Author's Note: I have decided to make crossover fanfics with Spider-Man and any other fandom. It won't just be about Spider-Man though. It can be about alternate universe versions or different variations or side characters or supervillains or even Spider-Man from movies and cartoons. For example, Spider-Gwen will be a part of DC's Super Hero Girls.

This fanfic was a collaboration with StoriesUnleashed.

Now, as I will be using elements from the Spider-Gwen series in this fanfic, I will take some liberties of my own. I hope you all like this fanfic. Any and all comments are welcome.

Throughout the city of Metropolis, the big TV screens were playing a certain promotional video hosted by a bald teenager in an office. He smiled at the camera with a friendly charisma.

"Oh. Hello, Metropolis. I'm Lex Luthor. When I first started Lexcorp, I didn't set out to create an international corporate empire that would make me the youngest mega-billionaire in the world. I did it for you. Our researchers continue to make breakthroughs in everything from virtual reality to the genetically-enhanced turkey on your Thanksgiving table. But even though we're the most powerful corporation in the world, you can purchase our products knowing that deep down, Lexcorp is a family company." Lex pulled to his side a little, grumpy girl with blonde hair. "Isn't that right, Lena?" He urged her until she smiled.

The TV screens changed to the Lexcorp logo along with a little jingle. "Lexcorp cares!"

The screens then changed to a news broadcast. The footage showed a giant monster that attacked the streets. Suddenly, it was fought off by a mysteriously hooded woman.

The news anchor covered the footage. "As has became all too clear in recent months, despite having the likes of Superman looking out for her citizens, Metropolis is still in need of further super help. This was the scene this morning in Midtown, where a small glimmer of hope may finally have arrived. And now, we're left with the question everyone is asking: Who is this Wonder Woman?"

The drive to Metropolis High was somewhat quiet for the Stacy family. As soon as their car stopped, the blonde teenage girl walked out to face her new school which was across the street. Before walking in, she turned to her middle-aged dad who sat in the driver's seat.

"You doing okay, Gwen?" her father asked. "I know things were a little hard at New York, but…"

"Don't worry, Dad." Gwen said. "You're right. I think I really need this."

Mr. Stacy sighed before giving his daughter a soft smile. "All right. Just be safe and don't be afraid to open up. Who knows? Maybe you'll find some new friends here. Later, sweetie."

"Love you, Dad." Gwen waved as her car drove off. As soon as he left, her face dropped sadly. "Yeah. Friends."

Gwen began her walk toward the school when suddenly, the inside of her brain felt like it was shaking. As if on instinct, she jumped and flipped forward just in time to dodge a car that almost hit her. She landed perfectly on the sidewalk right next to another teenage girl with red hair and a purple hoodie coat with little bat ears on top. The red-headed girl stared with astonishment which made Gwen nervous.

"Whoa! How did you do that?"

"I, uh… used to be on the gymnastics team at my old school." Gwen lied.

"Okay…" the red-headed girl said seeming unconvinced. "Anyway, I'm Babs. What's your name?"

"Gwen."

"Nice to meet you, Gwen."

"Right. Well, I gotta go." Gwen walked off before the conversation would go any further.

Most of the school day went on as usual. Classes were held and kids were gossiping. But when Gwen overheard people talking about superheroes, she's turn away from the conversation quickly. She spent most of the day without talking to anyone. She didn't like it, but she felt like she didn't have a choice. However, everything changed at lunchtime.

The main course was a big plate of spaghetti. Gwen made sure to find a table that didn't have a lot of people on it. The best she could find was one with a little African-American girl with a bee-themed sweater. Her name was Karen Beecher. Thankfully for Gwen, Karen wasn't much for conversation either.

Gwen sat at her table quietly eating her lunch. Suddenly, the same sense that warned her of the incoming car tingled in her head again. She ducked down to avoid the handful of spaghetti that almost hit her. It flew overhead and hit someone else at the next table. That someone was a tough-looking, blonde girl in a leather jacket. With a head covered with spaghetti, she growled and looked over where the food came from, which unfortunately appeared to be Gwen Stacy's table.

"Oh, do you think that's funny, huh? Wanna throw food at Kara Danvers?" she asked picking up a handful of her own spaghetti. "Well, take this!"

