A/N: Thx for the love, keep it coming!
Eli lay breathless beside Sammi who was already trying to roll on her knees.
"Sam, Sam, Sam," he laughed softly. "I need a minute."
Pouting playfully, she rolled back and curled up against him, adjusting the covers. "You never get worn out," she commented and he looked down at her with a laugh.
"Sam we have never had this much sex at one time," he exclaimed and she giggled. "Fair."
"C'mere," he said, sinking down further into the bed and wrapping one arm around her shoulders with the other moving instinctively to her belly.
"I want you to pick a name for him, E… it's important."
"I'm trying," he promised and she looked up at him. "What are you afraid of?"
He was about to answer when his phone rang. Picking it up, he furrowed his brow and answered it.
"Hey Uncle Fin what's up? Mom okay?"
"Mom's fine, but dad may be dead by the end of the night. They're locked in the cribs. Lock broke off and another several hours before a smith can get out here."
Eli burst into laughter, putting him on speaker. "Jeez… they are dumb."
"They are indeed. Your momma is pissed, but wants to know if you can watch the kids tonight? I guess Lucy has an appointment."
"Yeah, yeah of course. I have soccer but Noah and Em can just walk to the gym and Lucy can drop Teddy off there, then I'll take them home."
He relayed the message to Liv who was heard back through the door.
"She wants to know if you're sure."
"Yes of course. Tell them not to worry and that I've got it."
Repeating what he said again, Fin laughed at her response.
"She said thank you and she loves you, and wants to know if you wanna say bye to your dad before she strangles him."
He and Sam both burst into laughter. "Nah I'm good, tell him that."
"He's good!" Fin called, and El's grumbling could be heard.
"I'll text you updates once I have them," Eli nodded and Fin laughed. "Thanks man, call if you need anything."
"Bye Uncle Fin."
"Well… guess a trial run today," Eli laughed, looking at Sam who nodded and ran her hand down his chest.
"We still have a few hours before practice," she whispered and he inhaled a sharp breath when her hand brushed through his happy trail.
"Yes we do," he said, closing his lips on hers.
The Captain and Sergeant were on hour 3 of being locked in a room together.
Liv was pacing and frustrated, both in general and sexually, and El was trying his best to not add to it.
"I'm sorry?" He tried again.
Her paces stopped short and she turned back to glare at him. "You're an idiot."
"I know, I know. But I'm your idiot," he said, standing and walking towards her.
"Babe it's not funny. And I don't even have a pump in here and my boobs hurt," she said with an angry groan.
He gave her a hungry look and continued taking small steps until her back was against a locker and his leg was between hers.
She whimpered in spite of herself and sucked in a large breath, shaking her head. "You'll be lucky if we ever have sex again," she said, defiantly.
Ignoring her, he pressed his knee upwards into her core and she whimpered again.
"Should have never let you talk me into this. 'A quickie' my ass, now I don't even have my phone to get work done," she grumbled, tilting her head so he could kiss her neck.
Starting at the base, he alternated soft licks and sucks up until his tongue was flicking her earlobe and his teeth were biting down.
She was still complaining when he stopped his movements and growled a command into her ear.
"Quit bitching and enjoy this moment with me. No kids. No phones. No responsibilities. Another few hours waiting for the locksmith. A good excuse that we had to come talk about our son… everything's fine, McGrath and Bell laughed. Loosen up."
Her head shot towards him, bewildered a little and caught off guard. He cocked his head and pressed a sloppy kiss to her lips. "We're in our mid 50s with 4 kids at home and stress and grand babies. Enjoy this with me. Please baby?"
She thought a moment and then nodded slowly, trying to maintain her resolve as she looked up at him. "I reserve the right to be angry later."
"Fine," he kissed her again. "But right now I'm gonna rock your world in the shower and help you feel a little better. Okay?"
Nodding, she bit her lip to hide her smirk as she not so begrudgingly followed him.
Eli had just finished warmups when Lucy walked in with Teddy.
"He's a grouch today… those teeth are big time coming in," she frowned, handing him off when Teddy threw his whole body at his brother.
Frowning, he took him and snuggled him close. "I'm so sorry buddy," he whispered, kissing his head.
