Standing in front of the hangar in the garden of Aria's mansion, Galadriel saw a soldier guarding the door. The man seemed surprised when he saw two beautiful women walking towards him.
"Hey, who are you, and what are you doing here at this hour?"
Galadriel quickly turned invisible, before suddenly reappearing in front of the man.
"What…?"
"Be nice and don't bother us." The woman advised him while creating a magic circle in her hand.
"Extended hold person (I)" She quietly whispered.
The man suddenly found himself frozen. Moving her hand in front of his face, Galadriel seemed content to see him paralyzed.
"Perfect!" She asserted.
Surrounded by darkness, a man began to cough up blood. Ieyatsu was in pain. Locked in a cage, he was unable to escape. In addition, his arms were covered with strange red spots that burned him. He knew he was sick. Aria's mother had drugged and infected him. She had pricked him in the neck with a syringe while displaying a sadistic smile. Then she had enjoyed watching him scream in pain while writing notes into what seemed to be her diary.
However, it was nothing compared to Sayo's condition. Using his remaining strength to look up, he saw the young girl hanging from the ceiling. Her body had many marks from lashes, bruises and gashes. Even worse, her right leg had been ripped off. It was Aria who had tortured her like that, just for fun.
"Sayo…! Sayo answer me, are you still there?"
Barely having the strength to breathe, Sayo was silent. In fact, it was obvious that she was going to die before the sun could rise.
"Why?"
Laying his head back down again, Ieyatsu silently began to cry, remembering how they had been brought here.
"Why did this happen to us? What have we done to deserve such a punishment?"
Sobbing, the boy began to pray.
"God! If you exist! Please! I beg you to help us."
Suddenly he heard the door slowly creak open. Looking back up in fear that his torturer had returned, he instead saw two beautiful women slowly enter the hangar.
Galadriel covered her nose with her hand. Inspecting the scene, she saw numerous torture machines, as well as the bodies of the poor people who had the misfortune to trust Aria and the rest of her family. The stench of rot, filth and death dwelled heavily in the air.
There were tons of corpses, blood and pain were engraved on the victims' faces. They had all been savagely tortured. Although Galadriel didn't feel any remorse. If anything, she only regretted that so many lives had been wasted in such a cruel fashion. She then suddenly ended up seeing the body of a ten-year-old girl whose tongue had been torn from her. Noting that she was dead and her eyes still open, the Empress of Nazarick approached the child's corpse and closed her eyelids to pay respect.
Remaining behind her, Narberal remained silent and stoic. Still, she felt a slight shiver as Galadriel asserted with a calm voice.
"I think I've found the first people we immediately need to get rid of! I refuse to let this family integrate into the future kingdom of Nazarick! Now there is no longer any doubt that they wanted to rape and torture us to death."
"Rape Galadriel-sama?" Narberal exclaimed, badly hiding her anger. "Inadmissible! They deserve to be killed just for having the thought to do it."
"Hum? In that case, let's think about a way to make this situation profitable for us."
"What do you mean, my lady?"
"Hey, you!" A weak voice called out from behind them.
Turning around, the two girls looked at Ieyatsu, who stared back at them through the bars of his cell.
"Who... Who are you?"
Just looking at him, Galadriel examined his wounds. Trying to make a plan, Galadriel decides to perform theatrical pose number 3, which was part of a series of poses Pandora's Actor had taught her. As a result, she put on a horrified look.
"Oh, my God! What happened to you, my poor boy?"
"Who are you?" The boy repeated, not knowing whether these two women were two new executioners.
"My name is Galadriel! I… I just got here! Aria-san invited me! What is happening here?"
"Run." Cried the boy. "Go fast! This girl… she's a monster."
"A monster?" Galadriel repeated, pretending to be surprised.
"She manipulated us! She made us come to her place! And finally, she had us locked up here to torture us! Th ais bitch… she's not human! She will also kill you if you don't run away."
"Are you the only survivor here?"
"Uh... I... No! Sayo is also still alive."
"Sayo?" Galadriel wondered, looking at the body hanging from the ceiling.
"Wait, these two are Tatsumi's friends."
Suddenly, Galadriel heard Ieyatsu coughing up blood.
