Search Battle in the Ancient Underground Crypt
"Damn it, just what we need right now." Lucy muttered as she sees two members of the Legion Platoon here, and hides behind Michelle because of Dan.
"How did you guys even find out about this place?" Natsu asked.
"Even though Samuel couldn't read that book because of you flat-chested cutie, he was still able to figure out where those clock pieces are which one of them is right here." Dan explained.
"Hey! Who are you calling flat!" Nymph snapped.
"It looks to like you sorry losers haven't been able to find it yet, either." Coco mocked.
"Give us a break, we just arrived here." Romeo stated.
Dan over at the group as he could have sworn, he saw something hiding behind the girl wearing the pink dress, and gasp upon realizing that it's the girl of his dream Lucy.
"Is that my Lu-Lu pumpkin over there!" Dan gasped.
"Don't you ever call me that again!" Lucy shouted.
"I guess she is a little pumpkin-like." Happy said.
"Not helping, Happy." Natsu said serious.
"This is quite a bit more embarrassing than the names from last time." Michelle giggled.
"Our paths were meant to cross again. Unavoidable destiny! I can practical feel the string of fate pulling us together!" Dan said happily moving next to Lucy.
"How about you take that stupid thread and wrap it around your neck instead!" Lucy annoyed of this guy.
"L. O. V." However, before Dan could finish spelling "LOVE" Natsu jumps into and punch the knight guy right in the face sending him flying a few feet.
"Thank you, that guy was really getting annoying." Nymph smiled.
"Sorry, you left yourself so wide open that I had to attack." Natsu smirked.
"How dare you get in the way between me and my Lu-Lu's love!" Dan angered.
"I am sorry, but Master Natsu has already claimed Lady Lucy as his lover." Ikaros informed bluntly out loud.
"WHAAAAT?!" Dan screamed.
"Ikaros! Why did you say it like that?" Natsu asked embarrasses as Lucy's face is turning red.
"It's what Happy told me." Ikaros pointed at the blue cat who is holding in his laughter.
"Fine then, we'll fight to see how claim Lucy as her lover!" Dan charged at Natsu.
"Bring it on!" Natsu accepted the challenge, pounding his flaming fists at the shield which reflected the attacks away and the fire crashes into the old buildings causing some parts of the ruin to fall.
"AAAAHH?! MY butt is on fire!" Lucy yelled in pain with a fire burning her pants.
Nymph told Ikaros how to put out the fire and she quickly smash some parts of the ground to create dirty and sat Lucy on the pile of dirty to put the fire out.
"Thank you, Ikaros. You're a life saver." Lucy thanked sighing happily.
"You're welcome, but I believe we should move away from here." Ikaros pointed up as the debris of the ruin is about to fall on them.
"We got to get out of here!" Romeo shouted as everyone starts running.
"I think we lost from that, now we can go find the clock pieces." Michelle pointed out.
"Just as I planned!" Natsu said trying to sound smart for Lucy.
"You're such a liar!" Happy exposed.
"I do not think Lady Lucy would go out with a liar." Ikaros said.
"Can we please just focus on finding the clock piece here?" Lucy reminded them of the goal.
But suddenly Dan came out from a corner of an old building right in front of Lucy saying something about watering a garden of love which is crazy to Lucy.
"Hold on, first you and I need to find that clock piece. Haven you already forgotten that we were sent here on an important mission?" Coco asked hoping Dan isn't stupid enough to abandon the mission.
"Did I forget my mission, no way. I remembered my sweet love!" Dan said as the opposite of forgetting the mission.
"That's kinda my point." Coco sighed.
"How exactly did this guy got in your group?" Nymph asked.
"I've been asking myself that for a long time." Coco said.
"You're not having Lucy or that clock piece!" Natsu unleashed his fire breath attack, but it bounces off Dan's shield and accidently set Lucy's butt on fire again.
"I am not going let my sweet love be taken away by a hotshot like you. I'm going to slice you like a tuna and serve you raw!" Dan threatened.
"Sounds like a good way to go for me." Happy said while holding a tuna dish he got from his backpack.
"Hope you're ready for another taste of my magic spear!" Dan prepared himself to charge.
"Master, that spear can change any sizes of anything it touches like how it made you small." Ikaros warned.
"I know, I'm not going to let that touch me again." Natsu glared at Dan.
"Now that I think about it, you already have that angel girl and now you're going for a second girlfriend! You're such a lover creep!" Dan stated as he rapid thrust his spear at Natsu and Ikaros.
"Hey, it's nothing like that." Natsu protested as he dodges them.
Natsu tries to think of a way to counterattack, but when he dodge the spear again its pointy tip is going straight for Lucy as Ikaros saw and try to save her though she also got hit and the two are shrunk tiny like how Natsu was.
