I don't own Overlord or the OC "Galadriel."

Galadriel is an OC created by PaulyThide (fanfiction author whom I admire for his original crossovers)

Looking out from the top of her home, Galadriel was still feeling the light breeze sweeping against her face, the wind blowing through her long white hair. With folded arms, she stared at the forest that stretched out in the distance, as she stood atop Nazarick's tomb. It was foreign, gone was the Great Forest of Tob, which once stood there, much like the event two years ago.

Two years ago, Galadriel had been forced from her old world to enter the world of Yggdrasil. She had left everything to become the Empress of Nazarick. At first, she was surprised, even a little scared. She was scared of the newfound responsibility and power she had. The denizens of Nazarick were depending on her for their continued prosperity. She was scared that she would let them down, they were all she had left of her guildmates after all. Yet, as time went on, she had managed to impose the power of Nazarick in the eyes of all. She had created an Empire. Gone was the shy salary worker she once was, in her place now stood a dignified ruler.

However, she was once again in the all-too-familiar situation that happened two years ago. While she was in the throne room, she had a strange feeling. Galadriel had ordered the guardians to go on the lookout and to her surprise, they had told her that the surroundings were different, teleporting out herself she discovered a large forest that stood where the plains once did.

Having stepped out to see this herself, Galadriel had teleported to the top of the tomb. Gone was the dirt she had ordered Mare to put in order to hide Nazarick, now stood a large building. Imposing but beautiful and elegant. Galadriel didn't have time to focus on such things though. What she wanted to know was where the tomb had landed. Was she still somewhere in the new world? Or had she returned to her homeworld? Or, had Nazarick appeared in another dimensional world? Galadriel had no idea.

In fact, she was pretty sure she wasn't home. Looking up, she stared at the black sky above her. It was dark and many stars could be seen in the sky. However, what caught Galadriel's attention was the full moon. It was red. It was the first time she had seen the moon have this color.

"I'm sure I'm not home, and the New World moon didn't have that color ! Which means we've been teleported to yet another world ! What I would like to know is where, how and why."

After thinking over these questions for some minutes, Galadriel finally sighed.

"I hate not understanding the situation! How will I be able to explain what is going on to others ? "

"My lady…"

Turning around, Galadriel saw a white-haired butler approaching before bowing to her. It was Sebas, one of the strongest fighters in Nazarick, Alongside him was Albedo, overseer of the floor guardians.

"My lady, I'm ready for my report."

"Go on."

"I flew over the south side of the tomb." Albedo began. "Unfortunately, I only saw trees. Nevertheless, it seems to end at six kilometers and is replaced by a large plain. Unfortunately, I did not see the slightest trace of civilization."

"I explored the forest on the north side," Sebas adds. "I had also not found any civilization, my lady. Nevertheless, I came across various animals that I had never seen before. They were rather weak so I had two delivered to Lady Aura, she has more knowledge in this field than me."

"Good job, you two. From what I can see, these signs are the same thing we had two years ago. If we did end up in another world, we must act quickly."

"What are your orders, my lady? "

"Strengthen the security of the tomb," Galadriel ordered. "This world could have level 100's everywhere for all we know. It is best if we make sure it is safe"

"I'll take care of it, my lady." Albedo assured, bowing again.

"Should I continue looking for signs of civilization, my lady? " Sebas asked.

"That is mandatory if we want to know where we are. From tomorrow on, we will form groups and disperse them throughout our surroundings. If you find signs of civilization try to determine their threat levels before leaving. You are not to engage unless absolutely necessary."

"Will we conquer or destroy them, my lady?" Albedo was always rather bloodthirsty.

"We will see that when the time comes. Let everyone know of my orders ! Tell the other floor guardians and Narberal Gamma to prepare for tomorrow! I shall have need of them."

"Yes, my lady."

Galadriel then disappeared and found herself in her room. Looking at her bed, she collapsed onto it, heaving a huge sigh. She didn't want to end up in another world again. She had just finished conquering her old one. She wished to feel the warm bodies of Lupu or Albedo, but they were busy. Sleep wouldn't be coming for a while, and she had a lot to think about after all. Sighing sadly, she whispered something before trying to sleep.

"I want a cheesecake."

Whistling as she walked through the forest, Galadriel enjoyed the fresh air. She could appreciate the clean air, after all, she had lived in 22nd century Japan.

"This is a very nice place." She sighed happily and reached down to pick up a pretty pink flower.

To her side Narberal had jumped down from the tree she was perching on.

"Apologies, my lady, I can only see the forest as far as my eyes can see. We are currently 8 miles away from Nazarick."

"In that case, let us continue to go further west."

Seeing Galadriel starting to walk, Narberal followed her and asked.

"Why not fly, my lady? We will take less time that way."