"I will die." He affirmed. "Yeah, for sure! It's too late to save me."
Clenching his fist, he suddenly bowed to the two women.
"Please! Free me!"
"Hum?"
"I will die soon." Announced Ieyatsu. "However, there is no way I could die without avenging Sayo! I'll kill the bitch who tortured her! It has become a personal matter."
Thinking about what Galadriel could gain by helping him, the young woman suddenly heard another voice.
"Free me too, I beg you."
Being in another cell, an injured old man was begging in turn.
"I also want to kill this girl and all her family! Let me avenge my son."
"Me too." Suddenly affirmed the voice of a woman. "I'm going to make them pay for torturing me and treating me like a throwaway toy."
"Let me kill these assholes."
Finally, Galadriel could hear a dozen voices in this room begging her.
"Free us! Free us! Free us!"
Infuriated by their way of speaking, Narberal roared:
"How dare they address themselves in this way to Galadriel-sama?"
Nevertheless, she suddenly saw her lady start to smile. She had a plan in mind that might get interesting. As was the village of Carne, this place could become the beginning of Nazarick's reign over this new world. With a theatrical gesture, Galadriel made a rapid movement of the arm, as a Roman emperor would have done. Without knowing why, all the prisoners fell silent when they saw her do it, allowing her to speak.
"I will do better than just free you." Galadriel announced. "I, Galadriel, will grant you the right to have a future as the first servants of Nazarick from this world."
"What?"
Walking towards Ieyatsu, she tried to display her most compassionate smile, while asserting.
"I am not going to abandon any of you here! I will save you! All. "
"To save us?"
Suddenly a moan was heard. Spitting blood, Sayo's body began to shake. Then, finally, she froze.
"SAYO!" The frightened Ieyatsu was somehow able to break through the spell, mostly because it was cast using a lower-tier spell slot.
Turning to the young girl, Galadriel stared at her. Managing to create fake tears, while looking disgusted, she cried out.
"Oh my God! She is dead."
"No it's impossible! She can't… She can't…! You said you were going to save us all."
"It's the case." Galadriel reaffirmed.
Resuming a confident air, she cried out.
"I will save your friend! I promise you."
"What? But…?"
"Do you know Tatsumi?"
"Tatsumi? What…? Did you meet him?"
Just smiling at him, Galadriel asserted.
"Tomorrow evening, I will come back with Tatsumi and I will save you all! I promise you! On the honor of Nazarick."
"Nazarick? What is Nazarick?"
"It's a kingdom of peace and justice."
Having left the capital, Galadriel was now seated on her throne in Nazarick. To the side, Narberal was kneeling, awaiting the arrival of the guardians. Finally, the two large doors to the room opened.
Entering first, Albedo advanced towards the throne, followed by the other floor guardians. Behind them, Sebas and the Pleiades arrived before placing themselves alongside Narberal. Finally, closing the door behind him, Pandora's Actor was the last to enter.
Then, one by one, all the Guardians and Pleiades crouch down in front of their lady while Pandora leaned against the back wall.
"Guardians... Do all of you have reports ready for me?"
"Perfectly." Assured Albedo. "We will be happy to tell you what we have learned of this world."
"Excellent! Aura! Mare! I am listening to you."
"As requested by our lady, Mare and I headed west! We searched the whole forest in that direction before finding ourselves in a huge plain that stretches for hundreds of kilometers! We were able to capture many new animal and plant species."
"Perfect." Said Galadriel. "It is essential for us to begin to categorize each of the living beings in this world and to know their level of danger or what we can do with them. "
"If... If I may, my Lady... I have the impression that the living beings of this world seem weaker to me than those already located at the sixth level. Some plants are also interesting, but not essential."
"This is indeed probable! But we will come back to this point later, as soon as you have more detailed knowledge of your discoveries! Cocytus, your report."
" Yes! The. Place. You. Sent. Me. To. Investigate. Allowed. Me. To. Meet. A. Group. Of. Mercenaries! I. Am. Unfortunately. Obliged. To. Confess. That. We. Fought. When. We. Met. And. That. I. Ended. Up. Killing. Them! Nevertheless. They. Were. The. Ones. Who. Attacked. Me. First. Taking. Me. For. A. Threat ! "
"It does not matter! You only defended yourself! However, didn't you manage to get at least one piece of information before killing them?"
