"The demo-bots?" Green Lantern asked. "Are they trying to destroy the pier?"

"This is ridiculous!" Spider-Woman said. "What's going on?"

"It doesn't matter." Wonder Woman said. "Sisters, with me!"

The girls stood in front of the demo-bots who entered the fair. They readied themselves getting into battle position.

"You must vacate this business or dwelling immediately." One of the demo-bots said. "You are interfering with lawful demolition protocols. You have ten seconds to comply."

"Oh, yeah?" Supergirl asked daringly. "Well, you got ten seconds to say your prayers."

That was when something new stomped in. Behind the demo-bots was a much bigger, mechanical figure. It was shaped like a person, but it had a dark-gray metal with green lines. There was a green cockpit visor with the Lexcorp logo underneath it.

"Come to have some fun, girls?" asked a voice from inside the metal figure.

"AH-HA!" Batgirl pointed at the logo on the robot's chest. "I knew it! I knew it was Lex! I knew it, I knew it, I knew it, I knew it!" She calmed herself down and cleared her throat. "I knew it was Lex."

"Lex? I am not Lex!" The voice from inside the robot sounded much younger and more feminine. It was then that the green visor opened up revealing the real pilot: a certain blonde girl in her pre-teen years. "I'm Lena! Lena Luthor! And all this. This is my plan, not my dopey brother's! He could never come up with something this good."

"What?" Spider-Woman asked. "You're telling me that the evil mastermind was Lex Luthor's kid sister all along? I don't get it."

"DO I HAVE TO SPELL IT OUT?!" Lena yelled out in frustration.

"Yeah, you kinda do!" Supergirl said.

"Figures." Lena groaned. "You teenagers think you're so smart with your staying up late and your driving cars and your commercials. But you're so dumb, you can't even pick up on the most obvious of evil plots, even when it's literally in front of your face. So first, I reprogrammed Lex's worthless VR glasses. Then, I hacked the demolition robots the city contracted my doofus brother to make. And finally, I used them to destroy every 'fun' and/or 'cool' place to 'hang' in Metropolis, so you lame-o teenagers will have nowhere else to go for your mindless entertainment. Trapped forever in my VR world. Tailor-made just for you. Every last lame-brained one of you. With all you teenagers out of the way, children will rule Metropolis!"

Lena ended her monologue with a villainous laugh, but the super hero girls just stared in disbelief.

"That's the dumbest plan I've ever heard." Supergirl commented.

"You're the dumbest plan I've ever heard!" Lena retorted. "And once this pier is destroyed, you're next!"

"This may be a dumb plan," Spider-Woman said, "But that doesn't mean we're letting you get away with property damage."

"Your plan will never work, Lena." Batgirl said. "We teenagers are stronger than you think." Her eyes incidentally caught Bumblebee being distracted by a VR goggle set. "Bumblebee!"

"Sorry." Bumblebee hurried to remove her goggles.

"The point is," Batgirl continued, "You can destroy our favorite places, but you'll never destroy our friendships!"

"Whatevs. Roll out, boys!" Lena commanded her demo-bot army who came at the girls with weapons.

"Come, sisters!" Wonder Woman said. "It was on this sacred ground that we became friends. Now, this pier is where we shall become heroes."

And so, the super hero girls began their fight against Lena Luthor's demo-bots. The girls did their own thing while Spider-Woman swung across. As she was in the air, an idea hit her head. She landed on top of a demo-bot and shot a web line from its top and stuck the other end onto another. She shot at another bot and another and another until a dozen of them were all connected by the very demo-bot that Spider-Woman was on. She then knocked it off the dock and into the water dragging the other demo-bots down with it.

During the fight, the other demo-bots began to gain ground as they started demolishing the pier rides.

"This isn't working!" Green Lantern said struggling to keep the fair from falling apart.

"There's too many of them!" Batgirl said.

"Tell me about it." Spider-Woman said. "I'm surprised all these bots haven't been tripping over each other like we were earlier."

"Well, we're seven people," Zatanna said, "And this whole army is being controlled by one girl."

"Wait… That's it!" Spider-Woman said. "Lena! If we beat her, I bet the demo-bots will follow!"

"Of course." Wonder Woman said. "Six warriors can't defeat an army, but we can take out the general!"

"Even giant mega warsuits need power." Batgirl said as she pulled out the blueprints to Lena's suit on her laptop. "If we can jolt the mainframe, we can short it out."

Supergirl looked around until her eyes were fixed on an electric guitar and an amplifier. She went to pick it up. "I got one just like this and it shorts out my house all the time. Just turn it up to ten and shred."

"Nice means," Spider-Woman said, "But we'd still have to plug it to the motherboard, which is directly inside of the warsuit."

"I'll do it!" Bumblebee volunteered.

"Bumblebee, are you sure?" Diana asked.

"It's too scary and I don't wanna do it, but I will.

"Great." Batgirl handed her friend a chord. "Connect this cable to the CPU in Lena's suit, and I'll rig the amp to go past ten. Then, I can plug the other end to the amp and…"

"ZZZZZZ! Bratty McBratterson's going down!" Supergirl finished.

Wonder Woman looked to observe the battle. "Green Lantern, get Batgirl as close to Lena as you can. Supergirl, Zatanna, you're with me in fighting more robots. Spider-Woman, I'm trusting you to distract Lena Luthor."

Underneath her mask, Gwen smiled. "Don't worry. If there's one thing I can do, it's get on villains' nerves."

"Now, let us do this!" Wonder Woman declared before sending everyone out.

While the other hero girls did their own thing, Spider-Woman swung on over and stuck herself right on Lena's warsuit visor.

