For his part, Aura ran by his own opponent. Screaming in fear, the man made a sloppy move with his sword, which Aura dodged by leaping over him. However, noticing that she was much slower than earlier, the man raised his arm and managed to grab Aura's leg.

Then, with a powerful gesture, he threw her against the ground, making her bang hard on the back.

" AHHHHHHH ! " Aura yelled.

" DIE ! " The man yelled, pulling his sword down at her.

Hurrying to pat the ground, Aura eventually grabbed the sword of a corpse near her and used it to parry the mercenary's weapon. Then she kicked the man in the shin to push him back. Moaning in pain, the mercenary found himself forced to take a step back, allowing Aura to stand up.

Returning to the charge, however, the man attacked again and again. Compared to earlier, he found Aura much less formidable. She seemed to have worn herself out slaughtering the rest of her companions. It was perfect for him. He had to take this opportunity to kill his opponent.

Standing still, Snixix made no move to avoid the attacks. Taking each of the attacks, he didn't flinch for a moment, as the ice projectiles smashed against the insect's solid exoskeleton. Finally, he used his right "arm" to slice the last spear in half.

Not having the slightest scratch, he proved to Esdeath that he was well above the level of the demons she had just killed. And that amused, delighted her. She had no idea what Snixix really was. But she didn't care. She finally had an honorable adversary to fight.