"Yes. Of. Course! At. The. End. Of. The. Fight. A. Man. Tried. To. Run. Away. And. I. Managed. To. Freeze. His. Legs. Thus. Immobilizing. Him. Before. Killing. The. Rest. Of. His. Companions! He. Told. Me. That. He. Was. A. Mercenary. Sent. By. A. Country. At. War. With. This. Country."
"Hum? Surely one of the three countries which are at war with the Empire." Understood Galadriel. "To make things easier for me, I would have to learn the history of these places, as well as obtain geographic maps."
"This is already done, my lady." Suddenly asserted Demiurge.
"Already?" Galadriel wondered.
"Come on, my lady! The place you sent me to had a town with a big library! That's what you sent me there for, isn't it? Really amazing, my lady! Even in another world your instincts are able to tell you where to send us to maximize our skills. "
"Is it true, my lady? Did you already know what we were going to find without even having to go there?" Shalltear asked her.
"This is surely the truth." Aura asserted. "Mare and I are at our strongest in nature, and that's where Galadriel-sama sent us! And she also sent Demiurge to a town with a library! All of our lady's decisions were already predefined and pondered."
"You are really amazing, my lady." Albedo said with her hands in prayer.
"What? Is this a joke?" Galadriel wondered. "I sent them all at random, all around the tomb! I didn't even know there was a town where Demiurge was supposed to go! And even less a library! I am not a diviner!"
However, remaining perfectly calm and deciding to take advantage of the situation, Galadriel nodded.
"I admit having had a hunch! Happy to see that my decision was correct! Well, in that case, Demiurge, I want you to regroup all the maps and documents that you have been able to recover and bring a record of all the information you find interesting to my office as quickly as possible. "
"It will be done tonight." Demiurge assured.
"Good! Shalltear, I'm listening."
"For my part, my lady, I flew over a large plain for many hours without finding anything interesting! However, after a while I ended up finding a village! Thanks to my good manners, I was able to make a cooperative villager speak and obtained information. "
"Hum? I hope you didn't orchestrate a massacre."
"Of course not, my lady! It's been a long time since you taught me to calm my murderous urges to avoid boredom for Nazarick! All I did was kidnap a man while he was working in his fields! Then, I broke the fingers of his hand until he answered my questions."
"Sigh, don't vampires have a hypnotic gaze or something?"
"So, what have you learned?"
"According to what he told me, the peasants of this country hate the emperor."
"Why?"
"He told me that this country was undergoing a serious economic crisis! And to deal with it, the emperor raised taxes which angered all commoners living in the countryside."
"I could indeed hear about that." Demiurge asserted, while pushing his glasses up his nose. "Very bad choices have been made." From what I could understand, the emperor favored the wealth of the nobles of the capital! In addition, I have also heard some rumors about the Prime Minister of this country."
"Me too." Declared Galadriel. "It seems that he is a great manipulator! But what surprises me the most is knowing that it is a twelve years old child who is the emperor of this country."
There was silence, while most of the guardians thought their lady was joking.
"Excuse me, my lady?" Albedo asked her. "Are you saying the ruler of this land is a child?"
"That's what I could hear."
Chuckling, Aura asserted.
"Unthinkable! The humans of this world are really stupid."
"I admit not understanding the choice to be a child on the throne." Said Mare.
"It's just stupid." Shalltear confessed.
"Think a little." Demiurge suddenly retorted. "It is very easy to understand the reason for this gesture."
Pulling up his glasses, he looked at Galadriel, who had a bad feeling.
''Isn't it, my lady?"
Remaining unmoved, Galadriel couldn't help but curse the demon.
"Why does he always have to act like this?"
Cranking her brain, Galadriel tried to play along, before asking.
"Sebas! Say I am a child and not an adult! Why would I still have the right to sit on this throne?"
Lifting his head, Sebas looked at his lady for a few seconds, before answering her.
"It's simple, my lady! Even as a child, you will be the most powerful, intelligent and respected being in this tomb! And above all, regardless of age, you will remain one of the creators! You are a supreme being."
"Right answer." Said Galadriel. "Do you understand? If this child is an emperor, that means he may have, like me, a special power."