"Hey, kid, didn't anyone ever tell you to not operate a giant mech-suit without a permit?"

Lena growled trying to grab Spider-Woman, but the web-slinger jumped off landing in front of her.

"How come you're using Lex's toys? You couldn't afford your own with your tooth fairy money?"

Lena growled again throwing a punch down. Spider-Woman flipped backwards letting Lena's robot fist crash through the wooden pier. Spider-Woman then found her chance to shoot exploding web pellets to keep her fist there.

"A little stuck there, kid?"

"I'll show you stuck, lame-o!" Lena yelled trying to punch with her other fist, but the outcome was the exact same as before. Spider-Woman saw Bumblebee slip right through the warsuit's inner workings.

"Ew!" Lena commented trying to remove her webbed up fists. "What's this stuff made of?"

"I'd tell you, but this is high-school level chemistry and I worry it might go over your head." Spider-Woman answered.

"THAT'S IT!" Lena yelled out bursting her fists out of the pier.

That's when Spider-Woman noticed Batgirl gripping the other end of the cable and beginning to hook it up with her amp. She then jumped around to avoid Lena's attacks swinging from one end of her suit to another. Whenever Lena was about to notice what Batgirl was doing, Spider-Woman was able to draw attention back to herself with little web pellets hitting her.

"THAT'S IT!" Lena cried out before activating the rockets on her boots. She flew over the pier looking like she was ready to deliver the final blow.

At that moment, Batgirl had finished hooking up the amp and tossed the electric guitar over to Supergirl. She gave the strings a good strum and the amp shot its unstable electrical circuit right into the suit. A short second later, the warsuit lost all its power and fell from the sky. Right as it hit the ground, all of the demo-bots lost their power and stopped moving.

Once the smoke cleared, most of the girls gathered around the broken-down warsuit. They began to share concerns as they noticed that one of their own was missing.

"Um, Bumblebee got out, right?" Batgirl asked. Her question was answered when Bumblebee reappeared with her whole body damaged and her suit was shorting out.

"Bumblebee!" Spider-Woman gasped going to check on her. "No, no! Not again!" Thankfully, she was relieved when her wounded friend regained herself.

Bumblebee shook her head to refocus and removed her helmet. That's when everyone noticed something new on her: a yellow streak in her brown hair.

"Did we do it?" Bumblebee asked.

"Yeah. We did it." Spider-Woman said. "And it looks like you've got a new look."

"NO FAIR!" Lena yelled out as she burst out of the warsuit. She threw her arms around frantically. "NO FAIR! YOU ALL CHEATED!"

"There she is, Mom!" called out a male voice. Lex Luthor drove up right near the warsuit with his mother beside him. He pointed up to his sister accusingly. "Told you she stole my stuff."

"Lutessa Lena Luthor, you get in this car right now!"

"You can't make me!" Lena whined before her brother and mother dragged her back to the car.

Spider-Woman swung on over to Lex. "So what's going to happen to her?"

Lex shrugged. "Well, she's certainly in for the grounding of her life."

"Well, what about all the buildings she destroyed?"

"Already on it." Lex said. "I'm already in the process of rebuilding everything that the demo-bots destroyed without my permission. I mean, I did promise my mom snickerdoodles." He took a good look at Spider-Woman and rubbed his chin. "Hang on a second. You look familiar. Aren't you that one superhero in New York who…"

"It's not her fault." Batgirl defended. "It was all a misunderstanding."

"Really?" Lex asked. "Well, you did help save Lexcorp's reputation, so I suppose I can do something to help. I mean, you also helped set my little sister straight."

"NO, NO, NO!" Lena whined out from inside the car. "THIS ISN'T WHAT WAS SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN! THIS WASN'T THE PLAN! HE TOLD ME NO ONE COULD STOP ME!"

Everyone immediately dropped their guard noticing the last sentence that Lena said.

"Wait. Did you say 'he' told you?" Green Lantern asked. "Who are you talking about?"

Suddenly, a very familiar tingle shook in Spider-Woman's head. "Oh, come on! Not another Spider-Sense moment!"

"Another?" Bumblebee asked. "But didn't we just defeat the mastermind?"

Suddenly, the pier's floorboards burst open and a long, flexible line of metal shot through. Three more crashed up from underneath the pier and pulled out a certain man who wore black sunglasses and a brown trenchcoat around his four metal tentacles.

"Hello, girls."

"What the. Who's that?" Zatanna asked.

"Wait a minute. I know him." Spider-Woman said. "That's Dr. Otto Octavius, the scientist who works at Lexcorp."

"What sort of madness is this?" Wonder Woman asked

"Otto, what are you doing here?" Lex asked. "And why are you wearing those outside of the company?"

"Just putting the final touches in." Dr. Octavius said.

"Doctor!" Lena cried out. "The plan didn't work! These stupid teens stuck their noses where they didn't belong and the plan didn't work!"

"On the contrary, Miss Luthor," Dr. Octavius said right as he pulled out a handheld remote with a red button on it, "It seems to me that MY plan is working meticulously."

When Dr. Octavius pressed the red button, everyone looked around and saw that all the teenagers in Metropolis were still wearing their VR goggles. Suddenly, their purple lenses changed into an evil glow of red. And all the teenagers stood up straight like soldiers. But what really shook fear into them was the only sentence that they all said at the same time over and over again.

"All hail Dr. Octavius."

Author's Note: Well, I said that this chapter would reveal the evil mastermind. I never said it was Lena Luthor. The next chapter will be the last of the Sweet Justice arc, so you better be ready. Any and all comments are welcome.