Gwen used her instant reflexes to dodge the food. She landed on the ground and held out her hand to indicate for Kara to stop. "Wait! You don't understand! I didn't…"

Kara didn't stop to listen. Instead, she threw another handful which would have hit Karen. Thankfully, another girl stepped in and deflected the attack with her lunch tray. This girl had brown skin, brown hair, a green cap, and a green, flowery dress. Her name was Jessica Cruz.

"Leave them alone, you big bully!"

"My… hair." Growled a girl called Zee from the next table over. Her purple hair was covered by the same spaghetti that the green-dressed girl deflected. "MY… HAIR!"

Soon enough, Gwen and the other four girls began throwing their food at each other. Things only got worse when Babs jumped up at a lunch table with handfuls of her own food and yelled out "FOOD FIGHT!" Just like that, every student in the cafeteria were throwing their lunches around. Gwen meanwhile stayed on her toes trying to avoid as much of the lunch as she could. All that ended when Kara tackled her right to where the other girls were. It was at that time that the school's teacher, Mr. Chapin came in.

"ENOUGH! I SAID ENOUGH!"

All of a sudden, all the students stopped and pointed at the six girls who started the food fight: Gwen, Babs, Kara, Karen, Jessica, and Zee. Chapin towered over them with authority.

"You six, let's go."

"Detention on the first day." Chapin said before clicking his tongue. He guided the girls to their desks in the detention room where they all took a seat.

"I hope you all have good attorneys." Zee said.

Kara scoffed. "What are you going to do? Sue me for having better aim than you?"

"I knew you threw those potatoes!"

"Hey! She's the one who started it!" Kara pointed her thumb at Gwen.

"I did not." Gwen defended. "Someone threw food in my direction and I ducked!"

"Now, let's not start fighting again!" Jessica said.

"You threw more nuggets than anyone!" Kara said.

"Um…" Karen said shyly, "For the record, if I offended anyone, I'm truly very sorry."

The door opened again and a police officer walked in accompanied by a girl covered with a black hood.

"We found her just walking around the streets, Mr. Chapin."

"Cutting class on the first day of school." Chapin said before clicking his tongue again. "Get in here with the other delinquents while I find out which homeroom you're in."

Without any argument, the hooded girl walked in while Chapin left the room. Once he was gone, she removed her hood. Most of the other girls, including Gwen, were awestruck seeing her tall figure with tan skin, black hair, and a red-and-blue armor that had gold plates. As she sat down, everyone had their strong suspicions on who she was.

"No way." Gwen gasped.

"That's… She's…" Karen started to say.

"Gorgeous." Zee said.

"Is that…" Jessica asked.

Babs gasped with glee. "The Wonder Woman."

Kara, however, didn't share in the other girls' wonder. Instead, she just scoffed. "That's no wonder woman. It's just some dumb cosplay girl."

"I am no girl." The armored teen corrected. "I am Diana, Princess of the Amazons. I alone survived the 21 tests of the tournament of Athena and Aphrodite. By right, I am not a girl, but a woman."

"Tournament of what now?" Gwen asked.

"Athena and Aphrodite. They're the patrons of my homeland of Themyscira."

"Whatever." Kara said unimpressed. "Just listen, princess, you do not want to start with me."

"Is that a challenge?" Diana asked fiercely.

"For you, maybe." Kara replied confidently as she stood up from her seat.

"Very well." Diana said getting into a fighting pose. "I shall allow you first strike."

Kara shrugged. "All right. But you asked for it."

Gwen rolled her eyes. "Yeah. This is gonna go well."

Kara threw her first punches, which Diana dodged easily. They continued to trade blows until Kara became so frustrated, she landed a punch that hit Diana so hard, it send her crashing right through the wall. Everyone was very surprised to see that, even Kara who looked worried.

"Oh, my goodness! I am so sorry! Are you…"

Kara was interrupted by Diana tackling her to the ground. The two of them continued to fight angrily tearing the classroom apart.

"BOTH OF YOU, STOP!" Jessica yelled out pointing her green ring at them. Suddenly, a light shot out and materialized in the form of a green spring that kept Kara and Diana apart. "Fighting is never the answer!"

"Yes!" Karen said struggling to do something at the back of the classroom. She put on a yellow-and-black suit of armor that had a bee pattern on it. "The answer is…" Suddenly, she shrank down into the size of a real bee "Running away!"

Gwen kept looking around at all the girls that surrounded her continued to show off their powers in a very chaotic manner. She dropped her jaw further taking note at what everyone else could do.