"He would have managed to sit on the throne by force?" Aura asked him.
"Perhaps! In any case, it will be better to gather information on him as soon as possible! Demiurge, send several shadow demons to infiltrate the royal castle and see if you can determine the castle's inhabitants' relative strength. Also have them spy on the Emperor, the Prime Minister and any other person you deem interesting. Oh, just in case, also summon an excessive amount of them so you can be ready to spy on any other targets I later deem necessary."
"This will of course be done."
"Perfect! Albedo! What have you learned from your side?"
"I met a group of soldiers." Albedo told her. "They were looting a village and killing the villagers."
"These soldiers came from another country?"
"No! When I arrived in front of them, they were kind enough to welcome me and tell me that they wanted to have fun with me and my body! I "unfortunately" had the need to kill them! However, I did bring a few back to Neuronist! Thanks to her good work, she was able to report back to me! These men are soldiers of this country."
"Hum? So why did they attack this village?"
"It was an order from the emperor! This village was suspected of having hosted rebels."
"Rebels? You mean people who want to fight against the emperor's policy?"
"Indeed! Recently, the rebels have created an army which is becoming more and more powerful! It now has an estimated number of several tens of thousands of people! Obviously, the emperor wants the disappearance of this army as well as the destruction of the villages allied with the rebels."
"I see. And did you get any other information about the rebel army? Do they intend to attack the capital soon?"
"They are currently incapable of it! A person allied with the emperor prevents them from attacking the capital! A woman named Esdeath."
"Esdeath?"
"The. Spies. Told. Me. About. This. Woman!" Affirmed Cocytus. "They. Said. They. Came. Here. Specifically. To. Gather. As. Much. Information. As. Possible. About. This. Woman!"
"Is this woman in the capital? And why is she so important?"
"Esdeath seems to be the strongest person in this world." Albedo told her. "Currently, she is fighting a war in another country, which should end in several months."
''The most powerful person, eh?"
Showing a confident smile, Galadriel asserted.
"I hope she deserves this title! I wouldn't want to steal it too easily."
"Do I understand that you want to ensure the domination of Nazarick in this world, my lady?" Albedo asked him.
"Of course." Assured Galadriel.
"Either way, you're going to force me to do it at one point or another."
"Euh... I have a question."
While she had remained silent with the rest of the Pleiades, Lupusregina finally raised her hand.
"Yes, what do you want to know?"
"I just want to know... what will become of the old wizarding kingdom? Are we going to give up the idea of returning to our old world?"
"Unfortunately, for the moment we have no other choice. We can only hope that our servants will be able to keep the kingdom stable after the sudden power vacuum our absence created."
Looking at the guardians, Galadriel asserted.
"If anyone had found any information on how to get home, I'm sure you already told me, right?"
"Certainly."
"Good! In that case, until we can get that information, we'll deal with showing this world the power of Nazarick."
Smiling confidently, she declared.
"In history, many people have become the leaders of a territory! Some have become the rulers of an empire! Few have managed to lead several empires! And to my knowledge, no one has ever been able to get the power to rule the whole world! So wouldn't this be the perfect situation for me to be the first person to secure the domination of two different worlds! If we are ever able to return home and understand how this strange teleportation spell works, I could continue to rule these two worlds."
"You are right, my lady." Cried Albedo. "Someone as tall as you deserve to rule much more than just a planet! You have every right to rule the entire universe."
"Though I'd prefer not to." Thought Galadriel, thinking of the enormous workload this could create. "
"In fact, we have a unique opportunity to be able to ensure a perfect grip on this world by not repeating the mistakes we made in the old world." Galadriel added.
Immediately, Shalltear and Cocytus lowered their heads further. Both had made mistakes during the wizarding kingdom's rule and were still ashamed of their failures.
"I don't blame any of you." Galadriel assured immediately. "I would even be delighted to see how much your mistakes have allowed you to improve! This time, our domination over this world will be perfect."
"You can count on us, my lady." Albedo asserted. "Where do you want to start?"
Having pondered this question since entering the capital, Galadriel was glad to have worked her brains for several hours. First, hearing about the low popularity of the Emperor and Prime Minister, Galadriel had hoped that she could create a rebellion to overthrow the government.