"What? Oh no, no, no, no! This can't be happening!" Lucy panicked.
"Lady Lucy, is appears we have been shrunken into the sizes of little mouses." Ikaros pointed out the obvious.
"I CAN SEE THAT!" Lucy shouted at her.
"Oh crap, I'm so sorry my love! I never meant for this to happen, I gone and shrunk you small! Now you'll never want me as your boyfriend!" Dan cried while holding Lucy up.
"You got that right, now change us back!" Lucy demanded.
"Right away." Dan said as he is about to tap Lucy and Ikaros, but he stops getting a good look at Lucy.
"You know what, I actually like this version of you." Dan smiled shocking Lucy.
"I thought you were a major hottie before, but now you're the cutest thing in the whole world! 10,000 cuter than Coco and that blue cat combine!" Dan proclaimed.
"Hey, don't put me in the same boat as this cat!" Coco yelled angry.
"Although, I have to admit Lucy does look like a little cute action figure." Happy admitted.
"I'm gonna keep you like this for a little while and I have a special place at home where I can see you all the time!" Dan smiled lovey-dovey.
"I'm sorry, but I afraid that will be not happen." Ikaros flied up to Lucy and carry her away from Dan's hand.
"No, my mini-beloved!" Dan gasped.
"Oh no, you don't! You're not getting your hand on Lucy!" Natsu stand in front of Dan.
"I am so getting sick of you, man! Take this!" Dan rapid thrust his spear at Natsu again as he dodges them.
"Cut it out, Dan, you can fight him later. We need to find the clock piece first!" Coco reminded him of the mission again.
"Can't you see that I'm busy right now? Go on, I'm sure you can find it!" Dan said.
"I can't because Samuel gave you the details of how to find it. I don't even know where to start looking!" Coco explained.
"Ikaros, we need to be big again, so try getting us to that spear." Lucy ordered a little.
"Right away." Ikaros nodded.
Ikaros flies straight the crossfire of Dan thrusting his magic spear and Natsu quick reflexes to dodge it from shrinking again, it was hard for Ikaros to try getting touch by the spear while Dan is moving his attack so fast. But despite being small, Ikaros's speed is still great to be able to catch up the movements of the spear and waited for the right moment to get touch by it.
"Lucy, Ikaros, look out!" Happy fly to help the girls.
Dan keeps on trying to hit Natsu as he thought of making one of his sandals bigger to crush him with, unknowingly notice Ikaros and Lucy flying toward the spear and got hit the by tip, both girls' glow and have grown back to their normal size.
"We have return to normal." Ikaros said.
"Alright, nothing can stop us now!" Lucy believed.
Romeo and Michelle scream in shock, confuse Lucy look to where they are staring at and she becomes frighten at the sight of Happy being a giant from being touch by spear as well.
"Uh-oh, my hand must've slip a bit." Dan said.
"You think!" Nymph yelled.
"Wow! Happy is a giant!" Natsu shocked.
"You suck at this, you know." Happy mocked.
"Yeah, you should learn to use that thing more properly than swinging it like a moron!" Natsu scolded.
"I'm way too big, you guys! I can't get out!" Happy freaked out as he moves around crushing a part of a building and accidently step on Natsu again.
"Oh god, I'm so sorry, Natsu! I swear, I didn't mean to step on you again!" Happy apologized.
"I feel like you're doing this on purpose." Natsu groaned.
Soon, Happy got his foot off Natsu and started flying around the ancient ruins hoping to get some elbow room but there aren't enough room for him to fly around as he panics as well.
"Happy, stop flying around!" Natsu called out.
"But if I get back on the ground, I'm afraid I'm gonna squish you or somebody else." Happy stated while accidently breaking down some of the ruins.
"I know these are old ruins, but they're part of Fiore's history! We can't afford to ruin them any further!" Coco pointed out.
"I'm more worry about these rocks crushing my skull." Romeo said while covering his head.
Dan acted quickly and poke Happy with his spear returning him to normal size.
"Now everyone is back to normal size." Michelle smiled.
"Yes, now let's go find that missing clock piece." Lucy determined.
"I hated being a monster." Happy sobbed on Natsu's arm.
"But how are we going to find it if we don't even know where to start looking?" Romeo asked.
"Don't worry, I brought the book with me to help us find more clues." Lucy said as she pulls out the book from the back.
"Way to be prepare, I always knew you were smarter than the rest." Nymph complimented making Lucy smile.
However, Coco and Dan are standing on top of a small building seeing Lucy with the book.
"If we can get our hands on that book, we'll find the clock piece in no time." Coco said and she runs to Lucy.
"I don't think so." Ikaros blitzed in front of Coco, grab her arm and threw her in one direction.
"Bye, bye, puppy girl." Ikaros waved goodbye to Coco.