"Why not take advantage of the situation to take a short walk ? " Asked Galadriel. " This forest is beautiful, you need to take some time off Narberal. Unless, of course, you don't appreciate my presence and want us to end our expedition right away?"

"N... No, not at all, my lady! I…I just thought…"

Simply smiling, Galadriel asserted.

"I am teasing you! You don't have to be that serious Narberal! Relax a little."

Suddenly, Galadriel found a small path that ran through the forest.

"Interesting!" She remarked, looking at the ground. "There are many traces of wheels and hoofs. It seems that there is a town or city nearby. Going by the amount of tracks, it seems to be a relatively busy one.."

"Should we send scouts ahead, my lady?" Narberal asked her.

Before Galadirel could answer her, she heard footsteps. Looking to her left, she was met with a group of merchants following the path.

"Why not ask them for directions?"

"Humans." Narberal growled, disgusted to see these lesser creatures.

"Control yourself Narberal." She was getting flashbacks of what happened the last time she took Narberal with her. "We are in need of information, so do not insult them."

However, as soon as the two women walked towards the cart, they felt vibrations under their feet. Then, a large creature came out of the earth and found itself between the cart and the two women. The horse pulling the cart immediately began to neigh in fear, while the two men, standing on the cart, shouted.

"AHHHHHH! An earth dragon!"

"Oh?" Galadriel wondered, looking at the dragon. "It is a very interesting animal, I wonder if Aura would like it."

"Should I take care of it, my lady?"

"No, immobilize it. Aura would be glad at the chance of getting a new pet, and it could help us learn more of our situation. Make sure to save the humans too, they are vital for information."

"Yes, my lady!"

But before Narberal could act, a young boy came out of the forest, looking at the creature, he grabbed his sword before quietly muttering.

"Save people and make myself known…I'll be able to do both."

Then, a second later, the earth dragon felt its paws cut off, as two huge gashes opened in its abdomen. Roaring in agony, the earth dragon looked for the person who attacked before taking a lethal hit and perishing, the corpse eventually stopped moving and fell towards Galadriel and Narberal.

She felt some regret that it was killed, but she had no time to dwell on it. Pointing her finger to the corpse, she chanted a rather basic spell.

"LIGHTNING ( I ) !"

Galadriel created a lightning bolt that hit the body of the now-dead earth dragon violently. The force of the electricity was so powerful that the corpse instantly turned to ashes and disappeared.

Seeing this, Galadriel looked at her hand, while showing a slight smile.

"At least I have no problem using my magic !"

She had moved so quickly that the other three men weren't able to catch up on what had just happened. None of them understood that Galadriel was the one who had just disintegrated the corpse.

"In… Incredible." one of the carriage passengers disturbed the silence by speaking. "You just killed an earth dragon in seconds! And you even managed to reduce it to ashes!"

"Huh ?...I...of course ! " The newcomer asserted while putting away his sword. "For me, killing such monsters is child's play!"

Despite not understanding how he had managed to pulverize his opponent, the newcomer smiled proudly, before shouting.

"My name is Tatsumi! I am the man who will become the future great warrior of the imperial capital! You will do well to remember me!"

"My lady, may I kill this insect?" Narberal muttered, hearing him speak so arrogantly. "He's claiming your exploits as his own."

"He is arrogant, yes, but for a human, his skill is rather high. We could use him for information." Said Galadriel. "It seems his level is the same as Gazef. Interesting, he is also much younger. Maybe this world has a higher average skill level?"

"Do you think it will be useful to us?"

Simply advancing towards Tatsumi, Galadriel chose to pretend to be a girl in awe of Tatsumi's abilities.

"Wow. You were amazing there Tatsumi-san!"

"What?" Tatsumi wondered, he hadn't noticed the presence of the two beautiful girls behind him.

Channeling all the teachings of Pandora's Actor, Galadriel continued her ruse.

"If you hadn't intervened to save us, I'm sure the monster would have attacked us after destroying this cart! Thank you very much for saving us, Tatsumi-san." She looked over to Narberal before giving her a gaze telling her to follow her lead.

"Yeah... thank you." Narberal growled.

Blushing, Tatsumi rubbed the back of his head, laughing stupidly.

"Hahaha! No need to thank me, come on! As a future hero, it is normal for me to save all those in danger! After all, it is a duty that is close to my heart."

Galadriel thought that this boy reminded her of Touch me. Always getting into trouble to save others.

"Tatsumi-san, are you a soldier in charge of preventing any attacks?"

"No, I'm not a soldier…not yet! But soon, I am going to become the greatest warrior in the capital!"

"The capital?"

"Yes! There, I hope to become a great general, valiantly leading men into battle."

"Maybe he can take us to this capital."

"A moment." interjected one of the other two men. "Are you going to the capital?"