However, from what Albedo had told him, it had already been done. The rebel army already existed and was just waiting for Galadriel to take over. However, one should not act too hastily. She did not want this revolt to end with the massacre of thousands of innocent people. She needed them to be present to adore her once she needed their support when she overthrows the Emperor and the Prime Minister.
"It would be perfectly stupid to launch an attack now without knowing anything about the enemy! In the first place, we still have to gather information about this world! So, we are going to concentrate our forces on espionage!" Assured Galadriel. "I want all the information available on the Emperor, the Prime Minister and the Empire's elite forces! I also want to know the forces of the countries with which the empire is at war! If they are forced to ally themselves to be able to fight the Empire, their military forces must be much weaker. Defeating them will be easy and we can even turn them into vassal countries. In addition, I also want information on the leaders and strength of the rebel army."
"For this, I heard the name of a group of murderers operating on behalf of the rebel army." Shalltear informed her. "They are even becoming more and more popular among the peasants."
"Hum? Who is that?"
"This group is called Night Raid."
Having heard the name before, Galadriel rummaged through her memory. Finally, she remembered the poster showing the girl with the demon eyes.
"What do you mean by ''groups of murderers''? Are they slaughtering the villagers who still support the empire?"
"No! They assassinate the nobles of the capital, which tends to annoy the emperor."
"The nobles?"
"If they're like Aria and her parents, I'm definitely not going to pity them."
"Good! It will also certainly be useful to watch them too! Then, we'll take care of Esdeath! If her power is insignificant in the face of me, a quick victory over her will surely allow me to take control of this country without much effort! I'll just have to find a way to make the people love me."
"Unbelievable!" Demiurge asserted. "No sooner have we told our reports than you have already drawn up a plan to control several countries! Your talent in strategy never ceases to amaze me, my lady."
"I have only the broad outlines in mind! The details of this strategy must be worked out carefully."
Thinking further, Galadriel finally ordered.
"Demiurge, I'll wait for your report! Shalltear, I make you responsible for security outside the tomb! I want you to dispose of the vampiric beings around! Aura and Mare, I want you to examine every animal and plant being that you have brought back and that you list for me all those that can be of use to us! Albedo, I want you to go see Rubedo and explain everything that is going on to her! And tell her to be ready! I think I'm going to need her in the next few days."
"Yes, my lady!"
Thinking further, Galadriel turned to Pandora's Actor.
"Pandora's Actor, I will need your help too! I think I would need all day tomorrow to read Demiurges, Auras and Mares reviews! To avoid any suspicion, you will have to replace me tomorrow and accompany Narberal."
"Replace you?"
"Come to my room later, I'll explain."
"Heard, meine Dame!"
"Very well! You can disperse."
Immediately, all Pleiades maids and floor guardians left the room. However, Galadriel cried out.
"Cocytus, can you stay for a moment?"
"Of. Course. My. Lady."
Waiting for the remains of the Guardians to leave the room, Galadriel questioned him.
"Cocytus, I've been thinking about it for a while and I'm asking you now! Do you hate humans?"
Despite not having expressive faces, Galadriel was pretty sure he saw surprise there. Seeming to think, Cocytus finally said.
"I. Find. That. Humans. Are. Weak! Many. Are. Stupid! And. None. Of. Them. Deserve. To. Speak. As. Equals. With. You! However. I. Don't. Hate. Them! If. Each. Of. Them. Could. Understand. Your. Power. And. Had. The. Right. To. Military. Re-education. I. Am. Sure. Many. Could. Become. Brave. Warriors."
"Good! In that case, Cocytus, would you agree to become the mentor of the first inhabitants of my new kingdom?"
A day had passed. Finally, entering a room in Aria's mansion, Narberal let out her anger.
"These humans! I have wanted to kill them all day."
Having accompanied Aria on a day of shopping, Narberal felt humiliated to have to carry bags of clothes while following Aria around like a dog. Truth be told, being able to curse Tatsumi every two minutes had been her only way of entertaining herself and stifling her anger.
Beside her, Galadriel stood still. Finally able to move as he wanted, Pandora's Actor began to move his arms theatrically, while asserting.