"You're sure you got him?" She asked and Eli nodded. "Definitely, I'll call if I have a question," he laughed and she smiled. "Well he can have more Tylenol at 7 before his bottle okay?"
"7, got it," he nodded. "Carrots this week right?"
She nodded. "You can mix a little rice cereal in too."
"Got it. Alright buddy, say bye Luce," he smiled waving his little hand for him.
"Call if you need anything," she smiled and nodded, leaving.
Tom sprinted over and gently rubbed Teddy's back. "Hi buddy," he grinned.
Teddy's little lip jutted out and he laid his head against his brothers shoulder.
"He's teething," Eli frowned.
"Noooo buddy," Tom said with a pout.
"I know," he agreed, waving to Noah and Emma when they came walking in the indoor field.
"Gimme," Noah said, holding his arms out to his brothers and making Tom laugh.
Eli tried to pass him off, but Teddy gripped his shirt and his lip started quivering even more as tears sprung to his eyes.
Noah frowned. "Teddy bear…"
"Lemme try," Emma said, pulling him gently from Eli's arms.
The baby started crying immediately, reaching back for Eli.
All three kids frowned, and Eli took him back, shushing and rocking him gently. "I gotcha buddy… I'm here…"
"Stabler if you need to go it's okay," he coach called, but Eli shook his head.
"Just fundamentals today. Let me get him in his carrier," he nodded to Noah who pulled it from his stroller.
Tom and his other buddies laughed as Eli put on the wrap carrier and got Teddy settled in it.
"No passing, I don't need to explain to my mom why my 6 month old brother has a knot on his head," he teased and they all cracked up.
Looking back to Noah and Emma he nodded. "Start your homework okay? We're gonna do pizza tonight and I wanna have some movie time," he smiled at them.
They both nodded and grinned, heading off to start their homework.
Eli got to work on light fundamentals as Teddy stayed snuggled into him, chewing on his shirt.
Tom snapped a quick photo and sent it to Sam.
T: He's gonna be fine. :)
S: Omg… that's awesome. Thank you for this!
The best friends stood beside one another, practicing ball control and balance.
"How was Sam today?" He asked, wavering a little as he balanced a ball between his foot and shin.
"I'm carrying 18 extra pounds on on chest and have better control than you," Eli quipped. "She was great. Babies are good," he nodded.
"You pick a name for your son yet?"
"She put you up to that question?"
"Dickie," he nodded and Eli chuckled. "I'm working on it."
"What are you afraid of dude?"
"Going to college and being away from him and him hating me."
"Dramatic," Tom rolled his eyes.
"No it's not you ass," he chuckled.
"Definitely is. He's your baby boy, man."
"I know, I know."
"How's she feeling?"
"Sore and horny as hell," he whispered the last part.
"Still?"
"Oh yeah… dude I can't even explain how insane this morning was."
"Damn bro," Tom chuckled, and the boys switched feet when coach gave the command.
"Yeah… you hear Ben is taking Harley to their winter formal?"
"Yeah I wasn't hoping you hadn't. You jealous?"
"I mean a little but," he shrugged, "but I'm enjoying being there for Sam and the twins."
"You're getting laid like it's your profession, I would be enjoying that too," he laughed and Eli pushed his poorly balanced friend over, making him crack up.
Back at the precinct, the pair has spent some time fooling around and were now sat on the ground beside her locker, looking through old things she'd saved and others she's long forgotten about.
"Woman why is there a photo of Ed and my kids?" He asked, pulling out one he'd found and making her wince.
"Save that for them though," she said and he mimicked her request in a whiney mocking tone, dropping it to the save pile.
Pulling out a picture of her and Trevor from Noah's adoption, she shook her head. "I need to clean this out more often," she muttered, pulling out a sonogram and laughing. "Here's Emma at 30 weeks."
"I want this for my desk," he said, snatching it from her and causing her to laugh harder.
"You have pictures where she doesn't look like a blob."
"She was a cute blob, and I want it."
Liv leaned across their shared space and pecked his lips.
"You're the best daddy."
He gave her a sweet smile and she kissed him again. "I'm serious."
"I know… sometimes with Eli I don't feel like it."
"He's gonna be fine, cause he's gonna take after you."
"That's what I'm worried about," he laughed a little, shaking his head.