"Yes, I will become famous! Achieving success there is the dream of every man who lives in my village."

At that moment, Galadriel noticed that the two men looked at Tatsumi with fear in his eyes. Finally, one of them confessed.

"The imperial capital is not the place you assume it for. Compared to what they say, living there is not heaven. It is closer to hell."

"What?" Tatsumi wondered. "Why? "

"In the capital, there are monsters too." The other man said, lowering his gaze. "Monsters that look the same as us, but are not human."

"What ? " Tatsumi wondered as a question mark appeared above his head.

For her part, Galadriel had no trouble understanding the metaphor.

"Are you saying that the inhabitants of the capital have a black soul?"

"It's much worse than that! These people are not human. If you want some good advice, go home and forget about the idea of ever going there."

Galadriel had often seen people denigrate poor people, just because they had no money. For them, it was unthinkable that poor peasants could live in a rich city.

However, these two didn't seem to be disgusted with Tatsumi. No, they were really scared for his life. Assumedly, there was something strange going on in the capital. Perhaps she could use this to her advantage.

"Thank you for your advice." Began Tatsumi. "But I can't go back! We promised our village that we would earn a lot of money to support them! They are all counting on us."

"Us?" Galadriel wondered.

"I was traveling with two friends who are also going to the capital, unfortunately, we got separated along the way." Tatsumi explained to her.

Finally, the boy got up to leave.

"Alright, I have a long way to go! See you another time, maybe."

"Hey, kid, wait."

Turning around, Tatsumi saw one of the men throw a small purse full of coins at him. Catching it, the boy looked surprised.

"Thank you for saving our cart." The man said.

"Nevertheless, if you want to stay alive, avoid the capital." Adds the other.

Seizing the reins of his horse, he then looked at Galadriel and Narberal.

"Do you want us to take you somewhere?"

"Are you going to the capital?" Galadriel asked.

"No, we were only stopping there to sell our goods. I would never live in that hell."

"So, the capital is in the opposite direction." Understood Galadriel. "Thank you for the information."

"You are going there? Wait! You must listen to me! The capital is even more dangerous for women like you! If you run into the wrong people, you could get raped, or even worse, sold as slaves!"

"Hum?" Galadriel wondered. "Is it really that bad?"

"It is worse than that. So many people suffer, I would rather die than live there."

Seeing the two men leave, Galadriel finally shrugs before following Tatsumi. The latter had put the coins into a slightly bigger sack and was following the road. Noticing the presence of the two women behind him, he nevertheless continued to walk without looking back. Face red, he tried to take a deep breath to calm himself down. He was not used to being around such beautiful women.

For him, he had made a very good impression saving them. So he didn't want to blunder by stuttering or accidentally talking nonsense. However, before he could say anything, Galadriel started a conversation.

"Tatsumi-san? You seem to be very strong. Are you some kind of adventurer?"

"Adventurer?" The boy wondered. "No one wants to become an adventurer. Everyone wants to become a soldier or be a mercenary."

"You seem to be very comfortable with a sword. Do you use anything else?"

"Not really. I have tried to fight with a bow before, but I am bad at aiming. Most of my shots are off target."

"Do you practice magic?"

"Magic?"

Turning around, Tatsumi stared at Galadriel in confusion.

"Magic doesn't exist."

However, remembering that he was just a villager from a small village, he got excited thinking it did.

"Magic actually exists!? Can you do magic? How do I learn it?"

Seeing his reaction, Galadriel realized that Tatsumi had never seen any magic. So there were two possibilities. Either this world didn't have any spellcasters... or Tatsumi's village was so isolated that the boy had never heard of the fact that magic existed.

"Let's say that one of the inhabitants of my village is an old man who always had fun producing decoctions and the like while claiming that he performed magic."

"Huh?" Tatsumi said simply, disappointed. "It's nothing but lies! It is like the priests who pass through the villages while declaring that they bring with them the divine will! People who claim to wield magic are just crooks."

At that moment, Narberal began to growl, Tatsumi had made her feel as if he was insulting her lady's power. Nonetheless, she calmed down as Galadriel pushed her hand to her head.

"This old man also told me myths of this world." Lies Galadriel. "He told me that there are all kinds of races apart from humans. Like demons and elves."

This time, Tatsumi laughed.

"Hahaha! That old man must be nuts! Even I know it's impossible! Monsters that have human intelligence don't exist."

Seeing the boy continue to walk in front of them, Galadriel began to whisper.

"So, this world is only populated by humans."

"Can we really trust his knowledge? He's just a stupid villager."

"Even the inhabitants of Carne knew the existence of magic and other races." Galadriel asserted.

"If this is the case, dominating this world is going to be very easy, right? Humans can never become a threat to you."

"True, however, we must still be careful. Let us go to this capital to try and retrieve more information."