"Hold on. Do they all have super powers?" Gwen asked. "What's going on?"

"Teacher's coming." Zee said. Everyone stopped fighting when they saw Chapin's shadow silohette through the door about to open the door. Everyone panicked and attempted to tidy up the classroom as fast as they could, but it was clear it was going to be all in vain. Thankfully, they had Zee with them who pulled out her wand and said "Tup siht os ssalc egnarts niaga!"

By the time Chapin opened the door, Zee's spell had already done its magic and the entire classroom was restored and all the girls were in their seats with innocent smiles.

"Is everything all right in here?"

"Yes, Mr. Chapin." Zee said.

"Okay. Just forgot my keys." Chapin said getting what he came for. As soon as he closed the door again, Babs wasted no time jumping up in front of everyone excitedly.

"AHA! I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! I knew you were super. I knew it the minute Kara dented that car door because no ordinary person could possibly slam a door that hard. And then, when Karen spilled all those weird metal thingies on the bus, I knew there was something weird with you too. And then Zee, all of a sudden, had your backpack in your hand in the blink of an eye, and I was like 'That's weird'. And then Gwen performed perfect agility in an instant like you could see that car coming without looking. That was definitely not normal. And then, I overheard Jessica talking to that cute boy about some Corps thing and some ring and I knew something was up. So I decided to start a food fight so that we all get detention together, which totally worked. And then you, Diana, I wasn't planning on you showing up at all, so that's just like a huge bonus anyway. My plan was that you'd all keep fighting once we got to detention and all get so worked up that you'd be forced to reveal that you're super. And guess what, so am I! The one and only… Batgirl!"

"Uh…" Gwen said confusingly. "Could you repeat that last part?"

"Which last part?" Babs asked.

"Everything after 'I knew it'."

"She basically said she knows we all have powers and that she's a super hero too." Zee said.

Gwen frowned. "Oh. Yeah, that's what I was afraid of."

"Huzzah!" Diana exclaimed joyously toward Babs. "At last. A sister-in-arms. Never had I dreamed I would encounter the warrior spirit of an Amazon upon entering the world of Man. For you see, it is my quest, my crusade, my destiny, to bring the Amazon way of peace and prosperity to Man's World and to rid it of all evil. The gods bestowed this honor upon me, and I feared I alone should have to carry that burden. But now, I have a sister by my side."

"No." Babs said. She pointed at the other. "Six sisters."

"What?" Gwen asked.

"Look, we all have powers." Babs said. "If we work together, we could be the most awesome super hero team ever!"

"Uh, no." Kara said. "I use my powers, I get in trouble. Every single time."

"Not me either." Jessica said. "I'm not fighting anyone."

"Sorry. I am artiste, not a police officer." Zee said.

"Um… I'm not really that good at it." Karen whispered.

"Cowards!" Diana called out. "I speak of destiny. The same mantle of greatness the gods bestowed upon me, they have also bestowed upon you."

"Plus, come on, you guys." Babs continued. "How can you not be excited about heroes and villains and fighting crime and hidden lairs and secret identities and stuff?"

"Um, the trick with secret identities, my dear," Zee said, "Is that in order to remain secret, one must convincingly pass as a normal human being. Diana here doesn't."

"Tell you what then." Babs said. "You guys give being a team a teensie try, she'll teach us how to be heroes, and you can give her a makeover. Deal?"

Zee shrugged. "Who am I to say no to a makeover?"

"Um… okay." Karen accepted.

"Good for you, Karen." Jessica said. "I'll try too, but only to support and encourage Karen's brave decision."

"Fine. Whatever." Kara said.

"No." Gwen said.

That answer caught everyone off guard, including Babs. "Gwen?"

"You heard me." Gwen said sullenly. "I said, no. I'm not joining you guys. If you want to go through with it, go ahead. I won't stop you. But I'm not being a hero."

"Why not?" Babs asked.

"Believe it or not, being a super hero is not all fun and games. There are risks. And… Sometimes, you can't pay it."

"So you've got awesome reflexes and a sixth sense for incoming danger, and you're just not going to use them to help people?" Babs asked.

"I'm sorry, but I can't. Good luck to you girls, but I'm out." Gwen took her stuff to the furthest corner of the classroom away from them.

"Sheesh. What's her deal?" Kara asked.

Babs looked at Gwen strangely. She could tell that Gwen wanted to join, but something was holding her back. That made Babs concerned and curious.