"Narberal-chan, I must say that I am veryyyyyyyyy impressed by your ability to stay calm! Despite your violent desire to kill the humans we have encountered today, it is undeniable to say that you have been able to control your murderous impulses! No doubt laaaaaaady Galadriel would be proud of you."
Hearing him speak thus and gesticulate all over the place, Narberal said in disgust.
"If you weren't the creation of Galadriel-sama, I would have killed you long ago."
"Oh! It breaks myyyy heart."
Then, resuming a serious air, he finally returned to his original form.
"Despite her broad smile, it was easy for me to see that this Aria was forcing herself to be nice to us! In fact, it even seemed like she was staring at me with hatred! I think she is jealous of our lady's beauty."
"She deserves to die in the worst possible way."
"I agree with you! All the people who dare to attack laaaaaady Galadriel deserve to perish at our hands! Truth be told, I also found the guards quite strange, they looked at us with pity! They are therefore perfectly aware of what Aria wants to do with us! The only one who seemed to be honest with us was Tatsumi."
"It's an insect."
"If I may, Narberal… I find Tatsumi an interesting person! To be honest, if our lady had to find a man to marry, I would like her to choose someone like Tatsumi."
Immediately, Narberal's hands were covered in lightning, while her face was contorted with anger.
"Excuse me? Are you telling me that you want Galadriel-sama to marry a wretched human?"
"Nein nein nein! You misunderstood me! What I meant was that Galadriel deserves to be married to some powerful demon or whatever, who has the same personality as Tatsumi."
"Personality? He's stupid and pretentious."
"You find? On the contrary, I find him both honest and courageous! He is a loyal person who, if trained properly, would never betray our lady! With someone like him, Galadriel-sama would never be alone."
"He is as Touch-Me sama!"
At that moment, Galadriel teleported to the bedroom. Sighing, the poor girl looked exhausted as she had spent her entire day reading the reports the Nazarick Guardians had given her. She wanted to sleep and eat candy. Still, she knew she had to act tonight, to start a huge game of chess. It was here, in this mansion, that she will begin her plan to conquer the world.
"Meine Dame!" Cried Pandora's Actor, bowing, just like Narberal but in a much more exaggerated way. "Was your day pleasant?"
"Say I had more entertaining days." Said Galadriel. "But hey, thanks to Demiurge's work, I can finally get an idea of the historical chronology of this country as well as its geography! All this will of course be very useful for us later."
"You are absolutely right, myyyyyyyy lady! And what are we going to do now?"
"Huuuuummm… how about we pay Aria and her family a little night visit to thank them for making us so welcome?"
Nodding, the two NPCs nodded. Truth be told, Galadriel even thought he could see a smile forming on Narberal's face. Getting ready to leave the room, Galadriel suddenly stopped.
"A problem, my lady?" Narberal asked him.
"The mansion is being attacked."
Indeed, the NPCs were able to quickly capture the energy of various people who began to surround the mansion.
"Is that Albedo-san and the others?"
"No, I didn't order anything at all." Galadriel asserted, looking out the window.
At that moment, she saw five people, balancing above the ground. She saw a girl with pink hair, a person wearing big armor, a man with green hair, a female lioness and finally a girl with black hair who had a saber at the level of her waist.
Recognizing the latter, Galadriel cried out.
"Night Raid."
"The group of assassins that work for the rebel army?" Pandora's Actor wondered when he remembered hearing a conversation between a soldier and Tatsumi. "What are they doing here?"
"The same as us, I imagine." Said Galadriel. "Kill the nobles of this mansion."
"What are we going to do with them?" Narberal asked.
Remaining silent, Galadriel tried to devise a new plan. She had not taken the appearance of this group of assassins into account. Nonetheless, she doubted they were strong enough to stop her from destroying the place, she also noted that if things turned out in her favor, she might be able to lay hands on the best warriors in the rebel army.
Finally, she saw the group of killers drop before landing in front of the soldiers who were outside. In an instant, the poor men were slaughtered while Nigh Raid had no trouble defeating them without getting the slightest injury.
"They are rather strong... for humans." Actor Pandora remarked. "Maybe they could help us."
"It's true that it would be great fun to control them." Said Galadriel. "Okay, here's what we're going to do..."
