giggled at her use of words.

In a separate room, Mei and a white-haired woman had their eyes locked on a projection of the battle, with Issei's descent however Mei moved to exit. Fear and anger showed on her face, the images had no sound so the girl feared the worst. She was stopped by the woman grabbing her by the wrist. "Where do you think you are going?" The woman asked with a cool and calm voice, clearly not bothered by the sight.

"Sera-nee went too far, Issei is new to all this. Even if she thinks that he can handle it, to push him this far is..." Mei looked to the ground. "Just let me go Shu."

"Apparently you don't know your friend as well as you think Mei." Shu spoke through prominent fangs and crimson eyes. She pointed at the black mist emitting from Issei's body all the while Mei's eyes were widening in surprise.

"It can't be."

"Well, that's a surprise."

Serafall had an immediate response squatting down, placing both hands on the ground creating a magic circle that glowed a golden hue. The mist never came anywhere near her with her magic circle creating an invisible barrier around it, with a satisfied grin she laughed to herself. "I would say this was an interesting development, but you already hold dominion over my heart, you haven't learned to practice moderation so I can not let you dominate me with your charm just yet. Especially with you thinking of other girls." She was cut off much to her glee by an all too familiar female voice mixed with Issei's.

"BLACK FLAME REBELLION!"

"So you are much stronger than I could ever hope for, that's a relief." Serafall commented.

Issei's body blinked out of reality to the surprise of the observers, though Serafall was calm through glowing pale blue eyes. Almost in the same instant, Issei appeared behind her with a pure black katana raised above his head, and an appearance that had changed he had one ram-like horn finding its base on the left side of his forehead, faint purple eyeshadow, a canine snaggletooth, and crimson eyes. Swinging the blade there was no resistance as he cut down into her shoulder and through her torso, a little in shock fear overtook Issei thinking that he might have killed her, but it was all for not. Her image flicked under the artificial light before disappearing entirely.

He did not have long to think as he felt the jab of two fingers connecting with the back of his head. "You shouldn't ever assume you have the upper hand, Issei. I like you alive." He felt the heat from his hair being burned by a flame, trying to move away; he was brought back in by an embrace from behind, Serafall's arms wrapping around him with her hands at his chest. "Checkmate Kyo..." Nuzzling her head into the crook of his neck she spoke again. "It's your loss, don't forget our bet, okay."

Issei's features returned to normal, he sighed and answered her. "Fine, but was that all you wanted? I thought you would have asked more than you did."

"Yes..." she said with a tone that sounded lonely. "I promised that I would wait for you to want the same, I may be selfish but your happiness means the world to me."

"Alright, then I will see you tonight, Chris-nee."