Gently brushing her pile of pictures and papers aside, she moved to climb into his lap, straddling him and wrapping her arms around his neck.
"He's gonna mess up like we all did and still do. But his babies will love him regardless, just like ours love you."
His hands fell to the gently swell of her ass and she bent her knees to come flush with his already growing bulge.
"There's no one I'd rather do life or raise too many kids with."
"Not even Ed Tucker or Trevor Langan," he asked with tinge of jealousy in his voice that made her laugh.
"I thought me marrying and getting pregnant with you at 53 was proof of my love."
"It is, I just like to make sure," he cheesed, taking a deep breath when she pulled him from his sweats he'd changed into.
"Are these mine?!" He cried when he pulled them from the back of her locker 30 minutes earlier. "From like... 15 years ago?!"
"Yes and I've been looking for them so you will not take them!"
"I'm putting them on now," he said, holding them out of her reach as they laughed together.
She'd changed into stretchy bike shorts and a tank after her shower, accentuating her curve perfectly, when she felt that the room had become much too stuffy for her liking.
Lifting her knees, she allowed him to pull the spandex fabric down her legs just enough to slide down into him, her pussy still slick and wet from his cum from earlier.
"Whatcha think the kids are doing," he asked with a gasp as he bounced her slowly.
"Convincing Eli to do everything they want."
She laughed and her breathing picked up when he rubbed her clit softly.
"Be in the moment with me, Stabler," she said, mimicking him from earlier as he kissed the column of her neck.
"Yes, Captain," he whispered nodded.
"I gotta put you down to feed you buddy," Eli tried to reason with Teddy as he fought again sitting in his high chair.
"Eli pizza is here," Noah called.
"Eli I need help on my homework," Emma reminded him.
"Okay!" Eli said in a loud but gentle tone, like his dad, that startled the three of them a bit.
"Sorry," he breathed. "Emma, get the pizza. Noah, get me some carrots for the little man."
He turned back to gently hold Teddy's little face.
"I know you're hurting by you gotta sit here so we can feed you and then give you medicine okay? I know you're grumpy and sad but I'm here baby boy, I'm here," he cooed, and Teddy's lip quivered as he leaned into his hand with tired eyes.
"Look, Emma has pizza and Noah got your dinner," he said, expertly taking the jar and spoon from Noah and thanking him.
Emma gathered plates and served the boys and then herself, and Noah got them all drinks after putting Ted's bib on.
Once they were all eating and quiet, Eli turned back to the kids. "I'm sorry guys I didn't mean to yell," he sighed and they both shook their heads.
"We were being annoying," Emma said.
"Yeah sorry I was hangry," Noah added and Eli laughed a little.
"After dinner, showers and I'm gonna give Teddy a bath and then who's turn to pick a movie?" He asked and Noah grinned. "Mine."
"Okay, after your shower, pick your movie and hopefully Teddy will be chill enough that he'll sit with you, and then Em I'll help you with your homework."
"Thank you," she smiled and Noah nodded.
The crew finished and went to shower, and Eli took Ted into his parents large bathtub and setting him in his seat.
He let him splash around a little bit and smiled small, watching him. "I'm gonna have a you in a few months," he whispered, rubbing his cheek softly. "That's insane."
Teddy grabbed his hand and started playing with it, smiling up at him.
"What should I name him huh? EJ? EJ and Teddy, best of buds?" He said with a small smile that made Teddy grin.
"You like that? Maybe I will call him EJ," he said, wiping his face with the soft wash cloth and nodding.
"Let's get you washed up and in some warm Jammies cause it's chilly in there," he smiled small, finishing his bath and bring him into his room, all wrapped in his towel with a hood.
He got him all dried and lotioned, wiping his hands before getting him in a onesie and his sleep sack and putting orajel on his gums.
Looking at the clock in his room, he nodded. "Let's get you a paci and you can hang with Noah?" He asked rhetorically, picking him up and hugging him tight to his chest.
"By the time I shower and help Emma it'll be time for a bottle and some Tylenol for those teethers. Sorry you're not feeling good," he frowned, kissing his cheek.
Noah was patiently waiting on the couch, and Eli passed him over with his fingers crossed, satisfied when he curled into him
"I'll be back in a second," he said, kissing their heads and rushing off to shower.