"You guys make a run for it, I'm gonna deal with Sir Knight Idiot over here." Natsu stand strongly glaring at Dan.
"Okay, once you're finish with him. Come and find us." Lucy said as she and the others start running.
"Got it." Natsu nodded.
"You're definitely going to pay for getting in the way of the Legion Platoon." Dan declared.
"Bring it on, I've been wanting to settle the score with you for a long time." Natsu determined to beat this.
Lucy and the others are running forward while she reads the children book to find any more clues about finding the clock piece in this place.
"Have you found anything yet?" Michelle asked.
"No, nothing yet…" Lucy answered then suddenly fell down a square shape hole, but Ikaros was able to catch her in time.
"Oh, thanks, Ikaros." Lucy sighed in relief.
"You are welcome." Ikaros said.
"Where did this weird hole come from?" Romeo wondered.
"Perhaps we can ask her." Ikaros pointed at Coco who is hanging on a rock trying to get herself back up as she has run out of magic power.
"Hey, help a girl out here, please!" Coco begged.
"Yeah right, like we're going to help out someone who's been trying to kill us." Happy laughed a little.
However, Lucy didn't feel right about leaving the poor girl hanging down there by herself other than her looking like the Coco she knew in that other world, deep down she doesn't leave others like this.
"Ikaros, go help her." Lucy ordered shocking the others.
"What! Are you crazy, Lucy!" Romeo asked.
"Yeah, I think all the rocks that fell on your head must have given you brain damage." Happy agreed.
"I know she's our enemy, but I don't want to leave a bad taste in my mouth knowing that I left a helpless girl hanging on to dear life. And besides, neither sides are the bad guys here, so who's to say we can't help each out a little." Lucy pointed out.
"I guess you do make a good point." Michelle agreed.
"We really get leave her like this." Romeo sighed knowing Lucy is right.
"But we are going to beat up her if she tries anything, right?" Nymph asked, being a little caution.
"Very well, as you command." Ikaros spread her wings and float down to Coco.
"Hey, what the heck are you doing?" Coco asked shock.
"Please do not move for I will help you get back up." Ikaros said as she grabs on Coco by the waist.
"Let me go, I don't accept mercy from my enemies." Coco stated.
"Will you quit being stubborn and let us help you?" Lucy asked, but she stand too close to the edge and it gave out, causing her to fall and crash right onto Ikaros as they along with Coco fell deeper into the hole and crash through as they end up in another creepy part of the ancient ruins.
"Ow, that hurt." Lucy winced in pain.
"Hey Ikaros, are you okay?" Lucy asked.
"I am okay, and it appears that she is okay as well." Ikaros pointed to her right where Coco is as she groans in pain.
"Oh good, now let's get out of here." Lucy said as she walks up to Coco.
"You okay?" Lucy offered her hand to Coco only for her to smack it away.
"You get away from me! In case you didn't notice, your so-called "help" is how we fell down here in the first place." Coco pointed out angry.
"You better watch your mouth little girl, unless you wanna end up someplace a whole lot worse!" Lucy threatened scaring Coco a little.
"I can't think of any place worse than being trapped down here with you!" Coco shouted back.
"What is with the attitude? You know, I once met someone who looks and sounds a lot like you; except she wasn't such a brat!" Lucy mentioned.
"Wow, what a great story. Obviously, that wasn't me, so get over it!" Coco said as she walks away.
"Hey Lucy, are you okay?" Michelle called out.
"Yeah, we're fine though it looks like we ended up in another part of the ruin." Lucy responded.
"Well, have Ikaros carry you and we'll continue the search." Romeo suggested.
"I can't, Coco is down here too, and she just wanders off, so I can't leave her here all alone." Lucy said despite the harsh talk they just had a moment ago.
"You guys try looking for the clock piece from up there, maybe we'll meet each other along the way." Lucy planned.
"I guess that's the only thing we can do right now." Romeo shrugged to the others.
"We'll go find the clock piece, but please be careful." Michelle said with a concern tone.
"Yeah, you too." Lucy said as she and Ikaros started walking to where Coco went.
"Lady Lucy, why do you insist on wanting to help Coco even though she made herself clear that she doesn't want any help from us?" Ikaros asked curious.
"I know we're fighting against her and her friends right now, but like I said before we're not the bad guys and I'm hoping to be friends with that girl, to show her that we're not doing anything bad with the clock pieces. I can tell she's not a bad girl, just determine." Lucy explained.
"So, you admire her determination to kick you in the butt?" Ikaros wondered making Lucy comedically fall.
"No, that's not what I'm going for at all!" Lucy yelled.

The race for the clock pieces continues as Lucy and her group are having some difficult to find it with Dan and Coco in the way, but Lucy thinks that she could at least be friends with Coco like she did with her otherworld counterpart despite the big difference between them.
