Ghost in the Shell SAC : 3rd Gig

David Howlett

Episode 1 : Shining Stance

Chief : Major Kasanagi, I cannot allow you to proceed.

Major : Why should I proceed? The entire set of ideals behind this new radical movement is the envelopment of the refugees' own self determination to overcome our government, think of Ghandi as a plague of rats. The reason is that Plagues are better fought with action instead of negotiating with a child like demon. It's the reason why this nation has crumbled, the entire nation is suffering from a drought of intelligence, it's as if we have all reverted to our primal state, seeking less knowledge and more entertainment. It's sort of like the way that the Catholic Church operated in the Middle Ages.

Chief : Major, I cannot allow you to continue this operation.

Major : Try and stop me. You know that without me, and without this operation, the modern world is just a big fat problem which will envelop the global diplomatic situation. I cannot allow that to happen.

Chief : If you want reconciliation that you will be supported or will receive any third party compensation, you should just go kill yourself, the government won't pay for outsiders and vigilantes in Section 9. If you go through with this, you could end up as a physical liability, and I can offer you no other advice than to give up these measures.

Major : I'm going to disengage our cyber link, I hope to see you soon.

Chief : Major, consider what you are doing, you could jeopardize your entire organization and the reputation of you as an individual and any further information may be considered refutable and you may have to relinquish your control to a further disciplinary council which may put you in a big wad of shit.

Major : That's exactly why I'm prepared for this operation, a majority of the conspirators on the refugee side of the battle are highly tactile and elite. Some are stronger than any other because of steroid abuse and narcotics. It's amazing how some people can live through such substances and intoxications, but people in history have lived through worse.

Chief : I already have that Intel and need no explanation for your actions.

Major : You may not want an explanation, but my reason is so simple why would you need one? I simply want to find the cause of the recent upswing of military attacks. It seems that hundreds of soldiers get killed with a virus every day, and at this rate Japan won't have an army in a few weeks. My guess is that the virus is being transmitted through an H-Block Transverter, thus impossible to back trace. I located, however trace elements of the radiation it generates very close, My Cyber Link Is going down now.

Chief : Be Careful, and good luck.

Major : No matter how much time goes by, it seems like the refugees can never escape the constant turmoil, those who have free spirit and will, they seem to doubt their own abilities, only one in every several thousand has a sound mind, maybe there will be hundreds of stand alone complexes. With the vast amount of new waves of attacks, when will refugees be granted asylum, and be given new lives where they can respect those of us in the cities. Until they are enlightened, we'll always be searching for a reason to fight them, because of the crimes that nobody can ever escape. The fact that they're refugees just makes them even worse off than a simple cyberterrorist. Now it seems like only time will tell whether this situation will ever reach an end.