Good on his promise, he returned to check on them in just 10 minutes and took a seat next to Emma, helping her with the algebra she was struggling to figure out.
Teddy started to whine on cue at 7pm, and Noah got up and passed him to Eli before taking charge and warming his bottle.
"Okay baby brother," he whispered, leaving the table with him to get his Motrin.
He fussed a bit when he took it, shaking his head but swallowing it down. Dropping the small syringe in the sink, he thanked Noah and took the bottle and the four settled on the couch for a movie.
Noah had just hit play when Emma looked up to him and smiled small. "You're gonna be a really good dad, Eli… don't doubt yourself anymore."
"And EJ is really cute," Noah added.
He blinked quickly and leaned over, kissing their heads and whispering a 'thanks'.
El and Liv came in around 9, surprised to find a quiet house.
They crept in, checking on Noah and Emma who were sound asleep, and stoping before Teddy's room to listen to their oldest son's quiet voice.
"Yeah… he finally fell asleep… total grouch man," he laughed softly and paused. "Yeah I think just teething… definitely not looking forward to that."
There was a pause for laughter again and Liv leaned into Elliot, listening intently.
"That's good… I'm glad they're behaving…. Yeah I uh… I actually did. It hit me tonight. Mhm. Elliot Joseph Stabler III… EJ."
Liv's hand flew to her heart and she let out a sharp exhale as tears rushed to El's eyes.
"I don't know I was… I was giving Ted a bath and talking to him and just like… I have a connection to Joey already and maybe it's cause I'm so close with Emma but… yeah I was just thinking like 'how could I ever love someone more than Noah or Ted' and it just hit me. I saw his face so clearly and like… heard myself chasing him around on the soccer field and calling him EJ… so…" he trailed off and laughed softly. "Samaroo," he paused and smiled when she laughed through her tears at a nickname he hadn't used in a long, long time, "don't cry…"
Outside the door, El and Liv were both allowing treats to fall silently as they continued to listen.
"Sam I.. I can't tell you how much I needed today. Like all of it. First I'm so thankful you're giving me this chance and… second I'm just so glad that it's you I get to do this with. I don't know what's gonna happen with us but uh… I love you, and I always will… you're giving me them and," his voice cracked, "I can never repay you. Alright…" he laughed softly. "I know I'm sorry… don't cry okay? I'll come see you tomorrow after school. Get some rest. I love you and those two… tell them daddy loves them. Alright… bye."
They heard him hang up and stand slowly with Teddy. Creeping around the corner, they watched him kiss his head a few times and gently lay him in his crib.
"Night buddy… I love you… thank you for today, little brother. You're a miracle way more than you know," he whispered.
He stood back up and breathed out a long breath. "Elliot Stabler the third," he said softly to himself.
"Just what the world needs," came Liv's voice from the door, making him turn. "Another Elliot Stabler," she winked and El wrapped an arm around her shoulder, wiping his eyes with his free hand.
"I don't know mama… 2nd edition turned out damn good and is making me one proud father right now."
Eli blinked quickly and didn't hesitate, wrapping his arms around them both.
"Thanks for sticking by me," he whispered and Liv kissed his head. "We're your mom and dad… we'll always be here."
"We're proud of you, son," El nodded. "Thank you for watching the kids on top of everything."
"They were so awesome," he smiled. "Thanks for them," he nodded, hugging his mom again.
She squeezed him and kissed his cheek a few times. "Get some sleep… school tomorrow and long weekend ahead of you"
"Yes momma," he smiled. "Love you," he kissed her cheek. "Love you pops," he said, hugging him.
They watched him disappear to his room before retreating to theirs and laying back in their bed in an exhausted heap.
"We're doing a good job," El said and she smiled, reaching for his arm and rolling into him. "We did."
The pair dozed off quickly, still fully dressed, only to be startled awake by Teddy's cries.
"Oh no," El sighed and Liv nodded. "Another tooth, daddy."
"Another tooth," he mused, standing to rush off to their baby's room.
"Sleep is for the weak," she called playfully after him, and he laughed softly, bumping into a white as a ghost Noah in the hall.
"Daddy I don't feel so good..." he trailed off, hunching over and puking on the floor.
